Exciting Fundraiser for National Veterans Foundation
The National Veterans Foundation in Los Angeles is holding a fundraiser at the Playboy Mansion. Soldiers and veterans are thrilled!
Tickets are still on sale for the May 31 event, the 11th annual High-Flyers' Charity Ball. For $400 per person and $6,500 for a table of 10, attendees will enjoy a delicious meal, entertainment, live auctions of celebrity memorabilia and more. All proceeds benefit the National Veterans Foundation, the only private veterans non profit 501(c)3 charity organization to offer a crisis hotline for veterans. Since its formation in 1985, more than 275,000 soldiers in need have been referred to or given proper medical treatment, substance abuse rehabilitation, benefit counseling, food, shelter, suicide prevention, employment training and more.
Many generous individuals contributed to the success of the event. The Real Estate Investment Advisory Council will host the event once again, while many companies and celebrities (including Tom Hanks) have purchased tables and are giving their seats away to veterans. Signed memorabilia was donated by The Doobie Brothers, Tom Petty, Larry Hagman, Martin Sheen and more. Soldiers and veterans will also enjoy a tour of the mansion by Celebrity Playmates and music by Robbyn Kirmsee of WAR, Skunk Baxter of the Doobie Brothers, and a special performance by Richard Marx.
