SOME STRAIGHT TALK ABOUT LIFE IN AMERICA FOR US AND OUR KIDS

Just finished shopping.  If any of you have noticed, only a few things cost even close to what they did last year and I will be very surprised if any of you are making as much or more money.  The only answer, of course, is to give up driving, vacations, eating expensive food and buying anything new.

Some may even consider giving up cigarettes.

Nobody should cut back drinking, however.  Nothing worse during a depression than sober pissed off people.  I hate that. If we are all going to live under bridges, I at least want high spirited company.  Americans who still remember "the depression" are few anymore.  That would be grandma or greatgrandma.  The national epidemic of cancer which we claim doesn’t exist has removed that generation like agent orange and gulf war syndrome are clearing out the VA hospitals.

Remember the good old days, only a few years ago, when "liberals" were going to send us to war or destroy our economy by taxing the rich?  We were bragging about how Reagan had beaten communism but now have a Russia that can buy and sell us with their small change loaded with Nukes with a new country getting them every 6 months…

Years ago, even a few years ago, we had politicians we believed in.  Now both congress and the president have popularity less than 25%.  What does that tell us?

My primary worry is where Obama bin Sama keeps his hand when pledging allegance to the flag he and every other politician (with some exceptions, Kerry, McCain and the gang at www.votevets.com) wouldn’t lift a hand to support or defend if that hand wasn’t clutching ten grand or more?

Could it actually be possible that neither political party really either understands diplomacy, economics, food prices or common sense. One story I never tire of and too often repeat is former President Bush going to visit a grocery store and wondering what those marks were on packages.  It was explained they were to scan prices.

He had never seen food that wasn’t brought to him opened and on a plate in his entire life.  Not every politician is that rich or that dense.  Not everyone in Washington has an IQ of 87 like our current leader. 

What we are faced with is another election.  I am holding back on this one.  I have KRAZY MKANE, OSAMA OBAMA and HITLERY to chose from along with the same cast of bible toting, bribe taking kiss asses looking for politics as a free ride thru life while sucking the country dry.

Back when there were powerful labor unions, communist agitators, Nazi sympathizers and such, we used to protest things.  We now sit in our homes and wait.

I have one message which I want us all to keep repeating.  Do not trust any government.  Watch them continually.  Believe nothing.  Ask for nothing free and expect nothing and you won’t be disappointed.

If you are in the miltary or are a veteran, expect the government to act like it hates you.

For years we have let our lives be tied to what others tell us.  Finally after living like crazy people we find our homes worthless, the dollar barely usable as fuel and our standard of living dissolving before our eyes.

If we are going to decline and rise from the ashes something is going to have to be sacrificed in the process.  It is my suggestion that the fatasses in government and the crooks who have been paying them off be thrown onto the pyre first.
