Good job Dad for putting that film out there on You Tube! The army portrays adventure, excitement, moral, etc. but if your actually on the inside looking out you really see what goes on.
I was stationed at Ft. Riley and my barracks were terrible!!! If you "google" Ft. Riley Barracks they only show you the Camp Funston ones...not the ones on Apennines Dr. (Bldg. 7846). The living space is small and I had mold in my showers. My NCO accused me of being an unsanitary, filthy soldier but I cleaned that shower so many times.
I am gald that video is out so the real world can understand the things that we go through. Yeah we deploy and it's tough out there but our morale isn't so high because of the b.s. we deal with. So to the soldiers out there...Write letters, petition, whatever to get this whole barracks issue fix. We work too hard in the Army (garrison or deployed) to be living in sub-standard (or worse) living conditions.
