Americans are a people with a sitcom reality span. They are not capable of being able to stomach the fact that the President and Vice President of the USA did anything even resembling a war crime. To put this flatly, they could not take the real shock value of it all. It would destroy their paradigms. There is no way they are going to proseucte these war criminals no matter who is in charge and no matter what the investigating committees find. It will not happen.
