DOL-VETS Announces Availability of HVRP Funds
The U.S. Department of Labor, Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS) announces a grant competition for the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP). HVRP grants are intended to address two objectives:
1) to provide services to assist in reintegrating homeless veterans into meaningful employment within the labor force, and
2) to stimulate the development of effective service delivery systems that will address the complex problems facing homeless veterans.
Both Urban and Non-Urban areas serving homeless veterans will be considered for funding under this HVRP solicitation.
Under this solicitation, VETS anticipates that up to $12 million will be available, with a maximum award of $300,000 for grants that serve Urban areas and $200,000 for grants that serve Non-Urban areas. The deadline for applications is May 4. To view the announcement on grants.gov, click here.
