I hope they do Andres. I'm retired Canadian military (+20 yrs) and served many years with U.S. counterparts stateside, in Canada under the PEP programs, as well as in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Haiti. I was always envious of the respect shown U.S. forces by various organizations. Its nice, for once, to see a Canadian institution respond in kind, for Canadian Forces. My wife (currently serving) and I did the trip from Toronto to Vancouver last year - didn't cost a cent. Just the same, my thoughts go out to those U.S. and Canadian soldiers currently serving in Regional Command (South), Kandahar Province, on this fine evening. Canada lost two brave soldiers there this week. One on patrol, and the other a combat engineer who had an IED detonate while he worked on it.

Perhaps the United States should follow this fine Canadian example and also honor our veterans and servicemen and women with this type program.
