Obama visits troops at Naval Hospital
AP-BETHESDA, Md. – President Barack Obama has visited wounded and recovering troops, awarding two Purple Hearts.
Obama spent about an hour Monday afternoon at the National Naval Medical Center outside Washington.He met with 26 inpatients, as well as about 30 outpatients and their families. He awarded two Purple Hearts during the visit.
The White House did not release details on those visited by the president.
Obama also spent time with the hospital’s staff
