DESPITE PAYOFFS AND SEXCAPADES AND MAFIA TIES
PENTACOSTAL AND "PROMISE KEEPER" JOHN ENSIGN STILL POSTER BOY FOR AMERICA’S RIGHT

Senator John ensign, one of the first to call for President Clintons resignation is, not only planning to stay in office but is, until Fox News tells us otherwise, a front runner for President of the United States in the next election.
Stepson of Mike Ensign, billionaire casino owner, who along with organized crime, managed to take over much of the nations gambling industry, Senator John Ensign hopes to weather charges of paying off the husband of his mistress with taxpayer money. Records show that the entire Hampton family began raking in money when the sex games started.
FOX NEWS STEPS UP FOR THE ENSIGN COVERUP
When the Hampton’s went to Fox News investigative journalist Megyn Kelly reporting Senator Ensign for having the entire family fired from their jobs at the exact same time Mrs. Hampton stopped servicing the Senator, a Pentacostal (read: Holy Roller) and Promise Keeper (read: religious cult based on promies of "marital fidelity") and his bizarre sexual demands, Fox News quickly took sides.
Warning the Senator of the "s%@# storm" on its way, they helped him build a cover story accusing the Hampton family of blackmail. Fox News helped put together the blackmail cover to shield Ensign from criminal charges and then denied having any received the Hampton letter at all. Their continuing position is that the Hamptons imagined the whole thing, including the Senator’s own very public admission of sexual wrongdoing. Curiouser and curiouser.
Were Senator Ensign, the "darling" of Fox News, a presidential hopeful and long time leader of anti-homosexual causes, just another hypocrite like anyone else pretending to be God’s chosen, the story would be just more government misconduct. Ensign is a hybrid like no other.
Few candidates have been able to combine looks, charm, religious extremism and a bushel of family mob connections to become the Senate’s leader on moral issues.
His fall from grace is, however, likely to have no effect on die hard conservatives and Christian groups that seem to love forgiving sin close to home as much as pointing fingers at groups that, though their behavior may be more moral, is less "Nascar" and "pro wrestling" oriented.
Ensigns position as one of the strongest advocates for the Clinton impeachment now has to withstand or use his criminal connections to derail ethics investigations that show significant payoffs tied to his sexual misconduct.
In some ways, it is refreshing, at least, to see a Republican who is not involved in a sex crime with a child or lewd homosexual acts.
You have to give Ensign credit. He, not only juggled running the country, judging his neighbor and keeping a family together but maintained a bizarre and yet vigorous illicit sex life and his hundreds of thousands in payoffs.
This kind of skill and competence is rare in a government official.
Though never having served his country in any capacity personally, Senator Ensign was good enough to serve the Republican Party as a member of the Veterans Affairs Committe during the heyday of VA scandal and underfinancing.
There are, thus far, no announced plans to name a speical prosecutor to investigate Mafia ties to the building of the Veterans Medical Center in Las Vegas. No direct connection to contractors or vendors tied to family casino operations has been yet looked into.
His contributions toward those efforts are unlikely to be forgotten by veterans. We wish him well.

Think Las Vegas, a dad who builds casinos, tied to every contractor.
Sonny boy lobbys to have a new VA hosptial come to town, first expendature for the VA he has ever liked….

You know stuff like this is so assenine. I hate to see it on a Veterans website. No one who posts on here is right all the time, or claims to be so. I think most of us are willing to show a measure of tolerance to another Vets opinion. This kind of bullshit, and name calling have no place here as far as I am concerned. Have a little respect for another vet. Will ya?
The pentecostal church is an offshot of the Catholic church, get with Barnes and he can give you the lowdown on how they split. I don’t think a liberal organization like the pentecostal church would have anything to do with Ensign.
Pentacostals are "full gospel" and are very conservative.
Liberals don’t handle poisoned snakes, roll on the floor, speak in tongues and walk on hot coals.
My mother, as a child, used to sneak down to their churches and watch them have fits. Seeing a Gene Autry movie cost 5 cents. She didn’t have the money.
I only know this because I have a farm in Kentucky a short ways from one of their churches. For 8 years, when not drooling on themselves, they howled about how Bush was annoined by G-d.
The Pentacostal church is the member church of the KKK.
