Nominate Your Top Military or Veterans Affairs Doctor
Silver Star Families of America and MilitaryConnection.com are on a quest to find the best Military and Veteran Affairs primary care physicians who serve you. We believe that those who serve and our Veterans deserve the leading edge healthcare and caring and compassionate physicians.
We want to recognize the best of the best who deliver military healthcare and veteran healthcare for the “Above & Beyond Primary Physician Awards”. The most important measure of how well a job a doctor is doing is through the patient’s feedback. The nomination and selection process for this program will totally be based on what those patients say. We encourage you to nominate deserving physicians.
Silver Star Families of America and Military Connection.com will be profiling some of these fine physicians.
In your email, please include the following:
- Your Doctor’s full Name
- The Hospital they are affiliated with
- Why you feel this doctor should be nominated (any background you wish to include)
- Your Name
- Your Email & Phone number (for verification of the nomination)
The Silver Star Families of America Join Forces With Military Connection.com to Name Top Doctors
Clever, Missouri & Simi Valley, California – Today it was announced that The Silver Star Families of America (SSFOA) and Military Connection.com have joined forces to find the best Veterans Affairs and the best Military Primary Care Doctors in the country. These two groups will be asking Veterans, active military and family members to nominate primary care physicians who they believe provide the highest level of care to their patients.
“Those doctors who deliver that respect and care through their extraordinary concern, dedication and professionalism need to be recognized." explained Steve Newton, co-founder of SSFOA. "The best measure of how well a job a doctor is doing is through the patient’s feedback. The nomination and selection process for this program will totally be based on what those patients say. We encourage you to nominate deserving physicians"
One of MilitaryConnection.com’s major areas of focus is healthcare and healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses and allied health. “Military Medicine including the VA and military hospitals use leading edge technology is world class” said Debbie Gregory, CEO of MilitaryConnection.com. “Those who serve and their families deserve the very best. It is our pleasure to work with an extraordinary organization such as Silver Star Families of America to recognize those physicians who go above and beyond for their patients”.
Silver Star Families of America and Military Connection.com will be accepting nominations online from members of the military, veterans and their family members beginning the 15th of August for a 90 day period. One VA Primary Care doctor and one Military Primary Care doctor will be selected.
To nominate your Primary Care doctor go to: www.silverstarfamilies.org or http://www.militaryconnection.com. The deadline for nominations is November 15th. The“Above & Beyond” Physician Awards will be announced on December 1st. Additionally, many deserving physicians will be profiled and recognized on both SSFOA and MilitaryConnection.com websites.

This is such B.S., It’s because of military doctors and VA doctors that many of us are so messed up. They don’t have to answer to anybody if they make mistakes.
I am very happy to be able to nominate a doctor who has given me care at the Fargo VA Medical Center in ND for over 30 years. Thanks for the opportunity. I already referred his name.
