Thank you Joe Wilson for stifling free speech in this country! Look at this Ohio politician get Wilsoned!
Here is a video stream of a guy trying to speak in Toledo OH either yesterday or the day before and he is being heckled unmercifully by some redneck. He is apparently a young Jewish guy running for mayor.
The guy is running for mayor and has some important points to make about public safety hazards. The redneck just goes on and on and at one point screams "You are a liar!". No one stops him EXCEPT in a minute after the heckling starts, one or two very young black children start to heckle the heckler. "And children shall lead them…."
We have Joe Wilson to thank for this and THIS is why inappropriate conduct from a U.S. Congressman on the floor of the Congress is so dangerous. It gives permission for all other misdirected and misinformed Americans to deny free speech to American politicos. With this simple tactic, if it gets carried too far, free speech and intelligent public discourse of important issues is brought to a screeching halt.
This is dangerous only because it is now okay to heckle any politician into silence. And THAT means that important issues of public policy are now incapable of being discussed. This is actually a very sad video. You need to watch this. And then send it to Joe Wilson’s office.
I am a left wing Democrat living in Northern Virginia who worked very hard to get Obama elected here. I grew up in Republican politics in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My grandfather was a Republican ward leader in that city for many decades. I know big city politics very well. This is so wrong. What happened to allowing a candidate for office to speak his piece? What happened to civil discourse?

Words carrying the truth will do no good if they can be kept silent. The truth can be portrait as wrong by making the person telling it to be mental. Let us look at the many disabled Veterans across the U.S. How can both political parties keep these (saviors of our freedom, drain on their pet project budgets) from making the public aware of the veterans needs? The Veteran is the silent hero that gave so that you could enjoy your life and make what you wished out of it, be your choice. The veteran is the child that gave up everything to lay their lives on the line defending your freedom. Taking the disabilities that a veteran received on tour to cripple that veteran’s character in the public eye to silence his words constitutes malice. A newspaper violating their ethical codes claiming it is their right as a free business is like cutting the limbs off the disabled veteran to enable the politicians to blind the public. Words carrying the truth should never be censored.
A Veteran’s disabilities can lurk deep in the sub-conscious. The heroin acts of killing and maiming other human beings, as a daily routine to survive will never ever go away. The child now a monster comes back to a civilized society to be mocked and ridiculed by everyday individuals unknowingly. Survival in a civilized society contradicts with the laws and norms to warrant defensive social behavior, alienating the individual. Not knowing how or unable to secure any help the now forgotten veteran status dwindles the life goals to become a loser. Politicians and the Veterans Administration can now justify placing this veteran in jail or worse the streets to die unnoticed and alone. What is worse is when a politician like U.S. Rep Shea-Porter from NH does these very acts and the newspapers praise her. Can it be justified that the words of this 100% disabled veteran can be silenced because they expose the criminal acts of elected officials?
I have not violated the law. I have lived through the social injustice of surviving in this civilized society trying to make the public aware of government wrongs. Survival tells me that killing is justified to secure freedom. My mind tells me that in a civilized society correcting the wrongs can be done by communication with the other citizens of a civilized society. Shea-Porter is using my VA medical to stop my opinion letters. The NH governor is making me pay money to speak with him. The newspaper is interfering with a free election to stop my getting elected by twisting to truth to enrage the public against me.
I have four permanent life changing disabilities from my tour in the Marine Corps. Anyone can make me out to be mental. The thing is, this is about you. The citizens of the U.S. are being controlled by bogus news reporting and corrupt politicians. This opinion letter is about all the disabled military returning to be placed in the same inhuman malice situations because our words carrying the truth can be kept silenced by mocking and ridiculing us to the point of no return.

For instance ever hear the terminology “GET THEM WHERE IT HURTS”? That phrase enshrouds this acronym B.A.G.S., Budget Attack Government Services. The number One Enemy existing in America hiding under camouflage of CORPORACRACY, AS A CORPORATION BRANCHED AS a.c.o.n. DESIGNED TO UNDERMINE OUR CONSTITUTION BY BANKRUPTING OUR SOCIAL AID SYSTEM. Their tactics work against them if used against those in command of Government. You see Our Government has been penetrated by the Enemy of Freedom and “IT” used Codes, Regulations, and Ordnances to get “ITS” way. I don’t know about anyone else, but when I read a lot of name calling, and sometimes vulgar type language, I pretty much ignore the message. Who can take someone seriously who is talking like that. I wonder how many people don’t respond to the articles because they are afraid of being cursed at? Some readers have left this site because of it. There are a lot of women who read here also. I wonder how they like it? A lot of men are offended by this kind of talk. Clean it up and see how many more readers there are.
You could not be more correct. There are a lot of sensitive people in America now a day that is one reason they need so much welfare. After all when it comes to holding on to FREEDOM we don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. I’ll talk to Joe Wilson about that, maybe get some advice. What do ya think?
Seems to me that a lot of people have thrown things like common sense, and common courtesy to the side. Is it any wonder they have so much trouble in their lives. What a wonderful way to treat a Veteran on a Veteran site. Of course you want to ban The Blue Max again. But every Veteran who reads this will know why…the ones who believe as you do, the ones who don’t and the Independents like me. My world will not change if you ban me again. It’s just another victory for The Blue Max. But Veterans Today will suffer because in your fear you have silenced a dissenting voice, and that is the death knell of VT’s integrity. In honest discourse, it is never necessary to use the attacking language you use. “What you are speaks so loudly, I cannot hear your discourse.” And it’s kind of humorous that you have an article of maybe 1500 words to say what you want to say and prove what you want to prove and then you go all ding-aling when a Veteran refutes you in a handful of words. Methinks you are not truly convinced of the righteousness of your positions, so your defense is to scream, curse, villify and ban such as The Blue Max.
