Obama’s sins just hav’nt caught up with him yet Duff. Seeing him and his whole cabinet is made up with, or frinds with lawyers, they can hide anything from the public. Start telling the truth about this administration, maybe the people will listen. I for one am not going to buy into his change lies. Tell us something this administration has actually done for the people. Remember, for the people, by the people! This administration does’nt want change for the people, they want to control the people. This is all the Libs always want. Obviously you have bought into it too. My views are not pierced by the man’s skin color. Their are alot of conservative blacks out there. I based my opinion fo this person because I do not believe in his views. If you happen to believe, go right ahead. I spent my time in the military and took orders, I am out and refuse to do so now. Will I respect him? Yes because of his title. Do I have to agree with him? No!

This idiot writing this article is no more a veteran tha aunt tilly is. I spent 8 years in the Navy, every vet, I know can’t stand this administration. Guess you wrote this one just before Limbaugh came out with his ” we need segregated school busses now” radio puke the other day,, but it was just the type of hate speech you are referring to.
Your points are way too insightful and realistic now to be ignored.
I sadly shake my head and wonder where we are headed,, and I do truly worry about the safety of our president. I am living in south Carolina for the time being,,yes,, one of the states where over half of the people believe that somehow Obama slipped through the immigration cracks to become president,, and where ammunition sales
skyrocketed after the election,, where husbands have no healthcare for their families
but scream about socialism and communism when anyone even mentions healthcare reform.
For some it is just easier to blindly hate,, than it is to learn.

I fear that we’ve become a nation of dumbed-down consumers who are more concerned with being right than being free.

So we choose the hype-spinning pundit who most closely aligns with our own ideas and root for them, to the exclusion of objectivity and digging for real news.

But you’ve got to acknowledge that The News™ is a product, not a service, and television is one long commercial.

Alton,

Ok..you are a funny guy. In the last 36 hours, I have gotten hundreds of emails. I live around Republicans, I am one. I live around racists. I grew up in Detroit.

In the last week or so, support for the government case on 9/11 has disappeared but who cares, Obama doesn't. Hell, more Republicans are calling for a new commisson than Dems.

What I have seen is some total nutso's...we always have that but also I have seen some folks, normally seen as OK, who are unable to voice any reason for their beliefs other than "god told me" or thinly veiled racism.

I have been working with PTSD vets for many years. I don't mind a bit of "total nuts" sometimes. I almost think we need it.

What I don't like is that nasty feeling I get when I think i am seeing evil.

I am not a religious person. I don't want to be converted to something just because people around me who claim to be religious are Satan freaks.

Let me have one of those "Paul on the road to Damascus" experiences, not a need to demand exorcisms for a couple of dozen readers.

Anyway...have fun.

Hey Duff, Congratulations! Before you were a slightly left leaning writer and now you have graduated to”Communist” in their eyes (as if the slanderer knows what that means). Guess America is starting to set up the dividing lines now, “If’n you ai’nt for us, you is agin us”! Well, There was a time that I heard voices too, they said “vote for Kerry” but I didn’t listen. Last time I voted for Obama to make up for it. And yes, I have a few guns (hope it doesn’t come to me using them though). Keep up the good work. You might get people to thinking.
