Fighting Anti-Semitism

October 1, 2009 by Michael Leon · 2 Comments

bigot2When I wrote my piece on Mikey Weinstein and the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF), I was driven by the fact that I am a son of two intelligent parents who in one way or another have fought bigotry all their lives.

My mother grew up in College Park, Georgia, later moving to Forest Park where she met my father at some dance at Fort McPherson where my father was stationed—the start of two hard-working, liberal minds raising four kids and working to make a better world.

When my mother was a child (1940s), she and her family would often visit recreational-park lakes in the area and she was struck once by a park sign reading "Gentiles Only." So, she asked her mother what a gentile is.

Back then it wasn’t just the "coloreds" and whites who were segregated; it was also the Jews and the gentiles.

Later, the Protestant-turned Catholic-turned agnostic learned about Leo Frank—a Jewish lynching victim in early 20th-century Georgia— black taxis (that she rode to the consternation of concerned neighbors) and the sickness of segregation and stupidity.

Hate and bigotry stuck with her, more precisely fighting hate and bigotry stuck with her. Me too.

Next time, some idiot says anything about Jews, blacks, Latinos, my humble advice is that we rain on the ignorant prick.

There is GREED & Criminals in every RACE. Now that records are electronically keep in a more precise way, it is much easier to identify the “Theoretical Evolution” which is followed by the majority of the elite leader ship in America and around the world. In this moment of time of debt and world financial domination is simple to identify the RACE which controls the majority of Liquid assets. Couple that with a professed belief system and achieve a result. Go rain on yourself. It appears that you are the ignorant genetically coded colored raciest. Freedom means FREE. If YOU DON’T LIKE WHAT SOME ONE SAYS, YOU ARE FREE TO NOT LISTEN! Which is most likely what many do best.

The freedom of speech doesn’t include the right to incite violence or to say anything that comes to mind . smart people think before they speak . The above is just common curtsy.

Hundreds of thousands of servicemen were exposed to asbestos over decades, especially during the period from 1940 to 1980. Asbestos was used in construction of naval vessels as well as shore facilities. All branches of the military used asbestos, which was also widely used in civilian applications. Asbestos can cause mesothelioma. Because this cancer has a particularly long latency period, many servicemen who were exposed years ago are now developing this disease. - Mesothelioma Patient & Family Resources: Mesotheliomahelp is provided by Belluck & Fox, LLP as a comprehensive resource for mesothelioma victims and their families.  The site provides up-to-date information on the latest news and treatment options as well as an easy to use search feature to find local mesothelioma doctors and health care clinics.  - We fight for veterans harmed by asbestos: Veterans with mesothelioma or asbestos-related lung cancer should know they have options: the opportunity to bring a suit against manufacturers and sellers of the asbestos that caused their illness. If you were harmed by asbestos exposure, for example, in ships or military housing, contact Weitz & Luxenberg to get a free case review. - Important Information for Veterans: Asbestos products were often used on military ships and within military housing, and Veterans may have been exposed. Previous exposure to asbestos is the only known cause of mesothelioma, a fatal cancer that has no cure and affects countless Veterans and loved ones.
