Yesterday in the Houston Chronicle they had a story on the front page about a wheelchair bound woman that had a rap sheet spanning almost 2 decades that panhandled on the street, was addicted both a user and dealer that got hit by a hit and run driver. Now i don,t know about you,But i don,t give a shit and does that rate front page coverage ? Just a story. I read our daily, the USA today and two local weekly papers. One of the weekly papers is the best paper, including the internet. I don't think the problem is the readers, but the writers or the editors and the subject matter. I have read articles in our local daily that I know is lies and BS and that the writer preparing the article is to lazy to check the source of information to make sure that it is true.
