GORDON DUFF: RESTORING AMERICA’S REAL GLORY: TRUTH AND HONOR
TIME FOR ALL AMERICANS TO SAY “NO MORE”

Before the fiasco of invading Iraq, a self destructive act done at the behest of lobbyists, we invaded Afghanistan because of 9/11. The terrorists were trained in the US, under the watchful eye of the FBI and CIA, soaked in Saudi cash. It was never about Afghanistan.
Bush was and still is nuts. He just isn’t in charge. Now, nobody is, we had crazy people now we have the Central Command under General Petraeus, lobbying to keep a war going that has turned into a massive uprising against the United States by people who are fighting for their freedom against an nation of “evil doer” invaders. This isn’t a war Americans can fight, no matter how many phony “bin Ladens” and mysterious terrorists the war mongers invent.
The idea of pumping up our troops with patriotism and sending them out to a war that we simply have no damn business fighting is criminal. The other criminal part is that anyone who complains is called a traitor, a leftover from our period of national insanity under the control of whoever was running America when Bush turned the country over to Rove, Rumsfeld, Ashcroft and Cheney and their friends who made billions on 8 years of mayhem based on “bad information.”
Why do we have to have the “mainstream” press lead us around by the nose? The free press in America has been dead for years. It is time we brought this country to a total halt, stopped everything, like they do in Europe. What does it take? How much proof is needed? What Moses found when he came down from the mount was nothing compared to the orgy we have going on in America today. Close your eyes. Can you see the golden calf? Its there, its everywhere you look.
THE BIN LADEN INDUSTRY
In a blend of “Weekend at Bernies” and “Where’s Waldo,” our con men in the intelligence and defense industry, once a part of our actual government, have made an industry out of Osama bin Laden. Pakistani intelligence (ISI) knows bin Laden is dead. However, since we give them 3.5 billion dollars a year, more than the entire defense budget of the country, to look for him, they have thousands of agents digging thru trash bins, looking under rocks and searching women’s purses, looking for the elusive Osama.
Whenever a general is sent to Congress, he starts up the “Osama chorus” knowing it will squeeze another billion for golf courses and gold plated toilet seats.
The mindless drones of our formerly free press get the call every month or so to try to breathe life into the bin Laden corpse. It isn’t just readership, the press has, if anyone has been noticing, playing us all as chumps. One only needs to check who owns the TV networks or that Fox, owned by Israeli right wing extremist Rupert Murdoch, does everything possible to keep US troops in combat as long as it serves the interests, not really of Israel, but his Murdoch’s friends who play in the oil and gas markets and the massive Israeli defense industry, now one of the biggest on earth.
OUR MILITARY MORONS AND THE ALPHABET SOUP BOYS, CIA, FBI, NSA DHS, DIA and and and……
The same litmus test applied to politics, belief in the rapture and Armageddon, fear of homosexuals, saying “how high” when extremist elements from Israel give the “jump” order and a willingness to lie on command, tell any “whopper” to Congress or the American people, no matter who dies, how much money lost or how much it hurts the United States, this is what it takes to make it in our military.
When Christian extremists took over, the welfare of the Untied States went down the toilet. All rewards were to come in the “hereafter.” Dead soldiers, dead “collateral damage” civilians are unimportant, only seeing gods work done, as seen by a pack of nutty TV preachers matters.
Who needs food, education or freedom when the private god of the ruling elite, a god filled with hate, a god in love with fear and ignorance, has a plan to follow. To imagine that we actually criticize Islam for extremism. I don’t remember anything about the Prophet calling for nuclear destruction as part of his plan for the “end of days.” Maybe the Pentagon can have that added to the Koran.
To them, the “boys” doing god’s work, economic collapse, endless war and pushing our sons and daughters into the “meat grinder” of Afghanistan is only following the what the voices in their heads tell them. Every America should read the prayers inserted into every intelligence document done under the Bush regime.
The prayers may have been the best part. Is it a sin to put attach a prayer to a lie?
WHAT IF “ANTI-WAR” WAS REAL PATRIOTISM, HONOR AND COURAGE?
I don’t care how much our national IQ dropped over the last few years, how much T-Bagging, Birther, Secret UN Prison and “One World Order” idiocy our military industrial news and internet rumor machine has fed us over the years.
Anyone who thinks the farces we have are free elections deserves the news lies. We all agree on a few things:
- Only idiots and pawns can get elected to public office
- If someone with guts gets in, they manage to have a mysterious plane crash
- If the people tried to work “within the system,” lobbyists would simply flood Washington with bribe money like they did during the health insurance debate
- Any genuinely independent member of Congress faces a massive influx of money against his reelection from the Israeli/Defense/Wall Street/Big Oil lobby thanks to the McCain/Feingold Campaign Reform act, the biggest single attack on free government in 50 years
- “If it is waving a flag and standing next to a soldier, it probably belongs in prison”
Its time we stuck to the truth. If it weren’t for the money being stolen, there wouldn’t be any wars. Perhaps its time we started asking some hard questions about terrorism. If there is so much profit, billions and billions, in starting wars or fighting terrorism, is it just possible that something might be going on that we don’t see?
Terrorism is big business. War is even bigger. Stopping war and stopping terrorism would be extremely bad for the powerful people that control our economy, dictate to our government and own our TV, media and run all those internet sites that send out the “daily lie.”
I suspect, just a little bit, mind you, that if there wasn’t so much money in war and terrorism, we might not have war and terrorism. This is just a suspicion, mind you. Don’t pay any attention to this.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
Our newspapers have been lying to us for years as has TV and all those organizations that are supposed to stand up for our rights. All of them are nothing but a con, sticking it to us, keeping us from taking responsibility for our lives, our country and the insanity we have allowed.
If it is on any media, its lying. Stop watching, stop reading, top playing along. What is news worth when it is written in a public relations agency working for a weapons manufacturer, insurance company or Israel? If you wonder why you feel rage inside but don’t know why, maybe you need to open your eyes.
Every email you get, you know the ones, the people telling you about the plots, they come from the same place. The real message in all of them: “keep stupid, keep spending, keep hating, stay afraid, don’t ask questions, just do as you are told and bend over.”
Until we are ready, all of us, blue state, red state, NRA, AFL-CIO, ACLU, Move-On, American Legion, all of us, until we are ready to say NO, we are going to be slaves.
Do any of you believe this is a democracy? Anyone?
What is a coward? A coward chooses to believe a lie when facing the truth is too hard. It is time for cowards to grow up, “grow a pair” and stop lying to themselves.
Talking “revolution” while listening to a “call to arms” from Wall Street and Big Oil has been the defining fault of America’s right. Gutlessness has been the defining fault of America’s left.
If American’s aren’t going to fight to make America what it is supposed to be, then take the flag down, burn it and put something else in its place. Perhaps we can vote on the new one. How about a skull and cross bones, and the word EXXON or HALLIBURTON? Do we add a cross to it? Maybe, if we are being honest, shouldn’t the cross be upside down?

Couldn’t agree more Gordon,, but just like mold in the refrigerator,, some these constant lies linger, and become more toxic and harmful,, and eventually must be cleaned.
And just like that mold,, it never goes away by itself. One thing about a lie,,, when it has been proven to be a big one,, as most of them eventually become,, there is always a price to be paid for it.
The very sad part is that the lies seem to so vastly outnumber the truths these days,, still, I do believe that they will be seen as lies in time.
I guess one way to look at it and still have heart, is to imagine a world where we were either too ignorant to recognize the lie,, or a world that had no actual lying in it. That would be one awfully boring world.
The native Americans had an old expression; measure a man by the strength of his enemy.
These days there appears to be no lack of powerful enemies. Perhaps slightly frustrating that we cannot ram them with our mopeds,, or toss a beer in their faces,,perhaps frustrating that when we send the truth out to our friends and readers they seldom write back appreciating our efforts or bothering to acknowledge our research,,perhaps frustrating that we cannot reach way down into our abdomen and belt a massive shock wall of warrior KEEYI!! into their faces making them wet their pants and making their hands tremble and tingle in fear for hours,, perhaps frustrating that we cannot get a small stick and tap them on the top of the head asking them over and over,,”You were lying weren’t you,, just admit it!”
Yes,, frustrating,,, but what a perfect opportunity to have our friends look back in a few years and say amongst themselves,,,”Gee,, that damn old Gordon was right after all!”
There is certainly no immediate gratification for your efforts,, other than perhaps a type of Gestalt relief provided by expressing your feelings and pointing out the lies, in a mode of self preservation from drowning from all the false information.
But it obvious to me that your main motivation is for the soul of the warrior,, the man or woman whose life will be changed forever by these lies. The souls who will thirst for just one day without a couple of nightmares,,perhaps one day without remembering a horror,, or perhaps just one day without feeling a shame,, perhaps searching forever for what they remember as feeling normal.
But do know and remember that your writing is so very important,, and to many of us, so very much appreciated. Merry Christmas Gordon. PEACE.
I sometimes wonder what the soul of a warrior is. For many years, on and off, I have played warrior, the clown vet like so many others or parts best not discussed but equally futile, equally false and perhaps even more grotesque.
I am not so sure what we do is part of the craft. Not anymore.
To define the warrior, we need to return to Castaneda. A warrior acts with controlled folly, knowing that the things he does are useless but he does them anyway, each act as though it were to be his last.
A warrior is guided by the constant presence of his death.

It stinks knowing too much. It really hurts. But, if I close my eyes, ears and mind, I won’t feel the rage. Besides, I don’t want my friend to think that I am not a patriot.
Wonder when will everyone wake up and finally use SPARKY on this real terrorist. Lizzie had it right. everyone is hurt and prefers to turn a blind eye.
