CALL FOR IMMEDIATE ARREST OF 5 SUPREME COURT JUSTICES FOR TREASON

January 22, 2010 by Gordon Duff · 276 Comments

Constitution in flamesTHE FIVE THAT STAND AGAINST ALL AMERICANS, THE “MAFIA” JUDGES

By Gordon Duff STAFF WRITER/Senior Editor

Five members of the Supreme Court declared that a “corporation” is a person, not a “regular person” but one above all natural laws, subject to no God, no moral code but one with unlimited power over our lives, a power awarded by judges who seem themselves as grand inquisitors in an  meant to hunt down all hertics who fail to serve their god, the god of money.

Their ruling has made it legal for foreign controlled corporations to flush unlimited money into our bloated political system to further corrupt something none of us trust and most of us fear.  The “corporation/person” that the 5 judges, the “neocon” purists, have turned the United States over to isn’t even American.  Our corporations, especially since our economic meltdown are owned by China, Russia and the oil sheiks along with a few foreign banks.  They don’t vote, pay taxes, fight in wars, need dental care, breathe air, drive cars or send children to school.  Anyone who thinks these things are people is insane.  Anyone who would sell our government to them is a criminal and belongs in prison.  There is nothing in the Constitution that makes this “gang of five” bribe sucking clowns above the law.  There is nothing in the Constitution that even mentions corporations much less gives them status equal to or greater than the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of government.

The Supreme Court of the United States has no right to breathe human life into investment groups owned by terrorist sympathizers, foreign arms dealers or groups working for the downfall of the United States and everything we believe in, but 5 “justices” have done just that.  We now have a new government above our government, above our people, one above any law.   Five judges have created institutionalized gangsterism as the new form of government for the United States.

No American soldier can ever go to war fighting for a Chinese hedge fund, a German bank or a Saudi Arabian fertilizer company.  Will our new debates in Congress be between members representing the opium warlords against the Columbian cartels?  Their cash, which long ago has infiltrated one major corporation or bank after another is now heading for your local representative.   How important do you think secure borders for America are for these new policial “influencers?”

For years we complained about AIPAC, the Sierra Club, the NRA, trial lawyers, trade unions, NAM (National Association of Manufacturers) and the churches that got involved in politics.  Behind all of these were people, American citizens, and, on some occasions, Americans who fought for their country, raised kids here and were invested in the survival of America although they didn’t always act that way.  This was an American problem.  Now we aren’t even sure we have an America anymore.

Anyone who believes that a massive flood of corporate money into politics won’t throw control of both houses of Congress into the hands of the wealthy nations that are also our primary strategic enemies, you know the ones, the ones loaded with oil cash, the ones with 10 cent an hour labor and legal systems that  shoot first and ask questions later.  They just were told they can buy the United States, not just our government, but our military, and the lives of our soldiers.  They can now make our laws, raise our taxes, decide on our civil rights, where we can live, if we can own guns, how late we stay up, where and what we drive and, eventually, how we think.  The Supreme Court has given foreign owned corporations the eventual power to silence us all.

When a corporation commits a crime, nobody goes to jail.  When wars come, they don’t fight, they simply rake in cash.  When children are poisoned or workers are killed, they seldom even pay a fine.  However, when they want something, billions in tax money for “bail outs” or fat contracts or special laws, they have always gotten it.  It  has been a battle to control corporations for 140 years.  Sometimes the American people have lost, sometimes they have won.  Our greatest presidents are the ones who reined in corporate power and kept the influence of money over humanity in check.  Think of Theordore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, Dwight Eisenhower and John Kennedy.

Without them we would be living in work camps, stuck at machines all day, our children at our sides.  We would be paid in beans and salt pork, dying at 40 in filth like people around the world who live in countries controlled by corporations.

Based on the justices that we want prosecuted being Reagan/Bush “conservatives” you would think this is a liberal/conservative issue.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  Nothing less “conservative” has ever been done by a branch of our government.  There is nothing “conservative” about our Supreme Court going insane and abandoning our Constitution and making medical decisions, not to give life to a fetus, but to a bank account.

This is nothing but an extremely unAmerican and unpatriotic group of thieves believing that Americans had given up so many of their civil liberties in silence during the Global War on Terror scam that opening the “Pandora’s Box” of class conflict could now be done with nobody saying a word.  Their “corporate person” is now a Baron or Duke, the great landlords of the medieval period.  Americans are now destined for serfdom.  Their political and economic theories, what are they?  Is it conservatism or feudalism?

We are already burdened with a representative government that has tied itself to the money spigot because of the incredible cost of media exposure in campaigns.  People running for office in ancient Rome would purchase thousands of animals for slaughter in the arena.  Mass executions were staged as media events for political campaigns.  In fact, the arenas in every Roman city were built for that purpose, today replaced by television and the internet.  We thought we had changed since that time.  We were wrong.

The framers of the Constitution created the Supreme Court, the Electoral College and originally had Senators appointed, not elected, to protect the wealthy from having their money and land seized by the masses who would otherwise have controlled the government.  This was the 1780s.  The only “democracy” we knew about was ancient Athens, where the majority of the people living there were slaves.    27 Amendments later, including the Bill of Rights, we have worked to define justice and decency.  Generations have fought and died to keep life in our imperfect system from 1780.  Who would have thought that 5 people could destroy it all?

Political debate in America is sometimes extreme, often bordering on violence.  Feelings are high.  How many times have you heard people threaten to leave the country because “their America” no longer exists.  We know that few really mean it.  When faced with a real threat, no people on earth are to be feared like Americans.  When help is needed, no people on earth are to be trusted and relied on like Americans.  This is the pride we have in our country and ourselves.  We never agree on anything.  We aren’t supposed to, we are Americans.

Everything we built has been based on a balance, race, religion, ethnicity, social standing, political beliefs, regional interests, all striving and compromising to build something we are all secretly very proud of, something all of us are willing to fight for and many are.  Americans all agree on one thing, that our government in Washington is out of control and has been for some time.  We all have different ideas on this but agree on the fact itself.  We wonder where the politicians come from, men too often “less great” than those of the past, in fact, less great than average.  Decisions are continually made that most find puzzling and, in fact, are driven by a rotten underbelly of corruption and self interest.

Now, 5 members of the Supreme Court, people none of us voted for, a group that is answerable to no authority and, seemingly, no law or moral code, a group famous for immoderation, poor judgement and low personal integrity has, either through blindness, avarice or insanity clearly done something so malicious, so unjust and so utterly inconsistent with our Constitution that they, themselves, have become an “enemy of the people.”

What is their power?  What they have done is not within the scope of the authority given through the Constitution.  Their acts are outside the law, their acts are those of a conspiracy, their acts are meant to diminish our freedoms, our sacred institutions and even endanger our lives.  Typically, such acts are called crimes and those who commit them are criminals.

What could drive judges, albeit judges appointed with little thought as part of a cheap political ploy, to abandon any American consitutency?  Corporations have no religion.  They care nothing for the unborn.  They have no allegiance to a flag, a family or any moral ethic.  They serve no person, owe no loyalty other that to stockholders, shadowy groups of Russian oligarchs, Chinese banks, corrupt dictators grown fat on the spoils of their people or the international consortiums of bond and currency speculators who have, for decades, abandoned any economic law to build the etherial “house of cards” we call the “world economy.”

The control of the American electoral process has been given to them.  No serving politican can survive now standing against them.  Years ago “they” bought our newspapers and our television networks.  Fact and truth became whatever they wanted us to believe.  “They” gained control of what many thought and what almost all of us see and hear.  That wasn’t enough.  They wanted it all.  As their control has grown, so has terrorism, continual war, economic poverty for millions Americans and insensitivity to justice and humanity.  Who would expect anything else from a corporation with no blood, no heart and no face?

The Founding Fathers led America on the path to freedom and eventual democracy.  The Federalists limited the ability of an impetuous electorate to seize power and “reform” America into chaos and anarchy.  This system of government was predicated on the belief that love of country would always burn brightly in America and with progress, freedom and bounty was the ineviable reward of our industry.  It is only now too obvious that so much has happened that was unforseen.  It is not a denial of our traditions to correct wrongs when we find them.  This was how America was created.  We are drowning in wrongs, we all finally agree on this.

The time is now.  Party politics have failed.  Political theories are little more than empty rhetoric meant to mislead and misinform.  State has become church and church has become state.  State is less just and church less godly.  All we have left is “we, the People.”  This is how we began and it is now all we have to move forward.  It is time for the states to call for a Constitutional Convention to establish, not just a Republic, but a Democracy, by and for the people, the American people, rich and poor, a nation loyal to itself, not tied to corporations, a vast military industrial complex or endless foreign alliances.

If it is to be a genuinely conservative nation, one with individual freedoms, a small government, fewer taxes and more opportunity, a nation as intended, then we will all have to live with it.  The bloated corpse we are creating in Washington is emitting a stench we can no longer abide.  We will be saying goodbye to our Supreme Court, our seniority system in Congress and our political machines pretending to be “parties”  and hello to paper ballots, a free press, term limits and the ability to yank a scoundrel out of office when we catch one.

  1. You, Sir are an idiot.

This is not about corporations. It is about free speech. Most of us knew when McCain Feingold was passed that it was an attack on free speech. It was not about campaign finance at all.

And as we knew, the Liberals would disregard it and the Conservatives would obey it.

You seem to be a shill for Obama and the Democrat Gulag.

Individuals or corporations who speak for individuals have the right to use that speech in a public forum.

It is evident that you are a statist man not a freedom-loving Constitutionalist.

    • John Dough says:

Terry McGuire, you sir are the idiot. Corporations as people? Christ man, are you crazy. How can a business entity speak? What right is lost if they can’t “speak”? The corporation is full of individuals making their individual statements and speeches. The corporation cannot possible speak for all of them.

      • steve says:

“The corporation is full of individuals making their individual statements and speeches. The corporation cannot possible speak for all of them.”

no its not, if those employees say anything against the company they will be fired, so think about it…

      • Gordon Duff says:

You thinking is unsound. Characterizing bribery as ‘free speech’ is wrong. You are saying that a terrorist organization that owns a corporation should have untouched financial influence over American government?

I see a civil war in the mix. It will be a bloodbath.

      You, Sir are an idiot.

people are people, a company is not, realize that

    • C says:

You seem to be so brainwashed and partisan and flat out naive that you automatically are against anything OBama the puppet is for and are for anything Faux News or certain media people are for. Obama happens to be right this time, this decision is BS, regardless of what your favorite media stooge tells you.

      • Gordon Duff says:

I represent a defense company, traded on the NY Stock exchange, one the Supreme Court would love. Ownership is 80% UAE 10% German and god only kows who owns the rest of it.

Stock is held by law firms in the US who represent, through a series of corporations hedge funds from Zurich who are controlled by Arabs who, in this case, I know and admire.

Mullah Omar could, just as easily, own and control this company. The FBI couldn’t find out in a year or more. All you need is one SPV, (special purpose vehicle) in an ownership train, and most companies have them, and control is totally hidden. The Court knew that. They simply had another agenda, one very unAmerican.

  2. Ilene says:

In your last paragraph, Mr.Duff, you name freedom speech and press etc., etc. as “conservative.” Why? Never mind. The words “liberal” and “conservative” have been proven meaningless when humane and humanization ideals and needs are replaced with corruption, greed, and the persistent abuse of power. Labels are with credence as long as misery replaces the name of Earth.

  3. Ilene says:

I mean “labels are WITHOUT credence.” Sorry ’bout that.

  4. Steve says:

Personally, I think this is way out there. Why on earth would you want to arrest the 5 justices on the US Supreme Court that are helping to keep America from sliding down the path of ludicrous liberalism. Regarding this ruling, I’m not 100% sure it was the right one but still your call like that could have someone knocking on YOUR door for promoting treason.

    • John Dough says:

Corporations don’t care whether liberals or conservatives are in power. Watch them swap allegiances quicker than banks fail now days. The money goes to whichever party is in favor at the time. Both parties are corrupt and corporations use that. Anyway, contributions are BRIBERY. They expect something in return. They most often get it and it ain’t for your benefit or mine.

  5. Arrested, Tried and executed. Enough of this bullsh#*

  6. Brooke says:

It’s been here for a while now, but the Supreme Court made it official. We live in a fascist country. It’s hard to admit, but it’s true.

The time of reckoning has come and we are starting to take our country back. I am 23 years old and I know my generation is not going to put up with this. We are slowly but surely getting organized!

    • Gordon Duff says:

      Aaron,

The “Founding Fathers” didn’t write the constitution, they wrote the declaration of independence. Read Charles Beard’s “Economic Interpretation of the Constitution” when u get the chance. Short and enjoyable read.

Even our flawed constitution was trashed by the court. Please carry no misconceptions about who the framers of the constitution were and how it served a counterrevolutionary purpose.

Real American history requires time and facts, not mythography, rumors and Fox News.

      g

      • Gordon Duff says:

        Aaron,

YOu need to repackage this, perhaps down to my level. I am not understanding this. As for US history, I brief members of Congress on US history.

        g

      • Gordon Duff says:

        Aaron,

While you have been busy, thankfully so, I have been stuck in years of international law, civil litigation and US criminal law. Oh yes, those suckers can be arrested, easy as shit. Nothing protects them.

They can be arrested but not removed from office unless impeached.

We have at least 2 justices who have taken money already….and it has been ignored. SC justices have no rights beyond any other federal judge and we lock them up all the time.

        g

        • Gordon Duff says:

          Aaron,

You don’t know me and I would not know you. We have so many of your type. What is your type? Simple. You are a Fox News/Michael Steele shill who thinks they can suck their way around the internet hoping that our masters will leave them a few crumbs.

You never had your 15 minutes and, if you notice, you aren’t getting it here.

          g

      • JMo says:

Actually, James Madison wrote the Constitution. I’m pretty sure he was a Founding Father, but I guess I’ll have to double check my “real American history”.

Mr. Duff, do you believe that the documentary in question in the Citizens United case should have been illegal and that the federal government should have banned its broadcast?

  7. George W Krauss says:

Calling for a Constitutional Convention would be the worst thing to do. The first one turned out to be a run-a-way convention. Fortunately,it ended up for our good. Convening a 2nd one would leave too many open doors for a elitepower grab and after it convened whom ever was in the strongest position would decide just what was done..PERIOD. Another run-a-way convention would run the same risks and with today’s politics and corruption it would be most likely total destruction of the U.S. Constitution. I have already seen the proposed constitution of the New States-it is not good, there wouldn’t be any need of a Supreme Court as all our rights would have been thrown out the window and would usher the NWO right into our homes like it or not.

NO!!! we must fight for our states rights at the state level and fight to defend ourselves if we are forced into doing so as the Federal Government or even the Supreme Courts did not form the states – the states formed the federal government-the states are sovereign. Does anyone fathom how many artmed citizens we have in the U.S. right now. They,at last count outnumber the weaponry of all the military branches added together. It had to be so since this Government has failed its duty and sold what wasn’t theirs to sell. They are guilty of sedition and subsequently treason.

    • Gordon Duff says:

We allowed 3000 Americans to be murdered on 9/11. We accepted childish lies as answers. Then we allowed 5000 more to be murdered and we knew it was lies. The “crazy” Mafia of the Supreme Court gave us the maniac and his cabal of mass murderers. The corporate press, defense lobby and AIPAC guided them along.

Now we are a pitiful debtor nation with no future.

It isn’t just the government, it is the cowards among us who shill for the criminal element.

      Pick a side.

      g

      • Gordon Duff says:

        Aaron,

You love the internet, this part is good. You have time on your hands. We are obviously a pitiful debtor nation. Why you would want to protect the people who made us that way for their personal gain….

Unless you just haven’t been paying attention for many years. Perhaps we could hand you over to Jeff Gates. Check in at: http://www.criminalstate.com

Being oblivious to reality is not unusual. Where hope lies is that you are finally a minority.

  8. Mike says:

This “country” was founded on genocide, slavery and greed. So, it is fitting that the demise should be so poetic. What exactly do you expect to happen when the “trustworthy” americans, dumbed-down, and completely enthralled with the celebrity du jour gleefully and without a second thought, rush in where even demons do not tread, to impose democracy so that american tourists can feel “safe”? What do you expect to happen when we blindly and without even questioning the morality, stomp in and CRUSH the fragile societies we have invaded..all with a crooked smile that says MANIFEST DESINY. What the fuck is “manifest destiny”???? You actually believe God approves of our arrogance?? Well, this is the logical CONSEQUENCE of said action. One plus two is ALWAYS three. Not thirteen. But, no we think we can buy our way out of history’s harsh and unforgiving glare. Why do we think that we are exempt? Foolish and pathetic. Why would a college man go off to fight another man’s war? Why would anyone buy into the mentality that “well, we are americans, by gawd! and we WILL bring you our way of life, like it or not”, but then we complain when the unavoidable repurcussions hit. And we point the finger at other nations, never seeing our own abysmal shortcomings. UNREDEEMABLE, because we refuse to learn.

  9. Igby Mac says:

Sorry to read you are just getting upset about this injustice now.

I have been saying it repeatedly for decades — representative democracy of the people is for the people’s interests; people are the ONLY stakeholders in the game; only these stakeholders should be able to finance political parties or politicians; due to the fiscal imbalance between these stakeholders, the contribution should be limited to something within everyone’s grasp, like $100 maximum. This way the people influence the outcome of the election, and the politicians must garner favour from the people. It really is that simple.

Then again, the wealthy elite are never going to let us shmucks vote away their land/money/influence.

  10. R Harris says:

In a sense you are all correct. This is about communism. I know its an ugly word and no one believes it, but trust me. I am also a veteran and I have been around the world twice. The Financial structure today in the banking system mixed with government is that of a communist society.Yes we have capitalism in the stock market, but we are ruled by a communist regime. before you slam me go read about the financial communist system and then read how the fed takes its cut.. then come back and tell me it isnt a communist financial system.

  11. ann says:

I agree with you vehemently. For God’s sake, I hope a coporation is not a person

We need a concerted effort to fight this. I believe you can call the supreme court at 202-479-3000 and EXPRESS YOUR DISPLEASURE AND FEAR OF THIS DECISION.

  12. Mari Carroll says:

    Mr. Duff,

I am horrified that a U.S. veteran would voice this opinion about the recent ruling by the Supreme Court. You are very misinformed and do the Justices, the Constitution and U.S. citizens a disservice. The decision upheld the First Amendment and freedom of speech. I hope you and your readers will read this article for your edification. http://www.cato.org/pub_display.php?pub_id=11159

    • Gordon Duff says:

I am horrified that someone would be so utterly unfamiliar with our Constitution and the obvious antiAmerican bias of the Cato Insititute to attempt to foist such unsound and unfounded blither on anyone.

Our constitution has nothing regarding allowing foreign dictators to form corporations and buy power in our government.

If yours does, perhaps you might want to rethink who, exactly, you believe you are loyal to.

      g

    • Bob Denton says:

      Ms. Carroll,

I am horrified that you don’t seem to understand that the so-called “strict constructionist” judges on the SCOTUS were the ones that found in favor of Citizens United, overruling a prior court’s ruling, and thus legislating from the bench (something they supposedly oppose). In addition, the court further affirmed with this ruling that corporations are to be viewed as “persons”, to which the 1st Amendment applies, by strict constitutional interpretation. Yet they are not subject to the same laws a any other “individual” (e.g. a corporation can’t be tried and sentenced to prison for manslaughter, even if they HAVE killed someone accidentally).

      You are an idiot.

Should films and commercials aimed at a candidate airing within 30 days of a primary election be illegal; yes or no?

    • Gordon Duff says:

According to a Wikipedia edit done by the Federalist Society. Work on your scholarship and leave the internet for dating.

  17. JMo says:

Should films and commercials aimed at a candidate airing within 30 days of a primary election be illegal; yes or no?

    • Gordon Duff says:

Madison was a Federalist. The “Federalist Society”…an extreme right wing group presents Madison as primary author of the Constitution. However, detailed research by historian Charles A Beard debunked that long ago.

“In the tenth number of The Federalist, Mr. Madison argued in a philosophic vein in support of the proposition that it was necessary to base the political system on the actual conditions of “natural inequality.” Uniformity of interests throughout the state, he contended, was impossible on account of the diversity in the faculties of men, from which the rights of property originated; the protection of these faculties was the first object of government; from the protection of different and unequal faculties of acquiring property the possession of different degrees and kinds of property immediately resulted; from the influence of these on the sentiments and views of the respective proprietors ensued a division of society into different interests and parties; the unequal distribution of wealth inevitably led to a clash of interests in which the majority was liable to carry out its policies at the expense of the minority; hence, he added, in concluding this splendid piece of logic, “the majority, having such coexistent passion or interest, must be rendered by their number and local situation unable to concert and carry into effect schemes of oppression”; and in his opinion, it was the great merit of the newly framed Constitution that it secured the rights of the minority against “the superior force of an interested and overbearing majority.”

Madison contended strongly that a democratic electorate had to remain subserviant to those of “superior breeding” and financial capability.

The current failure of our government can be traced to those influences. Though Madison was framer of the Virginia Plan, crediting him for the Constitution, a document that had no Bill of Rights and lacked the 27 Ammendments it now has, is not a kindness.

      • JMo says:

Even Madison hated the title Father of the Constitution. It was obviously the work of many men, although he was the one crafted the initial draft, which was changed heavily.

But, should films and commercials aimed at a candidate airing within 30 days of a primary election be illegal; yes or no?

  18. JMo says:

Interesting you throw AIPAC in there. They seem to have taken over the proverbial “boogie man” position from the Carlyle Group.

    Justice Alito Was Right

    By Judge Andrew P. Napolitano

    – FOXNews.com

Despite claims made by the president, last week’s Supreme Court opinion on campaign finance specifically excludes foreign nationals and foreign-owned corporations from its ruling.

The Supreme Court issued a ruling last week on the campaign finance that is still being discussed all over the country. In fact, it was even mentioned by President Obama at Wednesday night’s State of the Union address. The high court invalidated its own 20-year-old ruling — which had upheld a one hundred-year-old statute on group political contributions — and it also invalidated a portion of the McCain-Feingold Campaign finance law.

The 20-year-old ruling had forbidden any political spending by groups such as corporations, labor unions, and advocacy organizations (like the NRA and Planned Parenthood, for example). Ruling that all persons, individually and in groups, have the same unfettered free speech rights, the court blasted Congress for suppression of that speech. In effect, the court asked, “What part of ‘Congress shall make no law…abridging the freedom of speech’ does Congress not understand?” Thus, all groups of two or more persons are free to spend their own money on any political campaigns and to mention the names of the candidates in their materials.

On Wednesday night, during his State of the Union address, the president attacked this decision by arguing that the ruling permits foreign nationals and foreign corporations to spend money on American campaigns. When he said this, Justice Samuel Alito, who was seated just 15 feet from the president, gently whispered: “That’s not true.” Justice Alito was right. The Supreme Court opinion, which is 183 pages in length, specifically excludes foreign nationals and foreign-owned corporations from its ruling. So the president, the former professor of law at the one of the country’s best law schools, either did not read the opinion, or was misrepresenting it.

Judge Andrew Napolitano – Fox New Channel’s senior judicial analyst.

  23. Andyj says:

Gordon Duff is absolutely spot on. Anyone who disagrees with him knows nothing of any law. The “person” is the legal entity that the court needs to place a label on the “man”. Thinking otherwise you will surely fail in court.

Here in the UK a statute is defined as: “A legislative rule of society given the force of Law by consent of the governed”.

Yes, you heard it, BY CONSENT OF THE GOVERNED! In legal terms, if you have been stopped by the police for any law that is not “Common law”, then you are told (haha!) to give out your identity. This identity is your legal person. Without your consent the Common law of breaking a contract cannot be LAWFULLY (I did NOT say “legally”) enforced.

Common law is the law over man where no person can stand between the man and God. This LAW covers murder, theft and loss. Loss and theft give statutes(contracts) the force of LAW. A statute is a legal document, not law in itself.

    Here’s more clarification:
I have my own business registered from my name. Its a legal “person”. The work I do pays this “person” instead so my remuneration to this work is a low pay plus dividends… Off this other “person”. This way I pay very little tax. If my business folds. This legal “person” becomes nothing. I myself will have no debts but retain this legal “persons” money due to my entitlement.

I recommend everyone here become business “persons”. Make a mockery of the donkeys if they wish to make legal entities above the law. But don’t step into the fire if you haven’t got cast iron legs.

  24. john powell says:

The founding fathers set up a system of checks and balances. This decision supports that system. I’m not arguing I favor the result or, in fact, any of the above comments. But it’s now back to Congress to pass a new campaign reform package to address both this and other issues. That’s the way the system works. For a change it did work in favor of free speech, even if corporations will get their way for a while. Better that than government implementing more rules, regulations and laws to restrain free speech. “A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.” Thomas Jefferson That includes the right to free speech.

  25. Texasfor56 says:

I suggest you read the 180 page opinion. You have several statements in your article that are not exactly true. This does not give free reign to foreign controlled corporations to give money to the political campaigns.

However, if you are truly concerned about this particular focus – regarding inappropriate contributitions to campaigns…I suggest you look at the funding behind a few of the progressives and conservatives. Several middle eastern, wealthy people have given substantially to campaigns for decades. OR let’s take a look at the fact that the unions have contributed massive amounts to the current administration.

My premise is the problem is huge and we cannot attribute the statements you made as being accurate about the judges. I read the 180 page opinion. It appears your statements are based on the speech the President made, and that was not accurate – apparently he did not read it either. This is my opinion based on the rendered opinion by the judges.

    • Gordon Duff says:

      Dear nameless texas for something:

Your statements are inaccurate. Nothing in the Supreme Court opinion outlaws total intransparency for corporations. Your assertions are totally false. Any dictator or terrorist can own a US corporation. I own portions of hundreds of corporations and only have voting rights for about 20%. What, exactly is it that you do? I hope it isn’t in law, banking or finance.

  26. Paul says:

    Gordon-

You are a guiding light in these mysterious times.

  27. babs says:

I pray that these justices are brought up on TREASON charges as they have NOT decided this case on behalf of THE PEOPLE who they were supposed to protect the interest of. They have given corporations double the voting power of any single voter. Now the corporations can vote individually and on a whole as a “person” and that is definitely wrong. Corporations are not born, do not breathe, do not walk, talk, or have any other people skills. It is a farce to even THINK that a corporation should be labeled a PERSON. Alito knows this and all the other conservatives implants from the Bush and Reagan administrations. They were put there just for this reason and the criminals who put them there should also be tried for their crimes.

  28. Sovereign Citizen says:

    Mr. Duff:

Nice article, but there are some key points that need clarification… The constitution does cover the concept of FICTIONAL CHARACTERS, Admiralty LAW, jurisdiction and other topics.

Namely definitions, spelling of words and the implied meaning. After a thorough review of the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution and Amendments, it is clear to see that the authors of the documents used very specific words they had very specific meanings. There is a very important distinction between an unabridged dictionary and the Blacks Law Dictionary (Version 9). You have to ask yourself why would two different dictionaries be required to define the same word…?

The reason is because the words have a different meaning in a legal context. Words such as:
    US Citizen
    Citizen
    citizen
    jurisdiction
    Person
    States
    Sovereignty

The supreme court ruling is about SOVEREIGNTY and FICTIONAL CHARACTERS under which they can engage in Commerce, under admiralty law.

    Person:
A corporation treated as having the rights and obligations of a person. Counties and cities can be treated as a person in the same manner as a corporation.

Read the words carefully, they have a specific meaning and context. The age old adage “Ignorance of the LAW is no excuse” has a very specific meaning. Namely that we have been duped because we do not recognize the definitions and what they truly mean…?

The Declaration of Independence gave man sovereignty under GOD. The Constitution took it back and put man under the jurisdiction of the corporation known as the United States.

  29. Jon Weiss says:

Well, well, where do I start?

Mr. Duff, your premise is totally incorrect, and your “facts” are largely false. While the SCOTUS did declare that a “corporation” has free speech rights it did not declare them to be “a person”. But corporations are made up of “persons”. The SCOTUS did NOT abslove corporations from the limitations you ascribe to their actions so that part of your editorial is a flat out lie.

The ruling also specifically prohibits foreign controlled corporations from donating to U.S. election campaigns

Your assertion that corporations need nothing that humans need brings into question your sanity, since these corporations are made up of people. I suggest you start a business, then withdraw all human factors from the equation including yourself then let us know how successful your business becomes?

You are correct that corporations are not listed in the Constitution, but then neither are lobbyists, perhaps it is time that they be banned from existence in the halls of Washington as well. Then there are the Unions, they too need to be excluded from politics, as do the staffs of the elected officials. Jefferson had slaves, but no staff, perhaps it is time that we return to those times (of no staffs, I do not endorse slavery).

One one level in this I am in complete agreement with you, I do not like the idea of more money in politics, but I do not agree that the rights of corporations or anyone be abridged merely because you disagree with them. I have always felt that the right answer is politics financed by donations from supporters, individual supporters, not “bundlers”, not unions, but individual citizens, and these should have caps.

I often wonder how the left wing of politics reconciles the two diametrically opposed positions that say “we can’t allow foreign corporations to influence our elections” but turn a blind eye to actions of politicians who blatantly take $200,000.00 contributions from Chinese immigrants with $30,000.00 a year incomes?

In your diatribe you rail against foreign interests who would attack out basic liberties but then you also claim that the “neocons” are responsible, yet all of the liberties you cite are the very ones that the Democrats in Congress have been attacking for the past 30 years.

“When a corporation commits a crime, nobody goes to jail.”

You may want to take that argument up with Michael Kopper, Andrew Fastow, Kenneth Lay, Michael Koenig, and Jeffrey Skilling, all of whom were issued jail sentences for the Enron crimes, but then Ken Lay ducked his jail term by dying (How rude of him).

You commented against ““bail outs” or fat contracts or special laws”, while corporations sometimes do get these things, it is BOTH parties that are guilty. There has been much “hay” made over G.H.W. Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld and their ties to Halliburton, but it was Bill Clinton who actually expanded Halliburton’s support role for the military during Clinton’s famous “reduction in government”, which chopped 60,000 troops from the active force and transferred their jobs of Base Service Support to the civilian sector, aka Halliburton/KBR.

In all of your railings one thing that seems to have totally escaped you, that is that THE PEOPLE, not foreign corporations, or foreign nationals or cartels, VOTE. If you are a person swayed by cash, that is your failing and the same goes for others. As for myself, I vote for the candidate that most closely adheres to my ideals. No Candidate is be any means perfect and I will never agree on all things with all people, but we do what we can to get as close as possible. People vote in good people at times and bad people in others. Our current President is an example of the latter, but he too is only temporary, as are the Judges you criticize. Also the ruling is likewise temporary, since, even SCOTUS rulings get re looked from time to time. Want evidence? Simply look at the Heller Decision. The SCOTUS ruled in that decision that gun ownership is an individual right, yet the debate goes on and cases are even now being prepared to challenge “Heller”, as always the United States is “The Great Experiment” and the experiment continues…

    • Gordon Duff says:

      John,

You knowledge of corporate law and governance is sorely lacking. Just because a corp has a US mailing address and registered agent, doesn’t mean it is American. Try sending a corporation to war? Cut one, does it bleed?

You also seem to not know that Haliburton is a foreign corporation, registered in the Cayman Islands. They did this so they could continue drilling for oil in Iran.

Your talk about the “left” is equally bereft of judgement. With media controlled by “corporations” mostly under direct or indirect control from Israel, a country increasingly a clear threat to the United States, for those who choose to look at the facts, not the corporate news, every bit of misinformation you are dealing with seems to have originated from something less than the rational.

You sound like someone who gets sound bites from Fox News and has tried to build a philosophy around it.

Your thinking is unsound and not based in reality.

Hundreds of thousands of servicemen were exposed to asbestos over decades, especially during the period from 1940 to 1980. Asbestos was used in construction of naval vessels as well as shore facilities. All branches of the military used asbestos, which was also widely used in civilian applications. Asbestos can cause mesothelioma. Because this cancer has a particularly long latency period, many servicemen who were exposed years ago are now developing this disease. - Mesothelioma Patient & Family Resources: Mesotheliomahelp is provided by Belluck & Fox, LLP as a comprehensive resource for mesothelioma victims and their families.  The site provides up-to-date information on the latest news and treatment options as well as an easy to use search feature to find local mesothelioma doctors and health care clinics.  - We fight for veterans harmed by asbestos: Veterans with mesothelioma or asbestos-related lung cancer should know they have options: the opportunity to bring a suit against manufacturers and sellers of the asbestos that caused their illness. If you were harmed by asbestos exposure, for example, in ships or military housing, contact Weitz & Luxenberg to get a free case review. - Important Information for Veterans: Asbestos products were often used on military ships and within military housing, and Veterans may have been exposed. Previous exposure to asbestos is the only known cause of mesothelioma, a fatal cancer that has no cure and affects countless Veterans and loved ones.
