This is great news for a few. However, they are missing a lot of units. I served onboard, USS APL-5. I reported in August of 1967 and transfer to NAVSUPPACT at Danang, March 1968. However, I will just file a claim with documents and see what happen.

Southerland sailors drank and bathed in JP5 during 1971 WestPac cruise due to evaporators taking up JP5 from onboard leaking JP5 tank just forward of Engineering berthing compartment. Also navigated Cambodian inland waters this same cruise. Good luck mates!!

I'm in the process of filling a claim with the va i servied aboard the uss whiteriver lsmr 536 from jan 1969 to december 69 and now for 3 or 4 years and have parkinson which was added to the list due to possible agent orange. also my ship is on the list of those affected by the spraying.you would think with all this i would have benefit and compensation in know time but no i expect the va will drag in on for years till the vietnam vet die off but they don't know me and my wife were in this for the long run and will never lose faith and never give up

The market time patrol's were all small ships ARS's ATF's ASR's MSO's... They also supported MSO's Sweeping the rivers (I think ).

The USS Buck (DD761) Also sailed up, and did gunfire support, one of the rivers. We purified and drank the river water. Please add the USS Buck to the list.

I do not see the U.S.S. Davidson DE1045 or the U.S.S. Southerland DD743 Listed. We provided N.G.F.S. everyday but Sunday when we took on more supplies.

I am helping my Dad with his VA claim, and his ship is not listed, however, he was exposed to agent orange almost constantly. He has already been denied once, thought this new ruling would help, but now I don't even see his ship on the list! He is running out of time. I guess that's what they are expecting. USNS Corpus Christi Bay

I also served aboard the oxford agtr-1, from Jan. 1968 to March 1969, It will take some time before all the ships get listed for agent orange exposure. I have a claim that I filled on April 1998 and keeps getting denied for one reason or another. I am not going to give up... I will persist...ray bronco

When we think "brown water", include the USCG. Their service in Vietnam is often ignored.

I think more ships will be listed. Spent 13 months on a minesweeper on
patrol off vietnam. We entered NhaTrang, Vungtau, Camranh Bay (2 or 3 days
on a search mission for downed aircraft). Also was on LPA that loaded 1575
marines in Danang summer of 69 and brought them to San Diego. I think it
will be hard for anyone to deny that ships which did not operate directly
in the delta, were not affected by agent orange, especially those who
operated within coastal waters.

The D.V.A. should represent all Vets. not a select view. I was stationed aboard the U.S.S. Oxford (AGTR-1) which received the Meritorious Unit Commendation, from the Chief of Naval Operations for service in Vietnam. Thanks for your support D.V.A./V.A. But the U.S.S. Oxford does not appear on your list.
