The 1st Annual Alaskan Veterans Halibut Fishing Tournament
The First Annual Alaskan Veterans Halibut Fishing Tournament is going to be held 21 May 2010.
The 1st Annual Alaskan Veterans Halibut Fishing Tournament is open to all Active, Guard, Reserve, Retired and Honorably Separated Veterans of Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
Since I really pounded Alaska in the past few days (jokingly of course) over the state legislature being forced by circumstances to pass a law to keep Alaskans away from their family pets and public animals in any intimate fashion (yuk, yuk), and since I spent a great deal of my Service time in Alaska, I figure that I owe them this kudo.
This would be a great time for Alaskan veterans who have Middle Eastern service to get together, do some fishing and share in some comeraderie.

The idea of this attracted me, for me and my grandsons. Chickenshit, separating Veterans, your just maintaining what has kept Veterans separate for years.
