VETERANS Speak up: Have Your US Representatives/Senators Helped you?
Looks like US Representative Buyer is being looked at in the media. Maybe our C141 pilots from Charleston AFB should get involved. Veterans need to check out this story….http://www.dailykos.com/story/2010/1/26/830294/-C.R.E.W-asks-the-IRS-and-the-Congressional-Ethics-panel-to-look-at-Steve-BuyerR-In-4th
Why have veterans that turned to the Hill with their own representatives in DC for help states have not received helped.

I needed some real help fast. I asked my Congressman to help me and his district representative said they understood what I was asking for twice and said twice that they took that action. I put in writing the problem and what I needed done. STILL, EVEN THOUGH MY CONGRESSMAN TOOK QUICK ACTION… IT WAS NOT THE ACTION WE NEEDED!!!! The Congressman responded in writing of the action they took… but it was not the action that I needed. When pressed for a straight answer…the district representative got all sideways with me.
After waiting for weeks and the results that I trying to avoid happened…
I went to my Senator’s district office and the Senator’s district representative took action and got the right results IMMEDIATELY…
THANK GOODNESS!
The only good that the Congressman did was add another document in my files that I was seeking corrective action of a certain matter. THANKS!
THE NO GOOD PEOPLE IN DC NEED TO BE VOTED OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
would the va be in the shape that it is if congress gave a shit! get real! it is about them, not the veteran.
When I asked Sen. Brown on the Veterans Com. why he was not working on getting Dential extended to all Veterans he stated that he thought it was a good item and if somebody brought it up he might vote on it. This same Senator helped to pass a bill to allow another Senator to get a new hospital so he would vote on the health bill but something for the Vets, forget it. I agree with the previous comment, vote all in Congress now out on the next vote in their state.
