Steps that have led other nations blindly into a totalitarian gov/dictatorship:

Create a threat, establish secret prisons, have so many ‘private security elements’… maybe even… some with knowledge of sensitive Intel… that a paramilitary force can become available to the highest bidder… conduct surveillance on ordinary citizens, infiltrate into citizens’ groups, (might want to look up the gov.s Lexicon for Domestic Terrorists)…. allow the gov. to be able to arbitrarily detain and release citizens, target key individuals, restrict the press, cast criticism as “Espionage” and Dissent as “Treason”, subvert the Rule of Law.

(And really… how come it seems that the majority of Americans are not Outraged about being led into a war with false Intel?)
