Game Changing Technology Allows Employers and Veterans to Communicate as if at a Live Career Fair, but over the Net

Milicruit.com is pleased to announce the inaugural virtual career fair for veterans and military spouses. Unlike traditional career fairs that require travel, and only allow for a few moments of interaction between the recruiter and the candidate, the Milicruit event lasts for an entire month, and veterans can participate from the comfort and convenience of home.

The event goes live on April 29th and is open to all military personnel who may be in the market for a new career opportunity. Interested veterans should register at http://www.veteranscareerfair.com and build their profile for the groundbreaking event.
“Unemployment amongst veterans returning from active duty is at an alarmingly high rate, and we aim to do all we can to correct that. These brave men and women have sacrificed long and hard enough to protect our way of life, and it is high time we do what we can to help them re-enter civilian life” says Kevin O’Brien, CEO Milicruit

Several Industry leading employers have signed on to participate such as: GE, Ryder, Verizon, Booz-Allen-Hamilton, Amazon, 3M, Wellpoint, Comerica, Navair, TCF Bank, Stryker, CDW, CACI, Navy Exchange, Sutherland Global and dozens more

Employers have 26 different booth styles to choose from, and all virtual booths are customized to the employer’s colors and culture. Each booth can include: Videos, Presentations, Jobs, Chat, and even video interviewing. The event is limited to 75 employers, and interested employers should contact Milicruit this week if they have an interest in the inaugural event.

“The focus of Milicruit will be to change the way organizations recruit veteran talent, and to demonstrate just how effective virtual career fair technology can be in your initial contacts with potential candidates” states O’Brien

The event will prove to be valuable to all veterans, but especially to those who have been injured or who may be disabled. With the event being online, anyone with a computer can interact as if in person. Often times, career fairs are difficult to not only get to for a person with a disability, but to also navigate when they get there given the long lines and crowds
