National Experts coming to Denver to Build Bridges at the National Brain Injury Employment Conference

Traumatic Brain Injury The 4th annual National Brain Injury Employment Conference is a unique forum that brings together all the stakeholders in the brain injury and employment fields in the Denver area. Register today for an interactive and inspirational two days of learning and networking.

This conference is your opportunity to build bridges to organizations from around the country, hear nationally recognized speakers and explore regional and national resources.  CRC and CEU credits will be offered. 

National disability experts Dinah F. B. Cohen and Dr. Janet Niemeier are featured speakers. Cohen is the Director for the Department of Defense Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP).

Dr. Niemeier is the Director of Inpatient Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Psychology at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System and the author of several books focusing on brain injury, including Choosing, Finding and Keeping a Job after Brain Injury.

  1. Geez, John. The 4th annual already? The first three (3) didn’t do squat that I know about. For decades, I’ve gad to hide my service connected TBI or I would have starved to death. We Veteran taxpayers might as well pay for another one. Maybe in 100 years and the 100th annual conference somebody (scientist?) will get a clue from the obvious.

    • BTW, if the DADT people think they have a problem — they have NO issues compared to the brain injured, unless the DADT people are also Vets put in serious harms way. It shows the value of lobby power. The trouble is, most of us TBI and PTSD Vets are either laying in a remote bed or can’t keep two sentences in a row together. The Government and VA are praying this continues until we die.
