The Israeli military has been busy spinning the story of their attack on a civilian convoy trying to deliver aid to the imprisoned people of Gaza.
They’ve had a head start, sending out edited videos, posting ‘supposed’ military footage of the passengers attacking them, saying that they confiscated weapons which turned out to be marbles, sling shots, kitchen knives and aluminum chairs.
But they can’t spin for much longer. Video footage from dozens of people is beginning to surface about what really happened. Al Jazeera has posted their coverage as gun shots sound in the background, speakers beg the passengers to go below and a white flag is set out for the paramilitary groups. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pn-l_JltCB4
More will come out as passengers are released. We already know that Israel shot the captain of the Marmara and the European Campaign boat, maybe hoping that we would no longer be able to hire captains. Several activists have spoken to their Consulates and told of being kicked, beaten, dragged along the ground, tear gassed and bags thrown over their heads.
Knowing that video of this vicious attack in international waters was going to surface, Captain Aria Shaliker of the Israel Defense Forces, who was part of the operation on Monday, said the commandos began the raids armed with paint ball guns. “I was, myself, on one of the boats, the Israeli boats, approaching the flotilla,” he told the BBC’s World Today programme. “It is true that the Israeli commander unit… came on board with paint ball weapons… in order to disperse people.
No mention of paint-stained clothing.
As Israel’s hysteria mounts, “they now claim “self defense” in attacking ships in international waters today, killing 9. Israel informed the US and Britain that the convoy was ferrying stolen nuclear weapons that would be used for a terrorist attack on Israel. The “stolen nukes” have been in Israel for 18 years while the US has spent billions of dollars and thousands of lives looking for them. Today 9 more died”
The world is watching a county imploding, having a massive nervous breakdown in full view. It’s tragic that thousands of Palestinians have died and 9 human rights workers lost their lives yesterday.

US veteran on board ‘Liberty’ was flotilla passenger
Man who served on ship bombed by Israel during 1967 war is missing in aftermath of flotilla clashes

A US Navy veteran who was on board the USS Liberty, which Israel attacked during the Six Day War, is now missing after taking part in the conflict-ridden flotilla, US news agencies reported Tuesday.
Sixty-three year-old Joe Miduras, of the Texas town of Corpus Christi, has not yet made contact with his wife, Jean. She has so far remained unconcerned, however, saying she didn’t think he had been hurt.

In other news, an extensive investigation into numerous, gruesome murders of young women in London’s East End had been concluded.
The Special Prosecutor appointed to investigate these crimes, Jack Ripper said he has found no evidence of wrongdoing, the women appear to have slit their own throats in some kind of bizarre act of self-mutilation.
Weapons, a rifle scope, bullet-proof vests, military nightvision scopes and other illegal contraband was found on the one ship that started the violence. All other ships complied and there wasn’t resistance or violence.
How many people are the “activists” claiming were shot now? The initial report of 19 was an outright lie, the next report of 10 dead was also a blatant lie. Why aren’t they releasing names either? When they do release the names, we will easily be able to connect the dots to the terrorist groups. The flotilla mob is covering up a lot of lies.
Just like those reports from Arab media claiming that a Gazan boy was killed a few months ago until he turned up alive and well in Egypt.
The balls shot from the paintball gun are filled with pepper spray. The police here in the US have them as well for riot control. Where is thue investigative reporting on this? Amy Goodman is pathetic.
If it was Iran that attacked a humanitarian aid ship, it would be all over the news and declared an act of war. Israel however, seems to always get the benefit of the doubt. All of us need to make sure this changes and Israel is seen as what it truly is, a pathetic little state that deserves it’s kharma. The U.S. has got to sever this ‘special relationship’ it has with Israel and stop the financial aid. They have their own nuclear weapons, they do not need us and we certainly do not need them!
