PRESS TV: International Lawyer Franklin Lamb on Gaza Peace Flotilla Legal Rights
CRIMINAL AND CIVIL CASES MAY BE FILED AGAINST ISRAEL
FOR THE FLOTILLA ATTACK SAYS TOP INTERNATIONAL LAWYER
Dr. Franklin Lamb says that the Gaza flotilla survivors can certainly take legal action in their own countries. The family of the American who was murdered can sue Israel under the Federal Tort Claims Act – this will allow the family to use American Federal Court.
He added, cases may be brought against Israel for murder, assault and battery, malicious destruction of property, for conversion of personal property, hijacking, unlawfully arresting people and Israeli property may even be attached by a prejudgment attachment.
