Guess Who Wants to Kill the Internet?

It would be hard to think of anyone who has done more to undermine American freedoms than Joseph Lieberman.
Since 9/11, the Independent senator from Connecticut has introduced a raft of legislation in the name of the “global war on terror” which has steadily eroded constitutional rights. If the United States looks increasingly like a police state, Senator Lieberman has to take much of the credit for it.
On October 11, 2001, exactly one month after 9/11, Lieberman introduced S. 1534, a bill to establish a Department of Homeland Security. Since then, he has been the main mover behind such draconian legislation as the Protect America Act of 2007, the Enemy Belligerent, Interrogation, Detention, and Prosecution Act of 2010, and the proposed Terrorist Expatriation Act, which would revoke the citizenship of Americans suspected of terrorism. And now the senator from Connecticut wants to kill the Internet.
According to the bill he recently proposed in the Senate, the entire global internet is to be claimed as a “national asset” of the United States. If Congress passes the bill, the US President would be given the power to “kill” the internet in the event of a “national cyber-emergency.” Supporters of the legislation say this is necessary to prevent a “cyber 9/11” – yet another myth from the fearmongers who brought us tales of “Iraqi WMD” and “Iranian nukes.”
Lieberman’s concerns about the internet are not new. The United States Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, which Lieberman chairs, released a report in 2008 titled “Violent Islamist Extremism, The Internet, and the Homegrown Terrorist Threat.” The report claimed that groups like al-Qaeda use the internet to indoctrinate and recruit members, and to communicate with each other.
Immediately after the report was published, Lieberman asked Google, the parent company of You Tube, to “immediately remove content produced by Islamist terrorist organizations.” That might sound like a reasonable request. However, as far as Lieberman is concerned, Hamas, Hezbollah and even the Iranian Revolutionary Guard are terrorist organizations.
It’s hardly surprising that Lieberman’s views on what constitute terrorism parallel those of Tel Aviv. As Mark Vogel, chairman of the largest pro-Israel Political Action Committee (PAC) in the United States, once said:
“Joe Lieberman, without exception, no conditions … is the No. 1 pro-Israel advocate and leader in Congress. There is nobody who does more on behalf of Israel than Joe Lieberman.”
Lieberman has been well-rewarded for his patriotism – to another country. In the past six years, he has been the Senate’s top recipient of political contributions from pro-Israel PACs with a staggering $1,226,956.
But what is it that bothers Lieberman so much about the internet? Could it be that it allows ordinary Americans access to facts which reveal exactly what kind of “friend” Israel has been to its overgenerous benefactor? Facts which they have been denied by the pro-Israel mainstream media.
How much faith would American voters have in the likes of Lieberman, who claims that the Jewish state is their greatest ally, if they knew that Israeli agents planted firebombs in American installations in Egypt in 1954 in an attempt to undermine relations between Nasser and the United States; that Israel murdered 34 American servicemen in a deliberate attack on the USS Liberty on June 8, 1967; that Israeli espionage, most notably Jonathan Pollard’s spying, has done tremendous damage to American interests; that five Mossad agents were filming and celebrating as the Twin Towers collapsed on September 11, 2001; that Tel Aviv and its accomplices in Washington were the source of the false pre-war intelligence on Iraq; and about countless other examples of treachery?
In his latest attempt to censor the internet, does Lieberman really want to protect the American people from imaginary cyber-terrorists? Or is he just trying to protect his treasonous cronies from the American people?

Great, timely article, and thanks. The Internet will be the last piece of the puzzle to fall into place, giving Zionists control over every aspect of public discourse by controlling Internet content. This will constitute one of the greatest forms of tyranny ever known to man, that his very thoughts about the world around him will now be scripted by overlords in this country and Tel Aviv.
Today the average college-educated American who fancies himself well-informed doesn’t even know who the authors of his own thoughts are. Emulating TVs clever talk, or repartee, is the standard form of social discourse among adults, while our children ape the vile and vicious talk scripted for them on children’s TV. The insolence characteristic of network news will now engulf the Internet, smothering freedom more surely than occupation by hostile forces. As Spengler pointed out nearly a hundred years ago, man does not speak to man, but the media “keep the waking consciousness of whole peoples and continents under a deafening drum-fire of theses, catchwords, standpoints, scenes, feelings, day after day and year by year, so that every Ego becomes a mere function of a monstrous intellectual Something….” That “monstrous intellectual Something” that the average citizen is a mere function of is now coming into focus and Joe Lieberman is its spokesman. Already, hyper-paranoia drives these sociopaths to barrage Internet sites, flood Amazon reviews with attacks on books never read, jam sites, and petition ISPs, Google, Yahoo, etc., to stop the truth from getting out at any cost. Imagine these same paranoid sociopaths given complete censorship over the Internet. It’s coming if Joe Lieberman gets his way, and if Elena Kagan gets hers, free speech deemed “harmful”–the truth, that is–will be criminalized and no longer guaranteed by the First Amendment.
Already, both ends of the political spectrum in the mainstream media, left and right, are Zionist propaganda machines, making the Internet the real voice of mainstream America. Freedom of speech on the Internet, therefore, cannot stand, and if the the Patriot Act and other abrogations of our basic Constitutional rights are any guide, it will not. Watching the Quislings on Fox News like Hannity and O’Reilly makes it clear there is no voice of conservatism except on the Internet, and here I’m talking about conservatism in the sense of conserving basic American values, and not the corporatism, hedonism, and materialism preached by them and the likes of Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Emmett Tyrrell, Newt Gingrich, and the rest, who are tolerated in any case only for their goose-stepping loyalty to a foreign nation.
Loyalty to Israel is the sine qua non of public office and of legitimacy in public discourse. It doesn’t matter that the points the author of this article makes are irrefutable–these people need not respond. To paraphrase Lenin, Why should we reply? We’ll just proclaim so-and-so’s an enemy of Israel, and everyone will understand everything. To quote Spengler again, “The [citizen] neither knows, nor is allowed to know, the purposes for which he is used, nor even the role that he is to play. A more appalling caricature of freedom of thought cannot be imagined. Formerly a man did not dare to think freely; now he dares, but cannot. His willingness to think is only a willingness to think to order, and this is what he feels as his liberty.” Today, the situation is immeasurably worse as the products of public school indoctrination sit before their giant flat-screen TVs while others do their thinking for them in a give and take formula giving the subject the impression he is thinking for himself. Spengler said that a “more appalling caricature of freedom of thought cannot be imagined,” but with censorship of the Internet in the hands of the likes of Joe Lieberman, it can not only be imagined, it will become the law of the land, and the light of freedom that once gave the entire world hope will be extinguished
Lieberman would have made Adolf Schickelgruber proud.
How ironic that of all members of the senate, it’s a Jewish one whose outlook is closest to a Nazi’s.

Jewish Zionists are loosing millions of dollars every year by owning newspapers, magazines, television stations etc. in order to keep the truth about Israel hidden from Americans. The Internet has got be a huge concern for them. Also, Jewish Zionists control most of the 911 web sites but still the 911/Mossad connection is gathering a larger audience.
I also believe this legislation could be a sign that another major Israeli false flag on American soil is coming. If the Mossad explode a small nuclear bomb or dirty bomb in the United States to blame Iran or perhaps Hamas with Iranian involvement they don’t want people at Veterans Today and other websites writing “It wasn’t Muslims, it was our enemy the Israeli government!” Also, if they shut down the Internet it could severely damage our economy.
The false flag against Hamas may be the preferred choice. That way Palestine gets destroyed in retribution and it gets emptied due to we can’t allow Hamas to have a safe haven to plan more attacks against the USA, thus Israel finally gets all of Palestine. Israel will provide phony evidence that Iran was involved so Israeli controlled USA government will destroy Iran and install a puppet leader that Israel can control through the United States. Something wicked this way comes; the Israeli government. It’s time to move to North Korea! Oh my.
Senator Susan Collins of Maine a ideologue groupie of Lieberman and also is on board the good bye freedoms train. How the electorate in Maine elected this woman is amazing, and depressing.
The proposed ‘Expatriation Act’ applies fully to traitor Joe Lieberman. No ‘terrorist’ has done as much and in such a short time to harm-destruct the legal-ethical foundations of democracy-decency in the USA as lieberman-Horowitz-Wolfowitz-Daniel Pipes and AIPAC-PAC-ADL, all in accord with the Zion Talmudic Mafia Agenda they have been IMPLEMENTING covertly through decades in the USA-CANADA to enslave and mentally, in a Pavlovian way, terrorize-robotize with restrictive-askheNAZI laws the American People.
Maybe the feds could call the new internet censoring agency the “Government Enforcing State Thought And Political Obediance” Committee. The acronym would be GESTAPO.
Boy, last thing I read – I believe in here- that Obama wanted to have the option to shut down the internet in case of “national emergency”. I said then that Obama could do nothing without the backing of Congress because we don’t have a dictatorship in this country. Now that I know who came up with this idea, it makes sense. Control information and you control the population. Let’s see if anyone has the guts to veto this bill. In fact who was the nitwit who wanted to take away citizenship from American terrorists. As an African American woman, all I’ve ever seen of terrorism in this country was racially based. Don’t remember anyone losing their citizenship.
