OVER 200,000 AMERICAN JEWS TRAINED AND ONLY 4,000 SERVE

According to the Department of Defense, only 4000 Jews serve in the American military. Over 200,000 American Jews have been trained at US expense by the IDF in Israel but only a handful defend Israel in the current wars in the military of the country of their birth, the United States of America. 40% of the world’s Jews live in Israel. 40% of the world’s Jews live in the United States with 2.2 million residing in New York City alone. If any nation has been the homeland of the Jews, it has been the United States.
It is a prerequisite for public service in the United States or command rank in our military to accept protection of Israel as equal to protection of the United States. This is as close to a loyalty oath as the United States has. American soldiers who swear “to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States” also know they are saying “and the State of Israel” without a doubt. Why then, with American in a decade of wars clearly fought to defend Israeli interests if not their security, are American Jews so disinclined toward service to America?
The last war Jews participated in, as American soldiers in any real numbers, was Vietnam. 269 Jews died in Vietnam. Though this was less than one forth of other religious or ethnic groups, statistically, it is endlessly higher than today’s figures, bordering on “nil.” 20% of American troops, by Defense Department figures, are Hispanic, with the majority serving in combat related specialties. There are no “Hispanic related” or “Mexican security” issues in the current Middle East conflicts. What does this tell us?
Phil Shulman of the Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles wrote, in 2003,
“Only some 3,000 out of 1.4 million active duty servicemen and women are Jewish, about two-tenths of one percent. When it comes to Marines, the numbers are even more startling. It’s one out of 1,000. One-tenth of one percent.”
Reasons can be many, as American Jews may be unlikely to accept stories of the 9/11 attack or war on terror as plausible. Still more Jews have complained about the military itself, saying it openly discriminates against Jews. Debra Nussbaum Cohen in The Jewish Daily writes:
Admiral Harold Robinson, a Reform rabbi and director of the Jewish Welfare Board’s Jewish Chaplains Council, “The military is like high school on steroids. Being Jewish doesn’t help you fit in…. Some kid from Alabama says, ‘Jesus loves you; you ought to come to chapel services with us.’ You’re living with 120 other people who know everything about you. Being Jewish can be one more source of pressure or conflict. It’s much better than it was 30 or 40 years ago, but we still have all kinds of incidents where young people act out.”
At the Air Force Academy in 2005, Jewish and Christian students said that evangelical Christian officers were aggressively proselytizing them. An academy graduate filed suit against the Air Force, but the suit was dismissed in 2007.
Rabbi Irving Elson, a Navy captain and chaplain, “Jews in the military are underserved, have largely been ignored by the American Jewish community, and these amazing young men and women need rabbis…of over 900 Navy chaplains, only 8 are Jewish.”
Thus, we are confronted with a conundrum. 85% of the members of congress have signed documents, not only openly supporting Israel, but the majority support an immediate attack on Iran including the use of nuclear weapons on populated areas based on intelligence information from Israel that has proven to be, not only inaccurate but totally falsified. A study of America’s “liberal press” shows, without question, control by the Israel lobby with majority direct ownership of all media holdings in the US in the hands of Israeli citizens or American Jews actively involved with pro-Israel organizations. It must be recognized, however, that a significant number of American Jews, none employed any longer by major media outlets, hold positions counter to those of FOX, CNN, WSJ, Washington Post, ABC, NBC and the dozens of other highly biased organizations.
With American Jews “less than patriotic” and Israel, spoken of as an American ally, technically a misnomer as there are no written agreements with Israel, has the “special relationship” with Israel always been for public consumption only, propaganda, manipulated press, pop culture mythology, all covering “business as usual?”
COMPULSORY MILITARY SERVICE FOR “TRAINED” AMERICAN JEWS?
A possible solution for the obvious inequities in Jewish participation as patriotic Americans would be compulsory service for all IDF trained men and women holding American passports or resident in the United States. The assumption could be made that, as the United States funded their military training, they are the defacto equivalent of National Guard and reserve troops and should be subject to call up. You can’t turn on a TV in America without seeing Jews prominently featured as American soldiers, something statistically inaccurate, in fact, simply propagandization. An accurate depiction of a typical battalion would include one Jew and 200 or more Hispanics. Admittedly, the chances of the Jew being a “stand up comedian” are better than average but the obvious misrepresentations made by the media are pure race prejudice. TV already has every police department in the country run by an African American female.
THE AMERICAN DREAM IS MOSTLY A JEWISH AMERICAN DREAM
Jews used to make up 3% of America’s population. They are now only 1.4% but control well over 40% of America’s wealth. It doesn’t take a genius or a “Smedley Butler” fan to figure out that the root cause of all war is economic gain and that American Jews have gained the most by America’s wars. With our ”volunteer army” increasingly becoming less “volunteer” and more “feudal” in nature with Americas burgeoning population of poor and unemployed, many of them from non-Jewish ethnic minorities becoming “over-represented” among those in combat, those who have benefited most from the American dream, America’s Jewish population, our wealthiest and most powerful sector, also have the most to be thankful for.
American Jews are also the only group with military training, claimed to be the highest quality in the world, who are opting not to serve America during wartime while family after family of poor Americans are being destroyed by endless combat deployments to keep Israeli interests secure.
REFORMING THE AMERICAN MILITARY SO JEWS CAN SERVE WITH RESPECT THEY DESERVE
America’s military claims to be “conservative” politically, especially the officer corps. I would go further and state that the officer corps of the American military is clearly right wing extremist. Though poltical conservatives outside the military are powerful advocates of Zionism and defenders of Israel, there is a nasty duplicity afoot. These same groups that, when they are looking for support from the Jewish controlled press, talk about their loyalty to Israel or their tolerance of Jews, in fact these same groups have been anti-Semites for decades. Anti-Semitism has always been at the root of the Republican party, the same party that, this week, offered a resolution in the House of Representatives, advocating an immediate invasion of Iran.
The officer corps in the American military, how do we describe them in the “post Rumsfeld/Cheney era? What would Admiral Hyman Rickover, father of the nuclear navy, say of them? I shudder to think.
This is insane.
We have two issues here. One obvious one, American Jews care less and less about the United States as time goes on and as Israel has become a safe haven, subject to no real threat from the Arab world. American Jews all know that the continual whining about the safety of Israel is to dupe Americans out of billions in aid, furnishing a socialist welfare state at American taxpayer expense for Jews in Israel. Each year, the Pentagon “stores” billions worth of advanced weapons in Israel, weapons Israel is allowed to sell. We unload them and they load them back up.
The ships seem to have no trouble finding their way to North Korea.
But there is a dark side, despite all the rhetoric about being pro-Israel, real anti-Semites are at the root of America’s right. The Tea Party, secretly financed under the guise of thinly veiled prejudice against African Americans and Hispanics, financed, publicized and guided by “game theory” political experts in the Israel lobby, is at the heart of America’s anti-Semitism. No Israeli is so stupid as to believe that an American “Christian Zionist” who supports Israel because of imagined biblical prophesy actually would live next door to a Jew.
The American military does have a strong representation of “Tea Party” patriots. Nobody can claim they don’t join or that they don’t fight. What they can’t claim is that they love Jews, not by a long shot.
CONSERVATIVE ANTI-SEMITISM IN THE AMERICAN MILITARY
In 2007, Jason Leopoldin broke the story of a 35 year old Rabbi, Canadian born, who “deserted” the US Army after being subjected to bizarre and almost ritualistic anti-Semitism at Fort Stewart, Georgia. Rabbi Goldman claims the army listed him as a deserter in retaliation for demanding prosecution of three Christian Evangelist Chaplains.
According to documents obtained by Truthout, an investigation by the Army Inspector General into Goldman’s claims of anti-Semitism shows that in May 2001, Captain Robert Nay, a Christian chaplain at the Fort Stewart Army base, hung Nazi uniforms and swastikas on the wall of the officers’ club at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Georgia, during a May 23, 2001 interfaith prayer breakfast Goldman was ordered to attend. In an interview, Goldman said seeing the Nazi uniforms did not entirely surprise him. A month earlier, Nay had informed Goldman that he thought it would be “funny” if he dressed up soldiers in the Nazi uniforms on Holocaust Memorial Day, a time when the world memorializes the six million Jews who were slaughtered by the Nazis during World War II.
When contacted for comment, Nay hung up the telephone. A public affairs official at Fort Stewart would not comment for this story, nor would he disclose his name.
The Military Religious Freedom Foundation, headed by Mickey Weinstein, said this of the Goldman case:
Rabbi Goldman’s civil rights were penrniciously raped in a literally mind-boggling, intentional manner. The Army retaliated against him for speaking out. The army refused to lift a finger to address Rabbi Goldman’s complaints despite documentary evidence that supports his claims. And now the Army is going to find itself in a lawsuite our organization will file on behalf of Rabbi Goldman for grossly violating his civil rights.”
In fact, rather than being an isolated incident, incidents like these are typical with chaplains at major military bases such as Fort Levenworth, Kansas, openly teaching anti-Semitic religious doctrine. Rabbi Goldstein was asked to submit to a polygraph examination. The results showed the Rabbi to be totally truthful yet the three “Evangelist” anti-Semites and hundreds more like them are still in control of the Chaplain Corps that ruled military life during the Bush administration.
SATANISTS AND PEDOPHILES, OFFSHOOTS OF THE ARMY’S “CHRISTIAN-NAZI” NEXUS
During the 1980s, at American military facilities such as Offutt Air Force Base, near Omaha, Nebraska, The Presidio (now closed) near San Francisco, Ft. Bragg, home of the JFK Special Warfare Center, North Carolina and Bolling Air Force Base, home of the Defense Intelligence College, near Washington DC, groups with ties to Satanism (Temple of Set), Evangelical Christianity and Nazi occult practices, groups also tied r schools of advanced psychological warfare and special operations were accused of child molestation, kidnapping and a bizarre pattern of ritual abuses.
During the February 5 hearing, Noreen Gosch stunned the court with sworn testimony linking U.S. Army Lt. Col. Michael Aquino (ret., Military Intelligence, U.S. Army, Special orces, Civil Affairs, and Defense Attaché, graduate of the Command and General Staff College, the National Defense Univrersity,the Defense Intelligence College, and the State Departments’ Foreign Service Institute)to the nationwide pedophile ring. Her son, Johnny, then 12 years old, was kidnapped off the streets of West Des Moines, Iowa on September 5, 1982, while he was doing his early-morning newspaper deliveries. “We have investigated, we have talked to so far 35 victims of this said organization that took my son and is responsible for what happened to Paul, and they can verify everything that has happened,” she told the court.
Then, the Aquino bombshell: “Well, then there was a man by the name of Michael Aquino. He was in the military. He had top Pentagon clearances. He was a pedophile. He was a Satanist… continued: “They used these kids to sexually compromise politicians or anyone else they wish to have control of.
ARE JEWS UNPATRIOTIC OR IS OUR MILITARY UNFIT FOR JEWS TO SERVE?
There is no question that Jews are choosing not to serve to protect the United States. There is also a serious question about the political alliance between Israel and the conservative movement in America responsible for anti-Semitism in the military. How do the people of Israel reconcile that their closest allies are also those who also admire Adolf Hitler and his teachings?
Could Israel be an entire nation suffering from “Stockhold syndrome,” a nation that has come to admire the policies and practicies of those who were responsible for the holocaust?
As for American Jews and military service, it is difficult to reconcile sending America’s poor to fight wars in the Middle East when IDF trained Americans shirk military duty en masse. The only answer would be to require service, making IDF membership and US Army reserve membership one in the same. It is also clear that the US Army must deal with its failures to address the needs of Jewish soldiers, when and if this policy can be enacted.

I have it on good authority that Barbara Branden is spending a good portion of her time lately brooding about the Arising menace of anti-Semitism.” Poor Barbara; like all Randians, she is perpetually out of sync. There is indeed a menace in this area, Barbara, but it is precisely the opposite: the cruel despotism of Organized Anti-Anti-Semitism. Wielding the fearsome brand of “Anti-Semite” as a powerful weapon, the professional Anti-Anti-Semite is able, in this day and age, to wound and destroy anyone he disagrees with by implanting this label indelibly in the public mind. How can one argue against this claim, always made with hysteria and insufferable self-righteousness? To reply “I am not an anti-Semite” is as feeble and unconvincing as Richard Nixon’s famous declaration that “I am not a crook.”
So far, Organized Anti-Anti-Semitism has been able to destroy, to drive out of public life, anyone who receives the “anti-Semite” treatment. True, “anti-Semitic” expression is not yet illegal (though it is banned in many Western “democracies,” as well as increasingly – as with other “hate speech” – serving as grounds for expulsion, or at the very least compulsory “reeducation,” on college campuses). But the receiver of the brand is generally deprived of access to organs of influential opinion, and is marginalized out of the centers of public life. At best, the victim of the brand may be driven to abase himself before his persecutors, and, by suitable groveling, apologies, and – most important – the changing of positions of crucial interest to his enemies, he may work his way back into public life – at the expense of course, of self-emasculation. Or, if, by chance, the victim manages to survive the onslaught, he may be induced to exercise due caution and shut up about such issues in the future, which amounts to the same thing. In that way, Organized Anti-Anti-Semitism (OAAS) creates, for itself, a win-win situation.
The major fount of OAAS is the venerable Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith (ADL), the head of what the grand Old Rightist John T. Flynn referred to during World War II as the “Smear Bund.” (Flynn was forced to publish himself his expose of the orchestrated smear of isolationists in his pamphlet, The Smear Terror.) Since the end of World War II, the key strategy of the ADL has been to broaden its definition of anti-Semitism to include any robust criticisms of the State of Israel. Indeed, the ADL and the rest of the OAAS has formed itself into a mighty praetorian guard focusing on Israeli interests and Israeli security.
Ever since August 2, Israel and what Pat Buchanan has brilliantly called its extensive “amen corner” in the United States, has been beating the drums for immediate and total destruction of Iraq, for the toppling of Saddam Hussein, for destruction of Iraqi military capacity, and even for a “MacArthur Regency” to occupy Iraq quasi-permanently. Pat Buchanan has distinguished himself, from the beginning, as the most prominent and persistent critic of the war on Iraq, and as the spokesman for a return to Old Right isolationism now that the Cold War against the Soviet Union and international communism has ended. Hence, it is no accident that the ADL picked the occasion of Buchanan’s hard-hitting critiques of the war hawks to unleash its dossier, to issue and widely circulate a press release smearing Buchanan as anti-Semitic, which was then used as fodder for an extraordinarily extensive press campaign against Buchanan.
When the “Tea Party ” Thought Meme started I was initially very hopeful,
a new Contemporary “Jefferson Populism”.
The radio shows/podcasts I listen to covered some grass roots level
activism , with some African-Americans participating & Hispanics
many of whom have been Americans going back more generations
than I.
I imagined we were going to possibly reverse course.
I didn’t see it as a ” guise of thinly veiled prejudice
against African Americans and Hispanics “,
I thought it was a hopeful desperate opportunity to salvage our
Republic & the future.
It was encouraging to hear Hispanic Americans
call in about the movie “MACHETE” and they
knew it was intended to just mess things up
generate even more Antagonism and to divide up
the People .
African-Americans who
spoke up about how Bush/Obama Republican/Democrat is
all the same.
Then before this social grass roots thought “meme”
had barely begun to take shape, the G.O.P. with
FAKE FOX NEWS and other giant media came in co-opted the whole thing
and destroyed it.

even “told” & “informed” America who their “OFFICIAL TEA PARTY LEADERS”

Interesting article. I have read that if Americans join the military of another country they lose their US citizenship. Oh there is one exception. Is it Iran? No Mexico? No? Canada? No. It’s Israel! Just shows the amazing power the Jewish Zionists have in the United States.
Rahm Emanuel, Obama’s Chief of Staff joined the IDF during the first Gulf War. He did not serve in the US military. He probably got his Mossad training while in the IDf. Does he care more about the interests of Israel than the United States?
If the Jewish Zionists convince or blackmail Obama to attack Iran, oil prices will go very high and the world economy will get crushed and the US stock market and stock markets around the world will get crushed. The Jewish Zionist international bankers and Jewish Zionists on Wall Street will have the money to buy a huge amount of the stock market shares of prominent companies at cheap prices and have further control of the United States and the world. The leaders in Israel will be pleased and will probably also profit from the crushed world economy. However, even without an Iran attack the world economy is going to get crushed in the near future. Debt will be the major factor.
Bernake is giving the banks and Wall Street firms loans with a very close to zero interest rate. They are not using the money to make loans to businesses and citizens. Some believe the money is mainly going into the stock market and derivatives trading.

This article and comments are so full of stereotypes cliches and just plain bull that it does a disservice to veterans and civilians alike, to say nothing of the Jews who have volunteered.
Duffy overlooks the fact that a very high percentage of the
men and women who volunteer for the military come from small towns and rural areas, or from inner cities. Many respond to the recruitment appeals because they cannot get good jobs or they want to get support for college education. I suspect the number of middle class white Christians from the big cities is also disproportionate low.
In short the military recruiters find far more fertile grounds to recruit among the lower income groups and in small southern towns were there is more of a tradition of military service.
This has nothing to do with Israel. It has everything to do with demographics. Young men and women who live in large urban areas and or whose families put a high priority on education and getting on getting a college degree and perhaps even a master’s degree are not as likely to be attracted to the military life as those with fewer options.
As for Brian’s antisemitic twaddle, I know of Americans who served in other armies because they made the mistake of being in their parent’s NATO country when they were of conscription age, and Emanuel was not in the IDF per se but in some volunteer unit where volunteers cleaned tank treads and did other maintenance work.
The hatred in the earlier comments is a disgusting regurgitation of age-old myths.

I have already read that type of ridiculous statement of what Emanuel was doing in Israel. It’s absurd.
Rahm Emanuel did not serve in the Israeli army, but was a civilian volunteer in the IDF for a short time during the 1991 Gulf War with the IDF’s Sar-El program AKA Volunteers for Israel. Its a 3 week tourism based program that lets any civilian volunteer to be the grunts of the grunts for a week. I’ve done it 3 times. I cleaned out oil tanks and storage bins nobody else would go near. It was a fascinating experience to meet the folks on the bases and see what that life is life. You never get near a weapon or do anything of responsibility.
The US should offer such a program for liberal urban elites to learn about our military. Many Jews would participate and get a great intro to military life that they’ve never been exposed to.
But maybe im just a sneaky powerful jew suggesting some evil plan to undermine US military bases and get that jew Emanuel off the hook for volunteering for the israeli jew army. I mean, if theres one thing the jews dont internally control its the military so this sounds like a masterful plot that yall think jews are up to.

Jews don’t control the army, but the Israel lobby controls congress. Your suggestion about service is an excellent one. It should be taken seriously. I suspect I am an urban elite. As there is no such thing as liberals and conservatives, however, I may not qualify.

The term ‘anti-Semitism’, like the holocaust – is political tool to blackmail the Christian world. How could the criticism of Jews, Holocaust or Israel could be ‘anti-Semitism’ when the great majority of Jewish population is either Khazarian Turks or African Berbers – and not of Semite tribes – at least since after the 10th century.
Anthony H. Codesman writing in the ‘Israel-First’ think tank CSIS had admitted that “US support to Israel is not based primarily on US strategic interests” – but it’s the western guilt of centuries-old anti-Semitism and the Holocaust.
The Jewish writer, William Braustein, in his study of Jewish history, titled ’The Root Of Hate”, admits: “One of the chief causes of anti-Semitism in late 19th/early 20th century Europe was the deep Jewish involvment in revolutionary Marxism….During the Hungarian and German revolutions of 1919 – 80-90% revolutionaries were Jewish”. Braustein also boast that the Russian revolution was conceived by the Jews.

Franklin never said that. The document quoted was written by William Pelley an American fascist who jailed during World War II for his pro-German activities. It is really quite easy to prove this document is a fiction. The Franklin Institute, the supposed holder of this document, denies its existence. The document was never quoted or heard of before the 1930’s. The document contains words that did not appear in English of the founding fathers. Franklin’s own actions during his lifetime, in fact, refute the veracity of the document.
This document along with the Protocols of the Fathers of Zion, another famous anti-Jewish fraud written by czarist secret police, have become well know on the internet and have been used to justify hatred and fear of American Jews.

The Times of London was never owned by the Rothschild family at anytime during its history so the issue of their controlling The Times is questionable to say the least. There is good documentation Dulles was in Constantinople at the same time as Graves and may have interacted with him. Even if that is the case, it was very early in Dulles career and he did not hold an important or influential position at that time. He had only been in the Diplomatic Service for five years in 1921. Dulles was an anti-Semite and later a nazi sympathizer so there is reason to doubt that he would want to prove that the Protocols are a hoax. Ultimately, the plagiarism from the two previously mentioned novels is the proof that the Protocols are a hoax.

Thanks for this information which confirms what everyone already knows, that Jews are the least likely group to defend the country which has given them unimaginable opportunity and success. When anyone speaks of anti-Semitism as though criticism of Jews acting collectively is ipso facto racist, he overlooks the obvious implication of such an assertion that Jews acting collectively must, therefore, have never done anything wrong, can never do anything wrong, and bear no responsibility for the universal reaction to them in every land where they’ve settled. It’s odd, isn’t it, that they successfully depict themselves as victims at all times when less than 1.5% of our population owns 40% of national household net worth? Is it because they’re that much smarter than the rest of us? Not in my experience.

Recent genetic mapping refutes the argument that eastern European Jews are of Turkic origin. Jews were found to be closely related to people living in the middle-east. The closest genetic link found in that study was between Jews, and the Syrian, Palestinian, Iraqi and Druze populations. Jews also were found have some genetic similarities to portions of the Italian population as well as to the people of the Greek Islands.
While the Khazar Kingdom did exist for a century and the royalty of this kingdom did convert to Judaism, there is no measurable genetic contribution from these Turkic people found in the modern Jewish population. This theory, that Eastern European Jews are Turkic in decent, was based on sparse historical records and now is clearly refuted by modern science.

I disagree with you on the DNA study but whatever the science eventually proves, in no way will it justify the killing of anyone. In the case of the Israelis and the Palestinians, it is important that they accept the situation as it exists with Israeli and Palestinian States. The radicals of both sides are a performing a disservice to the people they claim to care about.
I agree that many Palestinian civilians have suffered throughout this conflict but Israelis have suffered as well. Many Palestinian political leaders have been dedicated to the driving the Israelis into the sea and virtually wiping out the Jewish population of the area so you cannot expect the Israelis to lay down and be slaughtered. I wonder what we Americans would do if Cuba started firing missiles at the Florida Keys. Far more Palestinians have been killed by other Arabs and by the Palestinians themselves than by Israeli’s. Other Arab countries have not integrated the Palestinians into their societies and, in fact, have driven them out of their countries on several occasions. Compare that to the way the 700,000 plus Jews who were expelled Arab countries in the wake of the 1948 war were integrated in Israeli society. Yes, it took about 20 years but it was done successfully.
There is plenty of blame to go around and neither side in this conflict is without responsibility for making it worse. The current situation in Gaza is tragic. The continued creation of settlements on the West Bank is outrageous. Attacks by Palestinian militants continue to kill and injure Israelis making negotiating a peace agreement much more difficult. As interesting as discussions of the 1200 year old history of khazar Empire and the DNA of modern Jews of Eastern European decent may be, ultimately these arguments don’t really matter.

I am ashamed to share the status of veteran with you putzes. First, you lie when you cite the DoD “stastic” regarding a suppositional figure of 4,000 Jews in the military. The DoD maintains no such tracking based on religious preference, nor is it an ethnic category on any forms at enlistment or commissioning, nor do they make it publicly available even if this suppositional figure were not fake. As a Jewish lay leader, we have a hard enough time finding out who’s Jewish in our units, let alone military-wide.
Second, you take Admiral Robinson and Captain Elson out of context to support your hypothesis, which easily could have been answered by, you know, investigating journalism where you interview people. But why let the facts get in the way of an anti-Semitic piece of trash? These two were clearly speaking to our lack of rabbinical chaplains. When I came into the infantry at Fort Benning in 1994, we had a dozen Jews just in that cycle, gearing to be combat soldiers. Just that cycle. On the other hand, in Orthodox circles, you will find rabbis joining and supporting in ways (vis a vis Chabad’s prison and military arm, Aleph Institute) that are in line with the more conservative leanings of those movements.
There is a component of fear, irrational at that, of anti-Semitism within the fold. But we are serving in proportion with our, and I’ll cite your fictitious statistic for myself here, representation in the population regardless of what you say.
