Sarah Palin continues to be a major critic of President Barack Obama. Why are people giving her a platform? Why would anyone think she has any particular insight into national issues and how our federal government should operate? Wouldn’t it be cheaper just to mic up a grilled cheese sandwich and ask it questions? But at least she adds to the diversity of the medium, because unlike most people on our teevee boxes, she hates the United States of America.
Sarah Palin Monday night chided President Barack Obama for his support of the right to build the proposed mosque two blocks from Ground Zero in New York, saying the president “doesn’t get it.”
Oh, no? Good to see that Sarah Palin managed to get her doctorates in religious studies and political science. Finally, somebody who can speak with authority on this subject.
“It sounds cliched to say that the president is disconnected from the American people on this issue, but how else do you describe it,” the former Alaska GOP governor said on Fox News.
You want to know who else is disconnected from the American people? Sarah Palin! She lives in the middle of nowhere, thousands of miles from where the vast majority of Americans live. Which is fine! But it is sort of hard to be the voice of America. Not impossible! But it is impossible to be the voice of America when your idea of America doesn’t extend beyond uneducated white people who are Christians. And when you think that is the only kind of America that should exist, that is known as hate.
You want to know how to describe the president’s view on this issue? It’s the great American tradition of not giving a shit what other people do or want to believe. And yes, it’s pretty important to the fucking Constitution.

Somebody is not getting it! Somebody is being insensitive! Perhaps with some education, Sarah Palin could understand that “those Muslims” are Americans. And perhaps she might understand that the mosque that is ALREADY THERE gets pretty crowded! That is one reason why it would be good to put another one in this location! And perhaps she can understand that cities are places where people are not just white and Christian! And perhaps, for a fucking second, she can try to understand how it feels when somebody hates you and associates you with terrorists because of your religion or your name or the color of your skin, even though you love your country. And then perhaps she can understand that she does not live in this fucking neighborhood and has no idea what should or should not be built there. There is probably a crazy homeless man who masturbates at the World Trade Center site every day, but she has no idea.
Meanwhile, the grilled cheese sandwich is tolerant of Americans who are not white and Christian. The grilled cheese sandwich lets people be. The grilled cheese sandwich does not hate American values that make white and Christian people less fucking special.

Yeah, gonna go ahead and assume it might feel more like a stab in the heart for people who simply want to be a part of their own community and practice their own mainstream religious beliefs in a simple manner, without being called the murderers of people who used to work in their community.
If it feels like a stab in the heart to Americans that Muslims are a part of our society so close to where the World Trade Center stood, not only do those Americans refuse to acknowledge the true nature of their country, they actually hate it.
“If the purpose of this mosque, as we are lead to believe, is to create this tolerant environment, to avoid anything like a 9/11 ever repeating, you have to ask why didn’t one of those 100 [existing] mosques already accomplish such a thing,” Palin said.
Yes, isn’t it fucking amazing, Sarah Palin, that no matter how much Muslims practice their religion peacefully and are decent, hard-working Americans, people like you still refuse to tolerate them? We certainly do have to fucking ask why people like you continue to not tolerate them! What do Muslims have to do for you to tolerate them? Oh, right, there is nothing they can do. You just have to stop hating them. That’s something you have to do. They can’t do it for you.
Meanwhile, the grilled cheese sandwich waits by the phone for someone to call it and let it give its opinion on how exactly we should restrict religion in the United States. [Politico]

The only lingering pain I and many other dedicated researchers feel regarding the events of 9/11/2001 is precisely the continued promulgation by MSM mouthpieces, politicos and politico wannabees of the bogus paradigm of ANY Muslims having ANYTHING WHATSOEVER to do with the attacks.
No evidence of cognition yet in the land of the terminally ignorant of even the most fundamental investigatory principles – Who had the means?, Who had the motive, and Who had the opportunity?, let alone Who benefited most?
Unless Marvin Bush, Bush cousin Wirt Walker III and Securacom(now Stratesec) were Muslims, it’s fairly obvious to even those with minimal capacity for critical analysis that the charges that took down the towers were planted by nice white “christian” types. Imagine that!
Until the truth starts to penetrate the largely atrophied brains of the American public, I fear the pain of that day will continue to be felt by those of us still hopeful that justice will one day be served on the REAL perpetrators/media supporters and that this Zionist-backed hate-mongering of Muslims will be exposed for the propaganda it has always been.
While most Americans are ignorant, those who fancy themselves educated are in fact miseducated, and hence far more dangerous. I agree, the condition is terminal. The prognosis is enslavement.
I would venture to suggest that many of those who fall into your “miseducated” camp, are not so much “miseducated” as they are heavily indoctrinated by particular courses of study and/or the Zionist professorial infiltrators who have made names for themselves in the US collegiate arena.
That said, there are of course those many who entered university already well indoctrinated in synagogues and fundamentalist communities not to mention those conscripted by subversive CIA support programs on campuses across the nation.

Leon, I agree with you to a certain extent. I don’t think Sarah Palin is smart enough to be the mouth piece for any group, but I think you need to look at your inner self and see if you don’t have a special hate for non college white Christians, who profess a love of God. I don’t know what ethic group you belong but I belong to the group called white trash, redneck, hillbilly, cracker, ridge runner and now you have added a new one, uneducated white Christian. I used to see the World Trade Center from my apartment in Brooklyn. When 911 happened, I thought it was horrible. I know that there were more than Americans in those buildings and more than Christians. New York is like that – a collection of races, ethnicities, religions, sexes and sexual orientations. However, as much as I grieve for what happened, during 911 I was on the phone trying to find a nursing home for my mother. That grief comes first not the WTC. Palin who fanicies herself a feminist is one of those “sell your sister for your own benefit” feminists. She will betray feminists and the United States. She’s the kind of woman your mother told you, “birds of a feather flock together”- stay away from her. Freedom of religion means freedom of religion not just for Christians; not just for Evangelicals; not just for anyone. To ignore the right to religious freedom betrays everything this country was established for. A mosque near the WTC is appropriate. It tell the world we stand by what we believe.
In this time of peril, America needs another great Amerian hero and thinker like GW Bush.

Whether Sara Palin hates America is questionable. What is not questionable is that she is divider of the common people. And she is banking on her ability to divide, literally. As she irresponsibly insinuates that the religion of Islam is responsible for the 9/11 attacks, it is not likely she will ever say Christianity, and Roman Catholicism in particular, is responsible for the bombing of the Murrah building in Oklahoma City. Christianity was not responsible for the bombings of the Murrah building and neither was Islam responsible for the destruction of the WTC. But if you think Islam is responsible for the destruction of the WTC then Christianity is just as guilty for the destruction of the Murrah building. Extremists are the guilty parties in both instances.
But another topic Mrs. Palin will not address while she and her cohorts on Fox News make abhorrent insinuations toward Muslims, they will never address the situation of News Corp, Fox’s parent company, and it second largest stock holder, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, who happens to be Muslim. While the lower mouth pieces are addressing how guilty the Muslims are, the real players in the game are deeply in bed with them. No, she will never address that situation because it is an economic opportunity for her superiors. But shouldn’t there be economic limitations on Muslims in the US if Muslims are as responsible for 9/11 as the Fox team wants us to believe? Mrs. Palin has seen the green. It’s time for others to realize she and Fox News are banking on her ability to confuse and stir up primitive emotions.

Her followers say that she says it as it is, but what she does is tell them what they want to hear and scares them with things like death panels which is like screaming terrorist in a airport.
It’s like she’s from Bizzaro World where she does the opposite of what she says like protecting the Constitution and 1st amendment, while showing no respect for other people’s rights, especially ones who disagree with her, as well as give her followers someone to blame, for convenience sake, as if getting rid of this person will magically solve all the problems.
