GORDON DUFF: TWO WARS LOST, AN UNGRATEFUL NATION NOW TURNS ON ITS VETERANS

CONGRESS PLANS “STEALTH ATTACK” ON VETERANS BENEFITS

By Gordon Duff STAFF WRITER/Senior Editor

A week ago, we marched out of Iraq, leaving 50,000 “administrative” troops and tens of thousands of contractors behind.  They perform no useful purpose of any kind, no more than the original attack which Secretary of Defense Robert Gates now openly refers to as unnecessary and wrong.  The war that never should have started cost America 3 trillion dollars, much of it unaccounted for.  Along with the thousands of American dead and the untold devastation in Iraq, the war also cost America health and welfare of up to 400,000 of her veterans, America’s children.  A generation of young adults, another generation of our best and bravest stand betrayed.

We have money for fraud of every kind, projects paid for but never finished, weapons stolen, defective or never delivered, buying poisoned water for our troops at 5 times the cost of French Wine, I could go on for hours, the list is endless.

YouTube - Veterans Today -

This week, when Senator’s Alan Simpson, the “wild talking”  Wyoming Republican and now formerly a stalwart veterans advocate Daniel Akaka talk about saving money, it is to come from payments to veterans for “presumptive” illness.  Don’t believe its just these two, its the whole gang of them, with few exceptions, and its not the first time.  When Bush gutted funding for Veterans and up to 9 million disability claims related to war wounds and the endless environmental crimes against our troops shredded or shelved, even our “mainstream” veterans organizations stood behind him.

I spent two hours on the phone with a Vietnam veteran I have known for 35 years.  He has both a son and son-in-law seriously wounded from Iraq.  His 30 years in government and 28 years in the military, many years working with veterans, gave him the skills to help his own family negotiate the minefield of bureaucratic insanity servicemen and women are faced with when returning from war, used up, smashed, maimed or poisoned, discarded and left to die.

How many veterans died with claims in processing?  How many died of undiagnosed poisonings or waiting for that medical appointment that never comes?  It isn’t thousands or tens of thousands.  Is the number as high as a million?  It may be, we aren’t allowed to know.

This is America’s real patriotic tradition, with network after network talking about little but election year hate issues like immigration, the “Ground Zero Mosque and our “Muslim” president.  Do they really think we don’t all know that the only non-atheists in Washington are the Satan worshippers and pedophiles?  Every time I hear a politician call to his personal god for support or drag out a bible, I wait for the lightening bolt.   Washington is a cesspool and every “reformer” begging for a chance to clean it out only plans to jump in and enjoy the stench.

We have seen it all before.  The only “non-issue” this year is our hundreds of thousands of sick veterans.  The war has become boring and unpopular, unless, of course, we have another of those dramatically staged terror attacks.  Then we can bring out the flags again, and, for awhile at least, honor the fallen.

That will end, of course, when new wiretapping laws are passed and another “money eating” bureaucracy is created, always headed by “the usual suspects,” the Washington-Tel Aviv-Wall Street nexus of conspiracy nuts, “government sanctioned” conspiracies, of course.

Until then, it will be business as usual.  The machinery of Bush era Veterans Affairs is ready to go into high gear like the “Court of Miracles” from Dicken’s A Tale of Two Cities.  Our government is famous for hiring claims examiners who have found crippled and dying veterans “fit and whole” thousands of times.   Our military has learned from them, sending soldiers into combat pumped full of anti-psychotic medications or with brain injuries so serious they barely know their own names.

The whole idea that veterans and our troops are “freeloaders” is insane.  A real examination of finances shows another story.  What we are overloaded with is “lead pants” Pentagon brass, thousand upon thousand generals, admirals and their personal aides and “yes men” followed by thousands of publicists.  Do we want to forget our two primary boondoggle money pits, our endlessly repetitive intelligence agencies and our “peek under the bed” homeland security gang?

We spend more money hiding facts from the public than funding research to try to save generations of military families, not just veterans but their entire families, poisoned, not only from Agent Orange, questionable vaccinations, depleted uranium, toxic insect sprays or the rare “enemy” related chemical weapon but dozens of environmental disasters on two dozen or more military bases.

Agent Orange is only one of dozens of such problems.  2,900,000 Americans served in Vietnam 40 years ago.  As of last year, 711,000 were still alive with many dead for decades of “presumptive illness” that congress finds trivial.  For every living Vietnam veteran, two died mysteriously, many of them in their 30s.

Hiding this from the America people costs millions a year.  Congress has no difficulty funding lies.

After all, how much can it cost keeping the fact that America itself has given the Taliban in Afghanistan over $3,000,000,000 to protect our military convoys, money they then spend killing our troops.

Is congress that insane?

Let’s take a second to look at the economic component, not from the traditional “mumbo jumbo” sense, but from the view of a returning veteran.  It isn’t any secret that the only reason America can still be at war with its “volunteer army” is the fact that there are no jobs in America.  America is an economic failure, bankrupt, jobless, poverty stricken, a failed nation.

Washington blames the “bankster” thieves who looted trillions of dollars through mojo financial schemes which allowed them to create money out of air backed by “derivatives.”

What is a derivative?  The answer is simple.  Spend all the money in your wallet or purse.  Reach in for more.  What you pull out is a “derivative” and perhaps a piece of lint.

Veterans Benefits Alan Simpson

Alan Simpson Anti-Veteran Politician

The boys who own our government, all the governments, simply pretended to have money that didn’t exist, pretended to lose money they never had and then went to the government to recover their “losses” when pretend money didn’t “spend” anymore.

The government then started up the printing presses to make the super-rich even ‘super-richer.”  The end result means you have a job you may lose tomorrow, you house is worthless, social security may fail, you retirement account is dead and now congress wants to take away the meager veterans pension your son or daughter receives for what was done to them by Bush, Blair, Wall Street and, especially, our very good friends in Tel Aviv.  Don’t forget them.

Congress knows nothing about how many parents cry themselves to sleep.

America can’t really be trusted with an army anymore.  Would you give a baby a laptop or a three year old a shotgun?

I just saved you four useless years at Harvard Business School.

When will Glenn Beck, the warmongering demagogue voice of Israeli owned Fox News cry his first tear for a wounded veteran?  Even when Sean Hannity and Oliver North promised to send the children of all Iraq and Afghanistan vets to college, something that seemed to hopeful to many, it turned out to be a hollow political ploy.

Let’s talk about the first attacks on veterans, attacks against what congress believes is the weak underbelly, “presumptive illness.”

Senators are now focusing on the tens of thousands of Vietnam veterans, about half in “claims processing” for 20 to 30 years, some paid a few dollars a month, some paid a few thousand.  The goal is to strip them of this money as quickly as possible.

Is this a joke?

Agent Orange compensation is only paid to veterans either close to death from cancers, diseases that already killed so many we will never be able to count or those with clearly defined maladies that it took medical science, the worst and slowest minds in the world decade after decade to establish as results of dioxin exposure from Agent Orange.

Dioxin has long been known to be as poisonous as arsenic or cyanide.

What really motivates our Washington thieves to go after our veterans?  It’s easy.  The service organizations that used to represent our former military are now grown fat, complacent and are focused on political infighting and are toothless, useless and more part of the problem than even congress itself.

They “cherry-pick” newsworthy issues aimed at their “conservative” membership, political issues, and ignored the dozens of scandals that have destroyed hundreds of thousands of veterans.  At recent hearings in Washington on Gulf War Illness, our service organizations in their seats of prominence, not only brought nothing of value to the table but proved they were more than unfamiliar with the issues themselves.

They knew nothing and simply didn’t care.  However, you can be assured, if something is done, they will stand up to take credit as usual.

With the most powerful advocacy group in Washington the AIPAC lobby, pumping money into, not only Israel, but the real power in keeping America’s military debt machine at full speed to support the aftermath of our national attack of post 9/11 delusion and self destruction, veterans don’t stand a chance.

Expect benefit cuts, medical treatment cutbacks.

Expect continual attacks on veterans in the corporate media, replacing their usual silence.  Veterans are a threat, competing with Israel and the war lobby for the last pickings from a bankrupt America.

Veterans have always been an easy target, patriotic to a fault, easy to fool, easy to exploit, and always led by hucksters.  Read any mainstream veterans publication.  The signs of assumption are there.  Veterans chose to serve, even when their country was dead wrong.  Now veterans are being forced to pay.  Congress calls it justice.

  1. Change the word War to Invasion.

Veterans unite and march on Washington and the pentagon… close them down… tell them that secrecy is no longer about national security. Gandhi twisted the Empire in knots and then it had no
choice but to dissolve, but, alas it has sprouted up again. We must always be vigilant and our type of government needs a total overhaul. There is no national security , there are no American national
security interests in far away lands, this is all just the modus operendai of the oligarchs.

March veterans march, and take care of each other…. you’re all of the same blood, regardless of
ancestry or colour… we are all members of the human species… its time… no more Iraq.

    Helen, et al

Let me set this up a bit better…The book, “Vaccine A,” indicates that oil adjuvants are the most extensively researched pharmaceutical product in the last quarter century. Matsumoto goes on to report the most effective adjuvants – those formulated with oils – are too dangerous for human use. He says this is a VERY touchy subject with the DOD (Dept. of Defense) because of squalene’s proven ability to CAUSE incurable disease. (see my post above for more specifics on squalene) The government has written strict regulations that govern how all oil adjuvants are to be used – and one of the “classic oil adjuvants,” was considered even too inhumane to inject into animals.

It was known as early as the 1930’s oil additives were notorious for inducing illness. By 1950 scientists knew these illnesses were SPECIFICALLY AUTOIMMUNE. Today, their chief use in research is in inducing disease – not preventing it.

Getting back to the earlier post of the 44,459 troops that were injected (1951/Ft. Dix), 18,000 of them were injected, without their informed consent, with the Only the newly formulated oil additive for vaccines. This experiment was blessed and funded by the U.S. Army Medical R & D Command at Fort Detrick. Yet another leg of our military, The Armed Forces Epidemiological Board (AFEB) would sponsor a large number of similar experiments conducted on military personnel, and in 1963 & 1964 would recommend an experimental flu vaccine containing oil adjuvant for EVERY man and woman in the U.S. military WITHOUT THEIR INFORMED CONSENT. The AFEB would also recommend the Dept of Defense begin studies with oil added to tetanus, diphtheria and polio vaccines. They were even performing testing of these adjuvants on medical students at the Univ. Of Pittsburg under the sponsorship of the AFEB and bankrolled by the Army Surgeon General. At the seventeen-year mark of this prolonged experiment, academia wanted a piece of the action. An AFEB scientist who was on the faculty of the Univ. of Michigan School of Public Health organized another follow-up experiment.

Twenty one years later the results of this extensive experiment — after having involved the military, civilian public health authorities, and a major university — were conclusive. And, what no one is being told is that by 1964, the year when EVERYONE in the military was supposed to get immunized with an oil-boosted influenza vaccine, the Army ALREADY KNEW the risks this vaccine presented for a very specific type of illness. Below is the list that was drawn up by the AFEB of what to look for in veterans injected with the oily flu vaccine at Fort Dix in 1964. According to the author, the AFEB’s list of diseases read like the contents of a chapter on autoimmune disease in an immunology textbook.

    It included:
    Multiple Sclerosis
    Myelitis
    Guillain-Barre syndrome
    Uveitis
    Neurodermatitis Circumscripta
    Disseminata
    Amyloidosis
    Lupus Erthematosus
    Dermatomyositis
    Scleroderma
    Chronic Pericarditis
    Raynaud’s Disease
    Rheumatoid Arthritis
    Rheumatoid Myositis
    and Acute Glomerulonephritis

So, do you think they really had any reservations about killing 3,000 people on that fateful day in NYC?

    • This is so well written and true. We need to stand together and spread the truth as wide and far as we can. Letters, petitions, peaceful stand-ins, focus on the real issues as how the American public is being manipulated by our government and corporate America We need to wake-up now before world war 111 begins. This would only help the top 2% and take care of the unemployment problem. Please get involved in your countries government.

  4. and here is a quick follow up to Just Me’s post above.

  5. “In the past four years, it has only become easier to experiment on U.S. military personnel. Following an executive order that President Bill Clinton signed in September 1999, all the Secretary of Defense need do now is make a persuasive case to the President that it is necessary to give troops experimental medicines without informed consent for their own good. But the order lays out no criteria for making such a decision.”

And, according to the author, the FDA has been cut out of the loop . Yep, the regulatory agency that is supposed to monitor these activities was cut out!

“The Feres Doctrine is the rule that prohibits members of the Armed Forces from suing the military for any harm they suffer from negligence during their service.”

  6. “It isn’t any secret that the only reason America can still be at war with its “volunteer army” is the fact that there are no jobs in America. America is an economic failure, bankrupt, jobless, poverty stricken, a failed nation.”

“With the most powerful advocacy group in Washington the AIPAC lobby, pumping money into, not only Israel, but the real power in keeping America’s military debt machine at full speed to support the aftermath of our national attack of post 9/11 delusion and self destruction, veterans don’t stand a chance.”

Putting those two points together is my 2003 update of Wilfred Owen’s famous World
War I poem, “Dulce et Decorum Est” at http://www.dcdave.com/poet12/031016.html .

  7. Anarchists…

  8. I spent the entire day at a VA hospital, packed to the rafters, and all the employees are worried about money – heard them say plenty of essential items that were on a “will and a prayer” – this is in a major city that is one of the largest suppliers of poor deluded pups (St. Louis). It was not pretty. (what I hate is that I look young so everyone thinks I’m an Iraq vet :( Ok so that isn’t a big deal, but I was shouting as loud as I could before that s*** )

    • VA employee? Most of them I think use their job at VA as a welfare check. How may of them are even vets? Most of them are sitting in the patients waiting room watching the TV. Now that they have the pathetic kioski system which cost how much to install and most seldom work they still have 4 to 5 people as receptionists. I had one gal close down the neuro clinic in a large VA hospital located on the eastern edge of PA so she could run down stairs and get her Botox shot for her lips. I hate going to that hospital and sorry to say had to stay in it for 5 days. The intern stoipped in once to release me. Most were to busy most of the day twittering or eating pizza. Most of the employees wouldn’t help avet because it is no there job. Lets get vets in these positions as it was intended back in the 30′s. Seems like the system was and is used for mothers to work programs in the larger cities.

  9. Once again, I popped by the site to see what was being touted. I am thoroughly disappointed: All I read is carping, growsing, whining and moaning. These wars are the result of skullduggery by the Military-Indistrial-Congressional Complex. Constitutionally, there are no “Wars” currently on-going. What I would expect from Veterans Today is a “game-plan” to alert the citizenry, the Legislators, and the Department of Defense as to the absurdity of their expenditure of life, assets, and money on an indefensible “maneuver” into another nation’s indigenous affairs. No matter one’s political persuasion, this bullshit should cease, and our troops should be extracted, post haste! Whether we stay and interfere or leave immediately will not change the outcome in the future. Two thousand years of territorial, religious, and familial confrontations will not soon change – not by us, or anyone other country. The best we get out of Washington, DC is arguing over who gets credit for the “win” and who must be blamed for the “loss!” And, all VT does is sort the rat-turds in the pepper. Saddle up, chaps – stick it in their ears!

  10. and P.S if you are a young vet trying to get compensation try to get in with American Legion – I don’t know what their overall agenda is, but they helped me. Ask them to be your “sponsor” (??) I don’t remember what its called but they handle your case and yeah it still took a few times but they got it done.

  11. Simpson just spoke out loud the ‘conservative’ ideology that’s been around for decades but especially after the raygun, reason the battles for are so long and many unwillable and the public on that side of so called conservatism love it! They are the loudest to cheer about being number one in power and for wars of choice but no where to be found during or after, including vets that follow the flock!

  13. The “government” has always turned its back on veterans, ALWAYS! We are not to have a standing army, but states’ militias.

The government has the attitude of Henry Kissinger, that military men are dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy.

Every soldier should read Smedley Butler’s War is a Racket and also realize that American soldiers are the military arm of the New World Order. Washington, D.C. = military arm.

  14. I don’t know who this government is working for these days but it sure isn’t the American people. Veterans have a right to be angry. We have been used and then discarded. I just read a articule about Israel and how well it’s doing. Israeli’s are not interested in the peace process because they can do whatever they want to Arabs and we still pay them Billions while their country is better off than ours.
There is no question most of our elected representives are not going to be loyal to veterans issues. For years now I have heard the stories about the VA and waiting lines and claims delays. I have my own stories of waiting 12 hours to see a doctor in the ER. Or having my claim take from 1981 until 1998 to be complete. The message is they just don’t care. Money is thrown at the issue and used for new buildings or staffing that doesn’t reach the problem. Then they ask for more money and hire minorities to fill quotas. People who sit behind desks pushing paper ignoring the veteran because as federal employees they don’t have to care and react. I have seen this dozens of times…. In the comments above I hear the frustration and I know as a Vietnam Veteran that we are used to extend political and capitol power for those who do not represent the American people. But we paid the price and should demand better treatment. Quality medical care and prompt action on simple requests is not a big deal but poor leadership has allowed a culture of neglect to become the norm.
Yes, we need to unite around a simple issue and put pressure on this system to bring change. One concept is fee basis. If the VA can’t get it done quickly and professionally the Veteran ought to be allowed to get help in the private sector. Say a time limit. Need a surgery…No waiting more than one month. I know several vets who have and are waiting months to get simple pain releaving surgeries done. This is not third world. We must demand prompt medical care and claims processing. It is our right.

    • And on 16 billion to Israhell’s tab for the money given to Pakistan for the right to control Pakistan’s opposition to Israhell, since 911 and many others we had to buy off to tolerate Israhell.

  15. It is really SAD and shameful for the government to CHOP/CUT at different benefits that Americans have earned. These people will go after everything they can, instead of going to their pay and benefits to solve financial issues with the country. The politicians run the Federal, State, and local governments, so their combined income could ease the pressure of some cities financial mess. Most of these people could be classified as millionaires or close to it. They won’t let anything affect their pay, so it can only be greed at the highest level. The mayor and his band of thief’s from Bell, California took the city to the cleaners for their funds. And one of those pitiful idiots resigned before things could be fully investigated on him, so he could keep all that money from being touched…Maybe!! Once again all can suffer from the decisions of the government trying to fix issue.

  16. As a 1964, i.e., 1964 U. Army length of service military retiree who served this deceitful, thnakless and unforgiving nation duing and over three major engagements, in combat, and a dozen minor conflagrations on the “low” draft-era pay and non-existent allowances I WAS THEN BETRAYED along with 432,000 cohorts on future retired pay. This was done by the changing of a decades old law regarding how retired pay would be paid in the future. Consequently we, retirees of that time have witnessed and endured a retired pay discrimination that varies from double to four time inferior than our “ingrate” military successors.

Separately Medicare did not even exist when I retired. Under the “laws of this nation” I had “earned” life-time health care for myself and eligible dependents. No!

Today I pay “all” of the health care for my wife of over 62 years and for myself.

Dordon Duff. It is long past time that my successors start paying for their rosy retirement.

Separately I’ll try to forwrd a letter I recently sent to the Quadrennial Defense Review Board. wdgray@shawneelink.net

    THE LAWFUL SOLUTION

What we need at this point (actually long before) is a tipping point by a head count of 20 million to 30 million Veterans, individuals and citizens, demanding Congress call a convention as mandated in Article V of the U.S. Constitution. This gives “We The People…” a gate pass to propose amendments to the Constitution without either Congress or the President getting involved. It’s like a referendum regularly used by many States — to propose amendments.

Article V clearly states that 2/3 or 34 States must propose amendments for Congress to do its duty and call a convention. It is mandatory and peremptory; that is, “Law not open to appeal or challenge; final.” More than 700 amendments have been proposed by the States, then buried or forgotten by Congress. This alone is a violation of their oath of office; additionally, it is criminal under several other federal laws — as stated by the U.S. Solicitor General. This includes every member of Congress!

As to the Article V Convention: All 50 States elect the requisite number of delegates, who gather State by State to form a deliberative assembly under parliamentary procedure, to draft, revise and polish their amendments to the Constitution. These ‘proposed’ amendments are collected by Congress so they can forward them to all 50 States for potential ratification — it requires 38 States (75%) to ratify before any or all amendents become law.

What we’re addressing here are those amendments Congress itself refuses to set into law by legislation without filling them with loop holes and/or connecting said legislation to pork barrel projects or shady under-the-table deals. Such as Term Limits, Balanced Budget, Standard U.S. Voting Unit (without private ownership or proprietary software that can be tinkered with in the dark of night), No Endless Warmongering, 100% Government Transparency, Locked-In Veterans Benefits and Healthcare, Fair Taxation (especially for the wealthiest 1% and Major/Multi-National Corporations, Hands-Off Social Security Funds, Curbing Wall Street Excesses, Rapid Recall of Bad Public Servants, and many more. Not all amendments will achieve ratification because 75% approval (OK’ed by 38 States) is a very high bar to surmount — however, we must begin to regain control of our government so it is truly governed from ground up.

Article V of the Constitution was included in the Bill of Rights masterwork because the Framers KNEW that a government of men could/would turn toward tyranny, and sooner or later would grab control like we’re experiencing now. Why should Veterans have to worry about receiving benefits they deserve every time Congress burps or farts? If the government can give away billions to Oil Corporations and Corporate Farming Giants, why do they treat their ‘Protectors’ with such disdain?

“We The People…” can’t seem to vote the two-party system out of office because they’ve managed, over time, to control every avenue of rooting out a very, very corrupt system. Think about how the plutocracy effects the Primary Elections in far too many States, or through Gerrymandering! What a horrid mess.

It’s time to stop fearing an Article V Convention — a deliberative assembly of non-politician Americans that have used the States’ referendum method hundreds of times, successfully without hostility or corrupting political influences. No skullduggery, no corporate take-over; just a lawful and transparent method of putting our out-of-control public servants in their place until next time!

Google “Article V Convention” to learn more. “We The People…” are Sovereign.

  18. I SAY ITS TIME WE VETERANS STAND UP AND FIGHT THESE BASTARDS. if you can’t vote them out lets go to washington and kick them out. they dont understand when to much is to much. you push to far you get your ASS KICKED. all the security they have will be nothing to get to these THUGS. I SAY ITS TIME FOR ASS KICKING.

    • The local governments, especially counties and their prosecutors could be convening grand juries to investigate 911 and other crimes.

Silence nothing but silence and endless prosecution of petit criminals and prostitutes.

MARCH ON YOUR COUNTY COURT HOUSE!

      Mike

  19. Yes we do have some scum in Congress and if we do not vote them out we are as bad as their are.

    • Wake up, “voting” is merely the mechanism whereby the Corporate Fraud establishes the legal “presumption” of public consent. You aren’t given any choice which hasn’t been thoroughly vetted by the elite interests for compliance with the status quo, so what good is your vote?

IF you vote, you endorse the fraud. That’s the REALITY behind the system.

Only when this present foreign owned system is dismantled will votes matter as they were intended, and only those at the local and state level in actuality. Federal Offices were always intended to be filled by State appointment, not popular vote since the Federal Government was to be the Government of the States, not the people of those states.

This is why the Constitution makes clear that ONLY those responsibilities specifically enumerated were reserved for the Federal Government, whilst ALL other rights and duties were RESERVED to the States and the People.

In a true Republic the central government should have ZERO involvement with or power over the sovereign individual of any state (save those expressly named as subject within the 10 mile square zone of D.C. and the “territories”). Even the latter, if we were true to our founders vision would be divested and left to govern themselves.

  20. Thanks Gordon,

This is truly a masterpiece summary of the state of the nation, no punches pulled and few stones not uncovered.

As with any crime and its coverup, the aggravating circumstances clearly elucidated by you make make both crimes reprehensible to the ultimate degree. A mercenary at least has the right to a share of the war spoils but not so for Americans serving in the USA Armed Forces. The jews get the spoils of war in this case.

Sorry to say, but this has the earmarks and fingerprints of a jewish trick on America.

Have the neocons been manipulating for support of American Veterans and where is that weak, smirking, impish creep Williams Kristol of the Weakly (non)Standard and his fervent support of USA execution and finance of all jewish wars for world domination, when we need him?

Remember your talmud lesson from the smart jew: It is the purpose of the Gentile to serve the jew; That explains why USA Veterans are treated like dogs—-cattle really, while is the meaning of goyim. They can get any bill passed in Congress they want, make the entire Congress salute the Star of David, and can kill (Kennedy), or pick (Obummer), or “run”
(Clinton and Bush), “OUR” presidents but will be silent when it comes to our Veterans.

Jew run politicians which includes all current and most past, get “fiscally conservative” when it comes to Veterans but never saw a war for the jews they didn’t like!

    • Good god, Mike. This Jew mongering dribble is some really sick stuff and so very off the topic at hand.

      • John the same old tired DEFAMATION FROM YOU G_D DAMNED JEWS. YOU DO ALL THE DEFAMATION AND THEN COMPLAIN ABOUT BEING PERSECUTED AND DEFAMED.

Read Norman Finkelstein: the animus towards the jews is NOT irrational.

You don’t have your bully pulpit on this website. Go to the Washington Post, NY Times and Weekly standard to hear the endless defamation of American patriots and justification of jewish crimes. It’s a fantasy world you can choose to believe in if you like but not on this site.

I happen to agree with Alan Sabrosky, one of the editors on this site that most jewish Americaqns are more loyal to their tribe and israhell than they are to the fellow citizens in the country of their birth and residence.

So Dr Sabrosky and I mindless “haters” according to you!?

Stick your tired horse Sh_T up you ass!

Most American jews know full well israel did 911 and started the two current wars and are trying to start another one in Iran, probably including YOU! Go ahead, act dumb pretend you don’t know and bury us in endless arguments! I think the truth will come out.

I agree with Fritz Hollings: the war in Iraq is a war for israel and everyone in D.C. knows it but is afraid to say it! I’m not afraid to say it MF!

        Mike

      • No John ,

It is not dribble and it is not sick. Dribble, sick, did you forget “vile”? What you call the truth when you don’t like the truth!

        Mike

  21. They’re running scared, they have shit in their mess kits. Now they are going to shit in ours.

  22. If there were still a draft, I think people would protest more. The problem is an all volunteer army isn’t as important to people. They figure – oh you volunteered so now you have to go through with your contract. No one is letting people know that two and three and four tours are being giving to soldiers. And the military and the government has made sure that journalists are not doing the same coverage they did in Vietnam. People don’t know what’s going on. They’re fixated on their job losses, loss of income, housing equity and foreclosure.

  23. This is it a nutshell.
    Everything.

  24. A lot of people are going to listen to these politicians and agree with them. I know vets that are a 100 percent and people think they are a bunch of phonies, even the ones that have died recently in their early 60′s. The only way we can get rid of these A holes is vote them out of office. There are more of us than them. Every group ( VVA, American Legion, VFW, etc.) need to pull everyone together vets and vet supporters and vote these guys out. They are just getting their bandwagons full and we need to get ours and show them we mean business.

  25. what sickens me most is i believe these soldiers believed they were fighting for a noble country & countrymen when the majority of amerikans are fat, lazy, selfish, ungrateful cowards who don’t even deserve to stand of Americas soil!! take care of yourselves vets & fight with all you have. you are our strength. most amerikans don’t care. period. but, the ones who care, will always have your backs.

  26. Government run healthcare for veterans is sure to be the precursor to our brand new, shiny, government run healthcare for each and every fine citizen of the U.S. of A. Everybody ready? It’s gonna be a bumpy ride!

  27. You and me were all CON’D into thinking we were serving our country in good faith. what bull-crap. we were serving americas special interest. China had it right when she called america a DAM IMPERIALIST. America has to be all over the world. all places were she don’t belong. THEIR IS GOLD AND OIL IN THEM THEIR PLACES. wars are all fought for the ELITE TO PROFIT. what else americas corporations. O’ I FORGOT ALSO TO FILL THE POCKETS OF OUR CORRUPT POLITICIANS IN WASHINGTON, BOTH IMBECILE REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS.

  28. O i forgot to add, now that all veterans see what’s going on i suggest people that thought about join the military stop. think about what the government will do for you when you come back from a worthless war. They will treat you like all veterans. WAIT AND WAIT AND WAIT FOR ALL BENEFITS AND HEALTH CARE. most time years will pass. then denial after denial. so tell them all to go get screwed. dont join.

  29. there is a lot of anger on this site and it is a reaction to the state of affairs we currently live in. Our country is a mess and has been used by both foreign and domestic special interests. To be sure Israel has a powerful lobby in Aipac and other organizations. They lobby for special laws and privledge which other groups do not enjoy. Our system has become a whore to the highest bidder. In the case of Israel it is sad that we fight for them, give them money and then ask them to play fair. Which they do not. Israel is an lawless, apartide state. But, please, this is not the Jews per se, it is mostly the Zionist movement for the greater Israel. Anger at their advantages is one thing but hate for Jews is another. Israel’s power and influence over our government is way beyond what it ought to be.
The Zionist movement has been at work for along time and it is smart, powerful and ruthless. I am amazed at the number of Jewish persons in high office in our government. During the Bush administration our government seemed to be run from Tel Avi. And now Obummer is about the same.
I don’t believe there is much we can do about the power of Israel’s lobby. But we can do something about how veterans are treated. Our elected representives will respond to veternas because they need us to fight their wars and protect this country. Short of revolution we need to be organized and focus on a few simple tasks. Quality health care, no more wars for Israel or special interests and take care of USA first. I know, not that simple….Organize.

  30. The World According to Gordon Duff

    August 24, 2010

Peter B Collins talks with Gordon Duff, senior editor at Veterans Today, who offers a sweeping view of America’s wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the WikiLeaks saga, and the events of 9/11. Duff, a Marine veteran of Viet Nam, claims intelligence sources worldwide, especially in Pakistan. He asserts that most events called “terrorism” are false flag events, that Israel’s Mossad is in control of much of the disinformation in circulation today, that bin Laden has been dead for years, that all top officials of the Federal Reserve are dual citizens with “Israeli passports in their dresser drawers next to the marijuana”, that North Korea’s submarines and the nuke they tested came from Israel, and that the WikiLeaks leaks were orchestrated in Tel Aviv. He also has a very different view of Pakistan’s ISI and the insurgents lumped together as the “Taliban”. Duff is an amiable man whose rambling narrative is loaded with information that can’t be proved or disproved by those of us without security clearances, yet his worldview is fascinating and very different from corporate media reports and “conventional wisdom”. Your humble host encourages you to listen with an open mind and adequate skepticism, and decide for yourself.

  31. GORDON:
For almost three decades the DoD and the DVA used the stat 2.5 million actual In Country VN Vets. The additional 400K has magically appeared in the past year or so. Who developed the 800K dead VN vets since 1975 and for what reason ?
To get a totally accurate number of Nam vets that have died since REFRAD to CONUS,
every city and county coroner in the US, the DoD and the DVA would have to come up with a similar set of parameters to investigate and confirm a vet’s suicide. Would this include driving under the influence and a motor vehicle fatality ?
Does this include drug overdoses ? Or confrontations with the law that end in a shoot out ? The criteria is questionable and so is the dart board numbers game being played out under the guise of a hidden agenda to quell any further increases in taking care of our veterans.
I SERIOUSLY question the validity of these numbers and who the source of this
statistical manipulation. There is some conjecture by the Blue Water Navy organization concerning these numbers in their postscript to the recent DaNang Harbor AO Report.

    • Lem,
I also noted the number jump. I also remember the debate back in the 90s about putting up a second vietnam memorial for the 50,000 who died by 75….they had chosen a small….bushel sized stone..then backed off.
The figure, starting at 800k then down this last year to 711k originated on the VA site itself.
Other casualty figures came from the Navy online site and others.
All had to be accessed and correlated surrepticiously
