U.S. CONGRESSMEN TO OBAMA: FREE POLLARD TO FACILITATE MIDEAST PEACE
An American Jew Jonathan Pollard, steals American secrets for the sake of a foreign country, Israel, and committed one of the most serious national security compromises in American history has U.S. Congress on his side. Does this not illustrate sufficiently the power of the Israel Lobby to influence the US Congress?

Several United States congressmen have signed a petition calling on U.S. President Barack Obama to pardon Jonathan Pollard, jailed in the U.S. for over 25 years for spying, in order to advance the peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported on Thursday.
Pollard, a former civilian intelligence analyst, was sentenced to life in prison in 1987 on charges of spying on the U.S. for Israel.
A statement released by Democratic Representative Barney Frank “notes the positive impact that a grant of clemency would have in Israel, as a strong indication of the goodwill of our nation towards Israel and the Israeli people.”
“This would be particularly helpful at a time when the Israeli nation faces difficult decisions in its long-standing effort to secure peace with its neighbors,” Frank’s office continued in the statement.
Direct peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians will face the first major hurdle in the next few days as Israel’s moratorium on construction in West Bank settlements is set to expire. Reports have circulated that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is seeking Pollard’s release in order to pacify the settler movement if he extends the moratorium.
For years after Pollard’s capture, Israel insisted he was a rogue agent – but in 1998, during his first term as prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu admitted that the agent was part of an officially sanctioned operation.
In 2007, as leader of the opposition, Netanyahu visited Pollard in prison and vowed that if he returned to power, he would take action to secure the spy’s release.
The petition in support of Pollard’s release will circulate until mid-October, when it will be sent to the U.S. president, the statement released by Frank’s office said.

Apparently, the original JTA article informs that four of your esteemed congressmen have already signed on: Franks, Edolphus Towns of NY, Anthony Weiner of NY, and Bill Pascarell of NJ. Edolphus and Bill are respectively black and Italian to show that it is a multiethnic effort.
Are Edolphus and Bill jews?
It shows not so much that these Congressmen are influenced by Israel, but that they are de facto agents of Israel. Thanks for the article.

If he signed it too then he is complicit with the rest. Let us not forget we already have at least two documents specifically pledging “undying loyalty” to the that psychopathic enclave so the treasonous standing of the majority of the House and Senate is already on the record.

I also believe that this is why these partitions are being done, to find the traitors. I find it strange that Barnie Frank is involved because he supports the USA cutting back its military spending, which is not something Israel would want. Maybe the CIA has asked Frank to do it.

hmmm this a wierd anology but i remember my parents gave me a car (hand me down) on the condtion i stopped smoking. The thing is they could take the car away if i didnt stick with the compromise. They never showered me with gifts in hopes that spoiling me would work to kick the habit cuz any good parent knows that rarely works.
So my point is if Pollard is given as a gesture of goodwill and peace is not reached can we get him back like my parents with me and their car? will barney frank take his place in prison if we set him free and no peace deal? why don’t israeli’s work on peace, stay out of the news as aggressors and stop being spoiled brats for at least 5 years and then we talk about pollard. Also, why don’t we spoil the palestinians this way? it is so twisted the way gov deals with Israel and the little side deals getting deeper in this mess.
