VETERANS DAY: Coming Home, the Final Battle Documentary by 8th Grader Max Benning

by Max Benning
Hello Veterans, my name is Max Benning. I am 14 years old and won 3rd place for CSPAN STUDENTCAM for my documentary about the battles veterans and their families face when they return home. For this Veterans Day, I hope this documentary can bring attention to the issues facing our Veterans and help others who may need someone to lean on.
Veterans Today encourages you to view the TV interview with Max Benning about his documentary.
Max is an 8th grader who’s an up and coming future passionate documentary maker. He’s studied Military History and felt strongly that he reach out and do good for the troops. During this Veterans Day week, Max’s outreach is especially appreciated and gives us all hope that our American brethren have our backs. Great Job Max!

I’m so proud of our veterans and moved by the sacrafices people have made to keep us free and safe, that I wrote this song. It’s called ‘No Such Thing As Goodbye.’ Please enjoy – it’s for you! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for your service.

P.S. I want to put together a video using this song and put it on YouTube. If you send me a photo of you, and/or your supportive family I would like to include it, with your permission.
