New WSI Franchisee Discusses His One Week Training At WSI Corporate

Marcus Henry an American Veteran and New Member of the WSI Franchise, Discusses His Training at WSI Headquarters.

American Veteran Marcus Henry travelled to WSI headquarters in Toronto Ontario during the week of November 8-14, to participate with his fellow franchisees in a one week training course, to acquaint himself with the #1 franchise.

Finding the training a fantastic week, Henry is now further prepared to step out into the business world and start on his own. “I have a lot of tools to take back with me and guide me along the way, as I step into this world of digital marketing,” spoke Henry while sitting down for a gourmet lunch provided by WSI. “I just can’t wait to get out there now and start knocking on doors.”

Henry came on board through the Investing in America campaign, which WSI offered as an opportunity to help reboot the American economy by offering the franchise at half the cost to all American veterans in the summer of 2010. “ This franchise is an affordable investment towards your future, but then to take that and have it discounted just for being an American Veteran seems as I have said in the past, a no brainer,” said Marcus.

Henry also plans to take full advantage of the mentoring program offered through WSI, which will put him with an established WSI franchisee to help him to set himself up quickly in his first few months. “My one year goal is to hit the $100,000 mark,” Henry confidently asserted.

During the hands on training at the head office, franchisees were taught how to send out proper business emails. Henry took initative and used the exercise to his advantage. “I decided to plug in real names and my real information, with my signature, and I am already getting replies back from potential clients,” said Henry.

Vice President of Marketing Elizabeth Monaghan, was very impressed with Henry upon hearing about his initative. “Marcus is already showing what it takes to be successful with this franchise simply by taking the  first steps like this on his own, and it has paid off and at the same time proven that WSI has the tools to impress people. I fully believe Marcus will stand out in the near future as a WSI franchisee.”

Henry also spoke about his training while in the Marines and spoke highly of the experience, “the Marines motto is that your NCO is always mentoring you. If someone is just one rank above you, they are mentoring you.” And when Henry came for his training the Toronto head office he spoke highly of the instructors here, “training has been great, the trainers have been able to answer all of the questions put forth by the class and they act in a very professional manner. I think the trainers here have just been fantastic.”

Now heading home to start his WSI business, Henry looks back on his training with WSI and had some final advice for his fellow veterans who may be searching for something like a franchise, “don’t be afraid to step out there, don’t be afraid to do what you already know how to do. As a veteran, you just have to grab a hold of that courage that you already have and tackle it,” said Henry.
