GORDON DUFF: WIKILEAKS, READING ZBIGNIEW BRZEZINSKI’S TAKE

Brzezinski_Zbigniew

IS FORMER NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR, BRZEZINSKI “NOT” TALKING ABOUT ISRAEL?

By Gordon Duff STAFF WRITER/Senior Editor

This week, Judy Woodruff of PBS interviewed Zbigniew Brzezinski and Stephen Hadley, former national security advisers for presidents Carter and Bush.  The subject of the interview was Wikileaks.

Such interviews seldom reveal much, though Brzezinski is one of the most controversial figures of our times, tied to endless conspiracies and rumored to head many of the secret societies tasked with maintaining the New World Order.  The interview is available in full at PBS.  For the most part, Hadley offers little or nothing of substance, much as when he served as national security adviser to President George W. Bush.  Brzezinski, however, is another beast entirely.

The interview is edited, with little exception, as monologue by Brzezinski.

ZBIGNIEW BRZEZINSKI: But I think the most serious issues are not those which are getting the headlines right now. Who cares if Berlusconi is described as a clown. Most Italians agree with that. Who cares if Putin is described as an alpha dog? He probably is flattered by it.

The real issue is, who is feeding Wikipedia on this issue — Wiki — Wiki — WikiLeaks on this issue? They’re getting a lot of information which seems trivial, inconsequential, but some of it seems surprisingly pointed. …The very pointed references to Arab leaders could have as their objective undermining their political credibility at home, because this kind of public identification of their hostility towards Iran could actually play against them at home.

Editor’s note:  The use of the term, “pointed” is key.  This indicates two classes of information and also begins building a hypothesis to support “intent.”  If there is “intent” in the leaks, then they are an intelligence operation, not a leak.

It’s, rather, a question of whether WikiLeaks are being manipulated by interested parties that want to either complicate our relationship with other governments or want to undermine some governments, because some of these items that are being emphasized and have surfaced are very pointed.

And I wonder whether, in fact, there aren’t some operations internationally, intelligence services, that are feeding stuff to WikiLeaks, because it is a unique opportunity to embarrass us, to embarrass our position, but also to undermine our relations with particular governments.

Editor’s note: Brzezinsky goes exactly there, indicating his belief that Wikileaks is tied to an intelligence agency.  This is a full and direct challenge to the credibility of wikileaks showing no reservations whatsoever.

For example, leaving aside the personal gossip about Sarkozy or Berlusconi or Putin, the business about the Turks is clearly calculated in terms of its potential impact on disrupting the American-Turkish relationship….the top leaders, Erdogan and Davutoglu and so forth, are using some really, really, very sharp language.

JUDY WOODRUFF: But this is 250 — it’s a quarter-of-a-million documents.

ZBIGNIEW BRZEZINSKI: Precisely.

JUDY WOODRUFF: How easy would it be to seed this to make sure that it was slanted a certain way?

ZBIGNIEW BRZEZINSKI: Seeding — seeding it is very easy.  I have no doubt that WikiLeaks is getting a lot of the stuff from sort of relatively unimportant sources, like the one that perhaps is identified on the air. But it may be getting stuff at the same time from interested intelligence parties who want to manipulate the process and achieve certain very specific objectives.

Editor’s note:  Brzezinski’s assertion is that “chickenfeed,” things off the news, low level “junk” intel is being “seeded” by an intelligence service to serve an agenda with “very specific objectives.”  Can anything be more clear?

STEPHEN HADLEY :  The — what we know or what has been said publicly is it looks like a data dump through a pretty junior-level person. So, in terms of that material, it looks like a data dump. Generally, in Washington, I have had the rule that, if there are two explanations, one is conspiracy and one is incompetence, you ought to go with incompetence. You will be right 90 percent of the time.

Editor’s note:  The Obama administration withdrew the AIPAC spying convictions when it was clear that Stephen Hadley would be put on the stand by the defense.  Hadley’s very close relationship with the defendants in this spy trial brings up a number of interesting questions which are not hard to answer if you read his response above.

ZBIGNIEW BRZEZINSKI: But, Steve, the other foreign intelligence services don’t have to wait for me to make that suggestion.   I think they can think of it themselves, particularly after the first instance.

WHAT DOES ALL OF THIS MEAN?

Brzeznski is, by a mile, the tough guy in Washington, the best informed and the last person anyone wants to cross.  There is little question of this.  What ever is said, he is also someone who always knows what is going on and, though careful with his words, simply doesn’t bother kissing up to special interest in a humiliating way like some others.

There are many ways this interview can be read but only one meaning can be gotten from what was clearly said.  Brzeznski, based on his analysis, is absolutely certain that Wikileaks is an intelligence operation and not, in any way, what it is said to be in the press.

PBS and Judy Woodruff carefully avoided any speculation about Israel but any examination of this set of documents and earlier “leaks,” if we can call them that, and we really can’t, leave little doubt about which country and which intelligence organization he is referring to.

I had the good fortune to take a couple of courses – one lecture, one seminar – from Brzezinski at Columbia U., back around 1971-72. B. not profound, but with a mind like a laser…able to take a complex problem, and cut through to the core quicker than anyone I’ve ever met. He knows that Israel is a disaster for America and precisely what, via Wikileaks, the Mossad is up to: getting the US to take down Iran.

Brzezinski is above all a politician. He ascertains when he says that some intelligence agency is mixed up with the Wikileaks stuff, but he stops short there and does not tell us which one he had in mind… It brings to my mind Assange: does not tell us about things, we did not suspect that they existed…

Everyone needs to learn that 9/11 was the American regime nuking its own largest city, and it created the China Syndrome which then poisoned thousands of responders and millions of NY residents.

    Google “9/11 Cancers”

    Empire _§ Wikileaks

I describe the assault method like this:

The latest 250,000 document drop reflects an attempt to cause
§ information overload § on the Net.

General work overload was already a worry of industrial sociologists.

On the burgeoning Net, the type of documents being leaked undermines
the attention sought by public-affairs whistle-blowers. As such it leaves
the status quo of our unipolar world, in Empire hands.

Here’s a lawyers’ saying: “Possession is 9/10ths of the law.”

Great article, interesting debates (as always), Thnx G!

Uh, is there a real problem with the so-called Wikileaks? Maybe the problem is our government officials should be a little more careful of their tongues, and hoping to gather enough material for the next great book!

Of course, J. Assange and his Private no-class buddy should spend a few decades imprisoned seperately with no T.V. for their nonchalant attitudes. Better yet, maybe they should have T.V. with one station they can’t turn-off 24/7 – MSNBC. Or maybe Simpson reruns, over and over and over….

    Thanks for that!!!!!

    Brzezinski is an enigma.

What ever has been revealed in the documents released by Wiki leaks, one thing is for sure that the leaks are very embarrassing for the USA and its allies and undermines the world public opinion on the issues of running democratic dispensation in the third world.

From the leaks it seems obvious that the countries under the USA influence are in fact run by the USA government and those countries have little or no power on their domestic and international politics and policies; they are sort of colonies of the USA.

In fact every thing is dictated by the Americans to the benefit of the Americans and detrimental to the country being dictated.

The people of these countries are run by sham elections, duly funded and monitored by USA as such, in a manner, that those that are on the good books of America can only come to power and do the American task, meant for such shamefully “elected” dispensation.

The most exposed are the Arab leaders dignified as kings and sheikhs of their respective domain, who are particularly against the will of their own people and suppress and repress them to be in the good books of Uncle Sam.

Iran and present Turkey governments stand tall in all this fiasco as there seems to be a Zionist agenda being carried out by USA in undermining the governments who are tooth and nail opposed to Israel’s hegemonic behavior.

Brzeznski is indeed a key player in the CFR led shenanigans and back door dealings with Buffet, Soros and others. What is evident in the interview is not all is happy down on the farm now that Jon Boy has been shipped to bootcamp.

It almost sounds like factions shuffling for starting positions.

After years of such spit shine polished performances, I would guarantee these words are not “slips” of the tongue, moreso carefully chosen slithers of venom and delivered with the tactical precision of a brand spanking AGM class Cruise missile.

Brzeznski delivers typically crafted script lines for a play that is showing even at this level the level of power plays and machinations behind the scenes are something nobody should take for granted.

A lot can be taken from this interview but one point of clarity can be surely be confirmed: Not all of the orchestra members are playing the same musical score.

    • stienster  December 2, 2010 at 8:54 am

“…shuffling for starting positions.” Yes. The race is about to begin, but WHERE, and WHEN. Because that race begins with blood-letting, again, with “shock and awe” for their thrill and amusement. Most of ‘us’ lose nights of sleep with our obsessive THINKING, WATCHING, reverse-engineering imagined future moves… but stuck in our human minds, where these slimmy inhuman creatures don’t need to bother, until it fits their plans to clue us in, such as through fictional leaks of the wiki variety.

      great conversation. on page.

  11. Lila Rajiva  December 1, 2010 at 6:27 pm

Well, as much as I’ve known them, the editors at CP are good guys. But I’m afraid they just don’t go some places.

Cockburn was my source for some writing I did on the child abuse scandals (in the 1990s). He dismisses it as hysteria, on the basis of Debbie Nathan’s articles. And I was persuaded by them…until I began researching the whole thing at first-hand and came across John de Camp.

Since then, I see the child abuse story as a much more sinister business, linked to the CIA.

It was one reason I stopped writing for CP. Anything that might smack of “conspiracy” would be returned to me….and unfortunately, that stuff turned out to real and very crucial.

Dissident Voice has been far more open-minded on many topics, by contrast.
Contributors come from a more varied background. Perhaps that’s the reason.

    • Penumbra  December 1, 2010 at 9:04 pm

Any experience with GlobalResearch.ca? I personally find them to be quite inclusive of analysis that opposes mainstream mentalities.

    • Texas Vet  December 2, 2010 at 11:49 pm

      P. I didn’t think there were analyses that oppose mainstream mentalities. Maybe we should shut down the net?

      T.V.

    • Penumbra  December 3, 2010 at 3:38 am

Don’t fret T.V. sooner or later they will.

    • Craig Pepe  December 3, 2010 at 8:00 pm

I think if they havent shut it down already they arent going to

they are totally exposed on so many fronts,

and they are suffering shame and embarassment and loss of respect and loss of cvreditibilty very quiet but sever severe damage they are incurring,

20 years of brainwashing undone in a month or so

and they havent shut it down yet

    • Syed Zaidi  December 8, 2010 at 3:39 am

You do find a lot of good stuff in GlobalResearch — but, then, as Mike Rivero points out about disinformation, like rat poison it is 99% good stuff. Some years ago — when we did not have a basis for the clear convictions about 9/11 that we now do, thanks to a core group of people starring Chris Bollyn, David Ray Griffin, Steven Jones and Richard Gage that have won one’s trust — Michel Chossudovsky, the main person behind GlobalResearch authored a very long and convoluted article that left one with the clear sense that the main culprits behind 9/11 were the Pakistanis and Saudis. The only place I have seen Chossudovsky treated with suspicion is judicial-inc.biz, now shut down under ADL pressure and unable to find a server anywhere in the world — not even Switzerland.

  12. reamonnk  December 1, 2010 at 5:34 pm

and now you know why Brzezinski is the bogeyman NWO monster of the controlled opposition…just like Carter.

Just google = Brzezinski, NWO, 911, We are Change… and look how much conspirotard material comes up. The 911 kosher truth movement has been trying to pin 911 on Brzezinski for years.

I have a new rule now, whenever I see known zionist gatekeepers in the truth movement consistently attacking someone as the face of the NWO, I see if they have ever taken any anti-Israel/pro Palestinian stances. 90% of the time they have.

I know Brzezinski isn’t a boyscout…but he’s not the “head of the snake” as some kosher 911 personalities like to paint him.

  13. Cpt. Swindle  December 1, 2010 at 5:02 pm

Brezinski is a mystery wrapped in an enigma. He said that the US should extend the olive branch to Iran as a hedge against Russia and China. He also said we should do everything in our power to stop the Israeli’s from dragging us into another war that this time will be catastrophic to America. He went as far as saying that we should shoot down Israeli planes as they fly over soverign Iraqi airspace. Sounds good to me. But also he is heavily tied into the globalist totalitarian cheerleaders concerned about the masses becoming aware. So Brezinski, whats up dog?

    • Soap Box  December 4, 2010 at 11:09 am

      Nice Cpt Swindle!

  14. Lila Rajiva  December 1, 2010 at 3:43 pm

Nice catch, Gordon. Confirms what I and others have felt.
The data dump is meant to conceal or diffuse the existence of an actual intention.
The question is why are all the so-called alternative sites giving wikileaks a free pass?

Maybe that isn’t much of a question any more…

    • Gordon Duff  December 1, 2010 at 4:23 pm

      Lila
      Because they are bad….
I wish I could give you another answer. One of your favorites, one you wrote for..tops the list.
      g

    • foo  December 1, 2010 at 5:55 pm

Yes, Gordon, Counterpunch does indeed top the list. (And we know what kind of list that is!)

This article, dated September 9/10, 2006, by Alexander Cockburn, put the final nail in their credibility coffin:

      http://www.counterpunch.org/cockburn09092006.html

The title of the article was “The 9/11 Conspiracy Nuts,” in which he bloviated:

“…I meet people who start quietly, asking me “what I think about 9/11”. What they are actually trying to find out is whether I’m part of the coven…”

      [HEAVY SIGH]

He, though, is the one, stirring the pot of witch’s brew. Several paragraphs later, comes this poison:

“…But in my view, the Warren Commission, as confirmed in almost all essentials by the House Committee on Assassinations in the late 1970s, had it right and Oswald fired the fatal shots from the Schoolbook Depository…”

      Tilt! Game Over!

    • Berthe  December 1, 2010 at 5:26 pm

Because the high profile alternative sites are not who you think they are? If they have almost $8 million in debt (Salon.com), merge with Sidney and Jane Harman’s Newsweek (Daily Beast), are affiliated with The Nation (Mondoweiss) or similar, they are not that alternative? I have a theory that these alternative sites are a good cop/bad cop strategy to take up space and ultimately distract from the truly important.

I ask myself how anyone, anyone honest, could see these Wikileaks revelations as more important and worthy of discussion than the official government line that WTC Building 7 collapsed because it just got too hot in there! The new phenomenon of thermal expansion. That never makes it onto the high profile alternative sites.

    • Michael J Volz  December 2, 2010 at 11:20 am

Well, Pollard is still in prison so he didn’t do it. With all the elite israeli intelligence and insecurity experts in “our” government, almost everyone in America has top secret clearance so I guess it could be anybody except homeless men who do not get a check for doing nothing usefull as the rest do.
