The Lion of Judah

As the Egyptians prepare for gigantic protests to force out the dictator Mubarak, a legacy of neglect, blood, and death will live through the coming centuries. The victims are honored as events unfolding in Egypt have injected in the people the giddy feeling one gets when changing history by standing with brothers and sisters against tyranny. Who are the Homeless, Hungry, Needy in America? Part 1, Chapter 2 -St. Petersburg, Florida

After 3-months of interacting with hundreds of Homeless Men and Women mostly in their 40′s and 50′s and 60′s, on a per capita basis, I found this group to be more honest and down-to-earth, more compassionate and less condescending, more informed about World, National and Local News, and if not more book smarter-more street-smart, and more intellectually and philosophically wise than their general public counterparts who have never been homeless. Moreover, I also found that the only real difference between the disorderly conduct associated with alcohol and/or drug abuse by some of the Homeless of all age groups and that of my neighbors in the same category in various housing units where I have lived over the last 40-years, or whom I have met on the streets, buses, restaurants, bars and whom had secured housing, is that my neighbors and others mentioned had secured housing, and the Homeless did not.

Egypt: With Greatest Victory in Terror War at Hand US Leaders Still Blinded by the Light

It’s incredible, really. The president of the United States can’t bring himself to talk about democracy in the Middle East. He can dance around it, use euphemisms, throw out words like “freedom” and “tolerance” and “non-violent” and especially “reform,” but he can’t say the one word that really matters: democracy. How did this happen?
