If more people were armed at the meet and greet…less people would have been shot.
This shows that more weapons would have been a good thing.The gunman could have been stopped.
Instead of blaming Sara…blame the liberals..for always trying to disarm this nation..
Blame the liberals..for destroying this nation with their communism and pissing off everyone…Everyone hates them..
Blame the liberals..for not respecting the will of the people.
If the government was being ran according to the Constitution..which the democrats and the past several presidents have totally trashed…this would have never happened..
Blames the progressives…who are progressing this nation to its destruction…
and if you libs get your way…and the gov takes all our guns..remember this post..as they come and steal your property..your freedom..and perhaps your life..
WHY DO I SAY THIS? Because every nation that has been disarmed..in less than 20 years..tyrants become their leaders..and they kill whomever they wish. The politicians murder the people..Will you have the same anger when that happens? I suspect so..as it will be you that is getting shot..

Bad guys WILL ALWAYS have weapons..as they dont abide by the law. Disarming the people..is the most foolish thing to do..and any who advocate it…have ulterior motives..such as taking over thins nation..Making us helpless as babies so we cannot stop them..like they did in Europe..
Only the brainless think taking guns from people is a good thing..

No matter what she put on the net…this young shooter.would have done it anyway..If more of the people attending the meet and greet were armed..The outcome would have been much better…more people would have lived…perhaps even all of them..

Carolyn McCarthy readies gun control bill
One of the fiercest gun-control advocates in Congress, Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-N.Y.), pounced on the shooting massacre in Tucson Sunday, promising to introduce legislation as soon as Monday targeting the high-capacity ammunition clip the gunman used.
Where were you Tess, during the Bush/Cheney administration? Two wars draining us trillions of dollars, hundreds of thousands of people dead, displaced, thousands of servicemen and women – dead, and so badly wounded many cannot see, walk, or, think. And the worst part about it – no WMD to justify invasion of Iraq. All sacrificed on a lie.
Sarah Palin and the rest of these advocates of “Free Speech For Me – You Don’t Have It” incites people with her rotten attacks on what used to be simply “another party.” In Palin’s eyes, those of the Tea Party Clan, and the Fox Clan – Democrats, Liberals and Progressives are the “enemy.” She and others urge the use of bullets, if ballots don’t work. She draws sniper scope cross hairs on Congressional opponents’ districts. “Gabby” Gifford had a cross hair on her district in Tucson.
Sarah Palin is one of many who along with Tea Party Clan members wave Nazi swastikas, the feared SS insignia, and pictures of madman Hitler. That’s not us, that’s what we think of this government and the people in it, are the explanations for such anger.
Palin, Fox and Limbaugh have been stirring a pot of hate and lies for the past two years.
Freedom of speech only exists for those who sport weapons to town meetings, and yell obscenities at Congress and the president.
I’m one of those liberals in hiding fearing, that the Tea Party will carry out its plan to neuter me and spay my wife, my daughter and other relatives. It’s just like the good ol’ days in the 30s when Hitler suffocated free speech and shot those who attempted to use it.
Thank you, Ken. I concur. I don’t hide. Fear disrupts ability to reason and out-wit, out-think the fearmongers. Many days I am grateful that I played chess at a time when girls weren’t supposed to be able to do this. Strategic thinking. We,liberals, do know how to think. Yep, and I am a veteran, too. Sometimes in life we meet someone who change our worldview..Jack Brightnose was one of those people.
A Cree Medicine man who was taken from his loving family at an early age and consigned to an “Indian’ school where his hair was cut and he was stripped naked before the other students for speaking his own savage language…Brightnose survived his “education” and after battling alcoholism he spent the last 25 years of his life reaching out to anyone in need. A truly giving man and elder.
Brightnose taught me much including that “Words are magic. That the very idea that by making sound we can paint pictures in the minds of others is magical. We get to choose whether we practice white (love) or black (fear) magic.”
Brightnose also told me that whenever we see an eagle or hawk circling they are messengers bringing us a message from someone who has passed on.
Shortly after his death in 2001 my wife and I had taken our dogs out to the mountains west of town to day camp and a red tail hawk started circling overhead. I told her what Brightnose had said and she asked if I thought that he was sending me a message?
Yes, and the message is always the same, “Life is a gift from Creator and to be truly appreciated it must be shared with others. Creator also gave us free will so that we can choose the road we walk in life. We can choose the Red Road which is based on love (giving of oneself) or we can choose the Black Road which is based on fear (focus on self).”
Words can created hate and can kill or they can share love and heal…we all get to choose.

I am continually surprised by the knowledge some young people have. Just because we’re older or more mature, we don’t listen to them. What they offer us is the kind of wisdom that has been dulled in us by age, by pain and by the heartache of living. I am placing my trust in my niece’s generation. She’s a sophomore in college now and she has a better handle on the going on in the world than I ever had. She will still have problems, but so far she’s made me very proud. I hope she will always take the red path. Even if it’s hard and even cruel sometimes, I believe it will strengthen her for the rest of her life.
