What do human rights mean when a nation of human beings are officially ‘less-than’? What political influence does this anti-human movement hold in the United States, the beacon of freedom and the shining light on the hill?

Are Palestinians human, and if so what rights accrue? A good man once wrote, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.”

    I presented you with enough evidence which prove that the Arabs are invaders and they are not the Indigenous people of the Holy Land (I don’t know who Leon Uris or Joan peters are, and I certainly don’t need them to prove my point), and all you did was calling me a Zionist turning reality on its head, without off course providing any evidence that can back your poor claim – “we were here first” or “We have lived here for thousands of years”. The only reason that your version of the truth is known throughout the world is the result of a systematic indoctrination through cheap propaganda that depicts the Palestinians as the “Indians” of the holy land. Give it a rest already.
    I have no idea why you chose to write about Condoleeza Rice but I will say this:
    1. I don’t know what that woman’s plans were for the Palestinian refugees but the official stand of the Israeli government is that the refugees will be able to return to the Palestinian state that will be established, but not to the state of Israel. A flow like that will destroy it – If you support that solution (refugees returning to Israel), I have no choice but to conclude that you’re a Hamas sympathizer. Speaking of Hamas – thanks to miss rice and her cowboy president, the middle east has witnessed the first ever free election which resulted in this Nazi like organization winning the 2008 election held in the Palestinian authority. Way to go Condie.
    2. Speaking of Nazis – I hope you weren’t trying to compare between the Palestinian refugees and the Jews in Nazi Germany. That will be very foolish. You don’t have to worry about your precious Palestinians, they will not be thrown into the gas chambers or the crematoriums.

    Question: If peace will be achieved between the Israelis and the Palestinians, and the end of the conflict will be declared, (meaning no more demands will be brought by either side) will that satisfy you?

  2. Riley, Riley , Riley — you make me laugh — Israel just can’t face the truth. Everytime there is a film on youtube about the REALITY of what happens to Palestinians, the Zionists cry “Pallywood!” and , they continue, “It is all FAKE PALLYWOOD FILM ! Don’t you know the Muzzies ( sic ) hide behind children and use women as human shields? It is WE the IDF who are the real warriors, and a moral fighthing force.”

    But — by now we all know that it is the other way round : What ever the pro Israel lobby say needs to be turned up side down, or viewed as its exact opposite to find the real truth.

    • The truth is simple: This manipulative picture was taken the way it did so it would look like the soldier is pointing his rifle at the child.
      That’s how the soldier holds his rifle (close to and infront of his chest), and that’s how some soldiers walk on patrols in west bank cities. Been there, done that.
      Any person with half a brain can see that the soldier isn’t pointing the rifle at the child.
      This comment is moderated, the deleted one was much stronger.

      • AR,I don’t know at all if the soldier is pointing his gun at the child, or whether he is just waiving it around, callously, macho style — I don’t know –But one thing I do know is that the picture has powerful literal and symbolic value,a communicative power which is very real and truthful. The swaggering young soldier’s parents were probably from Latvia or Lithuania or Paris. The young child’s ancestors have lived on the land for thousands of years.

        Whose side are most right thinking, fair people going to be on?

        Think about it.

        And, after we have seen the mass killing in Gaza, after we have seen the robbery of land for sixty years now — who are we going to believe? A settler from Moldova, Brooklyn or Kiev — or a rightful owner of the land of Palestine?

        • Of course this picture “has powerful literal and symbolic value, a communicative power which is very real and truthful”, that’s what the Palestinian propaganda does, it takes a photo of a soldier holding a rifle with a Palestinian child in front of it, and turns it into something that is the opposite of what it actually is – A photo that makes the Palestinians look less than humans. Many people will fall for that trap.

          And as for what you wrote: “The young child’s ancestors have lived on the land for thousands of years”. I don’t really think you actually believe that. If you think that Palestinians’ ancestors are indigenous to the land you are sadly mistaken. The oldest Arab family (Hamula) is “Nusseibeh” which immigrated to Jerusalem in the 7th century with the wave of the Islamic conquests. The “Al-Husayni” family immigrated in the 13th century. The “Nashashibi” immigrated in the 15th century. The “Doghmush” family immigrated in the beginning of the 20th century and the list goes on. The ethnic origin of these families was indeed mostly Arabic. (read about them in Wikipedia).
          The family names of many Arabs who now reside in the Holy Land reveal their country of origin: Masri (from Egypt), Iraqi (from Iraq), Tarabulsi (from Tarabulus-Tripoli in Lebanon), Hourani (from Houran in Syria), Husayni (from Jordan), and Saudi (from Saudi Arabia).
          The Arab invasion to Palestine is widely recorded, but I will note 2 great men who described it the best: Franklin D. Roosevelt, said in May 17, 1939 that the Arab immigration to Palestine since 1921 was much greater than Jewish immigration.
          British Prime Minister Winston Churchill noted the Arab influx. Churchill, a veteran of the early years of the British mandate in the Holy Land, noted in 1939 that “far from being persecuted the Arabs have crowded into the country and multiplied till their population has increased more than even all world Jewry could lift up the Jewish population”.
          There for to claim that this child’s ancestors have lived on the land for thousands of years is ridiculous and unreasonable.
          Some historians/researchers like Walid Khalidi claim that the Palestinians are descended of the ancient Hebrews and the Canaanites. That theory doesn’t hold water.
          It is the Jewish presence in the holy land that is very well documented for thousands of years. In 1377, Ibn Khaldun, one of the most creditable Arab historians, wrote: “Jewish sovereignty in the Land of Israel extended over 1400 years… It was the Jews who implanted the culture and customs of the permanent settlement”.
          The Jews maintained their presence in the holy land for thousands of years, and their history cannot be erased. The argument about the soldier’s origin is completely futile. It doesn’t matter where his parents are from, or if they are descendants of the “Khazars” (another malicious propaganda that was discredited by genetic research), they are Jews, and their right for the land of Israel is undeniable. I guess This is why you and I will never reach a compromise.
          And what about “Palestinian” history? The name “Palestina” is a Latin-Roman name based on the Hebrew Biblical name of the ancient “Philistines” — “Plishtim” in Hebrew. The translation of this name to English is: “invaders”. The Philistines arrived from the Mediterranean islands near Greece and invaded the land about 4000 years ago . The Philistines are extinct since approximately 2000 years ago, and have no ancestral or historical relationship to Arabs. Before 1917, during the 400-years rule of the Ottoman empire, the Ottomans did not call the Holy Land “Palestina”. The British decided to renew this ancient name and called the land “Palestine”. The local Arabs never called themselves “Palestinians”, not even during the British mandate. Both Arab and British leaders referred to them only as “Arabs”. For example: The Hope-Simpson report published by the British in 1930, contains the phrase “the number of Palestinian unemployed, whether Arab, Jew or other…”. “Palestinian” was used only as an adjective in reference to the location and also included Jews. The Arab inhabitants were always referred to as “Arabs”. The word “Palestinians” does not appear anywhere in this report. “Palestinian Arabs”, “Palestinian Jews”, and “Palestinian Christians” were common terms. But, “Palestinians”, as a noun, before 1948, was not yet invented. After the declaration of the state of Israel in 1948 the Arabs invented for themselves a name in English -“Palestinians”. This group of Arabs, who started calling themselves “the Palestinian nation” after 1948, does not have an original name in their native Arabic language.

          To sum things up, I will say this: Israel is a fact and is here to stay but only in the June 4th 1967 borders. It must end the occupation in the west bank, and the sooner the better. Moreover, the Israelis and their neighbors must stop dwell on the past, and start solving the problems of the present, for the sake of the future.

          And don’t get me started on the “mass killing” in Gaza. I’m too tired.

            If you honestly expect us to think a European Zionist from Kiev, Krakow Lithuania, Latvia, Amsterdam and Brooklyn has more right to the land than the Palestinians ……well….you can try, but it isn’t going to get you anywhere anymore : the internet has put paid to that game. We know the truth now about history.

            You can try your sophistry, and play around with history and dates and semantics all you want — Your cover is blown — no one beleives that Leon Uris “Exodus” view of culture, history, genealogy, reality, archaology and history anymore. Joan Peters has left the building I am sorry to tell you.

            The real irony is, that we now learn that Condoleeza Rice was planning behind the scenes to ship off the Palestinians to empty land in South America….ah, the irony — of course, you’ll remember that the Nazis , when trying to deal with the Jewish population, were planning to ship the Jews off to Madagascar, Uganda or Argentina….
            ( it is also ironic that Condie Rice, from slave ancestry , should come up with such a plan )

  4. That photo I would bet is photoshop. Israel’s enemy uses the software to put children or toys planted on the photo to turn viewer’s emotions.

  5. Gilad speaks with directness and courage, and he says things that gentiles just could not say, and thus, he is valuable to the whole discourse and debate re the I/P struggle.

    Gentiles could just not get away with saying what he says.
