First Amendment—Minus One
Corporate media consolidation is no news and an attack on your capacity to think
Recently a MSNBC host has been deleted. I found his speech, ideas, vilification of people I admire and political ideas as awful.
I am going to miss him. In America those that speak against the popular presentation of “how things” should be must continue to be a honored aspect of our national culture.
None of know why MSNBC has taken a very drastic step in removing a major talk show host. Was it for financial, political, philosophical, personal or social reasons? We the people don’t know! Perhaps we will never know. He may have been removed for reasons that are none of our business.
The man removed said next to nothing I liked or agreed with. I could only view his program for segments of time – he really upset my view of my world – couldn’t stand to not tune into his program for a few minutes at a time to: “Find out what “THEY” are up to!” Don’t know what “THEY” are up to now.
The guy removed is a vocal, opinionated type known to speak from the heart. Just the type of guy America needs.
While I am at it – there is another news channel that puts speakers on it that want some of our retirements. Really angers me – but – removing them from speaking publicly is just wrong in a free nation.
Now, speaking against the war effort and the military has a negative impact on our troops in battle and the national mission. Shutting down speech however – not among a free people.
A public propaganda station recently got rid of a man because of what he said. Come America, stop now. Who is the next American hundreds of thousands of us have sacrificed for going to be that is made shut up?
The First Amendment and its freedoms folks makes us what we are. A free people.

Our job as citizens of the United States is to sit down, shut up, and believe every lie the state-run media belches daily. I mean, come on, we’re not worth telling the truth to. Who do we think we are? Truth is beyond our limited capacities to comprehend. We should let “THEM” do our thinking for us. The powers-that-be have our best interests stored away in their little black hearts and we should love them for that. After all, in the end, didn’t Winston Smith come to love Big Brother just as that bullet was slamming into his skull.
Yes, Winston finally loved Big Brother. I too fear we may become Winston’s and finally love Big Brother (Big Sister too – she’s tagging along). People must be vigilant with freedom. I am not a conspiracy type. There is no movement to “take over America” by a particluar group. My view is that we are being “taken over” one rule, one law, one method of control at a time – all in the name of helping us, taking care of us, giving us “options”. “It” creeps up on we the people. Big governement is Big Brother.
Thank you, Harry for your response.

Sorry Dale, but your world view is that of the many who still drink the Kool-Aid and believe the mantras first inculcated into them by controlled media and, with regard to those in uniform, subsequently reinforced and deepened to the point of blindly jingoistic flag waving sociopathy/psychopathy by the Military Industrial Complex.
Do not add insult to injury, however, by even daring to suggest that our troops are battling “for a NATIONAl mission”. What and whom they battle for has nothing whatsoever to do with the people of this nation (nor for their benefit) and everything to do with the furtherance of Washington’s, Tel Aviv’s and especially the City of London’s elite Central Asian hegemonic ambitions (ala the agenda of the CFR/Chatham House) as well as private corporate/banking profits.
To continue to regurgitate the patented memes of militaristic jingoism is to endorse the actions of those who are concurrently dismantling all this nation was founded to represent even while they use our gullible, brainwashed troops to dismantle and destroy the lives and societies of countless millions around the world.
Oberman, like all other mainstream media mouthpieces, did nothing to reveal the depth of the criminality of Washington nor of our military establishment which serves as its trained attack dogs. Good riddance to him and may all those like him soon follow.
And btw, best recheck the true legal standing of US Citizens, by legal presumption under the 14th Amendment we are not “Free”, but chattel pledged as collateral against the unpayable debt of this nation. Read the Congressional record (with HJR citation to the 1933 Executive Orders signed by FDR) of the 1993 speech delivered by James Trafficant yourself and become informed…

Well written highly intellegent response, much of which I do not agree with. Note however that as a free American you may post your response without fear. You may take the proverbial soap box, go to any corner in America and say whatever you choose (I know, we don’t allow the “Fire” call in a movie theater or other speech that can endanger people). The theme of the article is that we the people must not allow a governement entity to limit our right to express ourselves. This web site is an excellent example of the exercise of First Amendment rigthts.
Hundreds of thousands of Americans have given their lives in defense of the United States and its freedoms. What the United States does with the sacrifice of our military is the responsiblity of we the people. The military has and always will defend the United States. Political issues do not diminish their efforts.
The 14th Amendment provides equal protection to all of us. It is an important historical inclusion in our constitution. Your other refernce I had not read before. I remember when currency said: “Payable to the bearer on demand” (yes, I am that old). I share your concerns about the finacial state of our country.
Take care and best wishes.

Sorry, Dale, you’re wrong and Penumbra is right!

You need to study the true history of the wars Americans have fought – including the Civil War. American soldiers have been dying – not for America, but for Israel!
But let’s just start with WWI which, until the signing of the Balfour Declaration, America had no part in.
Since the Rothschild (a Zionist) cartel had coerced Wilson into signing the Federal Reserve Act, the cartel knew they could control him. (The Zionist plan from the 18th century was to gain Palestine for Israel.) When Germany offered Britain a treaty, Rothschild made a deal with Britain to bring America into the war in exchange for a “deed” to Palestine – called the Balfour Declaration.
The Zionist always make a ton of money off wars. They invest in both sides (much like our presidential elections) and drive taxpayers deeper into debt for the cost of the war. In fact, that’s where “Baron Rothschild” got his beginnings.
Originally his name was Mayer Amschel Bauer…
“A few years after his father’s death Mayer Amschel Bauer went to work as a clerk in a bank owned by the Oppenheimers in Hannover. His superior ability was quickly recognized and his advancement within the firm was swift. He was awarded a junior partnership.
Shortly thereafter he returned to Frankurt where he was able to purchase the business his father had established in 1750. The big Red Shield was still displayed over the door. Recognizing the true significance of the Red Shield (his father had adopted it as his emblem from the Red Flag which was the emblem of the revolutionary minded Jews in Eastern Europe), Mayer Amschel Bauer changed his name to Rothschild; in this way the House of Rothschild came into being.
The base for a vast accmulation of wealth was laid during the 1760s when Amschel Rothschild renewed his acquaintance with General von Estorff for whom he ran errands while employed at the Oppenheimer Bank.
When Rothschild discovered that the general, who was now attached to the court of Prince William of Hanau, was interested in rare coins he decided to take full advantage of the situation. By offering valuable coins and trinkets at discount prices he soon ingratiated himself with the general and other influential members of the court.
One day he was ushered into the presence of Prince William himself. His Highness bought a handful of his rarest medals and coins. This was the first transaction between a Rothschild and a head of state. Soon Rothschild was doing business with other princes.”

History records that William of Hanau, “whose crest had been famous in Germany since the Middle Ages,” was a dealer in human flesh. For a price the Prince, who was closely related to the various royal families of Europe, would rent out troops to any nation. HIS BEST CUSTOMER WAS THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT WHICH WANTED TROOPS FOR SUCH PROJECTS AS TRYING TO KEEP THE AMERICAN COLONISTS IN LINE.
He did exceptionally well with his ‘rent-a-troop’ business. When he died he left the largest fortune ever accumulated in Europe to that time, $200,000,000. Rothschild biographer Frederic Morton describes William as “Europe’s most blue-cold blooded loan shark” (The Rothschilds, Fawcett Crest, 1961, p. 40).

Hanau is a great place. Been there. State of Hesse, I believe – hence the Hessian of our first war against Great Britain.
I am tempted (not committed however) to write about the service of line officers in the Army of Israel. Good guys and real pros. Point is that “on the line” soliders are simply soliders. At war we face an enemy. We do not make the wars – governements and religions do – not the guys on the line. Condider attorneys that argue in court. Most do not take court room arguments outside of court. Editorial writers often argue with great vigor. They would not, however support the silencing of their editorial adversary!
Moms and Dads, young couples, little kids simply want to be left in peace. Soliders want to end the wars they are involved in – not prolong them. In America – we have the system as it is. We as “little people” have very limited influence. We can vote and contribute small portions of our limited personal funds towards political campaigns. The way of world. Not going to change. Rich people control a lot of what we do, agreed? Don’t like it – but – just the way it is. Have to live within it. What think you? You write quite well. Thank you for your comments.
