A LITTLE TALK RADIO

As our readership is now half international, we have tended to move toward the sexy stuff early on, the “flavor of the week” atrocities of which there are no shortages but a domestic issue hit me very much the wrong way.
This week, the GOP, the “folksy” name given to the Republican Party, did what every educated and rational person expected, moved to cut over $100 billion in military veterans support over the next decade beginning by ending health care for over 1.3 million American heroes.
This isn’t meant to offset hard choices for a more deserving group but rather to underwrite continued tax abatements for corporations and “high net worth” individuals.
The majority of veterans and nearly all military retirees support the Republican Party. The “mainstream” veterans groups that receive large government subsidies, the ones who run gambling clubs and cheap bars but, in fact, do damned little else, are, in fact, part of the Republican Party.
They are now squealing like stuck pigs at this betrayal, or at least making the sounds. In fact, though leading their membership to utter ruin and not for the first time, they are getting exactly what they expected, what they knew was coming and what they worked hard for but hide from their membership.
“Mainstream” veterans groups have been little but corporate “shills” since their inception. Some supported Hitler, some were partially founded by Mussolini and the most powerful of them have been stabbing veterans in the backs all along.
The explanation? The “veterans groups,” and I am using the term “veteran’ very loosely, are the worst of the worst, corrupt Washington insiders who have tied themselves to the “fatcat” circuit of lobbyists and corruption while duping their membership with flag waving and war mongering.
It gets worse. The 1.3 million families that lose their veteran health care were, in fact, covered for only that one member. The rest of the family in almost every case, we are talking over 90%, have no health care at all. Kids don’t see dentists, their teeth rot out of their mouths and the only health care is when someone is so sick they think they are going to die.
Then they show up at a local emergency room as a charity patient or risk bankruptcy. The medical care they get is pitiful and inadequate, invariably substandard by any measure. Everyone knows this!
The single largest source of bankruptcies in America is health care bills for the uninsured. However, it is almost impossible for veterans and others to file bankruptcy anymore because of health care bills because of new laws pushed through by the Republican Party.
Instead, they lose their homes.
Here in Ohio, only 13% of folks belong to trade unions. That number, with new laws outlawing worker organizations, our new “Third Reich,” that number is meant to go down to 6 or 7%.
Very few workers without union representation have comprehensive health insurance. Some have “co-pay” and discount plans but only union workers have substantial benefits and those have been cut back for decades.
The veterans, the former union workers are all supposed to move to “Medicaid,” a program for low income and poor.
One might also ask why so many veterans and workers are poor.
One might also note that bills have been introduced to end Medicaid and even Social Security.
For those of you who voted for this “reverse Robin Hood” government, stealing from workers to give to the rich, I only hope your family is hit so hard between the eyes by your own stupidity that you learn something finally.
CORPORATIONS
Last year, 800 “American” corporations moved to Zug, Switzerland. Their offices? Some have lawyers there, some have suites but many have a card table and folding chair. This is their “headquarters.” You see, most “American” corps are a series of corporations. Few, anymore, have anything more than a minor American presence with their actual operations in the Cayman Islands, BVI (British Virgin Islands) or Vanuatu (yes, there is such a place, theoretically I work there myself but can’t find it on a map).
Haliburton and Blackwater? They aren’t American. In fact, the “big brand” corporations you recognize as being as American as mom or apple pie or race riots are now “technically” located in Dubai or some other “safe haven” with no regulations, loose corruption laws, no extradition and low or no taxes.
Last year, General Electric made $14 billion and, not only paid NO taxes but got a $3.2 billion dollar “bail out.” The only thing American about General Electric is its logo.
Corporations, not only don’t employ many Americans anymore nor pay taxes here, their profits, especially those made doing business in the US, are kept overseas, invested overseas and eventually spent overseas.
Problem is, Americas corrupt government taxes the rest of us to death to subsidize these same corporations. For every regulator and inspector, there are ten “gimme” folks pushing contracts to their corporate buddies or doing favors such as sending American troops to fight wars for corporations that are no longer American at all.
When you wonder what kind of taxes a corporate fat-cat pays on is private jet or his beachfront place in the Hamptons, check into what a “holding company” is. They own the jet. They own the mansion. The money that bought them was never taxed. 98% of what people think is America’s wealth lives “offshore.”
Why deal with America anyway, it’s poor, dirty, violent, has terrible health care for all but the rich and is “inconvenient,” except for a few “safe” spots like Jupiter Island or Brentwood, which are, of course, hardly part of America at all. If you have trouble with a maid or houseboy, you can’t rape and murder them, not in most American towns anyway, something the wealthy and powerful seem to have a proclivity for.
Corporate America loves drug running and human trafficking, but that’s a story for another day.
Just think, those corporations that aren’t really American at all, not only have their own private political party, the good old “GOP,” but they also have millions of voters, addicted to propaganda about “socialism” who have pandered away their freedom and human dignity because of bad brain chemistry. Nuff sed.
HISTORY, THE REAL THREAT TO ISRAEL’S SECURITY
This week, the news for those who can find it, was largely about Gaza and Israel. We will get into that in a bit. Reading about Gaza usually makes people leave, so I will move it down the page.
What few Americans know is that hundreds, perhaps even a couple thousand people, mostly academics, are imprisoned around the world for “thought crimes.” These folks aren’t locked up in China, Cuba or North Korea. They are in jail in Australia, Canada, Germany, Austria and a dozen other “free” countries. Their crime? They taught history.
Am I kidding?
Most Americans haven’t heard of “holocaust denial” or if they have, they were told that the people involved were like the people who keep asking President Obama for a birth certificate “they” are willing to accept.
Holocaust Denial or “Historical Revisionism” is based on the belief that wartime propaganda against Germany, much of it totally crazy stuff out of Stalin’s Russia, was written into the history books after World War II as part of a plot. Academics have risked removal or worse if they delve a bit too deeply into some mysterious and dark secrets about, not just the holocaust but even our ally Russia. Many historians, including some of the best, openly advocate throwing out everything we think we know about Hitler, the holocaust, Stalin and who was who and what was what involving World War II.
Does their point of view make sense? I leave that one up to you. However it isn’t just “holocaust denialists” who get into trouble but rather highly respected very “conventional” historians as well.
One such individual was David Irving. Many of us grew up on his books. Irving is the best known World War II historian, his books have been made into films, always well researched and controversial. Irving was riding high until he started researching Adolf Hitler.
Two things came to light:
- Hitler’s private papers, not only said nothing about killing off Jews, but quite the opposite. His real history, the documents real scholars found showed Hitler, on one hand to be obsessed with a Jewish conspiracy he believed wanted to destroy the Christian world and, on the other showed “concern” for the welfare of Germany’s Jewish population. Let me moderate the term “concern.” If I am concerned about someone, I don’t have them thrown into a “camp.” All the speeches and meetings we see on TV and movies about the “final solution” have no basis in documents. Most are based on the testimony of Rudolf Hoess, the man responsible for “gas chambers and lamp shades” being part of legally mandated and highly regulated “holocaust dogma.” Hoess was tortured and later executed by the Russians. He recanted his testimony. But you say, “everybody knows” about the holocaust. Yes, I took my kids to Dachau like any good parent.
- Considerable documentation exists showing that Hitler cut a deal with the Zionists to establish the State of Israel as a German/Jewish colony in the Middle East, armed to the teeth, to offset the influence of the English and the French. There is tons of hard documentation on this. Hitler wanted Israel armed to the teeth to act as his “junkyard dog” controlling access to the Suez Canal and the region’s oil. (much had been located by that time)
Irving was accused of “thought crimes” and imprisoned. Letting this information go public, what ever “this information” is, had to be stopped. A massive campaign of selling the holocaust and damning Christians and Muslims en masse has gone on for decades now. Irving questioned “holocaust dogma” and went to jail. Countries like Australia even send people to prison for criticizing Israel’s bombing of Gaza. Sound outlandish?
If only I were making it up. Check on it.
Another victim of “thought crime” persecution is Dr. Frederick Toben, a gentle and polite man whose specialty is 19th century Germany philosophers. Some equate Toben with Satan himself. There are few people less threatening and less extremist than Toben.
Mark my words, these will be the real heroes of our age, albeit an unlikely group, bow ties and tweeds. When our history was hijacked out of political expediency, our real heritage went with it. One lie led to another and another until nothing true was left and truth itself became a crime.
The end result is that the history we teach in our schools regarding World War II is largely false. Jews are made to believe they were hated and butchered by Germans out of total insanity. Germans have been made to feel like a nation of pariahs. Germans, enraged at the knowledge that millions of their people were murdered by the Soviets and starved to death by the Americans after the war, something entirely suppressed in history books, are likely to get fed up eventually.
There was a trial in Canada for a man called Ernst Zundel. He claimed that much of the holocaust never happened. The evidence brought out in this trial overturned everything we were all taught to believe.
The real loss is our history. Israel has uses the holocaust as an excuse for behavior that has made them the most hated nation on earth. The reasons for this? Israel acts exactly like the nation Adolf Hitler planned for them to be.
Serious historians who question this are removed from their jobs, smeared, threatened, imprisoned and even murdered. Many of them are Jews.
What is the real truth? I don’t have a clue. I do know that when I hear Israel say “Never Again,” I think to myself, what needs to stop is what they are doing right now. Time “they” took their own advice. Until that time, for those living in Canada, Europe and maybe even the United States, do not publicly discuss these last few paragraphs. It could cost you your job and even your freedom.
WISCONSIN ELECTION
Sources report that the election results in Wisconsin were tampered with. As the election was to decide the makeup of the Supreme Court, the same judicial body that would hear any cases involving election tampering, phonying up election results was considered a safe bet, same as in Ohio in 2004 and 2000.
With President Obama’s hands tied because of the threatened shutdown of the government, he was blackmailed from sending in the FBI to investigate.
Rigging an election this publicly in the United States is unlikely to go unchallenged, and I don’t mean through the non-existent legal system.
GAZA
Last week, Judge Goldstone, who had written a report claiming both Hamas and Israel were guilty of war crimes, rescinded his accusations against Israel based on what he claims was “new information” submitted by Israel.
That information was court documents exonerating IDF members charged with killings of Christians and Muslims in Israel or the occupied territories.
Omitted from this, of course, is the simple fact that killing Christians and Muslims is not illegal in Israel. A Jew can shoot a Christian anywhere, anytime and be charged with nothing more than littering if he (or she) fails to pick up the shell casings.
Israel has a system of religious law, one never spoken of in America’s press, far more bizarre than Saudi Arabia. Check on it. See what kind of punishment Israelis receive for killing Christians and Muslims. Expect to be surprised.
Buoyed by the propaganda victory of Goldstone’s recantation, Israel staged a phony school bus attack and blamed it on a mythical attack from Gaza. (long story here, first mortar rounds, then anti-tank weapons, then homemade rockets…first Hamas apologies, then they “unapologize”…)
They then spent the next few days in a relentless attack on Muslim civilians meant to build up a population upset at Arab uprisings around them
The whole thing was a public relations campaign to help the ultra-nationalist Likud party keep a siege mentality going. Somewhere, the grave of Adolf Hitler, Argentina maybe, a withered corpse smiled.

Lets see how many of the cuts that GOP pushed for the 2011′s remaining budget affect the middle and lower class citizen and what what affects the other 2% of american citizens and corporations we believe to be American. The GOP continue to say that the way to get the deficit under control is by cutting spending not increasing income by taxing who make their money in America but pay little or no taxes.

I should have used the words “claim responsibility” instead of “apologize” and this confusion could have been avoided.
Hamas never apologizes for his attacks but he claims responsibility for them the same way he did with the attack on the school bus.
Just read the link – Hamas actually admits for attacking the school bus (without knowing it was a school bus – Yeah right).
The link you provided (thank you for that) just proves what I said was right: In the first paragraph it says that Hamas retracts his Apology but claims responsibility for attacking Israeli civilians.

I met Sufi members of the Afghan Mujahideen in 1981 when they were in New York as guests of President Regan, recovering from wounds and recruiting Americans to join them. Please provide the names of any amateur historians, academics or others currently serving jail sentences for Holocaust “denial” or related thought crimes in the countries mentioned. Your sentiments about free speech and free inquiry are well intentioned, but your numbers are off by a mile. There aren’t even ten.
as a disabled viet vet, and somewhat older than the new guys, i found out about champva for my wife. totally by accident. they don’t advertise it much. but it is actually pretty good coverage. check into it. secondly, the rewriting of history has gone on as long as man has claimed “scholarly knowledge”. in almost no time at all, the entire viet nam debacle will never have happened.
In very little time nobody will be alive on the planet who actually witnessed the Vietnam era….and everyone alive will care naught a farthing about it. Just try to find anyone living today who cares what happened in Korea in the early 50s. The passing of a generation pretty well erases all that they were concerned about.

Considering that the Bolshevic revolution in Russia, the Irish rebellion in Irland and the National Socialist revolution in Germany were all mainly successful due to experienced combat veterans returning to their respective countries from World War I fronts, isn’t it just a little curious and even more audacious for republican politicians to deny American Veterans their justly deserved benefits. Either way, it has the appearance of another effort on their part to destroy American civil society. It is not sane for them to believe they can “safely” proceed in such a manner without a reaction from progressives, some of whome may even be Democrats.

I’m unusally quiet these days because of my frustration with the media and my long term frustration with Veterans and Military Groups. However, as I wrote somewhere, I keep hoping that at some point, “Tommy isn’t stupid…” Veterans and the Army of the Potomac re-elected Lincoln as opposed to McClellan because they had figured out that McClellan’s paranoia and cowardice had gotten a lot of them killed for nothing. They liked winning.
In 2010, Veterans were horribly over-represented in the unemployment ranks. The Republicans in the Senate had done a marvelous job of stiffling initiatives that might have produced jobs, and the Democrats went along with it. Seriously, if I was still in the hill-taking business, I’d hate to have Harry Reid and Barrack Obama trying to lead me and mine out into the night. However it happened, a pro-Veteran and pro-working class/middle class Democratic House watched a lot of great legislation passed by them frittered away in the Senate. The Republicans, after killing things that we needed as Vets, citizens, workers and human beings then ran a morally bankrupt and false flag campaign and came close to taking the Senate; they did take the house. As I say in my columns here and other places, hilarity has ensued…there’s no jobs bill, for example. No need. By giving the boys in Zug some more money in tax breaks and subsidies, they figure to get them hiring. Maybe…in Slovakia and Bangladesh.
I’ll recover and get fiery again, but thanks Gordon for keeping the pilot light lit. I hope my brothers and sisters will wake up; we soldiers have this unfortunate tendency to follow the leader. We need to remember that a designation and a nice speech doesn’t provide jobs, education, healthcare or hope.
Since Barry and his “government” aren’t doing anything about any of this, they MUST be complicit with it. So, why?
To me it seems that it’s all part of the Grand Plan to flush the USA down the toilet so the New World Order can “save” us (and the rest of the world).

According to the scholarly Revisionists there is not one German document that indicates their was a plan to eliminate the Jews. There is not one German document about gas chambers. There is not one autopsy that shows that even one person that died in the camps died by being gassed.
It’s a sensitive subject and I actually believe the people that died in those camps died more painful deaths that the official story indicates. Dying from starvation and/or disease are long painful deaths.
This issue is important because the vicious Israeli government hides behind the Holocaust and the German people have been living with guilt and shame they don’t deserve.

The Case For Open Debate

In contrast to establishment historians, Revisionists claim that the German State had NO policy to exterminate the Jewish people (or anyone else) in homicidal gas chambers or by killing them through abuse or neglect. Revisionists also maintain that the figure of six million Jewish deaths is an irresponsible exaggeration, and that no execution gas chambers existed in any camp in Europe which was under German control. Fumigation gas chambers, both stationary and mobile, did exist to delouse clothing and equipment to prevent disease at POW, labor, and concentration camps and at the fighting front. It is highly likely that it was from this lifesaving procedure that the myth of extermination gas chambers emerged.
Revisionists generally hold that the Allied governments, and in particular the Soviets, decided to carry their wartime “black propaganda” of German monstrosities over into the postwar period. This was done for essentially three reasons. 1. The Allies felt it necessary to continue to justify the great sacrifices that were made in fighting two world wars.
2. The Allies wanted to divert attention from, and to justify, their own particularly brutal crimes against humanity. Soviet atrocities alone caused the death of uncounted millions of civilians in the Soviet Union and in all countries of eastern and central Europe. American and British saturation bombings of German and Japanese cities causing over a million civilians to be burned or buried alive.
3. The Allies needed justification for postwar arrangements involving the total dismantling of German industry, a policy of starvation causing the deaths of many millions of German civilians, the robbing of German patents worth trillions of dollars, and the annexation of large parts of Germany into Poland and the USSR. These territories were not disputed borderlands but consisted of 20% of the entire German territory. The twelve million Germans living in these regions were robbed of their property and brutally expelled. More than two millions perished during this most heinous ethnic cleansing of world history.
During the war, and in the postwar era as well, Zionist organizations became deeply involved in creating and spreading Holocaust stories. Their purpose was to drum up world sympathy and support for Jewish causes, especially for the creation of the State of Israel. Today, the Holocaust story, which is perceived as a crime of a right-wing regime, plays an important role for leftist-internationalist groups, for Zionist organizations, and for groups within Jewish communities. It is the leaders of these political and propaganda organizations who continue to work to sustain the orthodox Holocaust legend and the myth of German monstrosity during World War II.
Even mainstream historians admit that there was no German policy at any of those camps to kill the internees. In the last months of the war, while Soviet armies were invading Germany from the east, British and U.S. bombers were destroying every major city in Germany with saturation bombing. Transportation, the food distribution system, medical, and sanitation services all broke down. That was the purpose of these air raids, which was the most barbaric form of warfare in Europe since the Mongol invasion.
Millions of refugees fleeing the Soviet armies were pouring into central and western Germany. As a result of the ongoing war, of starvation, and epidemics, millions of civilians were dying all over Germany. The camps were not exempted from this tragedy. Camps that were still under German control were overcrowded with internees evacuated from the east. By early 1945, these inmates suffered from malnutrition and epidemics like typhus and cholera, to which many succumbed. When the press entered the camps with British and U.S. soldiers, they found the results of that. They took “The Photographs.”
During and after the war there were “eyewitnesses” to mass gassings at Buchenwald, Bergen-Belsen, Dachau, and other camps in Germany proper. Today, virtually all recognized scholars dismiss this testimony as false.

German-trained chemist re-examined Auschwitz, Birkenau and other installations and buildings, testing rocks, soil and other physical samples for traces of Zyklon B. Following the pioneering work of Fred Leuchter, he put the final nail into the coffin of the Auschwitz story. Even though he did scientific work and was utterly apolitical, Rudolf’s home and office were raided, computers seized etc. He was charged and tried in Germany for not believing in the standard Auschwitz story. As a scientist, he found the “gassing” claims to be scientifically untenable and, therefore, absurd

BRIAN I agree with most of what you wrote, however there are some Nazi documents on the “Jewish Question” which confirm ethnic cleansing Check the Wannsee Protocol (google or others) the entire document is available, signed Heydrich & Altreich on 20/1/1942 it does not mention “Gas Chambers” but it mention the “elimination” through “hard work” and also there is a document dated Dec 12 1941 signed Joseph Goebbels stating ” With respect of the “Jewish Question” the Fuhrer has decided to make a clean sweep… Another document signed Heirich Himmler December 18 1941 stated : Jewish Question/ to be eliminated like the partisans…

If you think the Nazis may have had a plan to exterminate the Jews please post the entire sections of the documents. Experts such as Mark Weber, Robert Faurisson and David Irving say they don’t exist. I don’t know him but I will try to send them to Mark Weber.
I have seen the documents that state that Hitler wanted to get the Jews out of Europe after the war was over, by deportation if necessary. I have seen the documents where high ranking Nazis state that too many people are dying in the camps and they have to do better with healthcare and food to keep them alive. This is because they were building munitions for the war.
Only trace elements of Zyclon B were found in the supposed gas chamber ar Auschwitz. Trace means little or none. The delousing chambers had high levels of Zyclon B.

Last week we receive an e-mail asking us if we knew the significance of the small encircled letter “U” or letter “K” that can be found printed on many food cans, food packages and on other kitchen products. The message gave us some clues and suggested that we do some research into the subject. What we found certainly was “news” to us and it both shocked and angered us.
On arriving at my residence, I immediately went to the pantry to verify that what I had just learned was actually true. Sure enough, most of the packaged and canned foods from major companies, like Proctor & Gamble and others, did have the (U), the (K) or other similar markings. The Arrowhead water bottle, the instant Folgers Coffee, the Kelloggs box, the Jiff Peanut Butter, the Pepper container, the Trader Joe’s tea box and even the Glads plastic sandwich bags carton had the (U) or (K) mark on them.
When we asked the Proctor & Gamble representative what the (U) meant on their Folgers Coffee container, she asked us to wait until she consulted with her supervisor. She came back and informed us that the mark meant that the coffee was ” certified kosher”. We than asked her how and who certified the coffee to be “kosher” and whether it cost any money to do so. She refused to answer these and other questions. She suggested that we write to their Corporate Public Affairs Department.
We than called the Clorox Corporation to ask what the (U) meant on the package of their Glads plastic sandwich bags and she also said that the (U) meant that the plastic bags were “kosher” but refused to answer questions concerning payments the Clorox Corporation has to make in order to be able to print the (U) on their products.
What we learned next, pretty much floored me personally. I learned that major food companies throughout America actually pay a Jewish Tax amounting to hundreds of million of dollars per year in order to receive protection. This hidden tax gets passed, of course, to all non-Jewish consumers of the products. The scam is to coerce the companies to pay up or suffer the consequences of a Jewish boycott. Jewish consumers have learned not to buy any kitchen product that does not have the (U) the (K) and other similar markings.
Another shocker was learning who is actually behind these sophisticated “Kosher Nostra Scams.” It turns out that the perpetrators of these elaborate extortion schemes are actually Rabbinical Councils that are set up, not just in the U.S. but in other western countries as well. For example, the largest payola operation in the U.S. is run by those who license the (U) symbol. The (U) symbol provides protection for many products sold here in Aztlan and in the United States. This symbol is managed by the The Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations with headquarters at 333 Seventh Avenue in New York City.
The scam works like a well oiled machine and is now generating vast amounts of funds, some of which are being utilized by the Union of Orthodox Rabbis to support the Ariel Sharon Zionist government in Israel. The website of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations is full of pro-Israel and anti-Palestinian propaganda.
The “Kosher Nostra” protection racket starts when an Orthodox Rabbi approaches a company to warn the owners that unless their product is certified as kosher, or “fit for a Jew to eat”, they will face a boycott by every Jew in America. Most, if not all of the food companies, succumb to the blackmail because of fear of the Jewish dominated media and a boycott that may eventually culminate in bankruptcy. Also, the food companies know that the cost can be passed on to the consumer anyway. The food companies have kept secret from the general consumer the meaning of the (U) and the amount of money they have to pay the Jewish Rabbis.
It is estimated that the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations, which manages the (U) symbol protection racket, controls about 85% of the “Kosher Nostra ” certification business. They now employ about 1200 Rabbi agents that are spread through out the U.S. Food companies must first pay an exorbitant application fee and than a large annual fee for the use of the (U) copyright symbol. Secondly, the companies must pay separate fees each time a team of Rabbis shows up to “inspect” the company’s operations. Certain food companies are required to hire Rabbis full time at very lucrative salaries.
The amount of money that the non-Jewish consumer has paid the food companies to make up for the hidden Jewish Tax is unknown, but it is estimated to be in the billions since the scam first started. The Orthodox Jewish Councils as well as the food companies keep the amount of the fees very secret. The Jewish owned Wall Street Journal wrote about the problem many years ago, but they have stopped writing about it now.
Only public awareness concerning the “Kosher Nostra Scam” will eventually help stop this swindle of the American consumer. Public education of the scam may lead to an eventual non-Jewish boycott of all products with the (U), (K) or other Jewish protection symbols. I certainly do not need to pay extra for “kosher water”, “kosher coffee” or “kosher plastic sandwich bags”. In fact, I demand my money back for all I had to pay over the years for the hidden and illegal Jewish Tax. Are there any bright attorneys out there that could bring a class action suit against the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations on behalf of the citizens of Aztlan and other non-Jewish people?
Apparently companies have admitted they pay a fee but claim it’s nominal, however they seem to refuse to say how much. I doubt it’s a nominal fee.

The biggest secret of all is the exact ANNUAL amount these companies pay to Orthodox rabbis. This same “Times” article stated: “Neither kosher group will disclose what gross revenues are, nor, are corporations anxious to make their own payments public.”How often do we hear our congressmen demand that there be “truth in advertising” and that the “consumer must be protected?”
“The Times” writer, Leonard Sloane, quizzed Rabbi Bernard Levy about this and only received an evasive reply. Levy stated that the average cost to a concern for kosher inspections runs from $1,000 for a “mom and pop” operation to $40,000 per plant for the larger corporations. But, he quickly added, that these charges can go much higher because they are “all keyed to the frequency of inspection which could be on a continuous, daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly basis.” The rabbi decides how often your plant must be inspected. Remember,these are figures from 1975 – HOW MUCH HIGHER ARE THEY TODAY?
The Jewish Newsletter is published by William Zukerman. In 1970 he came out with a super-sensational article charging that Orthodox rabbis had turned the kosher labeling business into a multi-million dollar racket. He said that absolutely nothing which does not contain meat or a meat by-product needs a kosher label. He quotes Mrs. Weiss-Rosmarin, “the greatest rabbinical authority,” as testifying that no soft drink, Coca-Cola, nor any other drink needs kosher approval. Again, ONLY MEAT and items containing MEAT by-products need Kosher approval.
Zuckerman charges that “unscrupulous or bogus rabbis” are in back of this “racket” and when eventually exposed, “this will develop into a scandal which will rock organized Jewry to its foundation:”

Most of this is not quite new to the older generation who for years was aware of the U and K stamped on producta, do not purchase them. The people have more control in their hands than believed; simply do not buy products rubber stamped with the U or K, as they are being packed.
