Every couple of hours I get an email, one I track down to a Washington DC law firm tied to big pharma, the radiation lobby or Wall Street, telling me a story about Barak Obama and gun seizure. Snopes.com always rats them out, total lies. That doesn’t stop those who send them out, they don’t care.
I am a gun owner, learned to shoot, pistols, rifles, bow, long before I joined the Marine Corps in 1968. Unlike Mr’s Trump and Bush (Gingrich and Cheney and hundreds others like them), we Detroit kids knew how to dodge the draft. We joined the Marines. I don’t hunt, just a bit of target shooting and restoration work. Been a gun smith for decades and get tremendous pleasure out of restoring abused weapons. Guns have character. Gun owners, now there’s another breed entirely.
America is at war and I do my best to support President Obama. I have been waiting two years now for him to pull the troops out of Afghanistan like he promised. My patience is wearing a bit thin. Last week, you remember, the “bin Laden” thing, that was a bit much for me.
I think bin Laden has been dead for years. After a week of wives and children on TV, a phony diary showing up, videos of one phony bin Laden watching another phony bin Laden on television and the lies, one after another, I am simply ready to throw up my hands. This is too stupid to even deal with but at least Obama didn’t kill thousands of people like Bush did.
Oh, I wasn’t supposed to say that. I am a gun owner and gun owners believe what they see on TV. Not only that, I am a veteran to boot, you can wave a flag at me and kick me in the pants and I will salute and say “thank you.”
I just can’t figure Obama out. There is no evidence that he is anti-gun, not a single bit. That’s wild conspiracy theory, preying on the dimwits and dullards. “Everybody knows that!”
But now, everybody loves him. Problem is, that even if bin Laden hadn’t been dead for a decade, something we have so many confirmations that it may actually be true, Obama is now a proven liar.
I say that reluctantly.
As of today, the United States Department of Justice has never been able to establish any connection between Osama bin Laden and the 9/11 attacks. This is the official position of the US government. “Bin Laden didn’t do it, we can’t prove it.” In fact, there is no proof that Osama bin Laden ever committed a crime of any kind. Charges tying him to bombings in Africa back in the 90s are based on conspiracy theory and wild conjecture. I am not saying that a military tribunal won’t convict someone without evidence. Just ask one of the 25 million Americans who have been convicted of crimes or the 2 plus million who are in prison.
Then look at all the people who belong in prison who go to work every day, free as birds. I am talking about our government of course.
So, if Obama lied when he said bin Laden was responsible for 9/11, and, according to public record, what President Obama said is a lie, then did he lie about the rest too? Does he even know?
I have the rare privilege of working with people who were in government during the Clinton and Bush administrations, FBI, CIA, State Department and military. Some, like the CIA’s Susan Lindauer, report that everyone in the government knew that the World Trade Center would be attacked with airliners. Susan actually saw to it that the president was informed. Look up her story online.
Be afraid.
She isn’t the only one, most in government knew of the 9/11 plans and a select few were privy to the fact that these weren’t terrorist attacks at all.
I have spoken with them too.
Back to gun owners. Why do gun owners only worry about keeping their guns? Worse than that, why are “many” gun owners such conspiracy nuts that they can be duped to sending cash to the NRA based on phony email alerts that are filled with fabrications?
My problem is that the folks who send out the alerts seem to be the same ones we have to worry about, in fact, they are the ones that make owning guns seem like something pretty smart to do. So, what we have ended up with is a nation of nutters armed to the teeth who had their country and their freedoms, not to speak of their homes, their jobs and their money, taken from them while they were looking the other way.
If it ever came down to American having to fight to keep their freedoms or defend the constitution or even protect the country from foreign invasion, our gun owners are very likely to be on the wrong side. All you have to do is send them emails telling them the North Koreans are here to help Wall Street hunt down the “liberal elites” and we get “Red Dawn in reverse.”
Well, I got one of those emails that I enjoy that I am going to pass on. This is a facebook page that I would like gun owners to take a moment or two with.
What I don’t want anymore is a gun owner or veteran or American patriot to be an embarrassment. It ain’t about guns. The most powerful weapon in the world is a well oiled mind.

Well, have you seen the grim news today, May 13, especially on ABC? It seems that Pres. Obama has painted himself into a terrible corner by going along with the recent fake Bin Laden “death”. Today’s item 1: Former Pres. GW Bush interviewed; he obviously goes along with the phony Bin Laden death. 2. Documents from “Bin Laden’s” compound in Pakistan supposedly show that Al Qaeda is interested in killing Obama, his family here, and his family in Kenya.
Well, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see the 2-pronged danger here. Obama is 3rd-generation CIA, and is their creation. Now they are positioning his head on the chopping block, literally. He has to do as they say, OR ELSE.
If they decide that they want to bump him off for whatever reason, they can do it and blame it all on Al Qaeda. On the other hand, if they decide they want to keep him in power, they can now eliminate his family in Kenya, and thereby eliminate any witnesses to his Kenyan birth. Again, this action would be blamed on Al Qaeda.
The fact that Obama was and is constitutionally ineligible for the office of POTUS, is irrelevant to this particular issue. The CIA and other intelligence agencies do NOT have the moral or legal right to kill a sitting President. IT CANNOT BE ALLOWED, not just because it’s wrong, but because ALL HELL would break loose in this country.
9/11 and the real Bin Laden/Al Qaeda story must be cracked wide open NOW before it’s too late!

I am also an owner of weapons – learned to shoot as a boy. I consider myself not dangerous. However, many gun-owners have psychological problems that they think guns can resolve. I believe they are dangerous. So there is a problem with un-controlled gun ownership. That they are political morons to-boot is something they share with a great many non-gun-owning Americans.
And again, the problem is not government. The problem is the government we have and the people in it.
But our BIGGEST PROBLEM is the lousy press not giving Americans the oil to lubricate their minds. In Nigeria, many truck drivers will piss in sprite and use it as brake fluid because it is the same color. Needless-to-say, they have many deadly road accidents.

I own guns, and learned to clean them (first) when I was eleven. Then I learned to shoot them. I am a vet. I am also acquainted with an unfortunately large percentage of people who watch Fox and Beck and listen to Limbaugh, and say that they are “one issue voters”. Guess what that issue is? I have been silly enough in the past to ask them if they would be tickled pink with a President who said do what you will with guns, but we’re taking away Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Veteran’s pensions, Veteran’s healthcare, road repair, emergency services… how quickly they shout that they have a right to those things…
…only until they’re gone.
A gun is a tool. It has no personality or character beyond that which we choose to give it through anthropomorphizing it. If you feel the need to defend yourself, read Shakespeare.

My response to 11Bravo was a continuation of my responses to Gordon, following my statement, “Spurious claims and all.”
And, seeing as the “large percentage of people” you are acquainted with are being taxed (not to mention being hopped up by Fox, Beck and Limbaugh), I can’t fault them for feeling they have a right to the services their taxes allegedly pay for.
I think Gordon and 11Bravo did make accurate statements pertaining to the problem of “the lousy press not giving Americans the oil to lubricate their minds” (as 11Bravo said it), which you allude to as well in citing Fox, Beck and Limbaugh.
But there are alot of broad brush strokes being applied that are including folks who do not fit the allegations being made.
I figure that one reason to NOT have a gun comes from what happened at Ruby Ridge. If you are known to have a gun, you can be accused of threatening or whatever else and give “them” an excuse to wipe you out with more powerful guns.

I am confined to a wheelchair with a service-connected condition and I can’t tell you how often I find myself arguing with some young lady about which of us is going to hold the door for whom…
Gun ownership… Having had the misfortune (like 25% of our brethren) to have been a “guest of the government” after my service, this is an even more sticky subject for me. If there were a civilian equivalent of an Arms Room, and I could be confident that only qualified users had guns, I guess I could not feel the need to constantly wonder if its worth the risk to keep a 12 gauge in my closet “just in case”. I’m somewhat comforted by the battlefield knowledge that just because that AK-47 started the day in the hands of my opponent(who knows if hes REALLY my enemy…?), that doesn’t mean it won’t be slung over my shoulder by the end of the day… Nuff Said!
I especially like your observation about a well-oiled mind, a lesson I constantly re-iterate to my son, who sat ME down the other day and explained the whole HAARP theory about 911 to me with websites and commentary when I asked him what he and his peers thought about what really happened. I heaved an inner sigh of relief at my semi-renewed hope for the future, and bent my well oiled mind to the task of accepting that there might indeed be a valid reason for me to keep my Remington.

the reason we haven’t seen a gun ban like the UK, Canada and Austrilia yet is becuase the government knows as long as they don’t touch the second amenedment the rest of the constituion is up for grabs.
My husband has erronously stated a number of times that the second amendnment protects the rest. he failed to see that we lost the first, 3rd, forth, 10th and a number of others.

The most practicale reason for owning a gun is still the same. To protect yourself in your own home in case of an intruder and everyone has the right to do that. You won’t be facing a land mine and it is a detterant and you know that.

6.) The radiation fallout from the nuke accident in Japan has been much downplayed and the EPA simply stopped taking radiation readings. This will lead to deaths by cancer and you have to know it. Obama the murderer really made no attempt to protect us or well – nothing. GE also built those plants and in part owns Obama. He is in collusion now to every bit of harm that is caused by these actions and yes he is.
7.) The BP Whistleblowers and others getting murdered behind the scenes I am sure this man knows about and does nothing and I am sure is in active collusion to some. Every drop of that blood is partly on his hands. Yes – That is the way it really works.
9.) Every tyrant prick he supports every injustice that is under that man or drop of blood spilt it is partly on Obamas hands. Yes it is. Sounds like I am putting much culpability on him; because in reality and the real world he has much power totally abused and that culpability really exists.
10.) I know there is ongoing torture and I am sure literal human experimentaiton going on in those black sites. Now Obama is in collusion and that blood and injustice is on his head.

There were those never mentioned CIA links, there are more valid questions to that birth certificate than anyone will admit and the only reason there is one question that fault lies directly on the head of our current in house war criminal, there was this very disturbing story that looked like it actually had validity about a dead choir director, he came up throught the corrupt Chicago Poltical Machine, the gay bathhouses and R. Emanual and many up there are no better as far as that particular type of thing goes. T. Rezko, B. Ayers. The list of things that should have prevented him from holding that office just during the campaign is long and he got in.

What saves me much embarrasment; the trick is when I don’t have a damn clue I simply say – who the hell knows and its not me.
Common Sense: I am not trying to be cruel; but it is not even close to acceptable what is going on The Whore House On The Potomac and they have been getting away with literal mass murder with legal impunity and much other horrific literal criminal activty. I think everyone just thinks it’s not that horrific because it is them. They are no better than many of the other mass murderers in history. Their own people often could not see it and we are no different. They are just our mass murderers and belong in the damn gallows dammit.

To put it simply I have done some research behind the dynamics that went into WW2 and the rise of the Third Reich and its not as simple as we were told.
The weirdest thing about the whole damn mess was the one person out of the whole damn mess I was really impressed by and not expecting to be was the German General Rommel. No stick with me here; the dynamics from the average Germans view point were not as clear as history dictates. Montgomery seemed obsessed by Rommel the favor was not repaid. The man was a military leader. Rommel was simply a soldier and a damn good one. When they rolled into Poland they in their eyes had been attacked and were in a sense taking back conquored German territory. Rommel seemed to be a little arrogant; but he was a soldier. During that whole nightmare if you look how the man handled himself and they way he treated his prisoners despite what everyone else, did he was humane and he kept his humanity throughout the whole ordeal. He never treated people the way the allies did during the bombing of Dresden ect. He lost his life trying to assignate Hitler. The millitary seemed out of that whole regime to hold its honor out of anyone.
The most tragic thing about the situation was Hitler had a point he in a sense scapegoated the Jewish Race for the mess Germany was in after WW1. The Jewish Gangsta Banksters did have something to do with it and you know mob mentalilty that fury had to go somewhere and Hitler simply tapped into it. Many evil hands in there making a devilish stew what’s new? It doesn’t seem to be that simple. He was right though the Jewish Gangsta Banksters had caused much damage and the tragic part is the average Jewish doctor got the all expense paid trip to Auschwitz. Oh – Part of the supressed history Hitler was heavy into the Occult and so is that den of devil worshippers in the Vatican. I know exactly what I am talking about. I know Isreal is a problem. The Jews do seem to have a stranglehold on power. The media, gov. and the gangsta banksters I know that. Why even have a web site if readers can’t read it?
Not everybody has perfect vision or can read tiny text.
When your page is sized so that entire lines of a story fit on the screen, the text is pretty small.
But, when readers enlarge the text, it vanishes off the side of the page, making it impossible to read without dragging the bottom scroll bar back and forth, which makes reading a thankless chore.
Why not hire a CSS coder to spend an hour or two (probably less) to assure that when text is enlarged, it stays within the confines of the screen. Plenty of other sites work that way. It looks like VT uses WordPress. If so, this should be very easy. Thanks for your time.
