Japan in WWII: A Casualty of Usury?

Was WWII Fought to make the World Safe for the Bankers?

by  Dr. Ingrid Rimland Zundel

Thanks to best-selling author, David Irving, the establishment view that the United States of America became embroiled in World War II as a result of a surprise attack on Pearl Harbour on December 7, 1941 is no longer accepted by major historians. The origins of this conflict, says South African politician and noted banker, Stephen Goodson, have far deeper roots.

Goodson explains the background as follows:

During the 1930s Japan rapidly expanded her industrial production, while the rest of the world, with the exception of National Socialist Germany, stagnated. By 1941 Japan had become the leading economic power in East Asia. Her exports were steadily replacing those of America and England.

Writes Goodson:

  • Japan has very few natural resources, so what was the secret of her success? In order to answer this question, it is necessary to return to the year 1929, when one of the twentieth century’s foremost monetary reformers, Major Clifford Hugh Douglas, went on a lecture tour of Japan.

Douglas’s economic theory advocated the transfer of the money creation process from private banks, which create money out of nothing as an interest-bearing debt, to the state. This government created money he termed social credit. He also favored the payment of a basic income or national dividend to each citizen. This dividend would provide consumers with the additional buying power necessary to absorb all the current production of goods in a non-inflationary manner2.

Major Clifford Hugh Douglas

  • Douglas’s financial proposals for an honest money system, based on government creating the nation’s money and credit on an interest-free basis, were enthusiastically received by Japanese industry and government.3

All Douglas’s books and pamphlets were translated into Japanese, and more copies were sold in that country than in all the rest of the world put together.4

Since its inception in 1882 the largest shareholder of the Bank of Japan (Nippon Ginko) had been the Japanese Imperial Household. Its reorganization into a state bank, which was administered exclusively for the accomplishment of national interests, was implemented in 1932.

The reform of the central bank was completed in February 1942 when the Bank of Japan Law was remodelled on the Reichsbank Act of Germany of 1939.

Goodson continues:

“The Bank of Japan Law declared that the bank was a special corporation of a strongly national nature. The Bank was ‘to assume the task of controlling currency and finance and supporting and promoting the credit system in conformity with policies of the state to ensure the full use of the nation’s potential’. Further, it was ‘to be managed with the accomplishment of national aims as its sole guiding principle’ (Article 2).

As for the functions of the Bank, the law abolished the old principle of priority for commercial finance, empowering it to supervise facilities for industrial finance. The law also authorized the Bank to make unlimited advances to the government without security, and to subscribe for and to absorb government bonds.

WW2 Historian, David Irving

In respect of note-issues the law made permanent the system of the maximum issues limit; thus, the Bank could make unlimited issues to meet the requirements of munitions industries and of the government.

On the other hand, government supervision of the Bank was markedly strengthened. The government could nominate, superintend and give orders to the president and the directors; there was also a clause giving the government more comprehensive powers to give so-called ‘functional orders’ to the Bank, to direct it to perform any function it deemed necessary for the attainment of the Bank’s purpose.

Moreover, the law made a wide range of the Bank’s business subject to governmental approval, including such matters as the alteration of Bank rate, note-issues and accounts”.5

The results of these reforms can be seen in the sustained improvement which took place in the Japanese economy, once the shackles of usury had been removed. During the 1931-41 period, manufacturing output and industrial production increased by 140% and 136% respectively, while national income and Gross National Product (GNP) were up by 241% and 259% respectively.  These remarkable increases exceeded by a wide margin the economic growth of the rest of the industrialized world.

In the labour market unemployment declined from 5.3% in 1930 to 3.0% in 1938. Industrial disputes decreased with the number of stoppages down from 998 in 1931 to 159 in 1941.

In contrast to Japan, America had a private, mostly foreign owned central bank, the United States Federal Reserve Bank. Since its establishment on December 23, 1913 under highly suspicious circumstances, this bank had been undermining the US Constitution and destroying the freedom and prosperity of the American people.

A contemporary indictment of the US Federal Reserve may be found in a quotation from the opening paragraphs of a speech given by the Honorable Louis T. McFadden, Chairman of the House Committee on Banking and Currency (1920-31). It was delivered to Congress on June 10, 1932 to the general acclaim of the members present.

“Mr. McFadden. Mr Chairman, we have in this country one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever know. I refer to the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Reserve banks. The Federal Reserve Board, a Government board, has cheated the Government of the United States and the people of the United States out of enough money to pay the national debt.

The depredations and the iniquities of the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Reserve banks acting together have cost this country enough money to pay the national debt several times over.

This evil institution has impoverished and ruined the people of the United States; has bankrupted itself, and has practically bankrupted our Government. It has done this through the defects of the law under which it operates, through the maladministration of that law by the Federal Reserve Board, and through the corrupt practices of the moneyed vultures who control it.

Some people think the Federal Reserve Banks are United States Government institutions. They are not Government institutions. They are private credit monopolies which prey upon the people of the United States for the benefit of themselves and their foreign customers; foreign and domestic speculators and swindlers; and rich and predatory money lenders.”

Mr. McFadden then went on to expose how the Federal Reserve Bank buys votes in the States in order to control the state legislatures; and how they use their vast financial resources in maintaining “an international propaganda” for covering up their previous misdeeds and setting in motion new opportunities for their “gigantic train of crime”.

According to McFadden, these 12 private credit monopolies were “deceitfully and disloyally” foisted on an unsuspecting public by foreign bankers, who in 1904 bankrolled Japan in her war with Russia. In 1917 they financed Trotsky’s political programme in America and paid for his passage to Russia. With the assistance of their branch banks in Sweden, these international bankers “fomented and instigated the Russian Revolution”, which resulted in the “destruction of the Russian Empire”.

Goodson points out something astounding to many of the uninitiated:

It can thus be seen that the US Federal Reserve Bank was intimately involved in plotting and financing the overthrow of the Russian Empire7. With its stranglehold on the media and its placemen occupying most of the key positions in government in 1941, the Bank was in a favourable position from which to manipulate and provoke war with Japan.

Both the Bank of Japan and the German Reichsbank8 with their systems of state creation of the money supply at zero interest – and the inevitability that those systems of finance would be replicated by other countries, in particular those of the proposed Greater East Asian Co-prosperity Sphere – posed such a serious threat to the private investors of the US Federal Reserve Bank, that a world war was deemed to be the only means of countering it.

In July 1939 the United States unilaterally abrogated the Treaty of Commerce of 1911, thereby restricting Japan’s ability to import essential raw materials. These measures were imposed avowedly because of the war in China and were followed in June 1940 by an aviation fuel embargo and a ban on the export of iron and steel in November 19409.

General Hideki Tojo

In July 1941 all Japanese assets in England, Holland and America were frozen after Japan had peacefully occupied Indochina, with the permission of Vichy France, in order to block off China’s southern supply routes. At the same time an oil embargo was enforced. Without oil Japan could not survive.

General Hideki Tojo, Prime Minister (October 1941 – July 1944) explains in his diary how the United States continually thwarted Japanese efforts at maintaining the peace. Japan’s peaceful commercial relations were being persistently undermined by the USA and posed a grave threat to her future existence. By means of the economic blockade a noose was being placed around Japan’s neck.

Not only were the United States, England, China and Holland encircling Japan through economic pressures, but naval forces throughout the region in the Philippines, Singapore and Malaya were being redeployed and strengthened.

An American admiral claimed that the Japanese fleet could be sunk in a couple of weeks, while Prime Minister Churchill declared that England would join America’s side within 24 hours.

“Japan attempted to circumvent these dangerous circumstances by diplomatic negotiation, and though Japan heaped concession upon concession, in the hope of finding a solution through mutual compromise, there was no progress because the United States would not retreat from its original position.

In the end, the United States repeated demands that, under the circumstances, Japan could not accept : complete withdrawal of troops from China, repudiation of the Nanking government, withdrawal from the Tripartite Pact.

At this point, Japan lost all hope of reaching a resolution through diplomatic negotiation. Since events had progressed as they had, it became clear to continue in this manner was to lead the nation to disaster. With options thus foreclosed, in order to protect and defend the nation and clear the obstacles that stood in its path, a decisive appeal to arms was made.

War was decided upon at the Imperial Conference on December 1, 1941, and the shift to real operations was made at this point. However, even during the preparations for action, plans were laid in such a manner that should there be progress through diplomatic negotiation, we would be well prepared to cancel operations at the latest moment that communication technology would have permitted.” 10

A further incentive for the unprincipled leaders of the US government to instigate a war with Japan was the Tripartite Pact of September 21, 1940. This was a defensive military alliance under the terms of which, if one of the Axis powers was attacked, the others would come to its defence. By these means Germany was induced to declare war on the USA.11

After numerous diplomatic initiatives including the offer of a summit on August 8, 1941 had failed, Japan was forced into attacking America in order to maintain her prosperity and secure her existence as a sovereign state.

In the ensuing slaughter 2.3 million Americans and Japanese lost their lives. Tens of thousands of allied soldier were subjected to the indignities and sufferings of prisoner of war camp life12.

In a consummate act of hypocrisy the Japanese High Command was placed on trial for “war crimes”. These tribunals were based on ex post facto laws, which resulted in the subversion of 2500 years of Western jurisprudence. The rule of tu quoque (thou also) was cynically ignored, notwithstanding the brutal nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, where an estimated 239 000 died.13

One of the first acts of the United States occupation forces in Japan in September 1945 was to restructure the Japanese banking system, so as to make it compliant with the norms of the international bankers i.e. usury. The unrestricted financing of the state by the Bank of Japan was abolished and the large industrial combines, the Zaibatsu, were dismantled. This policy was carried out by Joseph Dodge, a Detroit banker, who was financial adviser to the Supreme Allied Commander, General Douglas MacArthur.

On both the 50th and 60th anniversaries commemorating the end of World War II, Japanese officials, including Japan’s prime minister Junichiro Koizumi14 on the latter occasion, have apologized. Clearly such apologies are misplaced and it is perhaps America who should be apologizing to the Japanese for having provoked them into a senseless and useless war, which according to Allied propaganda was fought to make the world safe for democracy.

The reality is that World War II was fought to make the world safe for usury – to ensure the permanent enslavement of mankind through debt and interest.

1 Thomas Kimmel (grandson of Admiral Husband Kimmel), ’12 New Pearl Harbor Facts’, The Barnes Review, November/December 2004, pp. 37-41. Critical intelligence was withheld from the local commanders to ensure that the “surprise” attack was as spectacular as possible. See also Roger A Stolley, ‘Pearl Harbor Attack No Surprise’, The Journal for Historical Review, Vol. 12, No. 1, Spring 1992, pp. 119-21 who quotes LTC Clifford M. Andrew, a former U.S. Army intelligence officer, who temporarily was assistant chief of staff, military intelligence, general staff, United States Army as follows:

‘Five men were directly responsible for what happened at Pearl Harbor. I am one of those five men ….. We knew well in advance that the Japanese were going to attack. At least nine months before the Japanese attack upon Pearl Harbor, I was assigned to prepare for it.
I was operating under the direct orders of the President of the United States and was ordered not to give vital intelligence information relating to the whereabouts of the Japanese fleet to our commanders in the field.

We had broken the Japanese code … We’d been monitoring all their communications for months prior to the attack …. It was a lie that we didn’t have direct communication with Washington, D.C.’

Stolley concludes by saying the “For the people of the United States both then and now I feel sorrow, for a people to have been so misled, to have been lied to so much and to have so thoroughly believed the lie given to them.’

2.. This forms part of Douglas’s A + B theorem, viz that prices are always being generated at a faster rate than incomes are produced, so that the total prices of all goods in the economy at any particular stage exceed the total buying power of consumers. The national dividend was intended to make up for this deficit of purchasing power, and as a consequence would assist in abolishing the business cycle and the syndrome of poverty amidst plenty.

3. This enthusiasm may be contrasted with the alarm with which Douglas’s ideas were received by the City of London or Square Mile (677 acres). During the 1930s £5 million (a prodigious sum in to-day’s values) was raised by the international bankers in order to neutralize Douglas’s proposals.

11. Besides the obligations of the alliance, other factors which influenced the German declaration of war were the persistent provocations of the US Navy in the north Atlantic, and the anticipation that the Japanese would open up a Russian front in the Far East and provide relief for the beleaguered German forces outside Moscow.

12. In view of Japan’s non-ratification of the Geneva Convention in 1929, the Allied Chiefs of Staff have to bear some of the responsibility for the hardship, which they knew their soldiers would have to endure if captured. A recent study by Professor Richard Aldrich of Nottingham University, England ‘The Faraway War, Personal Diaries of the Second World War in Asia and the Pacific’, 2005, Doubleday has revealed that the stereotyping of the Japanese as being cruel and robotic is inaccurate, and that most of them were tough and fair in their treatment of enemy prisoners. In contrast American and Australia soldiers frequently did not take prisoners, but massacred them as “machine-gun practice”. (1943 diary of Eddie Stanton, Australian posted to Goodenough Island off Papua New Guinea). According to a spokesman of the Imperial War Museum, London in a programme broadcast on British Sky television on August 15, 2005, Japanese treatment of Russian prisoners of the Russo-Japanese War (1904-5) and German prisoners of World War I (1914-18) was exemplary.

13. The justification for these bombings was that the conquest of the Japanese mainland would have cost an estimated 500 000 allied lives. Yet these disasters could have been avoided if Japanese peace overtures for a conditional surrender had been accepted in January 1945.

14. According to the September 2005 issue of the monthly journal Right Now, 78 Marylebone High Street, London WIU 5AP on p. 15, ‘Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi is attacked time and again for continuing to visit a Tokyo shrine (the Yasukini) where Japan’s war dead are deified. The International Herald Tribune and the New York Times refer to these Japanese dead as ‘war criminals.’

  1. To me, Japan’s declaration of war against the U.S. simply doesn’t make sense. They had the ores they needed in Manchukuo. They had the rubber they needed from Indochina. They only had to take the fuel they wanted from the Dutch. In the U.S. public opinion was over 80% against a war in Europe. The percentage against a war against Japan would have been even higher. So Japan could have gone right along with what it was doing and there was nothing the U.S. could have done about it. There’s more to be revealed if we’re ever to get a credible explanation.

  2. Oh. what a lovely article! The Japanese were innocent little angles, and just provocked and manipulated by the big, bad U.S. Oh, the horrors of it!

Tojo ‘s diary of 1940-41? All I say is: Nanking Massacre 1937! Before that was the Manchurian Medical Experiments. ..just to name 2 of the many atrocities committted by the little angels, all ON THEIR OWN.

Ahh, those Samurai, they shure knew their job!

And they sure showed their “enemy” what’s what! You know the Chinese, Manchurians, Koreans, Indo-Chinese, Indonesians, Malayans, Borneans, Filipinos, Guamese and the rest of the Pacific Islanders.
    AND HOW!

But honestly,k I do suggest, Mrs.Ingrid that you research the acts of the Japanese in WWII, and consider what happened afterwards, in the Times in which they happened. Because I’ll tell you, the People in the above countries have NOT forgotten the atrocities, and the Japenese are still, ABSOLUTELY
    HATED.

  3. You have to include some other material here with this article to make it more understandable.

Most people consider Adolf Hitler as some extremist that kind of popped up out of a box somewhere in Austria and grew to popular cult status somehow and this is far, far removed from the truth.

America’s power elite were looking to break the stranglehold of Russia and Britain on this planet and through this, they needed a tool in Europe, this of course was Hitler and they secretly bankrolled Hitler’s movement until it was able to seize power, this is borne again too with the support of the monied Zionists that existed too, a fine example of this would be Hans Oppenheimer, British MP Margaret Hodge’s father, who never lost one asset to Hitler’s nationalisation programme and profited mightily from the German war effort.

And so through people like Thyssen, huge funds and logistics were placed at Hitler’s disposal, he seized power and the rest, as they say, is history, it made the fortunes of the Bush family who had controlling interests at places like Auschwitz, these same people also tried in 1933 to overthrow the US government and install a Fascist style governance across America.

And their plan worked, the British empire was pushed into decline (although the British did form the commonwealth which negated a little of America’s goals), the Russians were held back and America was able to seize control of much of Europe whether in name like Germany and Italy and in Asia e.g. Japan, or through satraps under their control and it gave America enormous power.

But this power was squandered by the Bush administration, if anyone broke America and its empire, it was Bush and so now America like every empire in history is seriously in decline because of its overseas military commitments and dark days are ahead for the US until like the Russians after the Soviet collapse, like austerity Britain after its own collapse, the US needs to finally economically collapse to survive. It is a necessary and unavoidable aspect of end game empires.

  4. Article => The reality is that World War II was fought to make the world safe for usury – to ensure the permanent enslavement of mankind through debt and interest.

T.V. => This was/is the absolutely correct conclusion–particularly based on results. Howevere, your premises to get to this conclusion need a bit more work.

    T.V.

  5. Yes, Japan was resource poor and their occupation of Chinese Manchuria (Manchukuo) much before WWII helped their economy because Manchuria was very rich in resources that Japan badly needed. This helped their economy grow and prosper from stolen and plundered Chinese resources.

  6. Emily Williams

Fantastic essay. Thank you. I’m fascinated by the role of the banks and women in the war. I just finished a book that’s a collection of letters from Norma Jean Cone, the first American woman who was part of the team that was inventorying the assets of the Bank of Japan just after the war ended. Letters Home is a great peek inside what her life was like in Japan, but also what the work was like. http://lettershomethebook.com

  7. Japan was encouraged to take over Korea by President Roosevelt. The USA actually facilitated the demise of the Korean emperor. You have to read the book, “Imperial Cruise”. It explains the progressive policies of President Roosevelt and how he encouraged Japan to become Militarized and to adopt a Japanese Monroe Doctrine of the East. We sowed the seeds. We lit the fuse by actually facilitating Japan’s expansion. The idea was that Japan was more civilized, more evolved than the rest of Asia, so it was up to them to bring the “Progress” that progressives seek to promote world wide. It was the progressive policies of the turn of the century that brought the nightmare of WWII.

  8. “obstain” should be ‘abstain’ in previous reply (refrain from voting).

  9. It’s a slave planet with fake democracies. All you can do is obstain from voting during elections, pay as little as possible to governments, work as little as possible in your regular job (unless you want to make a “career”), and develop your own private project that lead to economic independence (such as free energy projects, or food projects).

    • Right on to that…ignore them and they’ll go away. They can’t survive unless we continue to give them our power. Think of all the ways that we support them with those retirement investments that we are so proud of. Why not invest in a local start-up business, local manufacturing, local anything, and know exactly who you are supporting before you invest in anything or give money to charity.

  10. American Patriot

Very obvious. Jesus threw the greedy bastards out of the temple once for this and I believe He is about to do it again.
Also see John 8:44 to see what He told them.

    • It is unfortunate that today’s temples are the bank and exchange buildings of Wall Street money. If the Holy Temple was destroyed because of the sins of its people, then the Wall Street temples of money (Mammon) will also be destroyed sooner or later because of the evil sins of its bankers, traders, etc.

  11. Robert, absolutely true and that is why we are in such a turmoil today as well.
They are behind the wars and financial meltdown, their greed knows no boundaries.
    A truely despicable people.

  12. 34. A person essentially assist to make critically posts I might state. That is the first time I frequented your website page and thus far? I surprised with the research you made to create this actual publish extraordinary. Magnificent task!

  13. I agree with Mike Kay’s comment 100%.

For clearing away more of the old propaganda that we learned about World War II — may I recommend actually listening to these film clips of a David Irving book tour talk — which Gordon Duff posted on Veterans Today back in November . . .

    http://www.veteranstoday.com/2010/11/02/gordon-duff-history-never-happened-who-is-david-irving/

I say “actually listening” only because the imperfect sound quality plus Mr. Irving’s accent made me have to pay attention. And it was really worth it. “Astonished, relieved, and grateful” is how I felt after hearing those.

The very same feelings come up for me in connection with the current article. I’m astonished, relieved, adn grateful that the writer is clearing out the falsehoods from this key period of our history.

Thanks to her, thanks to Gordon D.

    • Sam, I have video of I think four David Irving visits to Atlanta. This is some of the footage we will start putting up later his year. I have quite and archive and databasing it correctly is critical as redos later make you think of suicide as an alternative.

One of our aces in the hole is we have my archive footage, some of it with folks who have passed on. This will add a new dimension as we will be able to put the source right in front of you. One of the gems is Irving’s talk on his Austrian setup where they baited him with a fraternity speaking engagement and then grabbed him…a low thing for a Western country to do. They deserve eternal derision for that.

  14. Near all the wars since the French Revolution have been instigated by “They”. They today are the largest and principle propagators of homosexuality, feminism, pornography, anti-gun legislation, climate warming, sterilization, euthanasia, hate laws, etc. They were expelled from near every country in Europe though history after they were found to have raped the countries of their wealth, undermined the governments and sold their host country to their enemies. Over the last 100 years and especially the last 50 years to today near 100% of all spies that have sold out our interests and country are “They”. “They” chair nearly every committee in the US House and Senate, “They” chair and control near all the banks and media in the western world, and “They” comprise the far majority of our Presidents Czars and Advisors. “They” are the ones now operating the greatest theft of wealth in the world history from governments and peoples. “They” comprise between 25-75 % of Obama’s Administration, near all important positions in secondary government entities, in the Judiciary, in Finance ( near 100% ). They instigated the French Revolution, The Russian Revolution ( and brag of this as of the 502 Communist Officials of that government, 458 were – They”. General Smedly Butler wrote in his book “War is a Racket” that all the wars were for the ‘Bankers’ = They as did General Chesty Puller say the same. General Patton realized at the end of WWII that the war was instigated by the bankers and ‘they’ as he wrote in his memoirs before he was eliminated from exposing the tragety and conspiracy of WWII. “They” in their holy books teach that they are to work towards a “One World Satanic Judeo/Freemasonic Dictatorship” where they are the sole rulers and masters of mankind. They are the Jews.

  15. Oh, yeah! You all didn;t know this?

I got the picture after seeing Jordan Maxwell’s vid on Youtube:

  16. Wow.
My hat is off to Mr. Duff, and Dr. Rimland Zundel.
Finally, finally, FINALLY we are beginning to get to truth behind the ruinous wars, the demonization of a powerful people-the Teutons, and the reasons for abject failure of the “American Experiment”.
I recall as a kid learning one simple fact-that the Japanese code was broken BEFORE the Pearl Harbor attack-and how that raised an entire series of questions for which no answers were forthcoming. Until now.
I used to think that the reason the German people were held down was because everyone was afraid of them. True warriors, they took on the world and almost won-twice. How naiive of me!
    Please, keep revealing the truth.

  17. Thanks for this excellent review, Ingrid.
Regarding China’s role in greasing the skids of Washington’s downfall: We are all familiar with the old adage “give ‘em enough rope and they’ll hang themselves.”
The Chinese corollary is: “Give Washington enough credit and they’ll bankrupt themselves.”

  18. Jct: I didn’t know Japan had taken control of the credit system away from the private banks. No wonder Big Money had the USA pick a war with them. To make the world safe for usury! Find “Big Lie of Economics” hiding that printing money for paychecks fights inflation Shift B to understand why. bankmath is another keyword.

  19. @Bill from Charlotte NC – don’t be a fool – the Japanese considered their Emperor a LIVING GOD descended from the Sun Goddess etcetc & he was WORSHIPPED as such ….the only reason the ENTIRE Japanese nation did not commit harakiri was the fact that Hiroshima & Nagasaki was bombed & NOT TOKYO/edo or KYOTO ! ( like the looted Summer Palace or the Destruction of Old Delhi etc etc )……..but did Japan learn …….nononono! the inheritors of that horrible nuclear attack ( always been a debate why they did not use the atomic bombs on Germany but on some Asians instead ! well the Germans did pay a dear price in the hellfire of Dresden)…….NO! did not learn …….and ironically Japan’s revenge well…..FukUshima = 50,000 Chernobyls – 1 Chernobyl = 1million dead – do the math! …..that is going to deal some serious amount of irradiated DEAD worldwide…..this civilization of our is a priapic bloated jaded Mandarin with an over-sensitised anus…….decadent & now redundant!

    • Charlotte NC Bill

You write like that visible origami guy over at http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk News flash for ya': It’s really none of your business how the Japanese people felt about their emperor…Actually, it ‘s no more illogical that the trust the average American has in his corporate/govt controlled news media or his compromised “democracy”…there are people out there Laferia that sit in front of Bill O’Reilly every night-and enjoy being lied to…”You 9-11 truth people…” Even as he knows 9-11 was done by Mossad and it’s assets inside and outside the US govt…What a country!

      • Right on, Bill! Most Americans are little more than dumbed-down sheeple. You would have to be an idiot to accept the government’s official story that fires caused the Twin Towers to collapse and that 19 Muslims headquartered in Afghanistan somehow miraculously defeated the billion-dollar-a-day U.S. intelligence apparatus.

  20. I have to say that as much as what you write looks good on paper………The MAIN western gripe against Japan was started initially with beating the Imperial Russian Army at Port Arthur in 1905, followed by the 21 demands Japan made on China in 1915. IT WAS NOT THE DESPICABLE & VICIOUS behaviour of the Japanese that shocked the Western powers concerned with “cutting the Chinese watermelon” but the fact that Japan – was the only Asian nation able to beat & triumphant over Western Colonial interest in Asia & Japan also exhibited the same BLOODTHIRSTY greed & lust like her Western compadres in Conquest, subjugation, slavery & RAPE – see “Rape of Nanking”.
My Grandfather was tortured to death in Changi Prison in Singapore! The Japanese were BARBARIC in their treatment of civilians & people as a whole!
They only exhibited the same same as the colonial powers and their racist regimes! Like WWI in Europe being a family fight between Royal Houses & finally finding out who exactly bankrolled WWII & seriously profitted from it! ………….dirty dirty human greed & lust – Japan was just as evil & vicious as her Rivals!

  21. Premier Wen Jiabao of China has offered to bail out Greece and save the Euro.China is free from the Western banking parasites because they have Govt Banks,so it is in their interests to see the present yoke of debt around our necks tighten and enable them to buy up more of our assets for cents on the $.

The Central Banking Cartels could quite easly do a deal with China to save themselves from us, the angry masses and make us slaves to two masters.

    • Amen here Ross. You are right on the money…the greatest irony of all.

      • Jim Dean.Just pay careful attention to what currency China bails out Greece and the other PIGS with. They hold $ 2 trillion of US debt ,so the loans logically will be in US $.It is a game of musical chairs and the Western traitors have painted us and themselves into a gigantic economic black hole.

Very few will come out of this debacle in a better position since we in the West are looking at a total system collapse because money has become more important than production.

    • China’s banking system is just as corrupt as Americas.
This is why they are so careful. Were they to have robust banking, China would act more assertively.
China is at great financial risk, much more than you guess.
      g

    • China is just as much under the thumb of the international banksters as the West. During the Clinton years, the Chinese allowed over 50% foreign investment in their banks.

    • The Wall Street banks have the biggest advantage of borrowing money from the FED window at the lowest of rates which gives them the biggest advantage since they can just use the money to buy government bonds and treasuries that pay more in interest than it costs them to borrow the money so that they make easy profits off of the U.S. government. If access to this money was equal for all, then things could get better for everyone and not just the banks. Wholesale prices are no longer just for retailers these days except for borrowing and lending money which favors the big banks with their interest usury. Money and its supply should be controlled by Congress and not by the Federal Reserve Bank.

  22. Some of the commenters mistakenly think this article blames Japan’s war crimes on the way she was treated by the US and Britain. It does not – it says nothing about those crimes – it blames Japan’s entry into the war on that treatment. The only thing it says about war crimes is it was hypocritical for those responsible for Hiroshima to try Japanese leaders. “Victor’s justice” is any oxymoron, and it continues – the International Criminal Court has just issued a warrant for Col. Gaddafi.

  23. What we all have to realise is the fundamental reason for the increase in the money supply. Why is it necessary sometimes to create money from nothing and at other times it is devestating to our economies.

When each of us in our mundane lives do something special or work extra hard,we add to the Gross Domestic Product,so new money must be added to the system to represent it.With the instigation of Central Banks in the USA in 1913,this meant that the banksters owned this new productivity and then have the audacity to loan it back to us at interest.

Would you allow your neighbour to steal from you and then loan these stolen goods back to you at interest? In all reality ,it is tripple theft, since what should be expressed by our Govts as a tax credit gets expressed as debt to private banksters who produce nothing of tangible worth. So from credit to debt you owe double, then you have to pay interest. Now wonder there are so many poor people on the planet!

There is another destructive dimension to these banksters.By virtue of keeping so many people so poor, they are limiting the creative potential of billions who can create new ways to overcome energy and food shortages.Poor people have more babies and so the cycle goes on.

Let’s look at another side of these greedy ego-centric morons. After WW2 the USA had a great opportunity to improve the well being of the planet.Instead we got the IMF,World Bank and a host of charities they fed off the people whom they enslaved .To get Western Technology, they had to buy Western money with debt and often set up corrupt despots who stole even more from hard working people.Hence we in the West have the image of coloured people being lazy and incompetent when in fact they were enslaved by the banksters debt money system.

  24. On second thought, this is simply disgusting! This place just keeps getting worse and worse. How about you folks go to Korea and try preaching this bovine excrement to the Korean people and Korean scholars. Try going to China and doing the same. Try going to the families of those Dutch nurses that were gunned down on the beach by the Japanese Imperial Forces. I’m sure all those families and people will be immediately converted to the line of thinking that all those atrocities happened because the poor, unfortunate Japanese people had no choice but to slaughter tens of thousands of human beings to stand up against the “Western” bankers.

    • Charlotte NC Bill

Poor unfortunate people…Yeah, they were..they were prostrate..an island nation with no navy….virtually no air power left ( Aug 1945 ) and wanted peace w/o occupation and wanted to keep their Emperor..But no…we just HAD to show the world what our new toys could do…

    • All you have to do here is separate the underlying reasons for the war…which is clearly a totally separate issue with the conduct of the war. The Americans had no problem with the history of atrocities by the Soviets. The Roosevelt, during the last election campaign told the Polish communitis in Chicago and Milwaukee that there would be free Poland after the war, when he had already made the deal at Potsdam to give to the Commies.

So you are a little late getting disgusting. It’s always disgusting. Look what banking shenanighans did to us recently while the war was going on, and the Euro, etc. None of this is new….other than the Communist Chinese showing up to help stimulate the Euro recovery. You just can’t make this stuff up.

  25. I am a little confused how I am supposed to factor Japan’s aggression against the Korean and Chinese peoples into this explanation as to how Japan was forced to fight a war against the “Western” nations.

    • On both the 50th and 60th anniversaries commemorating the end of World War II, Japanese officials, including Japan’s prime minister Junichiro Koizumi14 on the latter occasion, have apologized. Clearly such apologies are misplaced and it is perhaps America who should be apologizing to the Japanese for having provoked them into a senseless and useless war, which according to Allied propaganda was fought to make the world safe for democracy.

This paragraph is laughable and clearly shows that Mrs. Zundel does not have a clue what happened in SE Asia long before WW2 started!.How shall we explain that the Japanese had their spies in Indonesia, some 10-15 years before WW2???
On the day that the Pearl Harbor occurred, the japanese who had been taylors, shoemakers, taxidermist, stood in japanese officer uniform in front of their stores. Apart from the nurses think of all the casualties because of the Birma RailRoad that the Japs wanted to build with prisoners of war.On average 75 workers a day died along the railroad, 15000 prisoners of war, including 100 000 Thai and Indonesian forced labourers.died and are burried in Birma and Thailand. Women and children were interned in concentration camps all over Indonesia and Malaysia. Casualties run into the thousands, perhaps 10000 women and children died from malnutrition or abuse by the japanese. Then there were the comfort women, selected at random by japanese of their sexual gratification.

Japan was highly interested in SE Asia for its natural resources as Japan has none of this and it sorely needed them.
Are we now going to declare Japan the victim of WW2???

Mrs Zundel has huge gaps in her knowledge of the Asian part of WW2 and particularly Japan. She should stick to Germany. That is where her forte is.

Japan’s occupation of Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines was long premeditated. Their acts of cruelty are certainly equal as those taking place in Palestine. They groomed the Indonesians to fight for their independence from the Dutch because they wanted to colonialise Indonesia. However, the Indonesians got wind of that and they were nicely butchered by the Indonesians if they did not run for their life!!!!

    • This is a very good question. The answer can be found in a book titled “Imperial Cruise”. President Roosevelt had promoted a Monroe Doctrine for Japan in Asia shortly after the turn of the century. He felt that the whole of asia was uncivilized, and that Japan could do the work of America in Asia, by subjegating the weaker, lower, less evolved people by the more civilized Japanese. This is progressive ideology. These are progressive policies. Progressives like Roosevelt and Wilson promoted a militarized Japan, and actually encouraged Japan to adopt a Monroe Doctrine of their own. Read the book.

  26. Safely after decades of 20/20 hindsight is a tenuous form of revisionism that portrays the Federal Reserve Bank as the prime catalyst of ALL the atrocities our friends under the Divine Emperor Hirohito and the Empire of the Rising Sun committed all over the Pacific in their chain of conquest that stretched from Malaysia to the Phillipines. Does the Bataan Death March qualify as a war atrocity under the guidelines this author wants us to believe ?

    • Charlotte NC Bill

The Bataan Death March occurred AFTER we maneuvered Japan into making the first strike ( google Admiral McCollum’s 8 point plan Nov.1940 )…The Japs were fighting the communists in China..the Germans were fighting the soviets….I’ve long concluded that we should have minded our own business-or we were fighting the wrong people..

    • That is why the British gave the emperor The prestigious award of the Royal Order of the Garter.be cause he was doing the bidding of the City of London, banks

  27. Really ? You seem to eat the elephant much swifter than the average goy. The most virulent of anti-semites like MOI, would just state matter of factly the Talmudic Terrorists {JEWISH} manufacture wars to lend CREDIT/DEBT to both sides lending credit to the TRUTH Wars are the Jews harvest. What is positively STUNNING is the slaughter of over 300 million GOY and the economic RAPE of 200 plus nations since WWI. {I’m still interested in your understanding of the Judahites being Germans} Like in the Day of Jezreel..[http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Hosea+1&version=KJV] I am very interested in the people who are Israelites {specifically Germans} to become knowledgable concerning what is actually written that has nothing to do with imposters = USURPERS = or Identity thieves. Maybe you can help, as Ernst has laid waste to “THEIR” modern math narrative conflating 30 thousand to SIX MILLIONS…Israel is a people not a place, Khazars are not Israel. [http://disc.yourwebapps.com/discussion.cgi?id=149495;article=137591] …great work.
