Best Job in Town: Pimping for Gaddafi

“WikiWhores 2,” Gaddafi Buys the Left and Right

By Gordon Duff, Senior Editor

Until Gaddafi decided to become a “stealth” neocon and Israel lover back in 2002, he was considered the worst person in the world.  He kept Libya in line with a powerful secret police and bribes to tribal leaders while the greatest part of Libya’s wealth disappeared into Swiss banks, wild African adventures and bribes, press, politicians, everyone worth owning, Gaddafi bought.

Gaddafi’s nuclear, biological and chemical warfare programs were larger than Iraqs in the 80′s, (when they actually existed) and are due to be dismantled by 2045 according to agreements between Gaddafi and the Bush/Blair governments.

Untold millions of Gaddafi’s money went directly to terrorists.  It still does.

Back in January, the people of Libya turned on Gaddafi.  His response was to begin a slaughter.  He went to Israel for mercenaries though his military had always been largely foreign, mostly from the former Soviet Union.  Members of the press were kidnapped and murdered, snipers by the hundreds shot down women and children in the streets while his army, tightly controlled and drowning in oil cash, unleashed a massive barrage of rockets and artillery on rebel cities.

Thousands died.  NATO stepped in, half heartedly.

This was the truth then, free of wild conspiracy theories, beheading films and the deluge of money buying favorable press for Gaddafi, funneled through his Neocon/Zionist/GOP friends.

This is how we end up with Cynthia McKinney and Michelle Bachmann in “bed together” as it were, this two and so many others.

We also learn a lesson, much as with Wikileaks.

Many of those, the media darlings of the left, are little but “placeholders.”  They are there to prevent others more credible, more threatening from moving up.  Wikileaks taught us this with the anti-Zionist movement.  So many came out backing Wikileaks even though criticism of Israel was strangely edited out of anything released.  The more “Israel friendly” Wikileaks became, the more those who, for years, expressed so much venom against Israel loved Wikileaks and defended it.

Then we began to ask the question:  Could Israel have actually been running most anti-Zionist organizations all along?  Would this fit in Jeff Gate’s “game theory” analysis of Israel?  Are Israeli’s students of Lenin:

“The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves.”
Vladimir Ilyich Lenin

Then it came out in a deluge, Wikileaks and Assange tied to Israel, working directly with the New York Times and other mainstream publications, censoring the news, planting phony stories and, worst of all, lobbying for war with Iran.  Assange, the “rebel” became Assange the war monger, the liar, the cheat, Assange the spy.

So now, Israel waits, ready to “rebrand” Julian Assange and Wikileaks, depending on ignorance and a short memory to serve them again as it had in the past.  Assange will rise from the dead, again a mythic figure, photographed “Mussolini style” as before, the same story, hounded, harried and falsely accused.

The real Assange, of course, stalks the corridors of power, voice of Israel, voice of war, voice of big oil, voice of suppressed truth, of misinformation, the voice of global conspiracy.

Now we see it again, poor harried Colonel Gaddafi, no longer a mass murderer, no longer a terrorist, no longer one of the world’s great degenerates.  His defenders?  This is the best part.

Gaddafi has done us a great service as had Assange.  We have another litmus.  We can now spot the fools among us, uncover the snakes in our midst.  Its easy.

Long ago, Gaddafi has begun funneling money into the Nation of Islam and Louis Farrakhan.  Farrakhan has a legitimate debt to Gaddafi, a debt he is repaying.  There is honor in this, perhaps not honesty but honor, a rare occasion where the two divest.

We have also traced Gaddafi money into America’s black churches, money funneled through religious leaders and, from there, into key political races.  Gaddafi knew Africa and especially African Americans would be a fertile ground where his money and power would serve him well.  Denied empire and respect elsewhere, this was his playground, pouring money into African corruption and, in the process, rightly predicting the next real terror battleground, Africa.

This is being played out in Nigeria this week in terror bombings meant to disrupt a Christian president, Goodluck Jonathan, elected with wide Islamic support.  Gaddafi thrives on disruption, disunity and dissent.  He see’s himself a “player.”  We see his hand, long active in Africa, long the real backer of the groups called “Al Qaeda” from the Central African Republic to Darfur to Mali to Nigeria.

While closely aligning himself with Bush, Blair and the Zionist crowd, Gaddafi continued, to quietly develop nerve gas, crop diseases, new forms of anthrax-hemorrhagic fever hybrids and bury a nuclear program so effectively he might not be able to find it himself.

The most curious aspect of Gaddafi’s Washington offensive has been his methodology.

The top lobby firm for national leaders on the edge of war crimes indictments has always been Giuliani and Company.  Their client lists are secret, their influence, particularly during the Bush regime, was total and they have along standing agreements with Israeli intelligence, the pro-Israel press and the big money lobbys that fund the radical conservative movements to eliminate medicare and social security.

Their job is simple:  They exist to make sure, not part of the “pie” but all of it goes to the rich.

This is where Giuliani began, moving first against President Obama for overstepping his authority by following the United Nations Security Council decision and supporting action to stop Gaddafi’s artillery attacks on civilians.  As the disinformation machine went into high gear, it was aimed two directions:

  • The extreme right wing anti-Obama crowd and
  • The “America haters”…those “left of the left” who wish for nothing more than America to fail

Their chosen battlefield was, to a large extent, the internet, where “independent journalists” are bought and sold like baseball cards.

Obama and company along with NATO clearly overstepped, quickly demanding regime change.  When the ICC in the Hague indicted Gaddafi, the issue was complicated even more.  When Gaddafi’s crimes were superseded by Syria and Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Kuwait became fully complicit, and curiously immune to prosecution, Gaddafi’s paid conspiracy theorists had real meat behind them.

Problem is, the conspiracy theorists, the paid phonies, began long before Syria happened or Bahrain or even Yemen.  While Gaddafi’s diplomats were jumping ship, leaving only his stalwarts, the torturers and thugs that kept him in power for decades at his beck and call, his propaganda machine was already in motion.

Their first job was to label Tunisia and Egypt, the “Arab Spring” as both a CIA and Al Qaeda plot.  Today, the same folks, left or right, depending on which hour of the day or day of the week, label Arab uprisings as CIA or Al Qaeda.  Even Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stops short of this.

The next move to support Gaddafi was to claim the oil companies and bankers were after him.  The funny part, of course, is that those using this ploy in support of Gaddafi actually are the oil companies and bankers attacking themselves.

Embarrassingly, Gaddafi got $37 billion in Bush era bail out money, paid to the Bank of Libya, his private personal stash and authorized by the Federal Reserve, the American congress and, of course, the President of the United States.  By official count, this equals the US aid given to Israel for over a decade.  Where the money went, we don’t know but we do know where some of it went, as with the billions given to Israel.

It was kicked back to friends in Washington.

The next step in rehabilitating Gaddafi, while his artillery was still pounding cities flat and his snipers shooting down children in the street was to tell of his model society, the great “Green Book democracy” as Cynthia McKinney calls it, citing Gaddafi’s “election” to office via military coup in 1969 followed by 42 years of election preparations.

Last but not least are the atrocity films and photos, beheadings, burned children.  Where did they come from?

A cursory check of the internet find their source to be Zionist/Neocon websites and their origins to be Washington public relations agencies tied to Israel.

Politically, you would characterize those using this recent approach as anti-Obama, Neocon, “Israeli firsters” and pro-Palestinian.

OK, let’s try that one again.

Anyone have a problem with pro-Israeli anti-Zionists?

How about looking at it a different way.  We can call them Islamophobic pro-Palestinians.

What we have ended up with is Michelle Bachmann supporting groups that are, according to Israel and the United States, directly involved in terrorism.

What we have, of course, is a “Wiki-lesson.”  What we have done is expose bribery and duplicity.

To support Gaddafi, you have to be an extreme leftist Tea Party type who worships Israel but wants to push the Jews there into the sea.

What we are describing, of course, are an inbred version of Fox News enthusiasts on acid.  It’s a new world out there.  Anyone can be anything, if the price is right.

And so it goes…

A Closing Note:

For those who tend to hit shopping carts and drive over curbs;

Israel is actively calling for the downfall of Assad in Syria, for the bombing of Iran, for the seizure of Pakistan’s nuclear weapons.  They orchestrated the destruction of Iraq and Afghanistan, work closely with Saudi Arabia and control the Persian Gulf states like hand puppets.

Gaddafi has a 40 year history of talking about Israel’s destruction and defending the rights of Palestinians but, when he is “on the ropes,” not a whimper or moan is heard from Tel Aviv about bringing him down, quite the opposite.

Their powerful lobby in the US is working overtime to save him.

There is never a word about finding Gaddafi’s WMDs nor of the terror cells he has financed around the world.

Gaddafi is, as far as Tel Aviv is concerned, is forgiven all, like an errant son.

    • Holy SHIT G… I will need to read this at least three times, and I still think you may be Pimping… I know what I Know, I know what I read, and I know the whole situation is FUBAR! I will Post again after some resolution, thought, perspective. I know you openly called for the attack on Gaddafi, I know you stated Gaddafi was Israels Golden Boy, I know now that the Nato defenses are fighting with (Alledgedly) Al Queda Terrorists, that beheaded this man from Libia. (Susan)The same people we (fight) in other countries…And you state as a ‘far Leftist’ I know, that I am Left of the Bachmann, Perry’s, Walkers Scots. and Pailin, Mccains of this world. Yet you call those supporting them Left. I now see where you come from. Great work! I hope it is…

      • Yet Cynthia McKinney and Michelle Bachmann are rooms apart, Towns apart, worlds apart in their understanding. McKinney has the Info down pretty well, Bachmann, that little 4 foot Nine troll has Lying to a SCIENCE!-Something Republicans Hate to have exposed.-Check out the Fact finding of this lunatic Troll, right winger willing to steal away any right you ever were born with!! Why don’t the two troll loser liers wrap arms together, and you can have the Pailin Troll ticket! One with skid marks in her soiled panties and the other getting hot Flashes as she Bullshits you!-Wikipedia has been changing recently, and should never, NEVER, be used as as Reference. That is for sure.

        • It blows my mind TJ that McKinney is caught up in this. That’s assuming Gordon is right. Like I said below, I don’t who to believe anymore. Maybe that’s a good thing. I need my world rocked every once in a while to make me look at things in a different light. You want to see a troll, check out the lack of humanity in Scott Walker’s eyes. His expression in some pictures actually reminded me of John Hinckley, the guy who shot Reagan. I think it was Hinckley anyway. It’s too early in the morning and too many manchurian candidates to keep track of!

          • Kelli
There seems to be a “professional left.”

          • For sure Gordon there are politicians and pundits who are not what they seem and use left-minded people just as there are those that use the right. I just didn’t think Cynthia McKinney was one of them.

          • Thanks Kelli, Gordon,I do not think McKinney is part of this Professional Left, I definitely believe she is her own person, for sure. I have not had an oppurtunity to look in Scot Walkers eyes yet, though I will, and then I will take a ‘Hops’ of him. Then I will truely understand this BITCH-More than I do now. I did post recently , that I was vacillating more towards McKinney, than Obama, because of her staunch stand on the realities that are out there. She truely understands the problems that are inherant in our government. She most probably is not ever going to get the votes-That is for sure. I appreciate her knowledge and demeanor of the sources of our disdain, demise…She get’s it!. I hope Obama picks up on her knowledge. She is truely a Gem of a lady involved in US Polotics…

    • I wish I could locate the video of Ms. Bachmann in Los Angeles at a campaign ralley…Steve Poisner was also present, he was running for office in california…Ms. Bachmann resembled a rabid rover while chanting praises for Israel…

  1. Well, perhaps Gordon will say Gaddafi paid off everyone but there are those that after comparing Gadaffi to other leaders give him high praise for the standard of living in Libya. Don’t shoot the messenger. Excerpts from an article:

    Libya: “The Price of Freedom”
Highest Standard of Living in Africa

    by Joachim Guilliard

Libya has the highest living standard in Africa. The “United Nations Development Program (UNDP) confirms that the country has excellent prospects for achieving United Nations development goals by 2015. NATO’s war will have already dashed those hopes. A collapse like the one in Iraq now threatens the country.

There has been little reaching the European public in the past few years about Libya, whose relationship with the West had normalized. European leaders met with their Libyan counterpart Muammar al-Gadhafi often and business flourished. In the course of preparation for war, the country was suddenly transformed into the most evil dictatorship. Even many war opponents accepted this characterization as their own and now want to overthrow the “tyrant.”

But if Libyan society can really be reduced to the “revolutionary leader” Gadhafi in Libya, is the situation really worse than in a hundred other countries and are there not many more factors that determine the living conditions of a country, besides Western-style “freedoms”?

For Richard Falk, the UN special rapporteur for human rights in Palestine, the “degree of repression” in Libya is not “more pervasive and severe” than in other authoritarian countries. Even according to Amnesty International’s country reports of human rights conditions, that of Libya differs little from many other countries; regarding the Arab allies in the NATO war alliance, such as Saudi Arabia, it is even much worse.

The UN Human Rights Council has praised the country in its latest report on the “universal periodic review” of Libya, which was made late last year, even for its progress on human rights.

For the Western media, this report, whose final debate has now been shifted abruptly from March to June, is a scandal (for them it’s the result of there being many “less civilized” members of the Human Rights Council, those from the world’s South). But what these countries did was to view living conditions from a different perspective, one that places a strong emphasis on the realization of social rights, i.e., the satisfaction of basic needs, including adequate income, food, housing, health care and education.

Although the media often refers to youth unemployment of 15 to 30 percent, it does not mention that in Libya, in contrast to other countries, all have their subsistence guaranteed.

“In Libya, there may be millions who dislike Gaddafi but like much of what he accomplished,” according to the famous Norwegian peace researcher Johan Galtung (The West’s War Against Gadhafi – Yet another long-lasting, tragic crime against humanity, IPS, Global Research , April 6, 2011)

After government revenue, supported by rising oil prices, richly flowed once more, living conditions have clearly improved. The country now ranks 53rd on the HDI index, better than all other African countries and also better than the richer and Western-backed Saudi Arabia. Using “Government subsidies in health, agriculture and food imports,” along with “a simultaneous increase in household income,” could “extreme poverty” be virtually eliminated, stated the UNDP in its monitor of the millennium development goals of the UN. (Millennium Development Goals: Goal 1 – Goal 8, UNDP Libya Office)

The UNDP-calculated Education Index, which in addition to literacy also includes the number of pupils in secondary schools and university students, is even higher than that of small super-rich emirates Kuwait and Qatar, which can hardly be compared with the Arab territorial states. (See UNDP, Arab Human Development Report 2009 and UNDP, Human Development Report 2009)

The UNDP certified that Libya has also made “a significant progress in gender equality,” particularly in the fields of education and health, while there is still much to do regarding representation in politics and the economy. With a relative low “index of gender inequality” the UNDP places the country in the Human Development Report 2010 concerning gender equality at rank 52 and thus also well ahead of Egypt (ranked 108), Algeria (70), Tunisia (56), Saudi Arabia (ranked 128) and Qatar (94). Even Argentina (ranked 60) seems worse in this regard.

In view of these achievements, the positive Human Rights assessment of developments in Libya should hardly be a surprise.

    The example of Iraq

In 1980, Iraq also had a relatively high living standard, even higher than that of Libya. This collapsed massively under the murderous UN embargo [1990-2003]. Their “liberation” from Saddam Hussein then toppled Iraqi society completely into the abyss. The collapse is still going on.

Millions of Iraqis are starving, and the lack of food is still increasing. Half of the nearly 30 million people are now living in extreme poverty. Some 55 percent have no clean drinking water, 80 percent are not connected to the sewage system. Electricity is available only an hour here, an hour there; the once good health and education systems are flattened. Had the development of the conditions in the 1980s continued, the infant mortality rate would now well below 20 per 1000 births. In fact, according to a study by the aid agency Save the Children, by 2005 it had increased to 125. Iraq had been recognized by UNESCO in 1987 for its education system; illiteracy had been almost eliminated. Now, the illiteracy rate has already increased to over 25 percent in some areas it is already 40-50 percent among women. In general, Iraqi women have lost their once very good position in society. According to UNDP’s index, they fell to the level of Saudi Arabia. (See Iraq – The Forgotten Occupation)

There is no reason to assume that a “regime change” in Libya enforced by the NATO states would come out much better for the country (not to mention a long civil war and partition of the country altogether). Finally, the attacking forces and their agenda is almost identical and in many ways the leadership of the insurgency resembles the Iraqis that the U.S. set up in the government there — that is, radical Islamic organizations and pro-Western, neo-liberal advocates of a complete opening to imperialism, and privatization of the economy of the country.

Brian: I think the Libyans will be worse off if the rebels and their backers take over the country. I’m still amazed the rebel’s almost immediately established their own central bank. Oh my the powerful international backers supporting a group of murdering thugs. Some of them have been trying to overthrow Gaddafi off and on for years.

If anyone at VT has proof that Joachim Guilliard is on Gadaffi’s payroll I would like to see it.

Based on what I’ve read It’s hard for me to see NATO as the good guys.

Obama wouldn’t do anything in the Middle East without a direct order or approval from the Israelis. Perhaps the Israelis are helping out their international banker friends with the NATO assault on Libya. Oh my, reports say the rebels are going to allow the Israelis to build a military base in Libya. I wonder how much bribe money and enticing Israeli Swallows and Ravens were provided to the rebels.

In general VT seems to support the NATO attack on Libya, what about Bahrain? They’re killing unarmed civilians – they’re not attacking, vicious rebels with weapons who want to take over the country such as in Libya.

  2. Brian
The Heritage Foundation wrote the article you quote. It was paid for by Gaddafi. Being hanged on a lamp post or tortured to death isn’t much of a standard of living.

    • Well, okay, but I was curious and I did a quick Google search for the author’s name and Heritage Foundation and didn’t see anything tying him to the Heritage Foundation by looking at the short summary on the Google results page. I will take your word for it.

The author does quote the UN Human Rights Council, Richard Falk, the UN special rapporteur for human rights in Palestine and Norwegian peace researcher Johan Galtung. Perhaps he’s written all of the checks, I don’t know. :-)

The positive and negative information about Gaddafi make this one of the strangest situations I’ve seen.

I still think the standard of living will probably decline if the rebels take over.

      • Brian,
Does the Heritage Foundation put its private client output on google? Geez.
As for Falk, you are behind on this one also.
But, as you are a neocon bush supporter, you should be behind gaddafi and israel.
I just go a different direction.
hey…as long as you are having fun.
remember…months ago..when jonathan was writing how the rebels didn’t want american help?
he got his info from gaddafi..and, of course, didn’t know it.
you now have more of the same.
reporters are living the life in tripoli…..best food, limousines….champagne…..and continual press releases from gaddafi
no press with the rebels…who wants to be shot or blown up?
        g

        • Gordon wrote:

I just go a different direction.

Oh come on Gordon!!!! Oh my.

Well you often mention the cozy relationship Gaddafi has with Israel and in the past that may have been the case, but NATO is trying to kill him and since Israel controls the US, Great Britain and France and thus NATO the Israelis must want him dead.

By the way Gordon, any truth to the story that NATO intentionally blew up the house of a very good friend of Gaddafi with the goal of killing his good friend? Any truth to the story that numerous women and children were killed in the attack? NATO is an Israeli stooge organization. NATO should be broken up.

NATO isn’t going after the murdering governments in Bahrain and Syria who kill unarmed civilians but rather it’s killing people on behalf of murdering, vicious thugs known as rebels who want to become millionaires.

          • Yes Brian. This is a strange case indeed. I agree with your statement that NATO is owned and at the beck & call of the globalist controllers. What it is doing in Libya is criminal & indefensible. What about Bahrain? No, don’t touch, that murderous dictator is ‘our guy’.. A world of double standards and murder by design. The era of bombing a country and its citizens into the stone age is over; we have to rise above that barbarism.

          • Brian It is a very strange event when the people you condemned threaten you for your influence, free speech. This appears to be the events here. Attack him , because, support the others, because…That is what I love about here. Because we can all see the big picture, and only a few of the Kings men can tell us what is going on. This Sunday, I went to the VA in Westwood Cal. In Support of the Veterans Plight for Homeless Housing. I met Robert Rosebrock, and spoke with him for fifteen, twenty minutes. I told him I was here because of Gordon Duff’s Article on Veterans Today. Through our Conversation , Robert Mentioned Casually, that Gordon was ‘Far Left’ … I said I know and that is why I love him…He is Left, and Keep that in mind, while the Dogs Of War keep him chained…Gordon, if you start in support of Pailin, Perry, Walker, Scot, Romney, Paul or any other loser just waiting to make Grandma Homeless, without any Social Security Net, then we all will know Bullshit Nutti Yahoo has gotten to you. Have a nice night and know that there are those of us out to protect you.-They don’t need to know. Just when they attempt their Bullshit-Free Palestine!!!

      • cargo-holds of cash are difficult to trace.

    • “…tortured to death…” Welcome to Amerika.

  3. What happened Gordon? You seem to have made a complete U-turn these last couple of months…. I used to like your stuff, but I am having second thoughts lately. Have Israel offered you the right price? Threatened you? Did you take a knock on the head?

    • or, perhaps, I pay attention and some of us are duped….pissed on and learn to love it
…i do so remember all the grief i used to be about opposing wikileaks
      look at it this way…
      i know my batting average…
you might want to consider that
      g

      • It’s not a matter of “paying attention”, it’s a matter of moral reasoning.

      • Gordon,

There is something real wrong in your logic. What gives NATO or the U.S. the right to attack any nation? Can you please answer this question?

There are many bad governments in the world and the U.S, is on the top of the list. The U.S. has more than 800 bases around the world but apparently, that isn’t enough. How many more nations with ‘bad guys’ should the U.S, and NATO attack? How much more money will the U.S. pour into the military industrial complex? Do you not realize that the U.S is broke?

        What exactly are you suggesting?

        • Olga,
Oddly, the UN, now the ICC.
          Yes, others deserve it.
On the other hand, why would someone defend a mass murderer? Gaddafi is certainly that.
Simply because he is throwing money around….
You defense of a monster is a carefully crafted Gaddafi talking point, one morally bankrupt.
You are saying, since we can’t defeat all evil, no evil should be opposed?
NATO very much has the right to attack Gaddafi. They don’t have the right to remove him from power. They can, now, however, be empowered to arrest and detain Gaddafi for trial.
Then you can ask, why not Assad or others.
          Do ask such things.
Life is not simple. You would make it so.
          g

          • Gordon,

Don’t you think the U.S, needs to clean its own house before it self righteously condemns other monsters?

The U.S. has murdered millions of people since WWII. Based on your reasoning, should other nations attack America? I have never defended Gaddafi as a person. However, since you brought him up, how does Gaddafi compare to what the U.S has done in the last few decades?

Which of the ‘wild beasts’ are better, the tiger or the bear?

  4. gordon
je pense que vous avez dupe tout le monde…vous jouez a tout les tableaux pour collecter des infos…je suis decu par vous j’ai cru en vous gordon c’est dommage un de plus…

  5. Canadian prime minister Stephen Harper is Israel’s favourite sock puppet. He does nothing before clearing it with Bibi Netanyahu. If Harper has involved Canada up to the neck in Libya, it has been with Israel’s blessing.

P.S. Today, Canada’s smiling foreign minister was in Libya handing out supplies to the rebel (CIA) leadership.

  6. Of course Gaddafi is not a nice man. The leaders of countries anywhere in the world are not nice people. They have to be cutthroats to get to the top and stay on top. Political convenience tops political philosophy every time.
The Market Oracle: http://www.marketoracle.co.uk is a website that posts articles from financial analysts and other Wall Street types. The point of view of the writers covers the waterfront, and includes many who were and are adamantly opposed to the bank bailouts. This site has posted several stories about the attacks on Libya from a global economic perspective. The recurring themes are that Gaddafi has stockpiled several hundred tons of gold the past 15 without declaring it. He has made statements about oil being sold in gold dinars. He is a threat to the US dollar, and the banking system in general. Saddam became the devil incarnate when he started selling his European bound oil, in Euros. Iran announced plans for an oil bourse which would buy or sell oil in any currency. The response? Bomb them back to the stone age.

So Gordon, other than oil, what did Iraq, and do Iran, Libya, North Korea, and Venezuela have in common? Not nuclear programs, or biological weapons programs. They operate outside the reach of the IMF, World Bank, and the Rothschild owned Federal Reserve. Gaddafi, like Saddam, has become a loose cannon that could collapse the house of cards. He has to be removed. All wars are economic wars, or as Smedley Butler said, “war is a racket”.

  7. Charlotte NC Bill

I’m with Ken on this one…Sure, it would be nice if Ghadafi really WAS anti-Zionist..Sure, it would be nice if he had sent his air force to make a run on the bastards when they were pummeling the prostrate Palestinians or the almost as helpless Lebanese….Etc..etc…But who wins if the Anglo-american cabal break up another arab state? who wins if the rebels set-up a privately owned central bank in Benghazi for their 1/2 of Libya? What good can come from contaminating Libya with the depleted uranium munitions these sick bastards seem to be so fond of useing?

  8. Gaddafi, like our other bestest buddy, Saddam Hussein, PO’d the international gangster banksters when he made a common sense statement about wanting to start getting paid in a currency actually worth something, gold, rather than the toilet paper the Fed issues.

Never thought we could have a president that would make GW Bush look like a Rhodes Scholar, but Michelle Bachmann will.

Her ADLtube videos about Israel don’t allow comments.

    Wonder why?

  9. The seething cauldron of zionazi “Talmudic terrorist” intrigue is directly proportional to the amount of Phoney Money..AKA.”CURRENCY” in circulation, and inversely proportional to the dwindling supply of “moral reasoning”…When pray tell did stupid change true ?

  10. Gordon, you told Kevin Barrett that aid to Israel may be up to forty billion per annum after factoring in contracts etc. Can you give us any more details?

    • We give Israel about 3b in overt aid, 7b in military credits, equipment, etc, they are allowed to sell and billions in defense and technology subsidies.
Israel is the 4th largest producer of military technology in the world. the US is their largest customer
30b is a good estimate for defense profits, technology transfers, legal and thru spying.
      g

      • Israel receives $3billion in military aid (the same thing as military credit) and no financial aid. At least 75% of this military aid must be spent in the US. It also receives loan guarantees which Israel may or may not use when it borrows money. See http://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/mideast/RL33222.pdf

        What are you talking about?

        • Thank you, Paul, for providing the Hasbara numbers. Bibi thanks you, too.

          • I’m sure you read through the report and even took the intiative to find out what fas.org is, right?

        • Paul, pick up a copy of Stan Rittenhouse’s book, “For Fear of the Jews”…read about America’s labor union pension dollars, and where they landed…when the teamsters and longshoremen wake-up to the reality that dollars to Israel are “grants”, not loans; things otta get interesting to say the least.

    • Min Egan, in the past I have always known you to be one of the threateners… I even posted for you to ,well for better words, leave NOW. You and your other Israeli Friend…Tell me I am Wrong…

    • From all of my research, “volumes” of it posted on this website, Gordon’s number may be low.

  11. He lost me at calling the “left” teabaggers! The left despises the Teabagger right wing evangelical thugs. No one seems to think about some facts with Gaddafi. Its true his people were delivered a water system into every home in Libya. He was behind the African Union, (which was hated by the imperialists and colonization) bunch…NATO! He refused to give up his Oil to american oil companies (just like Iran and Iraq). Not to turn over your oil is fighting words, meaning you will bombed to smithereens. I dont buy this wiki zionist theory either. Read the frickin Palestinan Papers and tell me Wiki stands with Israel…not.

    • Thanks Spktruth200 I hear that.-G is a good man, and Good Men can be manipulated by threats. G has stated before that at least BB Yahoo has threatened him overtly…through E mail I believe…FCK Israel!
      Peace!

  12. Is anyone else here as disappointed as I am to hear about Cynthia McKinney being on Gaddafi’s payroll? I really don’t know what to believe anymore. Doesn’t this conflict with Susan Lindauer’s recent posting?

    • Kelli I agree One Hundred Percent!-How often do we agree??!

      • More than you think. We just had a spat over global warming. Let’s just say I’m WAY more left than I am right but I think the country needs to get away from both and start prosecuting criminals. We’re wasting too much time bickering.

        • Kelli

          • Smacko, Eric Holder and the Warburgs (banksters) go way back…Michael Collins Piper may call Christopher Bollyn, “kinky bollyn”; however, bollyn’s website posted an itinerary showing Holders & Warburg’s cozy enough to be travelling together, years ago. Hence, the DOJ is “in bed with” the bankers…get it.

          • …get it?

Now don’t forget, I love you too! ;-)

  13. kelli, I didnt like that allegation either;Cynthia has been the best statesman in and out of Congress for a long time. Anyone hated by Neal Boortz must be great. Gordon, if your job is to make folks think. Then you have done it; If you are stirring chaos as part of the grand scheme—you’ve done some of that too. When I first entered this game back in the 70s, I was told by a good authority that confusion and chaos was the goal of the biggest manipulators, The Pilgrim societies and British-Israel nutcases. I don’t think they needed Gadaffi money, but Gadaffi likely needed theirs long ago.

  14. Gordon, you may have successfully “persuaded” some of “us” to totally DISTRUST Lendman, Lindauer, McKinney and ALL the other Gaddafi-paid “left/right” whore internet defenders. (Strangely, none of the NON-internet MAJOR MEDIA print and network outlets owned or domninated by Zionists are parrroting the lies you “detect” from the above, they all demonize Gaddafi and with you, glorify the “rebels.”)
Pertinent question: “WHY DO YOU CONTINUE TO POST WHAT YOU ARE CERTAIN ARE LIES FROM Lendman, Lindauer – and all the others you are convinced are paid gaddafi-whores – on Veterans Today?” Contradictory? Perhaps VT readers could switch to Farah’s “IsraelNetDaily and “NewsMossad” and FOX for the neocon-ized “truth” about all going on. They NEVER interview or post the “lies” of Lendman, McKinnney, Masud and the rest whom you villify – OR refer to as STUPID.

    • Dick
It is my job to be right. I am not responsible for others. As to what is on VT, I am not the censor here. Susan writes what she does for the reasons she does.
There are really no questions about any of this. I am watching folks duped, childishly so. In fact, the Libya issue has made fools of many.
I simply tell it as it is.
You simply seem to be a bit over your head here. Your analytical tools are those of someone who watches too much television. You aren’t going to understand. It doesn’t really matter, you were never intended to understand anyway.
This is why the news is made up like children’s stories.

    • Gordon, you are the Best, that is a fact, yet I now understand the situation you are ‘obligated to’. I see the looking glass, Black is white, White is black, Left is right, Right is left…I truly understand the writing- I do!- Do you like Gardenia’s Capt. Willard… I love the smell of Gardenias…-Along the Ohio River…(Kurtz)

  15. Re: the comment about those, “Left of the Left” that want to see America fail. I imagine many of them don’t want to see the nation fail. Rather, they wish to see the Corporate stranglehold on the USA fail.

  16. No Gordon. You’re well wrong on this one. Read the Green Book.

The NWO hates Gaddafi because he is the worst threat of all.

The threat of a good example.

    • “…he is the worst threat of all.” Or, the worst threat of the week/month/year…whatever.

  17. So we are bombing Gaddafi because he likes Israel? I don’t think so.

Beware of imperialist liberators. Gaddafi stayed in power for 40 years and still has support for a number of reasons, many in Brian’s post. I don’t have a dog int hat fight and I don’t like the monarchists and islamists of the rebellion either.

    I say stop the bombing.

  18. Gordon, I wish I possessed YOUR special sources of information, “analytical tools,” and Inner Wisdom. I also apparently lacked them back in 1962-63 when, sending hundreds of snail mail letters, I attempted to PERSUADE members of Congress that our major media were LYING about DIEM. My (and others’ efforts) failed, Diem was murdered, paid for by naive JFK – resulting in the unnecessary bloodbath that maimed my helipcopter gunner nephew and (probably?) Gordon Duff. Hopefully when I get older and wiser, I may acquire some of your superior insights.

  19. Min Egan , I remember you and the Other prick, that stated blatently about Gordon’s wife and Kids, When they left for school or something. I told you that if you continue that, you may see a ‘Pale Horse’. I remember this as well. I suggested, instead of seeing the Pale Horse, leave now. I am serious. You all should welcome the Gaza Flotilla this July Fourth weekend, or Reap the Whirlwind…You and that UGLY Voiced wanna be Dry College Professor Asshole Benjamin(Bitch) Nutty Yahoo.-Love
    TJ

  20. I am now thoroughly confused.

  21. “He went to Israel for mercenaries though his military had always been largely foreign, mostly from the Soviet Union.”

Without the benefit of my library, at hand; Jews from the Soviet Union were transported to Israel by the plane-loads…this took place, even against the wishes of many Jews who wished to stay in Russia. Now, those “dual citizens” have immigrated to the U.S. These “Israeli’s” are now taking up residence in America. They are communists. The mercenaries gaddafi went to israel for are, most likely, these individuals. Anyone remember the Bolshevic (NOT RUSSIAN) Revolution?

“Gaddafi thrives on disruption, disunity and dissent.” SO DO COMMUNISTS.

  22. I can’t believe people are still saying Good VS. Evil – what are we, 5? Nothing is so black and white
All of this back and forth with left/right propganada is very confusing :
What we CAN be sure of is this: Libyans are killing Libyans with the help of interested former colonial powers. Are they doing it for free? NOPE.
Are they doing it because of a sudden overwhelming attack of altruism for the poor Libyan people, while ignoring Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and Burma? HELL NO.
I certainly hope it works out better than when we got an attack of the concerns for Iraq – its plain to see they are MUCH better off now than under the evil tyrant Saddam, right?
Sometimes its better to let people free themselves, than to go in there with our big hooknose smashing and bashing and destroying.

    • i’m sorry but if the Good Guys start wars and torture people, they aren’t so good.
if the Bad Guys provide for their people better than their former colonial masters, they aren’t all bad.
You can say what you want about Qaddafi, but the facts are as such: Libya was a backwater ruled by a monarch. Now it is a prosperous African country. (well it was, for Africa, and time will only tell how it will be in the future). Can you honestly say they aren’t better off now than then?
The phony concern people show for Libyans while they could care less about the murderous junta in Burma and the khalifas in Bahrain makes me laugh. I guess when the MSM tells people to suddenly care about the plight of the Burmese (who have it MUCH worse than the Libyans), that’s when everyone will have an opinion. No one cared about Libya and Qaddafi until they were told to do so. And some of us appreciate getting both sides to the story when we are ordered to have an opinion about newsworthy items.

  23. Gordon,

You write that Guiliani has been doing public relations work for Gaddafi. You don’t think that Guiliani is smart enough to screw Gaddafi, the Gaddafi you describe as kissing up to Israel? If Gaddafi has been kissing up, he fears the Mossad. If so, he is not employing Guiliani from a position of strength—he’s spending money trying to stay alive. It is easy enough for Guiliani who wants to be a “player” and thrives in disruption and disunity, to take Gaddafi’s money while being fully aware of Israel’s support for the rebels and also make sure that the rebels don’t totally succeed, because his loyalty is to Israel, and Israel wants to balkanize and weaken Libya. They want to eliminate the possibility of Algeria, Libya, and Egypt coming together to challenge them. They certainly don’t want this new rebel government, even if supported by the Sudairi at the moment, to have much power, to take over the whole country. http://cosmos.ucc.ie/cs1064/jabowen/IPSC/articles/article0005345.html

Society General screwed Gaddafi out of $1 Billion. Goldman Sachs screwed him out of 98% of another billion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7v4TCZS_Jo&NR=1

Guiliani thrives on this kind of safe danger and intrigue.

You write that Gaddafi is a friend of Israel who tried to kiss Israel’s butt more than Mubarak. You write that Gaddafi wants to be a player, and that he apparently puts himself on both sides in some situations, hedges his bets. You wouldn’t say it without having read it and you may have written articles with links about it before, but it would be good to see the links to that information.

Back to Gaddafi: Whatever kissing up to Israel he did, he did it in secret apparently, but is there not something to this:

On March 1st, Netanyahu demanded strong international action against Libya (Haaretz) and on June 3rd, Netanyahu thanked France for its actions against Gaddafi in Libya. Meeting visiting French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe, Netanyahu noted that Gaddafi “was never a friend of Israel or the Jewish people and Israel will not be sorry to see him disappear from the map.”
    http://www.ejpress.org/article/51313

And with all his “kissing up”, did Libya recognize Israel? No. But on June 2, it was widely reported that Libya’s rebel National Transitional Council (NTC) is ready to recognize Israel, and “will maintain normal relations with Israel.” http://www.english.rfi.fr/africa/20110602-libyan-rebels-will-recognise-israel-bernard-henri-levy-tells-netanyahu

Gaddafi rips the Sudairi and the rest of the Saudis and rightfully so for their support of Bush’s destruction of Iraq and their weakness in supporting the Palestinians. Gaddafi supported the rebels in Darfur against the Sudanese government. Nelson Mandela said that without Gaddafi’s help, apartheid absolutely would not have been ended when it was.

Even with Gaddafi sending money all over the place, the high standard of living that the Libyan people had required them to import labor from other parts of the world to do the jobs that the unemployed Libyans refuse to do. Why were all these Indians, Egyptians, Chinese, Filipinos, Turks, Germans, English, Italians, Malaysians, Koreans and members of many other nationalities lined up at the airport and the borders when the rebellion started? There apparently were many Libyan families with young sons who found it shameful for their sons to do menial work and so preferred for them to remain at home supported by the extended family.

For what it is worth: Libya is rated on the UN’s Human Development Index ahead of Saudi Arabia, Russia, and Brazil.

To Guiliani’s connection with Gaddafi: “Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was in New Hampshire last week[June 2], saying he wanted to fire up the Republicans against President Barack Obama and explore a possible presidential run. Giuliani, who ran for president in 2008, came to The Conway Daily Sun office on Thursday. Guiliani said, “(Gaddafi) is the only reason we have to protect the Libyan people — it’s not because of tornadoes.” http://www.conwaydailysun.com/featured/story/giuliani-seeks-fire-base-and-explore-presidential-run

To African mercenaries in Libya you mentioned here http://www.veteranstoday.com/2011/04/21/gordon-duff-gaddafi-bribery-blackmail-and-bluster/: It was widely reported and even was in PressTV, the link you provided. But on March 2nd, Radio Netherlands Worldwide reported that Human Rights Watch said that it has seen no evidence of mercenaries being used in eastern Libya. http://www.rnw.nl/africa/article/hrw-no-mercenaries-eastern-libya-0 Okay, that’s just eastern Libya. But on June 24th a report by Amnesty International about Libya as a whole: “Rebels have repeatedly charged that mercenary troops from Central and West Africa have been used against them. The Amnesty investigation found there was no evidence for this. ‘Those shown to journalists as foreign mercenaries were later quietly released,’ says Ms Rovera. ‘Most were sub-Saharan migrants working in Libya without documents.’” http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/africa/amnesty-questions-claim-that-gaddafi-ordered-rape-as-weapon-of-war-2302037.html

To the $35 billion that Gaddafi supposedly got from the bailout: Arab Banking Corp. which is based in Bahrain was 29% owned by the Bank of Libya at the time of the $35 billion loan from the Federal Reserve Bank. Arab Banking Corp. said that it had paid the loan back (at the very end of the clip): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ll6M5OnooVc&feature=player_embedded

  24. Lovey’s I’m Spent! The reality is we have taken sides in America, Against Gaddaffi, yet these sides alledgedly have Al Queda, (CIA) Support… We have been fighting the CIA all along in Afghanistan, and Iraq , as well as September 11th. 25. Gaddafi gold-for-oil, dollar-doom plans behind Libya ‘mission’?
    http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/Mobux/message/3552

  26. I’m very pleased that I am not a News Corp, shareholder! With all the on going problems it is facing in the UKwith the now closed, News of the World. Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp based in Delaware; is also facing a legal challenge from its shareholders. These shareholders, including investment funds, labor and municipal pension funds are accusing Murdoch of misusing News Corp assets, by treating the company like a family candy jar, which he raids whenever his appetite strikes. It looks like the trouble are just starting!

  27. Gaddafi is warred against and being demonized mainly for the following reasons:

    1) The Libyan Central Bank is NOT controlled by the Zion Talmudic Banking-Monetary System. He financed the huge project of the Green River $ 34 billion without borrowing one cent from the Zios Controlled Banks. He advocated for a GOLD currency (the Gold Dinar) and a Central Bank for Africa.

    2) His system of communal representatives acting as MP’s and direct wealth distribution to ALL Libyans works. Libya has the highest income per capita and highest standard of living in Africa. . No western country, western or Arab leader has done so much and in such a short time to help his people rise from analphabetism (97% when Gaddafi overthrew King Idriss to only 17% now) and reach relative modernity. On top of that: Free Schools-Free Universities-Free health care. Plenty of Water to the populated areas fetched from the heart of the desert aquifers “The Man Made Great Green River”, without indulging in foreign debt.

“The 1st of September marks the anniversary of the opening of the major stage of Libya’s Great Man-Made River Project. This incredibly huge and successful water scheme isvirtually unknown in the West, yet it rivals and even surpasses all our greatest development projects. The leader of the so-called advanced countries, the United States of America cannot bring itself to acknowledge Libya’s Great Man-Made River. The West refuses to recognize that a small country, with a population no more than four million, can construct anything so large without borrowing a single cent from the international banks.

…In the 1960s during oil exploration deep in the southern Libyan desert, vast reservoirs of high quality water were discovered in the form of aquifers. …

…In Libya there are four major underground basins, these being the Kufra basin, the Sirt basin, the Morzuk basin and the Hamada basin, the first three of which contain combined reserves of 35,000 cubic kilometres of water. These vast reserves offer almost unlimited amounts of water for the Libyan people.

The people of Libya under the guidance of their leader, Colonel Muammar Al Qadhafi, initiated a series of scientific studies on the possibility of accessing this vast ocean of fresh water. Early consideration was given to developing new agricultural projects close to the sources of the water, in the desert. However, it was realized that on the scale required to provide products for self sufficiency, a very large infrastructure organization would be required. In addition to this, a major redistribution of the population from the coastal belt would be necessary. The alternative was to ‘bring the water to the people’… (to read more check this link: http://www.prisonplanet.com/virtually-unknown-in-the-west-libyas-water-resources.html)

    3) Libya created the “Libyan Investment Authority” that manages Libya’s State funds with $ 64billion worth, now frozen/stolen by the western Coalition that wants to get rid of Gaddafi and his sons:
“…Between June and September 2010 the Libyan state oil fund deposited over $1bn with HSBC, according to a document leaked to Global Witness and published today. The deposit brought the balance with the British bank to $1.42bn, up from $292.7m three months earlier. The document also reveals the total assets managed by the state oil fund – Libyan Investment Authority (LIA) – swelled from $54bn to $64bn in the space of three months…”
(to read more, check this link: http://www.globalwitness.com/zh-hans/node/7760)

    4) The coalition to overthrow Gaddafi is between the Saudis-Israel. The later is the one that dictates to Obama-Sarko-Cameron-NATO what to do and what next.

    5) The PTB is neutralizing (or at least trying to) the axis Caracas-Tripoli-Damas-Tehran, by trying to decapitate its respective heads of state. The “Consejos Comunales” in Venezuela were directly inspired by the “Majlis” in Libya.

    6) The Zion Talmudic Real Estate Developers see in Libya’s pristine beaches and longest Mediterranean Coastline a GOLD MINE, specially now with Gaddafi’s Great Green Rivers completed: He has turned Libya into the “Land of Plenty of water and plenty of oil”, no foreign debt and a steadily increasing superavit each year…

Well, this is the man, we are told to be mentally deranged and an assassin…
