“The United States Air Force has been training young missile officers about the morals and ethics of launching nuclear weapons by citing passages from the New Testament and commentary from a former member of the Nazi Party, according to newly released documents. The mandatory Nuclear Ethics and Nuclear Warfare session, which includes a discussion on St. Augustine’s “Christian Just War Theory ” is led by Air Force chaplains and takes place during a missile officer’s first week in training at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.
“The Air Force has been citing Christian teachings in its missile officer training materials for at least a decade…Former Air Force Capt. Damon Bosetti, 27, who attended missile officer training in 2006 and was stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, Montana, said he and his colleagues used to call the religious section of the ethics training the ‘Jesus loves nukes speech.’”[1]
In the latter days of Nero’s reign [54-68 A.S.] through the domination of Domitian [81-96] Christians were persecuted for following the nonviolent, loving and forgiving Jesus.
That Jesus was first left behind when Augustine penned the heretical “Just War Theory” for that was when Church and State got in bed together and “our problems stem from our acceptance of this filthy, rotten system.”-Dorothy Day
Augustine was the first Church Father to consider the concept of a ‘Just War’ and within 100 years after Constantine, the Empire required that all soldiers in the army must be baptized Christians and thus, the decline of Christianity began.
With the justification of war and violence supplied by Augustine’s Just War Theory, wrong became right.
Nothing has changed in two millennia, for in today’s Orwellian world politicians claim the way to peace is through war and that nuclear weapons provide protection.
American money claims ‘In God we Trust’ but the truth is America’s faith is in an out of control Military Industrial SECURITY/Surveillance Complex which seeks domination, power and control over any who would defy and challenge the American status quo.
In 313 AD, Emperor Constantine legitimized Christianity and thus, those who had been considered rebels and outlaws began to enjoy political power and prestige and were now protected by an earthly king.
Both a patriarchal monarchical state and church were formed at the same time. Power struggles and debates were common among the early Christians. Individual churches determined which texts were read, and they all had their favorites. Constantine sought to unite his empire, and uniting the church was a savvy political move. He announced he would pay for fifty illuminated copies of scripture to be bound, and thus the biblical canon was established and sealed. There was fierce debate among the bishops about what should be included and what left out.
The proto-orthodox, who had now become the dominant voice, determined what was heretical for everyone. The proto-orthodox demanded much-loved scripture to be burned, usually because it did not fit their understanding of God. Jesus’ other name is The Prince of Peace, and with the marriage of church and state, his true teachings were reinterpreted. The justification of warfare and the use of state sponsored violence corrupted what Christ modeled and taught.

Jesus Christ was never a Christian, but he was a social justice, radical revolutionary Palestinian devout Jewish road warrior who rose up [intifada in Arabic] and challenged the job security of the Temple authorities by teaching the people they did NOT need to pay the priests for ritual baths or sacrificing livestock to be OK with God; for God already LOVED them just as they were: ‘sinners’, poor, diseased, outcasts, widows, orphans, refugees and prisoners all living under a brutal Military Occupation.
What got Jesus crucified was disturbing the status quo of the Roman Occupying Forces, by teaching the subversive concept that Caesar only had power because God allowed it and that God preferred the humble ‘sinner’, the poor, diseased, outcasts, widows, orphans, refugees and prisoners all living under a Roman Military Occupation above the elite and arrogant!
Two thousand years ago the Cross had NO symbolic religious meaning and was not a piece of jewelry.
When Jesus said: “Pick up your cross and follow me,” everyone back then understood he was issuing a POLITICAL statement, for the main roads in Jerusalem were lined with crucified agitators, rebels, dissidents and any others who disturbed the status quo of the Roman Occupying Forces.

It all becomes sensible, and inevitable, when we remember that Jesus Christ was a Jew, and that Christianity is merely another Judean religious sect.
None of which makes it “right,” moral, correct, or excuses it…. It is still as damning as was Christ to the money lenders when he cast them out of the temple…. a hanging offense he soon discovered.
Who would Christ bomb? Probably the Vatican would be his first target. And then some Christian Evangelist radio station in Texas, Tennessee or Georgia, followed by a few more, I suppose.
But then, Christ would be intercepted by those TSA fellows at the airport as soon as he landed, and hustled off to prison, interrogation,rendition and Guantanamo as soon as he landed so this is all nothing more than a lot of wild-ass conjecture.

As far as this story goes, I also have to consider those such as Boynton aka Bishop Boynton who is an avowed xtian war monger, and others who have infiltrated the Air Force Academy as well as the Pentagram, who are now possibly indoctrinating these young gullible minds into doing the unspeakable: starting a nuclear holocaust for the so called righteousness of their xtianity. This really terrifies me to think about it. Now comes the critical observance of the three major religions: Christianity, Judaism and Islam: all three are no better than the other. The three of them have provided no more justification for their further continued existence, than one would expect of a an abscessed tooth. I am not a Christian but anyone remotely versed in the Bible will know that it was the Pharisees along with the chief priests who sought Jesus’ arrest and crucifixion.

In modern version of Why We Fight (not the WW2 documentary), two Air Force pilots who did initial stealth bombings in Baghdad in 1991 were completely oblivious to all the stuctures they destroyed and people they killed. Instead they talked as though they were unique individuals in the annals of history. I wonder who bombed the shelter where 400 Iraqi women and children were killed. For these pilots oblivious to the suffering they cause what would happen if their soul popped up and they agonized over all the innocents they killed, but won’t happen. I doubt that majority of people who join Armed Forces are aware of what many of their jobs entail. For some, retirement and making a living win out over morals. But lots of service members were stunned when machine was set in motion in 2002. I would bet that majority of National Guard were disgusted by what they witnessed in Iraq. Infantry unit from Florida NG went to Iraq in 2003. They thought they were in NG to uphold the Constitution and defend US from tyranny and invasion.

There are a few references to the Christ in first century. A lot is not written down because the oral tradiition was the way of doing things but there is witness. I still think those men and women in years 0 AD through 4th century knew more about what really went on than we can when we think we can look back and make better sense of it.

Calling any institution and government on their hypocrisy is what Conscience calls for and God gave us one that we should use it!
Let’s face it, the ‘Just War’ concept was the first and worst heresy in all of Christianity.
Clement, Tertillian, Polycarp and every other early Church Father taught that violence was a contradiction of what Christ was all about.
There have always been those Christians who spoke out against this corruption of scripture and they have been ignored, reviled, rejected, mocked, persecuted and maligned throughout time.
There have always been Christians who have never abandoned the true teachings, such as the Quakers, Mennonites, some Catholics and Protestants who have been faithful to Christ by denouncing violence and caring for the poor.
There also have been Jews, Muslims, atheists, anarchists, secularists, rebels and revolutionaries who have lived lives that embody the message of Christ; meaning they have in fact done what Jesus actually said, and that is most revolutionary.
About 2,000 years ago, when Christ was about 33, he hiked up a hill and sat down under an olive tree and began to teach the people;
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.”
In other words: it is those who know their own spiritual poverty, their own limitations and ‘sins’ honestly and trust God loves them in spite of themselves who already live in the Kingdom of God.
How comforted we will all be, when we see, we haven’t got a clue, as to the depth and breadth of pure love and mercy of The Divine Mystery of The Universe.
God’s name in ancient Aramaic is Abba which means Daddy as much as Mommy and He/She: The Lord has said, “My ways are not your ways. My thoughts are not yours.” -Isaiah 55:8
Christ proclaimed more: “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.”
The essence of meek is to be patient with ignorance, slow to anger and never hold a grudge. In other words: how comforted you will be when you also know humility; when you know yourself, the good and the bad, for both cut through every human heart.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, they will be filled.”
In other words: how comforted you will be when your greatest desire is to do what “God requires, and he has already told you what that is; BE JUST, BE MERCIFUL and walk humbly with your Lord.”-Micah 6:8
“Blessed are the merciful, they will be shown mercy.”
In other words: how comforted you will all be when you choose to return only kindness to your ‘enemy.’
“For with the measure you measure against another, it will be measured back to you” Christ warns his disciples as he explains the law of karma in Luke 6:27-38.
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they see God.”
In other words: how comforted you will be when you WAKE UP and see God is already within you, within every man, every woman and every child. The Supreme Being is everywhere, the Alpha and Omega, beginning and end. Beyond The Universe -and yet so small; within the heart of every atom.
“Blessed are The Peacemakers: THEY shall be called the children of God.”
And what a wonderful world it would be when we all seek peace by pursuing justice; for there can be none without the other.

And one fine day the lion will lie down with The Lamb and man will make war no more; and create the Kingdom of God on planet earth.
PS: The only ‘sin’ is selfishness.
