New Moves to Curb Criticism of Israel In US and Canada

Great ! This shows the immense power that “the Organization”, the major pro-Israel organizations such as the Zionist Organization of America and the Anti-Defamation League has to beat down, censor and muzzle popular demand against amazing majority numbers in the face of all reason and “democratic” principle.
And, it also illustrates the cupidity, weakness, and failures of moral principles of elected representatives in the US and Canada to stand up for principle and the will of their constituency when confronted with, promises, offers, influence, coercion, intimidation and probably blackmail, as well as greed and ambition.
Eventually this will all have to be be brought and argued before the US Supreme Court. But, it is so patently a restriction of freedom of speech and association, that no one will permit it to go that far until they are absolutely assured that they have the Court stacked solidly enough, and public opinion sufficiently frightened or conditioned to accept a finding, one way or the other.
And, that will be a difficult thing to do because, as ignorant and uncontemplative as most of John Q Publius may be, even the suggestion of loss of their freedom of speech frightens them. There is still a strong racist undercurrent of distrust of Jews which has not been eliminated in America by decades of civil rights legislation but merely hidden under a very thin veneer of civility, tolerance and fear of being called a racist, as the Zionists have known for a long time and used it as a weapon… but when confronted and threatened many of those same John Q Publius will unbutton their collars and show just how red their necks actually are.
It is a sad thing to contemplate, indeed, that it is this red-neck of America which may be the ultimate instrument of its salvation from Zionism in the end. That is how badly the culture has suffered at the hands of these people.
Now I am beginning to sound like John Kaminski so I had better go and rest my tired brain and leave you to ponder below some hard truths and facts as reported by Kristin Szremski. Perhaps American college student troops can help bring Israel to its senses.
If the voice of the students are not to be heard and are under attack on college campuses in North America, they should shout louder and every one of them go on strike, and picket the entire University until it comes to a standstill.
Large amounts of grant money which supports the University, most of which comes from AIPAC, ADL and American-Jewish controlled foundations in America, is important, but students and American student satisfaction are ESSENTIAL to the Institutions’ survival!

New legislation in the US threatens to conflate campus criticism of Israel with anti-Semitism.
A number of new initiatives to curtail freedom of speech by conflating opposition to Israeli crimes with anti-Semitism are underway in the United States and Canada.
The Canadian Parliamentary Coalition to Combat Anti-Semitism (CPCCA) issued a report in early July recommending the adoption of strict new standards defining anti-Semitism and the types of speech and campus activities that would violate them. Its report urged the Canadian government to adopt the European Union Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia’s definition of anti-Semitism (“Report on the Inquiry Panel,” 7 July 2011 [PDF]). That definition suggests that any questioning of whether Israel has the right to exist as a state that privileges Jews over people of other religions or ethnic backgrounds amounts to anti-Semitism.
Though the Canadian group is not linked to the Ottawa government, it has 22 parliamentarians as members. Activities it deems as anti-Semitic and, therefore, calls to be banned, include events such as the Israeli Apartheid Week that was founded in Toronto and now takes place on college campuses internationally every March.
The Canadian report is just the latest attempt at stifling public discourse about Israel. Free speech and the unimpeded exchange of ideas are also under attack on America’s college campuses. Pro-Israel supporters have targeted federal funding for academic institutions, including support for research and academic conferences, under the pretext that criticism of Israel is “hate speech.”
Federal authorities from the Office of Civil Rights with the US Department of Education are investigating charges of anti-Semitism against the University of California Santa Cruz, as well as at other institutions within the California university system, according to published reports. These are the first investigations taking place since Title VI of the Civil Rights Act was re-interpreted in October 2010, allowing Jewish students, as members of a religious group, to claim discrimination under a provision that previously applied only to racial and ethnic bigotry.
A “dear colleague” letter issued by the Office of Civil Rights in October 2010 said that discrimination against a student who is a member of a religious group violates Title VI when the discrimination is based on the group’s “actual or perceived shared ancestry or ethnic characteristics … or when it is based upon the student’s actual or perceived citizenship or residency in a country whose residents share a dominant religion or a distinct religious identity,” David Thomas, a US Department of Education spokesman, explained by email.
Bowing to the Zionist lobby
Major pro-Israel organizations such as the Zionist Organization of America and the Anti-Defamation League have lobbied for this re-interpretation for years. Title VI now can be applied to Jewish students who claim universities create hostile campus environments if they allow pro-Palestinian events or even class lectures critical of Israeli policies.
In other words, since Israel bills itself as a Jewish state, of which all Jews everywhere are automatic citizens, Jewish students can file complaints of anti-Semitism and discrimination based upon their perceived ethnicity and citizenship or residency in a country that has a “dominant religion.”
Dr. Hatem Bazian, a Palestinian-American professor of Near Eastern and Ethnic Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, who founded the Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) there in 2001, takes issue with the amended understanding of Title VI. While he agrees that Jewish students, as well as Muslim students, should be protected from discrimination based on their religious identity under Title VI, he believes the reinterpretation is actually being used to silence debate about Israel.
“Attempts to silence opposition to the illegal Israeli occupation and policies is un-American and amounts to political and academic censorship,” Bazian said via email. (Bazian is also the chairman of American Muslims for Palestine, the organization with which this writer is employed).
The Title VI reinterpretation and the subsequent case against Santa Cruz is part of a growing trend of stifling of protected political speech on college campuses. Several lecturers and professors have been censured and even denied tenure because they openly criticized Israeli policies or advocated for Palestinian rights.
Perhaps the most widely publicized cases are those of former DePaul University professor Norman Finkelstein and North Carolina State University professor Terri Ginsberg, both of whom were not given tenure because of their open criticism of Israeli policies in 2007 and 2008, respectively. Ginsberg initiated legal action against North Carolina State and her case is currently on appeal.
Freedom of information denied
The new interpretation has rejuvenated a 29-page complaint brought against the University of California Santa Cruz in June 2009 by lecturer Tammi Rossman-Benjamin, the contents of which have been kept secret by the Department of Education and university officials.
On 13 April, American Muslims for Palestine filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for the complaint with the San Francisco Office of Civil Rights. Federal authorities declined the request on 22 April, saying that supplying the complaint would “constitute an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy” and that it could “reasonably be expected to interfere with enforcement proceedings,” both of which are listed as exemptions under the federal FOIA statute.
What is so troubling in the University of California Santa Cruz investigation is that the amended interpretation is being applied retroactively to Rossman-Benjamin’s complaint, which she filed more than one year before the October 2010 “dear colleague” letter. No one contacted from the university or the Department of Education would discuss how an institution can be held liable for something that was not considered to be a violation at the time it occurred.
“[The Office of Civil Rights] received the UC-Santa Cruz complaint … on 25 June 2009,” Thomas wrote in an email to American Muslims for Palestine. “On 7 March 2011, OCR formally notified the university and the complainant that OCR was opening for investigation the allegations that a hostile environment existed for Jewish students at the university in 2009 in violation of Title VI and that the university had notice of the hostile environment but did not have a process to adequately respond to hostile environment complaints.”
Thomas failed to respond to American Muslims for Palestine’s direct question about how the new interpretation could be applied retroactively, though it was posed three times in three separate emails on 13 and 15 April.
Jim Burns, a University of California Santa Cruz spokesman, also would not address that issue and instead referred it back to the Department of Education’s civil rights office. He did tell American Muslims for Palestine in an email, however, that the Office of Civil Rights is reviewing a complaint that “speech on campus that is critical of Israel creates a hostile environment for Jewish students.”
“We believe that [the Office of Civil Rights’] investigation will ultimately conclude that [the University of California Santa Cruz] diligently enforces laws, policies and practices that protect our students’ civil rights. But we also believe that our review of the matter with OCR will provide us with an opportunity to examine our relevant policies and practices to ensure that is the case,” he added.
If federal investigators find a university to be in violation of Title VI and the institution does not remedy the situation satisfactorily it could lose federal funding. This is a worst-case scenario to be sure, but it is one that seemingly threatens the open exchange of ideas on college campuses.
“While some of the recent allegations … might well raise a claim under Title VI, many others simply seek to silence anti-Israel discourse and speakers. This approach is not only unwarranted under Title VI, it is dangerous,” Cary Nelson, president of the American Association of University Presidents (AAUP), and Kenneth Stern of the American Jewish Committee, wrote recently in an open letter on AAUP’s website.
“The purpose of a university is to have students wrestle with ideas with which they may disagree, or even better, may make them uncomfortable. To censor ideas is to diminish education, and to treat students as fragile recipients of ‘knowledge,’ rather than young critical thinkers,” they added.
American Muslims for Palestine’s Hatem Bazian said the implications of the re-interpretation go far beyond free speech in the classroom and at extra-curricular events. Funding for scholarly research and academic conferences that bring up “legitimate criticism of Israel” may be at stake, he said.
“The new interpretation will directly, first and foremost, impact those who administer Title VI funding, and they for sure will be more hesitant and will engage in self-censorship in funding research or activities that are critical of Israel,” Bazian said.
Indeed, the Anti-Defamation League was one of 12 national organizations that urged the Department of Education to amend its Title VI interpretation. It may have just been a co-signer in that battle but the ADL has taken the lead in many high-profile cases to stifle free speech and public debate in its hundred-year history.
In March, the ADL, along with the American Jewish Committee and the Bay Area Jewish Community Relations Council, protested an academic conference at the UC Hastings College of the Law in March entitled “Litigating Palestine: Can Courts Secure Palestinian Rights?” Their protest was so effective the university board voted to remove its name and endorsement for the event and it prevented university Chancellor Frank Wu from making opening remarks.

Challenging Israel on campus
Writing about the incident in the San Francisco Chronicle, Cecilie Surasky, deputy director of Jewish Voice for Peace, stated that “Perhaps for the first time in US history, there is an aggressive challenge to a one-sided narrative that covers up or justifies ongoing Israeli repression of Palestinians” (“Pressure on law conference threatens free speech,” 21 April 2011).
Surasky added, “The center of that challenge is on campuses, which is why those who have traditionally adopted knee-jerk defenses of Israeli policies are attempting to stigmatize or shut down alternative viewpoints.”
The same threats of losing federal funding because of an “anti-Semitic and hostile environment” are being leveled at Rutgers University in New Jersey, thanks in large part to a 15-page letter written to the university by Zionist Organization of America President Morton Klein, and copied to the state’s governor, its US senators and representatives and other officials.
These recent moves, according to Surasky, “suggest that legitimate criticism of Israeli policy is being conflated with anti-Semitism. If this is allowed to happen, then serious debate on Israel’s illegal actions in the Palestinian territories will be shut down.”
Rossman-Benjamin’s complaint against University of California Santa Cruz could very well be a test case under the new interpretation of Title VI. The reinterpretation, when viewed against the backdrop of professors being censured or denied tenure because of their political views, could have an adverse affect on the free exchange of ideas on college campuses at a time when debate and concrete examinations of US foreign policy in the Middle East is needed more than ever.

I placed an educational post here about the Holocaust and how revisionists should be allowed on college campuses. It has been removed. Nothing anti-Jewish in the post. Was it a technical problem? Censorship?

It’s ironic the post was removed. I have posted Holocaust comments, supported by evidence, similar to the one removed here at this Debbie Menon article several times at Veterans Today and they were not removed.
If it didn’t happen due to a technical error then I’m offended because whomever removed the comment is insinuating I posted an anti-Jewish post and therefore I am anti-Jewish and that simply is not the case.

Those body scanners might have a more sinister purpose. I have read elsewhere that there have been no official safety tests performed on the equipment by either independent scientists or the government itself. They are manufactured by a private organization who claims they are safe and all we have is their word.
I have also read reports that TSA agents may be getting cancer caused by the machines. This is not surprising, back in the 50s they used radiation boxes in shoe stores to see skeletal structure of feet. The salesmen got cancer in a higher-than-normal amount. A person doing research on those who chose to bypass the machine found that most of the bypassers were doctors who said they would like to avoid any radiation whenever possible.
The machines are made by a client of Michael Chertoff’s ‘security’ company. He invested in them prior to their roll-out. This is a potential crime and a huge conflict of interest. Chertoff was in charge of the neocons in his roll at the DoJ on 9/11. He was running the show for a little while as the events were being carried out. He later became head of DHS and his cousin wrote a debunking article on 9/11 conspiracy theories for Popular Mechanics. Before he worked in our government, Giuliani hired him as a proescutor for cases involving the Mafia, political corruption, and other organized crime (claiming to serve justice against it.. but many of the prosecuted were involved in international banking-related ‘scams’). He also had a role in investigating the Clinton’s involvement with Whitewater.

Any supporter of Israel is a traitor to American. Unfortunately jews already own the legal profession and about 90% of judges are jews. The same for the Public and now the Private Educational systems. It’s now mandated in most states that the holyhoax be taught starting at the grade school level until college graduation. It’s over folks. The fat lady has sung.

The idea seems to be to get as many people as possible (outside the ruling Zionist elite) to absolutely hate and detest everything about Israel and Zionism, in order to create a self-fulfilling condition that any reaction or retaliation against this self-generated hatred automatically appears to be legitimate.

Just my opinion but I say you are both correct. What you have described is our collective and well-meaning intent. But this is not how they want people to see it as your article describes.
The idea is to demonize those who mean well and smear them as hateful. We know that’s not true, but the Israeli citizens do not. Norway has a similar well-meaning intent which in Israel is considered ‘antisemitic’ which has led to many “they deserved it” comments unfortunately in response to the terrorist attacks.

We should all dissect the problems in the world and not on the basis of race or nation or religion. Cultures and religions might make us incompatible with each other and that is a problem that must be addressed. You cannot demonize an entire group of people because of the actions of the few.
Well it is true that many of the criminal international bankers are Jewish, that doesn’t mean that all Jews should be blamed. Even if the Talmud says terrible things about non-Jews, one could easily point to evil passages in any scripture. This way of thinking is religiously blasphemous anyways and rational people should know better.
It is true that Zionism has become fascism and the leaders of Israel are corrupt criminals. But the Israelis who support this and dispense hateful words are being mislead. If they haven’t committed any crime, they shouldn’t be punished. They should be educated. Examining the past is interesting but it is less important than cleaning up the mess it has left in the present. People do not learn from past mistakes anyways. Nearly 50 years ago I was present in an interview with a german whose father was present at the Wannsee conference, where supposedly the “final solution” for jews was planned and agreed upon.
According to him there was absolutly no plan of killing jews, but relocating them around the Ural mountains in the Soviet union, where the original home of the Khasars was.
They were to be used as slave labor during the war, and as soon as Russia was conquered, they would be transported. The concentration camps in Dachau, Theresienstadt, Auschwitz, Balsen-Balsen were not planned as extermination camps, but a place to lock them up an make them work.
The war did not go as planned, during the last two years there was not enough food even to feed the german army and the population, therefore the rations were cut drastically for the jews and the soviet POVs, consequently 3 million russians and millions of jews starved to death and/or died of typhus and other illnesses. The few pizza parlor size ovens were there to burn the lice and floh infested clothings of the inmates, that caused the illnesses.
If you visit Dachau you will question how could thousands of jews be burned in those undersized ovens, in Auschwitz the ovens were build by the soviets AFTER THE WAR!!!

I have gone down that same train of thought before and now I have realized that it just isn’t relevant.
We live in a world that no matter what, if you mention these things the society is conditioned to label you a holocaust denier which is not a fun label to have for obvious reasons even if you had good-intentions. Exposing that much of this event was a fabrication will lead to problems. It will lead to people being angry at all Jews and many Jews will find it too difficult to believe that its a lie (like asking somebody not to believe in god) which will make them feel as if they are being persecuted yet again and retaliate in violence.
I think the most ‘neutral’ route is Finkelstein’s exposure of the holocaust industry used as a a powerful tool. He doesn’t deny the existence of an extermination program, in fact he will say his family was exterminated. But as you mentioned this was during a war where millions of others have died. The event as expulsion or extermination still isn’t ‘good’ as neither is desirable. But we cannot allow it to be used as a tool as it often is. It monopolizes all other forms of suffering throughout the ages, it takes away from everything else that happened in WWII, and it generates billions of dollars and sympathy. I am sure you will agree that these visits should be as nearly as possible in accord with international standards, thereby resolving all doubts as to the peaceful intent of the Dimona project. Anderson Cooper of CNN showed this video (without the rifle info) of snipers killing U.S. troops in Iraq on his October 18, 2006 show. CNN says it obtained the video from a “representative” of an unnamed “insurgent leader.”
Bear in mind that Anderson Cooper used to work for the CIA.
Richard Wilson’s hypothesis: Israeli soldiers and/or Mossad agents are killing our soldiers in Iraq in order to enrage American troops so that the slaughter continues.
Proof: At the very beginning of this video clip, you see a rifle with a video camera attached to it. This weapon is made by the Rafael company, an Israeli arms manufacturer, that also makes IEDs. If you watch the video all the way through, it explains how this rifle works.
CNN stated that the camera used to film these shootings was not a mounted rifle camera. But as you watch the video, you see that with each shot fired, the camera recoils. That would only happen if it were mounted on the rifle.
Why is this significant? Because this kind of rifle-camera is extremely sophisticated and not available to your average Iraqi insurgent. I mean, it’s not exactly an easily obtainable Saturday night special!
Something this sophisticated points to Mossad. Israel Charged With Systematic Harassment of U.S. Marines

It was 12 years ago, on March 14, 1983, that the commandant of the Marine Corps sent a highly unusual letter to the secretary of defense expressing frustration and anger at Israel. General R.H. Barrow charged that Israeli troops were deliberately threatening the lives of Marines serving as peacekeepers in Lebanon. There was, he wrote, a systematic pattern of harassment by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) that was resulting in “life-threatening situations, replete with verbal degradation of the officers, their uniform and country.”
Barrow’s letter added: “It is inconceivable to me why Americans serving in peacekeeping roles must be harassed, endangered by an ally…It is evident to me, and the opinion of the U.S. commanders afloat and ashore, that the incidents between the Marines and the IDF are timed, orchestrated, and executed for obtuse Israeli political purposes.”1
Israel’s motives were less obtuse than the diplomatic general pretended. It was widely believed then, and now, that Israeli Defense Minister Ariel Sharon, one of Israel’s most Machiavellian politician-generals, was creating the incidents deliberately in an effort to convince Washington that the two forces had to coordinate their actions in order to avoid such tensions. This, of course, would have been taken by the Arabs as proof that the Marines were not really in Lebanon as neutral peacekeepers but as allies of the Israelis, a perception that would have obvious advantages for Israel.2
Barrow’s extraordinary letter was indicative of the frustrations and miseries the Marines suffered during their posting to Lebanon starting on Aug. 25, 1982, as a result of Israel’s invasion 11 weeks earlier. Initially a U.S. unit of 800 men was sent to Beirut harbor as part of a multinational force to monitor the evacuation of PLO guerrillas from Beirut. The Marines, President Reagan announced, “in no case… would stay longer than 30 days.”3 This turned out to be only partly true. They did withdraw on Sept. 10, but a reinforced unit of 1,200 was rushed back 15 days later after the massacres at the Palestinian refugee camps at Sabra and Shatila that accompanied the Israeli seizure of West Beirut. The U.S. forces remained until Feb. 26, 1984.4
During their-year-and-a-half posting in Lebanon, the Marines suffered 268 killed.5 The casualties started within a week of the return of the Marines in September 1982. On the 30th, a U.S.-made cluster bomb left behind by the Israelis exploded, killing Corporal David Reagan and wounding three other Marines.6
Corporal Reagan’s death represented the dangers of the new mission of the Marines in Lebanon. While their first brief stay had been to separate Israeli forces from Palestinian fighters evacuating West Beirut, their new mission was as part of a multinational force sent to prevent Israeli troops from attacking the Palestinian civilians left defenseless there after the withdrawal of PLO forces. As President Reagan said: “For this multinational force to succeed, it is essential that Israel withdraw from Beirut.”7

On that day, Sharon’s forces launched at dawn a massive artillery barrage that lasted for 11 straight hours and was accompanied by saturation air bombardment.8 As many as 500 persons, mainly Lebanese and Palestinian civilians, were killed.9
On top of the bombardment came the massacres the next month at Sabra and Shatila, where Sharon’s troops allowed Lebanese Maronite killers to enter the camps filled with defenseless civilians. The massacres sickened the international community and pressure from Western capitals finally forced Israel to withdraw from Beirut in late September. Troops from Britain, France, Italy and the United States were interposed between the Israeli army and Beirut, with U.S. Marines deployed in the most sensitive area south of Beirut at the International Airport, directly between Israeli troops and West Beirut.
It was at the airport that the Marines would suffer their Calvary over the next year. Starting in January 1983, small Israeli units began probing the Marine lines. At first the effort appeared aimed at discovering the extent of Marine determination to resist penetration. The lines proved solid and the Marines’ determination strong. Israeli troops were politely but firmly turned away. Soon the incidents escalated, with both sides pointing loaded weapons at each other but no firing taking place. Tensions were high enough by late January that a special meeting between U.S. and Israeli officers was held in Beirut to try to agree on precise boundaries beyond which the IDF would not penetrate.10
No Stranger to the Marines
However, on Feb. 2 a unit of three Israeli tanks, led by Israeli Lt. Col. Rafi Landsberg, tried to pass through Marine/Lebanese Army lines at Rayan University Library in south Lebanon. By this time, Landsberg was no stranger to the Marines. Since the beginning of January he had been leading small Israeli units in probes against the Marine lines, although such units would normally have a commander no higher than a sergeant or lieutenant. The suspicion grew that Sharon’s troops were deliberately provoking the Marines and Landsberg was there to see that things did not get out of hand. The Israeli tactics were aimed more at forcing a joint U.S.-Israeli strategy than merely probing lines.
In the Feb. 2 incident, the checkpoint was commanded by Marine Capt. Charles Johnson, who firmly refused permission for Landsberg to advance. When two of the Israeli tanks ignored his warning to halt, Johnson leaped on Landsberg’s tank with pistol drawn and demanded Landsberg and his tanks withdraw. They did.11
Landsberg and the Israeli embassy in Washington tried to laugh off the incident, implying that Johnson was a trigger-happy John Wayne type and that the media were exaggerating a routine event. Landsberg even went so far as to claim that he smelled alcohol on Johnson’s breath and that drunkenness must have clouded his reason. Marines were infuriated because Johnson was well known as a teetotaler. Americans flocked to Johnson’s side. He received hundreds of letters from school children, former Marines and from Commandant Barrow.12 It was a losing battle for the Israelis and Landsberg soon dropped from sight.
But the incidents did not stop. These now included “helicopter harassment,” by which U.S.-made helicopters with glaring spotlights were flown by the Israelis over Marine positions at night, illuminating Marine outposts and exposing them to potential attack. As reports of these incidents piled up, Gen. Barrow received a letter on March 12 from a U.S. Army major stationed in Lebanon with the United Nations Truce Supervisory Organization (UNTSO). The letter described a systematic pattern of Israeli attacks and provocations against UNTSO troops, including instances in which U.S. officers were singled out for “near-miss” shootings, abuse and detention.13 That same day two Marine patrols were challenged and cursed by Israeli soldiers.14
It was 12 years ago, on March 14, 1983, that the commandant of the Marine Corps sent a highly unusual letter to the secretary of defense expressing frustration and anger at Israel. General R.H. Barrow charged that Israeli troops were deliberately threatening the lives of Marines serving as peacekeepers in Lebanon. There was, he wrote, a systematic pattern of harassment by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) that was resulting in “life-threatening situations, replete with verbal degradation of the officers, their uniform and country.”

Since the ADL has declared war on the patriots of this country,
including patriotic Jewish people–all people in fact who are patriots,
who understand that the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are the only
things that protect us from despotism, from the same kinds of things
that happened to the Jews, to the gypsies, to the Poles, to the blacks,
to the Catholics in Germany during World War II.
And believe me, folks, the ADL is not Jews and it is not a
representation of the Jewish people. They serve their British masters
only. They manipulate the Jews through lies and deception; through that
old bugaboo: anti-semitism; by painting swastikas on walls; and by
taking out parade permits for the Nazi Party.
Do you hear what I’m saying?
I’m angry. Patriotic Americans in this country of all races, religions,
and creeds have been labeled as right-wing, fanatic terrorists,
threatening to overthrow the United States government. And it is a
lie. The label has come from the ADL. We have been called racists and
anti-semitic, and it is a lie.
Before I go any further, I want to thank all of the Jewish patriots in
this country who have called me and FAXed me with their support in this
effort, and their denouncement of the ADL. And since the ADL is so
powerful, I can’t tell you who these people are because I don’t want
them to get a visit in the middle of the night. For the ADL is also a
pack of goons and terrorists who have been known to perpetrate violence
on several occasions.
Tonight, you’re going to hear the truth for the first time in your life
about the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith. And you’re going to
hear it Monday, and Tuesday, and Wednesday, and Thursday, and Friday of
next week. And if necessary on and on, until you understand just
exactly who these people are.
What is the ADL?
“The Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith proclaims itself to be a
non-profit corporation, designed to eliminate defamation of Jews and
other religious and ethnic groups, to advance proper understanding among
all peoples, and to preserve and translate into greater effectiveness
the principles of freedom, equality, and democracy.”
This statement is taken directly from the bylaws of the ADL of B’nai
B’rith, as amended by the National Commission, June 1982. And nothing,
dear listeners, could be further from the truth.
In repeated, flagrant violation of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal
Revenue Service Codes, the ADL operates as a tax-exempt public interest
corporation, while in reality, ladies and gentlemen, it engages in a
wide range of activities that are inherently criminal in nature,
including interference in the judicial and law enforcement process;
support for domestic and international terrorist organizations;
instigation of hate crimes; espionage; support for suspected
international narcotics traffickers; unregistered political activities;
and covert activities on behalf of both hostile foreign governments and
United States government, agencies generally linked to the International
Social Democracy.
It is a matter of historical record that before, during, and immediately
after World War II, the Anti-Defamation League functioned as a covert
action arm of the British Special Operations Executive under its North
American Chief, Sir William Stephenson , in close liaison with the
Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Division V–the Division that I have
named as being implicated in the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
Through its 151-member National Commission and its paid staff
maintaining regional offices in 31 cities in the United States, and a
number of locations in Europe, the Middle East, Ibarow America,
and the Soviet Union–in fact, a Moscow office is in the process of
being opened at the invitation of President Mikhail Gorbachev at the
time this report was written–the ADL operates as a covert strike force,
whose corrupting influence extends into the pores of the financial
community, the legal establishment, the media, and the United States
government, at the federal, state, and local level.
And everything that I am stating tonight, and will state in the
following nights, have been proven, can be proven, and is a matter of
fact. And most of it is in the public record.
Above all else, ladies and gentlemen, the ADL is a public relations
front for that branch of American organized crime founded by Meyer
Lansky during the early decades of this century, under the patronage and
sponsorship of leading Anglo-American financial interests.
Anti-Defamation League officials, for this reason, were reportedly
deeply dismayed when a man by the name of Lyndon LaRouche dubbed the ADL
“the American drug lobby”.
More recently, the ADL has moved to deepen its ties to the Soviet
foreign intelligence services operating in the west, and in the newly
liberated nations of central Europe.
The ADL, folks, according to its bylaws, is run by a National Commission
which currently consists of 151 members. It is chaired by a National
Chairman, currently Abe Foxman. The National Commission formally meets
once each year.
According to Article 7 of the bylaws in the interval between the
National Commission annual meetings, the ADL’s National Executive
Committee acts for it.
The NEC is composed of:
a Chairman;
a Senior Rabbi at Temple Immanuel in New York City;
and Vice Chairman;
the elected officers of the National Committee:
the President;
Executive Vice President; and
Honorary Past Presidents of B’nai B’rith;
together with:
their counterparts of B’nai B’rith Women;
the appointed Chairmen of all of the ADL Standing Committees; and
the President of the ADL Foundation;
together with:
fifteen additional members of the National Committee who are elected by
it.
The ADL is formally affiliated with B’nai B’rith, which is the Jewish
arm of the Southern Jurisdiction of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.
However, this link is principally maintained through the B’nai B’rith’s
representation on ADL’s National Commission.
Unlike its parent organization the B’nai B’rith, the ADL is not a
membership organization. In other words, you cannot join the ADL, as
many Jewish people erroneously believe. You cannot join the ADL.
Membership is by nomination or invitation only. In this sense, the ADL
bears a greater likeness to the secret lodges of Freemasonry than its
B’nai B’rith parent organization, which was originally conceived in the
mid-nineteenth century as a Jewish branch of British Freemasonry.
Remember, British Intelligence and the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry was
behind the Civil War. You see, it was all right for the states to
secede from the Union. But it was not OK to fire upon a United States
fort.
The current President of B’nai B’rith is Seymour D. Reich , a
long-standing activist and officer of the ADL prior to his election to
head B’nai B’rith.
And that’s not correct, folks. I’m reading from a report. It is now
Abe Foxman.
Of the current 151 active National Commission members, a smaller core
group directs the overall activities of the ADL’s staff through
participation in Standing Committees of the National Committee.
The Standing Committees are organized in precise parallel to the ADL’s
staff divisions and departments, thus permitting the maximum flow of
marching orders and other inputs from the National Commission into the
day-to-day activities of the League’s paid employees. In this sense,
Edgar Bronfman, and other leading National Commissioners, run the ADL.
Standing Committee Chairmen of the ADL who, together with their
committee members, are appointed by the National Chairman, include:
Howard P. Berkowitz , Planning;
Donald R. Mintz, Civil Rights;
Michael Knockman , Community Services;
Sherwin Newer , Budget;
Melvin I. Salberg, Communications;
Michael E. Schultz, Administration;
Joel Spraerigen and Lucille Kantor, International Affairs;
David H. Strassler , Intergroup Relations;
Robert G. Sugarman, Leadership; and
William Vefren , Development.
These committees, ladies and gentlemen, correspond to the divisions of
the ADL’s full-time staff. And the divisions include the following:
Administration: concerned with the ADL’s internal affairs, it was
directed by Philip Seamus , who had previously been Comptroller for
the American Jewish Committee.
Civil Rights: is a division that works through departments on
Fact-Finding, Research, and Evaluation.
Legal Affairs: a Washington, D.C. office where a task force on Nazi war
criminals is based, and four regional area coordinators.
Community Service: this division directs the 31 regional offices
throughout the United States, whose directors work closely with regional
boards appointed by the National Committee.
Communications: handles public relations and the production of
material. Until January 1990, its director was Lynn Ianniello.
Development: it oversees the fund-raising activities of the ADL Appeal.
Intergroup Relations: is made up of departments on Education, Higher
Education, Campus Affairs, Interfaith Affairs, Television, Radio, and
Film Publications and an International Center for Holocaust Studies.
International Affairs: compromises departments in the United States
concerned with European, Latin American, and Middle Eastern affairs–
and yes, I meant “compromises”–
and is in charge of ADL’s overseas operations, including the offices in
Paris, Rome, and Jerusalem.
Leadership: recruits potential future leaders and coordinates an ADL
national leadership conference.
The ADL, ladies and gentlemen, has over 300 people who hold leadership
or honorary leadership positions. Among this list are a number of
Honorary Vice Chairmen who are closely linked to the ADL, but who, for
various reasons, including government service, cannot serve as active
officers.
This group includes:
Senators:
Rudy Bauschwitz , Republican, Minnesota; and
Howard Metzenbaum, Democrat, Ohio;
former Carter administration Secretary of Commerce: Philip Klutznick;
former Reagan Administration Arms Control negotiator: Max Kampelman;
and
former Senator: Abraham Rubikoff , Democrat, Connecticut; and
Representative: Sidney Yates, Democrat, Illinois.
World Jewish Congress President, Edgar Bronfman, is also an Honorary
Vice Chairman, along with two other major crime figures from the old
Meyer Lansky orbit:

With the exception of members of Congress, all of those that I just read
off are Honorary Vice Chairmen, and were at one time active National
Commission members.
Among the active corps of ADL operatives are:
Burton S. Levinson :
ADL National Chairman since 1987. And his work with ADL dates back to
1950 when, as a student at Los Angeles City College, he infiltrated a
group affiliated with Gerald L. K. Smith. Now, he is a senior partner
in the Beverly Hills-based law firm of Levinson and Liebermann.
Abraham H. Foxman:
who is now the head, the ADL National Director since 1987. He has
worked on the staff of the ADL since 1965. He was born in Baronowicz
, Poland in 1940. Foxman is one of the most mysterious figures in
the ADL leadership. United States intelligence sources, and even some
top-ranking ADL members, reportedly suspect Foxman may be a Soviet
illegal, a long-term penetration agent, operating without any links to
the official Soviet diplomatic corps.
Arnold Forster :
was Associate Director of the ADL under Ben Epstein since 1946, and is
now a member of the National Committee and ADL General Counsel. He has
been of counsel with the New York law firm of Shay and Gould , a
firm intimately tied to the late-mob lawyer, Roy Cohn.
Kenneth J. Bailken :
this former ADL National Chairman from 1982 to 1986 is today an Honorary
Chairman, a National Committee member, as well as President of the ADL
Foundation.
Theodore H. Silbert:
an Honorary Vice Chairman. He works with Edgar Bronfman and the
lucrative Greater New York Appeal for the ADL. Silbert is Chairman of
the Sterling National Bank.
Burton M. Joseph:
ADL National Chairman from 1976 to 1978, is today an Honorary Chairman.
His family runs the Minnesota-based agricultural products firm, I. S.
Joseph. After World War II, Joseph teamed up politically with liberal
Democrat Hubert H. Humphrey, through whom he became friends of Max M.
Kampelman, now ADL Honorary Vice Chairman, and ADL top funder, Dwayne
Andreas. Together, they form the Indianapolis ADL mafia.
Edgar Bronfman:
ADL Honorary National Chairman and head of its Greater New York Appeal.
Irwin Sewell:
since 1966, he is head of the Fact-Finding Department of the ADL’s Civil
Rights Division.
Meyer Eisenberg :
ADL Vice Chairman, and former head of the National Commission’s Civil
Rights Committee, with oversight over the Fact-Finding and Legal
Departments. He served from 1959 to 1970 as an attorney with the United
States Securities and Exchange Commission, attaining the position of
Deputy General Counsel of the SEC before his retirement from
government. In private law practice with a string of Washington, D.C.
area law firms, Eisenberg remains one of the nation’s experts on
securities law.
It was no public relations gaff when in 1985 the Anti-Defamation League
gave its “Torch of Liberty Award” to gangster Morris Delitz ,
founder of the notorious Purple Gang and long-time crime partner of the
late-mobster, Meyer Lansky.
The present leadership of the ADL is dominated by figures with long
standing ties to organized crime, particularly to the international drug
money laundering apparatus. Foremost among these contaminated ADL
officials is Kenneth Bailken, the ex-National Chairman who is still an
Honorary National Chairman, and a director of the ADL Foundation.
While with the New York law firm of Wilkie, Farr, and Gallagher
throughout the 1970s, Bailken masterminded Robert Vesco’s looting of
Investors Overseas Service (IOS) of more than $60 million.
Vesco, the fugitive financier, now living in Havana, Cuba, was an early
partner of Medellin Cartel dope smuggler, Carlos Ledder Rivas ,
helping Ledder to set up his marijuana and cocaine smuggling routes
through the Bahamas.
On April 17th, 1989, Robert Vesco was again indicted by a federal grand
jury in Jacksonville, Florida which charged him with involvement in a
Medellin cartel cocaine smuggling conspiracy from 1974 to 1989.
In January 1980, a jury in the U.S. Southern District of New York,
ordered Wilkie, Farr and Gallagher to pay $35 million to victims of the
IOS looting, and found that Bailken had been instrumental in structuring
the money laundering and theft scheme at every level.
Law enforcement officials believe that IOS was one of the early conduits
for billions of dollars in drug profits, and was a cash repository used
by Meyer Lansky.
Recently, Bailken left Wilkie, Farr to join the country’s largest
firm–Scadden Arps . In much the same way that Wilkie, Farr
pioneered the elaborate off-shore money laundering schemes that today
constitute the blood stream of the international drug trade, Scadden
Arps pioneered the junk bond and leveraged buy-out schemes through which
billions of dollars in dubious off-shore money had been repatriated
through hostile corporate take-overs and asset-stripping of America’s
industrial sector.
Two of Scadden Arps’ most notorious clients are Drexel Burnham’s Michael
Milken and Ivan Boesky, both of whom, not coincidentally, have been ADL
contributors.
Another ADL National Chairman, Burton Joseph, played a pivotal role in
the Robert Vesco take-over and looting of IOS by putting Vesco into
contact with his protege, financier Meschulem Rickless of the
Rapid American Corporation.
Rickless, according to court records, purchased a controlling block of
IOS stock as a surrogate for Vesco. Rickless was later linked to
Bailken, Edgar Bronfman, Henry Kissinger, and other Anti-Defamation
League figures in a real estate scandal involving the illegal purchase
of large tracts in the Israeli occupied territories, and Christian and
Muslim sections of Jerusalem.
During Bailken’s tenure at Wilkie Farr, the firm also handled pro bono
legal work for the Anti-Defamation League, and represented major
Anti-Defamation League donor and suspected crime figure, Edmond Safra.
Bailken represented Safra in the Syrian banker’s take-over of American
Express, a transaction that ended years later in a fiasco with American
Express officials accusing Safra of money laundering.
On January 3rd, 1989, officials of the United States Customs Service and
the United States Drug Enforcement Administration in Bern, Switzerland,
identified Edmond Safra as a major figure in an international drug money
laundering scheme involving the Shikarki Trading Company. The
government reports identified Safra as a lifetime friend and business
associate of Muhammad Shikarki; and identified numbered accounts at
Safra’s New York City Republic National Bank as pass-through accounts
for drug profits from Syrian, Lebanese, Bulgarian, and Colombian
trafficking organizations.
Now, according to aids to Safra, he arranged that the ADL receive $1
million from money he won in a lawsuit in 1989.
There is one financial institution that is more closely linked to the
ADL than any other: Sterling National Bank of New York City.
On January 29th, 1982, Italian authorities filed civil suit against
Sterling National Bank and other U.S. financial institutions on behalf
of depositors in Banca Privata Italiana, charging that $27 million had
been looted.
The Chairman of Sterling, both at the time of the alleged theft and
today, is Theodore H. Silbert, another Honorary Vice Chairman of the ADL
and the former head of the ADL Appeal, its major fund-raising arm. Law
enforcement sources have identified Sterling National as a mob front
since its founding in 1929 by Meyer Lansky–by Meyer Lansky. Associate
Frank Erickson ….
Do you understand what I’m saying, folks? These people are solidly and
completely linked to organized crime.
Meyer Lansky’s associate, Frank Erickson, founded Sterling National as a
mob front. Sterling National was also implicated in a tax evasion
scheme in the early 1980s through another ADL-linked bank director,
Arnold Burns, a Reagan-era U.S. Deputy Attorney General.
Burns’ law firm, Burns and Summit , apparently set up a string of
Caribbean tax shelters which shielded millions of dollars in taxable
income through non-existent R & D investments in Israel.
Former Reagan official, Ambassador to Italy, Maxwell Robb , is
another long-standing Sterling National Director. Robb was a one-time
business partner of Meyer Lansky in the International Airport Hotel
Corporation.
Yet another mob-linked banker who sits on the ADL’s National Commission,
and is listed in the League’s most recent “Purpose and Program” as an
Honorary Vice Chairman is Leonard Abess of the City National Bank of
Miami. in 1981, Abess brought Colombian cartel money launderer Alberto
Duke into the bank’s board, where he remained until he was jailed on
money laundering charges in 1986.
The following year, Donald Beazley was named City National’s
Chairman. Beazley was the former director of the Nuegen Hand
Bank, believed to have been a major laundering conduit for Southeast
Asian heroin proceeds, as well as black funds derived from the illicit
arms trafficking of Theodore G. Shackley , and other former top
Central Intelligence Agency officials later implicated in the
Iran-Contra scandal.
And I wrote about the Nuegen Hand Bank in my book five years ago.
A listing of ADL financial contributors and award recipients over the
recent decades reads like a “Who’s Who” of the Meyer Lansky
international crime syndicate. Long-time Lansky cronies such as Victor
Posner, Hollywood attorney, Sidney Korshak and Mo Delitz all
appear as ADL patrons.
The same pattern holds true at the regional levels of the ADL. For
example, Phil Baskin, a Pittsburgh attorney and Democratic Party fixer,
known to be the chief operator of the ADL in western Pennsylvania, was
forced to resign as the senior partner in his law firm after being
implicated in an effort to deliver a major airport construction contract
to a top figure in the New York City Gambino family, Nicky Sands .
And believe me, folks, the ADL is not Jews and it is not a
representation of the Jewish people. They serve their British masters

I bet you didn’t know that post-World War II, the Anti-Defamation League, was on the United States’ watch list.
“Watch list,” you say?
You don’t even know what that is, do you?
The Anti-Defamation League links to the Bolshevik regime and its intelligence services date back decades. Even during World War II, folks, when the Soviet Union and the United States were allied against the Nazis, certain ADL officials were kept on United States military intelligence watch lists as suspected Soviet agents.
According to one eye-witness account, Sanford Griffith, who headed the equivalent of the Fact-Finding Division during and immediately following World War II, was on just such a list.
The April 5th, 1955 issue of “Headlines and What’s Behind Them” catalogues a controversial instance in which the Anti-Defamation League provided cover for a known Soviet intelligence asset. The Soviet agent in question, Vladimir Stepankowski , had been deported from France and Switzerland in the mid-1930s after having been identified as the head of the Bolshevik Information Bureau, only to immigrate to the United States and immediately go to work for the Anti-Defamation League’s Mitchell Solomon .
Through Solomon’s ties to United States Army Lt. Col. Eugene Prince , an intelligence officer in charge of immigration background checks, Stepankowski was able to penetrate American war-time intelligence operations.
In 1954, he was identified by Elizabeth Bentley as a member of a Soviet spy ring. However, he was saved from prosecution through the intervention of his ADL case officer, Mitchell Solomon.
By this point, the ADL had deployed the Soviet agent into the National Renaissance Party of Robert Madole , a Neo-Nazi counter gang that had been set up largely by the ADL infiltrators, in order to create the specter of a new fascist menace inside the United States.
According to the “Headlines” account, the Madole group attracted a small corps of members, principally on the basis of the ADL providing NRP founder Madole with a stable of prostitutes from the Mickey Jelkie vice ring. ADL officials, Ben Epstein and Arnold Forster, then reportedly used Stepankowski’s information to inundate the Veld Commission–that’s the House Unamerican Activities Committee–remember, I told you Joseph McCarthy was right. They inundated the committee with scare stories that the NRP had swelled to 200 to 700 members in New York City alone.
ADL officials, and the Anti-Defamation League as an organization, are guilty of the same crimes for which Karl Spitz Chanel and Richard Miller were indicted during the 1987 Iran-Contra probe, illegally using private, tax-exempt organizations to conduct covert operations. However, unlike Chanel and Miller who were low-level flunkies in the overall secret parallel government plot, the ADL was deeply involved in every facet of the Iran-Contra scandal and the Project Democracy scheme at the very highest levels, on both the government and private sector sides.
The ADL’s central role in the official Project Democracy apparatus of the Reagan-Bush era was an outgrowth of the ADL’s long-standing position as a major agency within the United States branch of the Socialist Internationale, which has always been dominated by members of the old Bucheranite right opposition to Stalin. This link is typified by Fact-Finding Division head, Irwin Sewell , who was trained by the International Ladies Garment Workers Union of former United States Communist Party Chairman–Jay Lovestone.
Sewell was later schooled at the premier Fabian Labor School, Ruskin College, at Britain’s Oxford University–William Clinton’s alma mater–and then passed through the Socialist Party and the Jewish Labor Committee before graduating to his ADL post in 1967. Today, Sewell sits on the board of the League for Industrial Democracy and the Social Democrats U.S.A.
The direct links between the ADL and the Iran-Contra fiasco run through the following key players. Take note:
Karl Gershman : a former paid staffer of the Anti-Defamation League’s Fact-Finding Division; was the director of the National Endowment for Democracy (or NED) throughout the Iran-Contra fiasco. >From 1966 to 1972, Gershman was employed by the Research Department of the ADL.
According to Jerome Bakst , his supervisor at the time, Gershman used his extensive experiments as a New Left activist at Yale University to provide the ADL with detailed dossiers on Students for a Democratic Society, the Black Panther Party, and the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee.
According to documents, ladies and gentlemen, procured under the Freedom of Information Act, as well as a recently published book-length account of the FBI’s co/intell/pro efforts against the black student movement in the 1960s, the ADL dossiers, apparently including Gershman’s work, were regularly passed on to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Division V.
Early this year, Gershman hired ADL Fact-Finding Division Deputy Director David Lowe as his Executive Assistant at the State Department, United States Information Agency Unit.
NED was a major government funding conduit for Lt. Col. Oliver North, and for the White House Deputy Walter Rayman’s Public Diplomacy Project, a black propaganda and active-measures effort, launched to shape media coverage of the Sandinista regime in Nicaragua.
Anti-Defamation League Latin American Affairs Director, Rabbi Morton M. Rosenthal , was directly financed by the NED in 1985 to conduct an electoral fact-finding trip through Central America. Among Rosenthal’s assignments for the NED was the monitoring of the presidential elections in El Salvador.
On May 23rd, 1983, Rosenthal issued a report charging that the Sandinista regime in Nicaragua was guilty of anti-semitism. The Rosenthal attack on the Sandinistas was part of an effort to marshall Jewish support for the Reagan administration’s Contra effort. That month, Rosenthal addressed a closed-door White House meeting, sponsored by Faith Wittlesley , at which aspects of the covert Contra support program were apparently discussed.
In a memorandum to the Latin American Affairs Committee of the ADL, dated June 9th, 1983, Rosenthal described the ADL’s direct role in the anti-Sandinista propaganda offensive. The ADL’s Sandinista anti-semitism story’s unusually wide international and domestic coverage by both print and electronic media stimulated a flood of calls and mail to Nicaragua’s embassy and consulates, and also elicited strong comments from members of Congress.
A few days after the story broke, folks, the Nicaraguan embassy contacted us through intermediaries and inquired if we were willing to meet and discuss the issues. The embassy then called officially to invite ADL representatives to meet the Nicaraguan ambassador Antonio Yarpine , and the meeting was held at the Nicaraguan embassy in Washington on Monday, June the 6th.
Kenneth Bailken , then the National Chairman of the ADL, was the attorney for Saudi billionaire, Adonan Kashogi , during 1984 and 1985 when Kashogi provided the initial funds through which the Iranian government purchased arms from the North-Secord-Hakim enterprise.
At the time of these transactions, Bailken was also a member of an administrative commission revamping United States federal codes.
Another member of the Commission was C. Boyden Gray , the General Counsel to Vice President George Bush, who formally ran the administration’s special situation group, Crisis Pre-Planning Group–the White House inter-agency units set up under National Security Decision Directive No. 3–to oversee the Reagan-Bush’s government’s Central American policy.
The Lake Resources front company in Geneva, Switzerland, through which General Richard Secord and Albert Hakim laundered the Iranian profits to the Contras, was controlled from the outset by attorney Willard Zucker, a former partner of Bailken’s at Willie Farr . Zucker had been installed by the ADL National Chairman in 1972 as the Chief of the IOS Legal Department. This made him a key, inside player in the Vesco looting of the fund.
Edmond Safra, one of the ADL’s major financial angels, was the co-owner, with Willard Zucker, of the fleet of corporate jets which were used to shuttle then National Security Advisor Robert McFarlin and Lt. Col. Oliver North to secret meetings in Teheran.
Abraham H. Foxman:
who is now the head, the ADL National Director since 1987. He has
worked on the staff of the ADL since 1965. He was born in Baronowicz
, Poland in 1940. Foxman is one of the most mysterious figures in
the ADL leadership. United States intelligence sources, and even some
top-ranking ADL members, reportedly suspect Foxman may be a Soviet
illegal, a long-term penetration agent, operating without any links to
the official Soviet diplomatic corps.

AIPAC Spy Case Goes To Top Of Jewish Lobby Group
The Jewish Telegraph Agency reports that there are intense discussions inside well-known U.S. lobby groups, that the Larry Franklin/AIPAC spy case will inhibit the functioning of Jewish organizations and other lobbyists that deal with the executive branch. Abraham Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League, said, “Not just Jewish organizations, but lobbyists in general. “Lawyers will be telling their clients, ‘Let’s look at practices,’ ” reported the Jerusalem Post, June 19.
The Post article covers the fact that the JTA has revealed the Howard Kohr, the executive director of AIPAC, one of the largest lobby groups in the United States, and the most militant and right wing of the major Jewish lobby groups, had received e-mails containing classified information that had been pilfered by Defense Department analyst, Larry Franklin, and passed along to two of Kohr’s key operatives in AIPAC, Steve Rosen and Keith Wiessman. JTA claims that Kohr did not know the information was classified.
The AIPAC/Franklin spy case is “bigger than the Pollard affair,” reports Jeff Steinberg in this week’s EIR Online InDepth.

In repeated, flagrant violation of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal

A February 13th, 1970 article in the “Los Angeles Times” by investigative reporter Jack Nelson first revealed FBI and ADL joint patronage of the Roberts brothers in the June 30th, 1968 murder of a Klanswoman named Kathy Ainsworth at the time of the shoot-out in front of the Meridian, Mississippi home of ADL official Meyer Davidson , which resulted in the death of Ainsworth, and the near-death of her associate, Thomas A. Terrance III, who survived over 70 shotgun, rifle, and pistol wounds–miraculously.
Alton Wayne Roberts and six other Klansmen had already been convicted for federal civil rights violations in connection with their infamous murder of civil rights workers Chaney, Goodman, and Schwerner , in Philadelphia, Mississippi in 1964.
Roberts’ case, ladies and gentlemen, was under appeal when, according to various newspaper accounts and local police reports, the brothers were approached by Adolf Sam Botnick , who is still the ADL’s Regional Director in New Orleans, with the proposition that they would be paid $69,000 to act as agents provocateurs in setting up a Klan bombing of Anti-Defamation League official Meyer Davidson’s home.
In other words, the ADL hired Klansmen to bomb their own official’s home.
Botnick had been a close associate of the FBI Division V Counter-Intelligence Chief in New Orleans, the late Guy Bannister , implicated in the John F. Kennedy assassination, in whose home, ladies and gentlemen, was found stone phalluses, who had established the left-wing Fair Play for Cuba group that was part of the milieu of President John F. Kennedy’s purported assassination of Lee Harvey Oswald.
Bannister had also been a controller of an agent provocateur network of the Minutemen, which according to one well-informed United States intelligence source, helped break James Earl Ray out of prison so that he could be used as a similar patsy in the April 4th, 1968 murder of Dr. Martin Luther King in Memphis, Tennessee, just a few weeks prior to the Meridian, Mississippi shoot-out staged by the Roberts brothers at the behest of the ADL and the FBI.
A police file report dated June 10th, 1968 by Detective Luke Scarborough confirms the “Los Angeles Times” report of the Ainsworth set-up; namely, that there was a three-way deal between the ADL, FBI, and local police in the matter, for which the ADL had provided all of the money. As the apparent result of such Anti-Defamation League/Federal Bureau of Investigation cooperation–much like the Waco massacre–the federal government trod lightly in punishing Alton Wayne Roberts for his part in the murder of Schwerner, Goodman, and Chaney, when on March 17th, 1970, he was sentenced to only ten years and was paroled in only three.
The Roberts brothers were reportedly later given the status of federally protected witnesses and remain on the FBI and ADL’s informant roster to this day.
As for the ADL officials, Sam Botnick still runs the New Orleans Regional Office. And his then assistant, Richard Loebenthal , took over ADL operations in Detroit. Loebenthal was later caught funding local members of the Communist Labor Party, a violent, Mao-ist group, infiltrated into local auto plants.
Justin J. Finger , who ran the ADL’s Atlanta-based Southern Legal Department during the heyday of civil rights activities and Klan murders, is now Associate National Director of the Anti-Defamation League.
The ADL dirty tricks, in collusion with the FBI, were later run against segments of the anti-war movement during the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Freedom of Information Act documents released by the FBI, CF 100-530-X, from the Special Agent in Charge, Los Angeles, to FBI Director Hoover on the subject entitled “Black Panther Party: Racial Matters” point to ADL/FBI collusion against the Black Panther Party as well. The document in question is an October 22nd, 1968 ADL Report on the Black Panther Party by Karl Gershman and Jerome Bakst, which concludes, and I quote:
“For the present at least, increasingly frequent and increasingly violent encounters can be expected between the Panthers and the police.”
End quote. The discovery of this inflammatory report in FBI files corroborates a passage in the recent book entitled “Racial Matters” by Kenneth O’Riley in a chapter, titled “The Only Good Panther”, which says, quote:
“Division V tried to disrupt the Panthers by manipulating Rabbi Meyer Kahani and the vigilante-type Jewish Defense League (JDL), leaking information to college administrators and sources in the Anti-Defamation League, and working with newspaper columnists, the FBI compared Panther ideology with the traditional anti-semitism of organizations like the American Nazi Party and the even more traditional anti-semitism of the late Adolf Hitler. And in the case of the JDL, the FBI did not limit itself to the furnishing of factual information because Kahani’s group could not be motivated to act unless the information concerning anti-semitism and other matters were furnished with some embellishment.”
End quote. The ADL, ladies and gentlemen, has continued its involvement in such co/intell/pro-type operations to this very day. In fact, well-informed United States intelligence sources charge that after the scope of the FBI’s criminality in co/intell/pro had been exposed and condemned by the United States Congress, the FBI temporarily shopped-out all such co/intell/pro operations to the Anti-Defamation League, and I’m going to give you two examples of just such cases.
James R. Rosenberg , also known as Jimmy Mitchell, Jimmy Anderson, is a full-time paid agent of Anti-Defamation League Fact-Finding Division. Police reports corroborate statements to the “Executive Intelligence Review” that Rosenberg was the Anti-Defamation League’s infiltrator into the Ku Klux Klan chapter in Trenton, New Jersey, who sought to provoke the group into bombing Trenton’s chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). Pay stubs from the ADL to Rosenberg at this time have been recovered.
Like many provocateurs employed by both the ADL and the more overtly violent Jewish Defense League, Rosenberg was given military training in Israel as an Israeli Defense Forces soldier on loan from the U.S. National Guard.

Mordecai Levy , also known as James Guttman , James Frank, Mark Levine, Mark Levy, Mordy, etc. On August 10th, 1989, Mordecai Levy was apprehended by the New York Police Department after he mounted the roof of his 6 Bleeker Street apartment building in Greenwich Village and wounded an innocent passer-by in wild sniper fire. The shooting occurred after Jewish Defense League (JDL) leader, Irv Reuben , tried to deliver a subpoena to Levy. Levy now heads the rival Jewish Defense Organization for a civil libel case.
The arrest, ladies and gentlemen, of the 30-year-old terrorist on the charges of attempted murder, first degree assault, and reckless endangerment, brought to light a new chapter in the pattern of FBI and ADL collusion in domestic terrorism reminiscent of co/intell/pro.
In a July 18th, 1984 court deposition, the Anti-Defamation League’s Irwin Sewell admitted that he has met and has had telephone conversations with Levy from time to time for quite some time. Sewell’s admissions drastically underplayed Levy’s long-standing role as one of the ADL’s agents provocateurs. But in an interview with “Village Voice” reporter, Robert Friedman , another ADL Fact-Finding Division official, Gail Gans confirmed Levy’s status as an ADL operator.
Levy was, in fact, a shared asset of the ADL, the FBI, and many other police agencies. Two of Levy’s FBI controllers are known to be FBI Special Agents Joseph Valleket and Paul Locke , both of the New York Field Office.
Freedom of Information Act documents show that the New York Field Office had an official liaison with the ADL’s national headquarters since, at the very least, the 1960s.
In February 1979, Levy was caught attempting to provoke a major riot in Philadelphia.
And now, folks, back to the ugly, stinking, rotten, putrid truth of the ADL–something, many things, that most of you have never dreamed possible in your wildest imagination.
In February 1979, Mordecai Levy, also known as James Guttman, James Frank, Mark Levine, Mark Levy, Mordy, etc., was caught attempting to provoke a major riot in Philadelphia. Using the pseudonym, James Guttman, Levy obtained a rally permit for a Neo-Nazi rally–a Neo-Nazi rally–at which he planned to display banners reading, quote:
“Hitler was Right! Gas the Commie Jews!”
End quote. Working out of the Philadelphia offices of the JDL, Levy, under his phony, Neo-Nazi cover, was in the process of contacting all of the local Ku Klux Klan and Nazi groups to draw them into the event.
Simultaneously, he was working with local left-wing and Jewish groups and black churches to organize a counter-demonstration. When some local reporters learned of Levy’s scheme and informed the National Park Service, the rally permit was canceled.
Local press headlines exposed the plot with headlines such as in the “Journal”. Quote:
“Jew Applied For The Permit For Nazi Rally”
End quote. And the “Philadelphia Bulletin”, quote:
“Nazi Rally Rouser Really Jewish”
End quote. At the same time, the Anti-Defamation League ordered Levy to conduct a harassment campaign against associates of Lyndon LaRouche which involved scores of death threats phoned into the offices of Campaigner Publications in New York City.
By Levy’s own admission, that effort culminated in an attempted JDL armed assault against Lyndon LaRouche’s Riverdale, New York apartment, and a menacing demonstration of JDL-ers and YIPpies (which is the Youth International Party) in front of the Campaigner offices.
The ADL’s direct use of Levy in criminal activities came to light in an affidavit, submitted in October 1984, during LaRouche’s civil libel suit against the National Broadcasting Corporation and the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith in the United States District Court in Alexandria, Virginia.
Levy admitted to a California LaRouche associate that he had been ordered by the ADL to launch a telephone harassment campaign against the Alexandria jurors, which would be blamed on followers of LaRouche. The Anti-Defamation League, according to the affidavit, provided Levy with the names and addresses of the jurors.
FBI Special Agent Richard Wade , of the Alexandria Field Office, was ordered by Federal Judge James Cachieras , to investigate the Levy jury tampering evidence, but the investigation was quashed.
On November 20th, 1984, Levy fired a .45 caliber bullet into the Los Angeles house of a LaRouche associate who was investigating this jury tampering incident.
In 1985, Levy also emerged as a suspected accomplice in several of the most significant domestic terrorist acts in years.
On August 15th, 1985, Sharim Subzukov , a leader of the Sircasian Muslim Community in Patterson, New Jersey, was the target of a bombing of his home which caused his death on September 7th.
Just days before the explosion, Mordecai Levy had been in Patterson publicly attacking Subzukov in a local synagogue with the very same charges by which the United States Justice Department’s official Office of Special Investigations had unsuccessfully tried to prove Subzukov was a Nazi war criminal.
A few days after the bombing, Levy held a press conference in Patterson applauding the attack, but denying responsibility.
One week prior to the bombing, Levy had phoned a death threat to Subzukov’s attorney in the OSI case, Michael Dennis, Esq., during which Levy also vowed to kill Subzukov.
On October the 11th, 1985, Alex Oda , the Santa Anna, California head of the Arab American Anti-Discrimination Committee, died at precisely 11:21 a.m., after a bomb, rigged to the door of his office, exploded as Oda was reporting for work.
The night before he was assassinated, Oda had been interviewed on two national television shows on the high-jacking of the Aquile Lauro cruise ship, which Oda said had been the work of an anti-Arafat terrorist splinter group from the Palestinian Liberation Organization.
Highly reliable sources report that Oda had been the recipient of multiple threats from Mordecai Levy, the JDL, and the JDO.
Although FBI Director, William Webster, a long-time friend of the Anti-Defamation League, was obliged to publicly identify the Jewish Underground as the most active terrorist organization in the United States during 1985, no arrests were ever made in either the Subzukov or Oda cases.
Now, let me say that once again, just in case it didn’t sink in.
Federal Bureau of Investigation Director, William Webster, who was a long-time friend of the Anti-Defamation League, was forced to publicly identify the Jewish Underground as the most active terrorist organization in the United States during 1985.
Sources close to the late Alex Oda were candidly told by the Federal Bureau of Investigation that there would be no arrests because of the killer’s links to Israeli Intelligence, the Mossad. The sources were also told that Levy would not be prosecuted despite evidence of his complicity before the fact, because he was to be used by the government as a witness in upcoming federal trials of Lyndon LaRouche.
Top officials of the Anti-Defamation League are suspected accessories in a number of major international political assassinations, including the murders of Swedish Prime Minister Olaf Palm , and Indian Prime Minister Indiri Gandhi.
While no evidence is known to exist linking the ADL to the actual executions, very strong evidence does exist in all three cases implicating top Anti-Defamation League officials in the preparation or the cover-up of those crimes.
In the case of the assassination of Indira Gandhi on October the 31st, 1984, eye-witness accounts of a court room encounter with Anti-Defamation League officials Irwin Sewell and Barbara Wahl just hours after Mrs. Gandhi was murdered by a Sikh fanatic who was a member of her own security detail, report that the two were visibly elated over her assassination.
The key link between the Anti-Defamation League and the Sikh extremist who murdered Prime Minister Gandhi runs through Rabbi Rosenthal, a senior ADL employee, and head of the League’s Latin American Affairs Division, who is directly linked to the man who ordered the assassination, Dr. Jagzhet Sing Chouhan . It also runs through Rosenthal’s long-time intimate political collaborator and sometimes business partner, John Speller.
Speller, ladies and gentlemen, is widely believed to be a high-level intelligence agent for British Intelligence and Scottish Rite Freemasonic networks associated with Lord Nicholas Bethel and Julian Amory , although he also had documented links to Israeli, Soviet, and American intelligence services.
And now, folks, back to the ugly, stinking, rotten, putrid truth of the ADL–something, many things, that most of you have never dreamed possible in your wildest imagination.
In February 1979, Mordecai Levy, also known as James Guttman, James Frank, Mark Levine, Mark Levy, Mordy, etc., was caught attempting to provoke a major riot in Philadelphia. Using the pseudonym, James Guttman, Levy obtained a rally permit for a Neo-Nazi rally–a Neo-Nazi rally–at which he planned to display banners reading, quote:
“Hitler was Right! Gas the Commie Jews!”
End quote. Working out of the Philadelphia offices of the JDL, Levy, under his phony, Neo-Nazi cover, was in the process of contacting all of the local Ku Klux Klan and Nazi groups to draw them into the event.
Simultaneously, he was working with local left-wing and Jewish groups and black churches to organize a counter-demonstration. When some local reporters learned of Levy’s scheme and informed the National Park Service, the rally permit was canceled.
Local press headlines exposed the plot with headlines such as in the “Journal”. Quote:
“Jew Applied For The Permit For Nazi Rally”
End quote. And the “Philadelphia Bulletin”, quote:
“Nazi Rally Rouser Really Jewish”
End quote. At the same time, the Anti-Defamation League ordered Levy to conduct a harassment campaign against associates of Lyndon LaRouche which involved scores of death threats phoned into the offices of Campaigner Publications in New York City.
By Levy’s own admission, that effort culminated in an attempted JDL armed assault against Lyndon LaRouche’s Riverdale, New York apartment, and a menacing demonstration of JDL-ers and YIPpies (which is the Youth International Party) in front of the Campaigner offices.
For example, organizations representing Jewish and Sikh communities have helped us improve our ability to screen religious travelers. The Sikh community has partnered with our office and the Federal Protective Service to develop training posters on how security guards should screen people who wear or carry certain religious items.
