Time to Say a Resounding “No” to Government

No More Second Chances

By Gordon Duff, Senior Editor

The “Tea Party” has spoken, using their congressional bludgeon.  America’s working class has to pick up the bill for decades of waste, corruption, illegal wars, payoffs to Israel and massive tax cuts to the richest 1%.

When we are done, the average retiree will receive benefits, frozen for years due to rigging COLA (Cost of Living Allowance), Social Security for less than 2 years before dying.

What the president and congress put on the table during this first attack, few know of.  Military pay, veterans benefits, pensions, medical care, all are classified now as “entitlements.” What didn’t disappear this time will eventually go.  It is only a matter of time.

Let’s add more things to the list, see if we can push the savings even further.  It’s time we got serious about debt, time we stopped screwing around.

We have 4 chronically underperforming bureaucracies that, not only waste money but threaten our freedoms.  These are:

  • The Department of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano.  I would say more about Janet, the worst decision President Obama or any president ever made if it weren’t for Tom Ridge, DHS director from 2003 to 2005, perhaps as bad a public servant as former Attorney General John Ashcroft.  DHS has to go, dismantled, gone, no more, we can keep the Coast Guard and shitcan the rest.  Comparing them to the Gestapo is an insult to Himmler.
  • ICE, Immigration and Customs Enforcement:  Does it get any worse than this?  If the states can’t handle it themselves, it will never be handled at all.
  • Department of Justice:  Years ago, Karl Rove restructured the Justice Department to mimic the Capone organization in Chicago.  Those who refuse to pay for protection, political donations and “favors,” are subject to millions of pages of obscure laws and regulations.  Monkey’s with machineguns would be better at delivering justice.

YouTube - Veterans Today -

  • Department of Veterans Affairs:  250,000 employees spend endless billions of dollars on obfuscation, abuse, denial and open cruelty.  Turn the whole thing over to the Irish Catholic Church.  If vets are going to be screwed, it might as well be in a good cause.

The next step would be to eliminate all outsourcing, military, CIA, everything.  As government does nothing, hiring 420,000 people around the world to help it achieve that lauded goal at a cost no one can ever know, so much of it is “black budget,” can only be waste.

We are currently in two wars, a decade or more old, Iraq really started in 1991 and 2003 was simply a “flareup.”

We thank Wikileaks and Congressman Ron Paul for proving the first Gulf War was in response to the invasion of Kuwait, an attack approved by the White House.  Read the cable here.

Despite the fact that we have continual claims that Al Qaeda, the mythical terror organization is plotting against poor innocent Gaddafi, I think the BBC made their point very well:

YouTube - Veterans Today -

We can go further than that.  Osama bin Laden was an innocent man who worked for the CIA until the day of his death in 2001.  We can prove it, that and so much more.  For an outline on some of that case, enough to discredit those peddling Al Qaeda scares and bin Laden fairy tales, go here:

With no Al Qaeda, responsibility for 9/11 entirely with Bush and Cheney, no enemies in Afghanistan and Iraq, it isn’t about bringing the boys and girls home or bringing the dead back to life, it’s time we asked for our money back.

For those who aren’t aware that Britain has been subjected to government orchestrated terrorism, carefully planned in congress with Israel and America, you can read about it here.

Take a moment and watch this video by Anthony Lawson:

There has been a general refusal on the part of the United States military establishment to accept that the Cold War is over.  Now that we can prove the war on Saddam and the subsequent military operations that made use of the army built to fight the Soviet Union in Europe were orchestrated by treasonous acts by two Bush presidents, we no longer have any excuse for keeping this capability alive anymore.  This is where we start:

  • Close all overseas bases, “mothballing” critical ones like Aviano, Ramstein and Spangdahlem.  Leave Diego Garcia to the British and move everything out, in total.  Remove all forces from the Gulf and leave the defense of that region to the UAE, Iraq, Iran and Saudi Arabia.  Iran?  Yes, get real.  They have been begging for the chance to get on our good side for years.  How do I know this?  After all, if you read Jonathan Kay, I am an Iranian spy as are all at Veterans Today.  This also means we should pull out of Korea and Japan, especially Okinawa.  Korea is a powerful nation and Japan, despite setbacks recently, nearly conquered half the world not that long ago.  I think they can manage, with China to help.  There is no “return on investment” for further American involvement in the region.  It has all been smoke and mirrors.
  • Mothball the nuclear submarine force.  Russia, China, India and Israel, those who currently possess nuclear armed submarines, should agree to the same.  Russia is ready to agree as is China.  If India and that other country make noises, cut off their welfare checks.
  • End all foreign aid.  Israel uses theirs to bribe congress.  Other nations steal it all or spend it on fighting their neighbors.  We need it ourselves.
  • Cut congressional pay by 70%, eliminate ALL congressional pensions and health care.  Staffers can all be volunteers.  Congress can work from home, meet over skype and members of congress can make ends meet by getting second jobs like real Americans.
  • Bring the Army home and close the friggin’ borders totally, “shoot to kill” totally.
  • Freeze all assets held by Federal Reserve banks.  If any (almost all) those banks are found to be foreign owned, declare all relationships with them to be inconsistent with our constitution.  America will no longer pay banks, particularly foreign owned, to profit on our debt, sell us our own money and do so in direct violation of our laws.
  • Declare all debt and all currency worthless until those holding it can explain why they have it.  Got a billion dollars?  Tell me where you got it, prove it?  Tell me you are holding a trillion dollars in treasury bills?  Prove to me where it came from.  America will no longer recognize currency or debt instruments that can’t be shown to have originated legally.  70% of the national debt will turn to mist in seconds.

As for corporations, there is no reason to tax them out of existence.  However, if corporations have “moved overseas” to avoid paying taxes, set up phony operations in the Cayman Islands or a dozen other safe havens, they either account for their activities there, bring those funds home and pay the taxes on them or say goodbye to America.  Fugitive warrants will make the lives of those who are now estimated to have moved over 65% of America’s former commerce “off the planet” more colourful and al fresco.

A few minor changes in government will be a good start.  The “electoral college,” something no one understands has to go.  Votes, from now on, are paper, counted on the spot and carefully registered, at gunpoint if necessary.

The “seniority system” in congress that has allowed crooked politicians from the most backward parts of the country to run everything, make rules, dictate to presidents, silence all opposition, crush reform, ends now.

Our legal system will have to be totally trashed, depoliticized, with courts eliminated, replaced by citizen arbitration panels and political control over law enforcement and the judicial system eliminated.

Laws have to be in plain English only.

We can no longer afford our legal system, it has to go.

Drugs have to be eliminated from America, stopped at the border totally and organizations like, for instance, Congress and the CIA that are involved in narcotics importation on a massive scale, Afghanistan, Columbia and Mexico have to be rooted out and the guilty punished, yes, by those same citizen arbitration panels.

The medical system doesn’t need to be publicly controlled.  Nurses must be allowed to open medical practices and compete openly with doctors.  If some choose to partner with doctors and drive down costs, compete with other businesses to deliver better services for less money, they should all be allowed to do that.

Our current system is an artificial monopoly that exalts the expensive and incompetent and stifles competition.

Many recent moves in the drug business, pushed by crooks in government, such as those that allow patents to be placed on simple and inexpensive medications once freely available, raising their prices a hundredfold, have to be recognized as the criminal fraud they are.

The mortgage and credit card systems in the United States have to be eliminated entirely, they have failed and nearly taken all of us down with them.  Only medical thievery has done more damage than these two areas.

All lobbying organizations, political groups,”think tanks” and “not for profit” or “non profit” organizations, churches included, that involve themselves in politics or government regulations should be taxed.

The United States Supreme Court, as with most state supreme courts, should be elected, 4 year terms and include non-lawyers.  Would any of you have Justice Clarence Thomas defend you on a speeding ticket?  Nuf sed.

Senate terms would be 2 years and senators would be required to represent a minimum of 4 million people.

New senate districts, when redrawn, would be done so with straight lines only, no islands or convoluted snakes as with congressional districts.

Congressional districts will be redrawn to reflect contiguous geography and no longer be tortuously gerrymandered so as to deny “equal protection” as guaranteed by the constitution and ignored by the crooked as hell Supreme Court.

In the end, the new America would have 5% employed by the  government and military, not 43% or more.  Honest work would be rewarded by honest pay.  The sick would be treated by honest professionals subject to the same accountability we expect from the people who clean our carpets and fix our cars.

Courts would no longer be run by judges selected in smoke filled rooms by local oligarchs while our lawyers, in many ways those who should have been the best and brightest, those most capable of contributing to the wealth of our communities, pour through endless pleadings based on legal concepts Napoleon or King John would no longer recognize.

This is simply what we have to do to save ourselves, save our country and save the future of our children.

We won’t be able to make this omelet without breaking a few eggs.

  1. broken eggs? is the A word illegal? can we use the R word without retaliation? the collateral damage will be huge, but inevitable. do you honestly believe that 320 million people are going to come together to fix what is clearly broken, thru the ballot box? i do not believe in the easter bunny. or easter, for that matter. this is going to get ugly before it gets better. water supplies will be crucial. canned food is everywhere. water will be the deciding factor. those without a means of defense will rot where they fall. those countries “holding our paper” will surely come to get some collateral. communications will be scary. walking next door to approach any subject could prove fatal. be careful what you wish for.

  2. Gordon, Please Read!

    This post was amazing.

My favorite post of all time. I even think you can take the key parts and prescriptions you gave and post these as their own smaller, direct to the point, message. Then shower this everywhere. Syndicate it. I would love to copy and paste this to everyone I know, putting your name below it of course.

It is important because when we name things, when we speak the truth it resonates with people who then know that their own intuition is not off, but in accord with most intelligent, thoughtful Americans. THey then rally around a strong, bold voice that says exactly what they are thinking.

If you keep hitting those important points regarding how we should handle things, then a unified movement can build. Right now their chief weapon is our divisive nature. There are those that think in the left-right dichotomy; or Cathlic-Protestant, or Jew-Gentile, or Old World-New World. This all creates a paralysis.

I think we need to call for a general strike, or a general boycott and then build this outward to include more and ever increasingly larger circles of people/groups/affiliations.

If anything starts out being too polarizing, people won’t jump on it even if they should, like a Tel Aviv boycott. But if you get them to understand the dollars in their wallet, the FED, and the basics about show terrorism is not real, etc. Then you hit them right where it counts. And we need to do this, and keep doing it, multiplied by the millions of us, multiplied by our work force.

What we are not doing is using our leverage. We are the consumers, the workers, the people who do things instead of parasitically suck on the hosts. So we stop doing it. That simple.

Impeach Obama first, call for disclosure on numerous crimes, etc… Boom, boom, boom. 1, 2, 3… just like that.

“The contamination won’t go away any time soon – with cesium’s half-life being roughly 30 years, the radioactivity will only slightly decrease in the coming years.”

Cesium can build up in the body and high levels are thought to be a risk for various other cancers. Still, researchers who studied Chernobyl could not find an increase in cancers that might be linked to cesium.

Cesium also accumulates over time in the soil, which makes boars most susceptible They snuffle through forest soil with their snouts and feed on the kinds of mushroom that tend to store radioactivity, Environment Ministry spokesman Thomas Hagbeck said.

  17. Gordon,

If you truly believe an energy system was used, threat outside U.S., there is methods to calculate the point of origin. You and I both know there are existing energy systems as you state (smaller), but about 25-30 years obsolete. And that’s how technology is implemented (older technology implemented and deployed). A few years ago, I was invited to laser research facility in the South of one European country. Technology using invisible light spectrum, you would be surprised how much thermal energy can be created and delivered.

Think about what platforms would be necessary, the power requirement (watts), would this require the ground base to be stationary (not mobile), and underground when inactive for concealment? Is there an orbital diverter platform, with special optics; let’s assume harmonic distortions must be corrected through space. So plot the targets, and the rest is basic mathematics. Start plotting and then you may discover your energy system; I can not do this for you. Good Bye.

  18. Gordon,

There’s a reason why I made the comment regarding comets and asteroids? The last administration explored the possibility of how space agencies could provide insight on future weapon systems, and by the way, who was in charge of the space agency? That would be the former VP, correct. I sent you some literature on their pursuits, but what if this agency was used for other purposes. You won’t find the presentation I sent you on the net anymore, it was discarded.

Disasters always require cover stories, like 911, however, this created a problem. You also discussed false flag operations, and now this created a problem. But there maybe other ways or stories that presented to explain these “strange” disasters? Imagine that, an object from space, the perfect cover story for what? Dump a little information (puzzle pieces) over and over, but do so using different formats.

Study the information being distributed about the coming comets and asteroids, and then maybe you will discover the next disaster. And remember, I did not say the so-called comet or asteroid would cause the disaster, only a story that can cover the result.

Study the information and determine the messengers, look at planetary alignment, and if you look close enough you may once again see the “Bin Laden Affect” being implemented.

Then maybe you’ll discover your next FF before it happens.

There’s no more coming from here, I just asking you to start looking forward, then connect the dots to past operations.

    That’s all…over and out.

    • Dan
An issue those with ‘background’ duck regarding 9/11 is the possible use of fringe technology/science at the wtc.
we know we are dealing with an energy source, we also know we had radiation but how it was managed, focused…

no one wants to admit that all could be true, explosives, planes as missiles, a useless and nearly harmless deception, nukes or maybe something far worse

prager says its in the dust

      • Yes,

And where being hidden now and in future, not on land Gordon. All I am asking is study the information above, people need to be better at predicting, so thinks can be stopped and altered. You have the tools. Exposure often stops activity or alters, however, the cost can be great. I know this Gordon. Keep using your pen, the “Bin Laden Affect” created problems for them, they will use other strategies. And the above mentioned will be likely, with cover story. I understand technology, have worked in this area my entire life, take a trip to Ic-land Gordon.

And Gordon, I warned the FBI in 2003, and others in Michigan 2000, the country will be slowly robbed in the future and some of the people involved. Because of my exposure to the people doing the robbing and their behavior, absolutely no ethical values, NONE.

I told you in the past, they will do it. Remember that. Are you looking for the next FF, or are you being mentally prepared for it. If their out numbered and being exposed, and need to depart, what is done? A combat vet like yourself already knows the answer…chaos, then disaster.

Put the pieces together. They have a habit of leaving an information trail, and you know, so look forward. The past is useful in analyzing the future, the patterns, the behavior, however methods change as a direct result of information gathered and studied. And people disappearing as a result of the information they pass.

over and….out. Nothing more to say here…..good luck and be safe.

        • And the first meeting, for investigation abroad, started with US Commerce Department, than later introduced local FBI.

Local FBI said, “You need to stop your fight with the ——- wealthy family in Michigan”. And when you do this, we will talk. And what about this ——— wealthy family in Michigan, they were running black water operations inside the US prior to 911. They were targeting people and running military operations against them, I guess nobody was allowed to discuss this activity during the last administration.

Remember the AG of Michigan during this time? “J”, she said there’s nothing she can do (after multiple reports)…that’s right. Wealth buys all. Didn’t she become the governor?

And they wanted what? Me to stop writing about this….maybe they should have investigated this activity instead.

I doubt you would be surprised how connected everything is, it’s amazing what you can’t discuss, like criminal operations against people.

But that’s the past, and the end.

  19. Gordon,

  20. Hi Gordon,

I’m a big fan of VT. I think you are off on your assessment of our legal system. I would definitely not allow those who are not practiced in the law into the Supreme Court. I would do away with the lifetime memberships, however.

We can afford our legal system – we just can’t afford our criminal penal code. There is reform that is required, but stifled by the same old politics we are all very familiar with. I would reorganize criminal procedures and sentencing guidelines wholly, but I would definitely not do away with someone’s right to go after someone who has wronged them.

We have all heard of the myth of the 6 million dollar McDonald’s coffee spill pay out. It’s a myth – a half truth. In the law, there is something called remittitur and adititur, whereby a judge will look at a jury reward and based on the notions of reasonableness and pragmatics reduce or enlarge the amount given. The woman in that case got enough to pay for her medical attention and a few thousand for pain and suffering, which helped to pay her lawyers’ fees that would have been rewarded to her if it wasn’t such a bullshi* case.

    • I am a consultant here in a law practice as an investigator and have worked on at least one major terror case as chief investigator. Often as not, my suggestions for legal strategy are taken. I have more experience in civil litigation. I have met only one lawyer who can do a better cross than I can.
I respect those who know the law well and who work to apply it properly. I am not entirely a civilian in that area, having studied law.

I do believe, however, that the system is worse than you are implying and that those practicing law need to be moved into other sectors. I remember working with the michigan attorney generals office, years ago. They were dealing with complex litigation involving corporate issues, finance and environmental science.

      They were lost.

They were really good on courtroom procedures, something that could be learned watching perry mason reruns, but they had NO understanding of the issues of their cases…

this is almost always how it is

      g

      • We have the talent here to begin writing a platform. The current legal system is a joke that seldom does anything except enrich attorneys.

  21. The U.S. has the lowest tax burden of any major nation and the higest level of inequality.

There is nothing ‘American’ about running the government and nation for the interests of the richest 2% whilst everyone else sees their living standards fall.

The media and the political parties – owned and controlled by the super rich – have done an extraordinary job of convincing most of the population of lies such as that anyone, in fact everyone, can be rich if they work hard. Nevermind that 95% of all the jobs required to be done in society could never make someone rich.

The whole thing is a tragi-farce. For a society which has created a social model which actually works, look to Germany, Sweden or Denmark.

  22. At the start of his “revolution in 2008, I was a big supporter of Ron Paul. I suggested to Lew Rockwell that Ron’s campaign should list all the bases, assets, etc. the military has wordwide, as Duff has done, and total the cost, then estimate what returning personnel to US might do to bolster economy. The Paul campaign did nothing of the sort. Now he has mildly suggested that we bleep the debt owed to Fed; Why the hell does he not use visual aids to explain the crooks on his TV appearances and make the point with Gusto. I like Ron, he knows what’s wrong, but I think he has election advisors who do not encourage him to speak up as Duff has done. Let him know.
He wont get as much media, but one goo splash beats a hundred milk-toast appearances.

  23. GREAT Article- something that millions of us feel in our hearts.
I’m still laughing when one of videos showed Donald Rumsfeld pointing out this elaborate multi-story complex in mountains and what do you find when you go up there- basic caves. Did Rumsfeld think they had sophisticated engineering company go there at that altitude and blast out incredible tons of rock?
I think it’s time to hit the Guinness and Sambucca- circuits are overloaded.

  24. It’s time to say a resounding “NO!” to jews who have taken control of AmeriKwa’s government (and the reason we are having problems).

  25. Cool…I love scrambled eggs! Some great ideas here. I’m sure everybody could agree on at least a few places to get started.

  26. dig up nixon. is he still alive at Kenny Lays paragua compound.

  27. I wish. Let me know when.

  28. Mrs. Feinstein, referring to the tortuous legislative process, said: “Sausage making is not pretty. But the sausage we have, I think, is a very different sausage from when we started.”.

Feinstein is going to get a sausage alright, 10 feet long and 6″ in diameter put where the sun don’t shine and labeled “The People of The United States of America.”

Get out while you still can, fools. We will help you. There is no cost. The gig is up. Save yourselves to fight another day.

  29. Bravo, as long as:
    1. You are for retaining the constitution, and eliminating the 16th amendment (even though it was never ratified, just to be sure) I assume if you’re seizing fed assets then you’ve ended it, but we need to end the income tax, as congress could also collect an income tax.
    2. Cannabis, pscilocybin, and other natural products are not part of what you call “drugs”
    3. There will be a REAL common law trial of the people with direct involvement in 9/11
    4. We either deport or collect back taxes from ALL illegal immigrants currently here (and discontinue the policy of anchor babies).
    5. Enforcement of constitutional common law, and the end of the US corporation and the use of Maritime law. i.e. repopulation of the republic, and the elimination of the birth certificate trading scam. (and distribution of the current capital in those accounts to the respective citizens) i.e. the republic of missouri project.
    6. Elimination or extreme restriction on usury would be a good idea, and elimination of fractional reserve banking entirely.

All that said, I have not read an article in quite awhile (if ever) that hit a majority of the problems, without politicizing issues, like this one. Mr. Duff I am impressed. More articles like this, dealing with solutions and not the excrutiating minutiae of who shot Mr. Burns, are necessary and welcomed.

  30. Lionel Standish

Abolish the DEA. End Wall Street’s War For Drug Money.

  31. One other thing, there needs to be a simplified way to remove BAD people from government. From the Supreme Court to the lowliest cop in the street, it has to be easier to get the bad apples out. I also think that cities should not be funding themselves with ticket revenue. Studies from europe with fewer police giving speeding tickets seem to refute the entire premise of traffic tickets.

  32. Gordon you are awesome. For those with the endless repetition of “but, but, but” either get a real idea and participate or sit back.

It’s all of the people that want to argue but never solve anything due to their “issues” that got us in this mess.

  33. Gordon, as usual you make some insightful comments but this particular comment; myself and probably other readers of yours find infuriating: With no Al Qaeda, responsibility for 9/11 entirely with Bush and Cheney, no enemies in Afghanistan and Iraq, it isn’t about bringing the boys and girls home or bringing the dead back to life, it’s time we asked for our money back.

911 WAS A MOSSAD OPERATION! THEIR FINGERPRINTS ARE ALL OVER IT! BUSH ACTED LIKE A TOTALLY INEPT PRESIDENT ON 911 WHICH ATTRACTED A HUGE AMOUNT OF SUSPICION TO HIM. NOT A GREAT PLAN BY HIM AND HIS SUPPOSED MURDERING COLLEAGUES IN THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT. IF HE WAS INVOLVED IN 911 HE WOULD OF TAKEN THE ACTIONS EXPECTED OF A PRESIDENT ON THAT DAY. HIS SUPPOSED COHORTS WOULD HAVE MADE SURE OF IT BECAUSE LIVING IN PRISON IS NOT A GOAL OF MOST PEOPLE.

Perhaps you should have a debate about 911 with Christopher Bollyn. I would really like to hear the debate. I admire your work but blaming 911 entirely on Bush and Cheney makes me want to shout “Oh the horror! The horror! 911 was a Mossad operation!”

Who, by far benefits the most: Israel. The blame on Bush and Cheney was started and promoted by prominent 911 websites controlled by Mossad agents and sayanim.

    I agree with Alan Sabrosky.

    From two articles:

Dr. Alan Sabrosky, former director of studies at the prestigious US Army War College says that the military brass now know that Israel and those traitors within our nation committed the 911 attack. See the video:

They did it. I have had long conversations over the past two weeks with contacts at the Army War College, at it’s headquarters, Marine Corps and I made it absolutely clear in both cases that it is 100 percent certain that 9/11 was a Mossad operation. Period.” -
Dr. Alan Sabrosky, March 14, 2010

    Best regards,

    Brian

  35. Agree with most of what you said, but you need to end the doctorial Regulatory Agencies that are run by industry insiders to who they are supposed to regulate.

Next, you will never eliminate drug use (never), so decriminalize it and regulate it so that it does not become something that needs to be fought at tax payer’s expense that will never be won. Also, why create an underground economy.

Last, how about an economy system that is 100% visible & traceable. That way everybody knows what everyone has and where everything is at all times. I’ll bet you see a lot less billionaires if the public knew where their money came from. I’ll bet wars would not be fought if the citizens knew who funded the wars. I’ll bet visibility would straighten out 60% of everything real quick! Not to mention secrecy…

And why you are at it, how about going back to forcing corporations to register as corporate charters like it was before 1871 when they were not such a nuisance and politically powerful.

    • Let’s eliminate wars UNLESS the offspring of those that start them are forced to serve

      • Let’s eliminate wars UNLESS the offspring of those that start them are forced to serve in the front.at the front, first at the front

      • I agree that an all volunteer military is a military without a conscious. Economics, gaming entertainment and propaganda should not be motivations to serve. When men are forced to go to war, many (personal, family, etc..) start to question the motives of war which puts government in check for the severity of war.

Should we even talk about professional private militaries with immunity?

        • Ill do you one better. Establish that any politician promoting expeditionary war of aggression and any who concur with such a call be immediately seized, outfitted and sent without support to fight their desired war. Not only would awareness of such a caveat put an end once and for all to the belligerent aspirations of any successive politicians but would rid us of those who had dared to propose such criminal action in the first place.

With a proper State militia framework in place of the institutionalized death cult we’ve had for so long, the men and women of this nation would know that their responsibility is to DEFEND these shores only and nowhere else on this planet.

  36. Gordon – You. Are. Hardcore!
    Love it!!! Sign me up!

  37. Good Gordon!

Only ONE of your points would end the mess as we know it: Tax the churches. Tax the Ford Foundation (etc). Most of the bad policy comes from “think tanks” and the churches just let the policies happen so the giv’ment leaves them alone.

Tax the shirkers and the policies (ALL) will likely change. And most of the guilty are punished from the git-go.

Every time the budget gets discussed, notice how quiet church neighborhhods get? Let’s wake ‘em up.

  38. Oh and Gordon…just legalize all drugs. The sales tax on them can be used to fund treatment centers. By cutting the profit motive completely, drug wars would stop.

    • If you simply legalize all drugs, THIS will cut the profit motive; thus ending the gang wars, endless costs with law enforcement, courtroom backlog, prison-industry and recitivism which perpetuates the cycle again. If you place a tax on these newly legalized drugs you’ll still be paying for all the above, they’ll just be tax-evaders.

  39. You forgot the Dept of Education as a department that is a total waste of money. They instituted “No child left behind”, which turned the education system into a system where kids practice tests all the time and those tests don’t test higher level thinking very well, so the teaching of higher level thinking is flushed down the toilet.

  40. G., Pretty damn good (and thoughtful) post for a short term cripple! We need to keep you tied to the chair more often. :-)

    T.

  41. rex

will add….this is more of an american political piece…what has gone on here over the past few weeks has been unreal.

one of our political parties has declared open war on the american people and yet a few of our posters are such dumb shits they don’t notice.

    this is pure class warfare

even a few of our writers are being duped into rehashing zionist propaganda….

    and

the debt issue is one with two distinct sides….obama on one and our zionist friends on the other….who have brought their good friend gaddafi to the table….as a bargaining chit

plain as day….despite the denial of some

  42. rex,
you know its a joke. this was leaked to hurt the united states in foreign policy by Israel and assange. I use it to help.
Murdoch and his two monkeyboys, assange and netanyahu don’t get the joke either.
    g

  43. So, you’re complaining that benefits will be cut……even as you demand a cut in spending?

  44. I find it hard to believe that this comment came from the pen of Gordon Duff

…”We thank Wikileaks and Congressman Ron Paul for proving the first Gulf War was in response to the invasion of Kuwait, an attack approved by the White House”

It is pleasing to see that Wikileaks served at least one useful purpose.

  45. Great Article. I especially like the line “declare all debt and currency worthless until those holding it can prove where they got it” If we shut down the FED and eliminated every citizen’s personal debt we could instantly correct everything wrong with the country. If we didn’t spend half our income on interest payments and were able to spend it on goods and services unemployment would be eliminated in months. It would also take all the power from the criminal bankers.

  46. Did I say something about eggs?

  47. All great ideas Gordon but can we really expect the big money parasites to voluntarily give up feeding off us? History, particularly that of the French Revolution, though there are plenty of other examples, demonstrates that nobility will resist until they are violently overthrown. I hope we can do better but so far we have not only have failed to show the ability to learn from history but also have shown utter disdain for the concept of learning from history. It really seems to me that we have to totally abandon the idea of a very wealthy and powerful federal state and devolve into many constituent states of a totally voluntary confederation.

  48. Robbie the Pict

Love it! Would that CAP (Citizen’s Arbitration Panel) be Phrygian perchance?

    • Including the funny hats.

      • Let’s go. I am ready. Let’s start our own party. There is already a jobs party and a Constitution Party. Regardless of the name, I completely agree with the ideas. Here’s another one to add to the list: end forced vaccinations at the federal and state level until the science behind them is proven. What we know now is that austism and behavioral problems as well as asthma have increased as the numbers of vaccinations have increased. While you’re at this overhaul, let’s redefine the mission of the FDA so that it is really testing drugs for efficacy in an efficient manner. The costs should be born by taxpayers rather than drug companies so that there are no divided loyalties.

CUT ALL THE DAMN MEMBERSHIP FEES AND COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH GROUPS LIKE ALEC, THE CFR, Bilderberger and any other organizations that discuss one world government.

Cut all usage of military transport to pick up relatives of Congressmen or Senators.

Let’s restructure the VA system and make it a national system that serves civilians as well as military with the latest and greatest. Civilians could pay a premium in lieu of the idiotic Obamacare bill. This would improve medical care for all as well as reducing the costs for average Americans…AND the military would have a whole lot more people available to assess the quality of service.
