The woman on the right, whose freed from the Gaddafi family hours before outlines torture at the hands of the wife of Gaddafi’s son, Hannibal. Hannibal and wife, a long infamous “gruesome duo,” known for abusing hotel staff, servants, anyone they could get their hands on, tortured this woman for days.
However, “wingnuts” of the conspiracy press are claiming rebels secretly captured her, inflicted these injuries and tortured her to force her to tell these “lies” to CNN.
No story is too wild, no conspiracy too “tin foil hat” for the Gaddafi “wingnut parade” to spam the internet with.
As time goes on, we move past the lists being compiled to turn over to Amnesty International, journalists and bloggers, who have supported these crimes. We now have evidence out of Lebanon showing “Palestinian” organizations funded by Gaddafi to have been managed by Israel. Both Gaddafi and Israel, for some unknown reason, are at war with Hezbollah.
Now “humanitarian” groups that used to spy on Hezbollah in Lebanon are also helping furnish support in the “wingnut” press for Gaddafi and his war crimes.
GADDAFI SUPPORTERS SCANNING THE WEB FOR NATO ATTROCITIES
Some of these organizations have been active in recruiting activists to speak and write against UN efforts against the now defunct Gaddafi regime.
Almost funny, if such a term applies, two days ago, a series of bloggers released new stories claiming Gaddafi never contracted with Israel or used African mercenaries.
Yesterday, these same bloggers now claimed that African mercenaries, contracted for by Gaddafi were being abused by their captors who are part of the new Liyban government.
“Wingnuts” assume everyone is as stupid as they are. In some cases, they are right.
As for war crimes issues, months ago, the “wingnut” press claimed that Amnesty International had given Gaddafi a “clean bill of health” and that the UN had gone against Amnesty Internationals findings. The truth? Amnesty International is the original organization that took the case against Gaddafi to the International Criminal Court themselves and are active in Liyba, “boots on the ground,” collecting evidence against Gaddafi and also monitoring the new government as well and raising some concerns there. The reponse from the “wingnut” press? Amnesty international is now part of a NATO plot and working for Al Qaeda and “big oil.”

’50,000 Libyan detainees missing’

“The number of people arrested over the past months is estimated at between 57,000 and 60,000,” said Col Ahmed Omar Bani, a spokesman for revolutionary forces, in a news conference in Benghazi.
The revolutionaries’ spokesman added that between 10,000 and 11,000 detainees have been released, state-run BBC reported on Sunday.
It is likely that those who are unaccounted for are being held in underground bunkers in Tripoli, according to revolutionary fighters.
Bani said “it would be catastrophic if it turns out” that those missing prisoners have been killed.
Many revolutionaries and their supporters were arrested by regime forces during the battle for Benghazi and other cities, reports said.
A lot of the activists and even those suspected of involvement in anti-regime protests were detained in an effort to prevent the wave of revolution from reaching the capital, Gaddafi’s stronghold.
There are some individuals with information about detainees in Tripoli and revolutionary forces are now searching for them, Bani said.
“It is high time those who claimed to have been too frightened to speak to come forward and testify about the crimes which were being committed,” the spokesman said.
Bani said people are finding “mass graves” around former detention centers and prison in Abu Salim, a generally pro-Gaddafi neighborhood.
At least 200 decomposed bodies of men, women and children were found in Abu Salim hospital on Saturday. The people, some still alive when admitted to the hospital, were abandoned by doctors and nurses amid intensified fighting.
Amnesty International reports that it has received evidence showing that dozens of detainees were killed by Gaddafi loyalists in two military camps on August 23 and 24.
Charred skeletons of about 50 people were found Saturday in a makeshift prison next to a military base in Salaheddin, a suburb located five kilometers south of Tripoli, after the facility fell to the fighters’ control.
[Editors Note...JimDean:] The charred bodies were removed from this horror seen today. The count is 153 now. They had been told they were going to be released.

Evidence mounts of atrocities by Libyan “rebels”

Post reporter Simon Denyer asserts that Gaddafi’s troops “executed scores or even hundreds of political prisoners this week, even as victorious rebel fighters appear to have carried out their own abuses.” He cites the testimony of Diana Eltahawy, Libya researcher for Amnesty International, who “described a record of abuse, torture and the extrajudicial killing of captured pro-Gaddafi fighters that has followed the rebels from east to west as they have taken over the country.”
Patrick Cockburn of the British Independent described the same scene Sunday, under the headline, “Rebels Wreak Revenge on Dictator’s Men.” He wrote: “The rotting bodies of 30 men, almost all black and many handcuffed, slaughtered as they lay on stretchers and even in an ambulance in central Tripoli, are an ominous foretaste of what might be Libya’s future. The incoming regime makes pious statements about taking no revenge on pro-Gaddafi forces, but this stops short of protecting those who can be labeled mercenaries. Any Libyan with a black skin accused of fighting for the old regime may have a poor chance of survival.”
Amnesty International has confirmed that many of the hundreds of thousands of migrant workers from sub-Saharan Africa have been labeled “mercenaries” by the NTC forces, by virtue of their skin color, and subjected to imprisonment, torture and summary execution.
One account of rebel abuses comes from Alex Crawford of Sky News, a British broadcast network owned by Rupert Murdoch that has enthusiastically backed the “rebels.” The correspondent was embedded with the anti-Gaddafi forces and accompanied a unit that marched from Zawiya into Tripoli. “We report it as we see it,” she said. “We saw Gaddafi fighters who were tied up and executed. It’s war. This is what happens. Rebel retaliations here are really upsetting.”
The British news agency Reuters reported the finding of several mass graves in Tripoli, claiming they were evidence of “widespread summary killings during the battle for the Libyan capital.” While attributing the worst single killing, some 53 bodies found in a burned-out warehouse, to Gaddafi’s forces, the Reuters report continued, “Reports of cold-blooded killings by both sides have surfaced in the last few days, darkening the atmosphere in a city where many residents had greeted Gaddafi’s fall with joy.”
A chilling picture emerges of the new regime being consolidated in Tripoli. It is being consolidated in blood, with massacres of civilians in pro-Gaddafi neighborhoods as well as pogroms of African migrant workers, under the direction of an Al Qaeda ally who now takes his orders from NATO headquarters and the White House.
The crimes being committed by the NATO-backed NTC forces demonstrate the hypocrisy of the propaganda campaign spearheaded by the Obama administration and its accomplices in Britain and France to justify the military onslaught against oil-rich Libya in the name of “human rights” and preventing a bloodbath.

Calling for an attack on a UN member is a straightforward crime against the pece – check out the Nurnberg charges. You thereby also became a member of the conspiracy to plan and impement crimes agaiast the peace. That’s what got the Germans hanged. Calling for crimes against the peace means you deserve to hang as they did.
And BTW, who has been one of the prime advocates for launching a war to tople Qaddafi? It’s not a tin foil hat update. Both Gaddafi and the rebels are responsible for horrible activities.

I have been scanning the web and the only bad stuff seems to come out of America.
Gadaffi was a strongman and a dictator, as was Saddam Hussein.
Both gave their countries a high living standard, which is not what Saudia Arabia does.
Both wanted out of the US dollar system, and both used a lot of their oil to improve the lives of their people.
Why don’t you suggest that NATO come and bomb Washington DC, where the real terrorist activity comes from?
NATO has done a superb job of killing a huge number of Libyan civilians, which seems to be their job around the world.
Cynthia McKinney actually went to Libya and spoke out against NATO / US policy.

And the shill Alt media has reported 100% the opposite, and we are going to nail them to the cross for it. The deserve to wear the shame, as they worked so hard to earn it. Lizzie Phelan reporte on day two that the civilain defense corp and Gaddafi troops had crushed the rebels and ‘cleaning up’ operations were going on. She claimed that all the footage of Zawiya being taken, but all the other journalists, was all faked. I must say I can’t really remember such shill war reporting by ‘independent’ journalists.
Voltair Net called for ‘propagandizing journalists’ to be prosecuted…something he might want to reconsider when he has time to clear his head.

The long history of Gaddafi regime atrocities…just disappered. None of the Alt media ‘journalists’ or McKinney types could locate any of it. But they were able to all at the same time instantly find all the wonderful pro Gaddafi PR material. It did not take too long to find out that word spread quickly that Santa had come early this early and Gaddafi had a huge pile of money out on the PR street and there were many takers.
The rebels have some of the paperwork and as it is released it will put this issue to bed, but not for all. As Uri Averny covered in the Instilled Memory piece I did on him…even the facts coming out eventually do not change the minds of the hard core, if they don’t like them.
We would not be going to these lengths (it’s just beginning folks) if there were just some of these flakes sprinkeled around. Instead of wasting your time on making your columns that look like extreme obsession for Gaddafi , you need to be focused on real journalism. You have yet to do research on the TNC or the Rebels. I find it real disinfo when you focus more on Gaddafi’s doings than anyone else at all. What makes it worse is when people disagree with the article they are labeled “Wing Nuts”. I was shocked to see the terms tin-foil hat, “wing nuts”, and other ultra-cheap ad hominem attacks on readers. These are all tools used by those protecting the ugly secrets, and are usually indicators that the comments are getting extremely close to the truth. How many times have we been hoaxed by this exact technique? A fake video / picture with a traumatic story that demonizes a person or nation? A thousand? A hundred thousand? This entire article indicates it was written by CIA and planted on this site. It is totally out of character with the fine analysis and approach of the rest of site.
