Those who own the media appear to dislike Dr. Paul…………How is that for the understatement of the century!
hoped I would have more Ron Paul supporters out there.
Well, I called into Alan Colmes on his show a few weeks ago, when he was discussing every candidate except for Ron Paul, even though he had won a straw poll in the South, was raising money like mad, and had an edge in Iowa. Colmes told me that it was because Ron Paul could never be elected, which struck me as undemocratic and even unAmerican. Presumably THE PEOPLE are supposed to determine who is going to be nominated by the parties. He has the only sane foreign policy among any of the candidates on either side of the aisle, wants to abolish or reform the FED, and return our nation to Constitutional government. I had expected some of these results from the election of Barack Obama, who has turned out completely different than he represented himself as being. If there is not more support for Ron Paul, then most of the readers here at VT must not be paying much attention.
I doubt anything would change, but he has my vote. He’s the only one saying the right things. Then again, so was obama. It will take a mass awakening by the people and then a peacefull revolution. I don’t see anything really changing from electing a career politician, but I guess anything is possible.
The USA has never been anything but a “plutocratic oligarchy” from the very first day.
If President Obama proved nothing, he proved that the “PO” is still in control, the only changes he brought were superficial, he continues with the same illegal wars and programs that the ‘other’ Muppet GWBush—a confessed war criminal.
As long as the “PO” remains in control, the results will be the same, or, variations on a theme–nothing more.
If ‘Dr. Paul” had any true intentions of making any changes; the “PO” would not let him get as far as he has.
He is simply another ‘player’ in the Muppet Show of the USA–Politics.
Eliminate the “PO” and there may be hope for a future. Soon however, the “PO” “elsewhere” will be able to excert the control over the US”PO” since they are loosing their credit lines swiftly.
When that occurs to much more ‘credit loss’ the USA most likely will trun on itself—
They last time they did that1861-65, over slavery, they killed off 10% of their ‘adult white male population-the “PO”-the ones in control, and still lost, since the ‘civil rights for the slaves was not attained until1964.
The Americans killed more of each other than all of the ‘other wars’combined—before or since their “Civil War”–or “The War betwen the States”–whichever ‘teller’ of the ‘tale’ is talking.
Good luck America, you need it.
Michelle Bachmann has invoked a “curse” on the US if it MIS- treats Israel. Perry’s foreign policy advisor its reported is Feith a member of a group headed by Perle, Wurmser and wife who developed “The Clean Break Strategy” for Bibi Nethanyahu which called for the invasion of Iraq, containing Syria and threatening Iran with nuclear bombings. Erci Cantor a Repubican congressman from PA. promised Bibi Nehtanyhau that he will “protect Israel” from the Obama administration.
Since Congressman Paul has always talked about primarely Americans and their Constitutional rights and obligations and rarely if ever mentioned Israel the msm naturally ignores as viable candidate.
