We Are The 99% Who Want Peace, Harmony And Love On The Planet

As people took to the streets in a rolling action targeting 951 cities in 82 countries from Asia to Europe, Africa and the Americas ~ they are all joined spiritually by a common innate urge to unite and bring about a world cemented in Peace, Harmony and love. We are not dreamers, nothing will stop our march to true freedom and we are already too big to fail.
“You’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain ~ but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life; that there’s something wrong with the world; you don’t know what it is, but its there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad. It is this feeling that has brought you to me. Do you know what I’m talking about?” – The Matrix – 1999
Mark this moment ~ a true shift in global consciousness is upon us for the Occupy Wall Street Movement is touching deeply felt evolutionary chords which will eventually break down the global walls of greed, separateness and war and will eventually replace them with altruism, social cooperation and peace ~ the true driving forces of evolution.
As Michael Lerner correctly writes ~ “We want to replace a society based on selfishness and materialism with a society based on caring for each other and caring for the planet “.
Meanwhile, there is a well deserved political panic growing on Wall Street as the Occupy Wall Street movement’s top demand of ‘taking the money out of politics’ brings about increased corporate anxiety as well as an intense moment of truth from the mainstream media’s Dylan Ratigan ~ three minute video;
The poet laureate of the Occupy Wall Street movement is the late John Lennon whose prophetic lyrics to Imagine strike a universal need for a world community to unite in peace, love and harmony ~ not war, hatred and disconnection. Read and listen to Lennon’s words for they are now being carried in the streets of cities throughout the world ~

This is a people’s movement with the power to change the world ~ because the need to unite and co-operate is a soul based need whereas the need to separate, control and isolate is an ego based need and contrary to human evolution.
As such, the War on Terror is an unwinnable war!
How can we defeat terrorism if the building blocks of terrorism are ignorance, poverty, hunger, hopelessness and despair?The more bombs we drop, the more people we kill, the more people we unjustly jail ~ the more the disenfranchised resort to their only available weapon ~ terrorism.
Under these circumstances the most powerful weapon that can be used against Terrorism is social cooperation and altruism. And there is much evidence that these twin weapons of mass outreach to the poor and disenfranchised are the very foundation of our evolution as a human species.
Indeed, It is Teilhard de Chardin who clearly reveals this urge to unite and co-operate as a fundamental law of nature. ” If there were no real propensity to unite, even at a prodigiously rudimentary level, indeed, in the molecule itself, it would be physically impossible for love to appear higher up in the ‘humanized’ or human form. “ ( The Phenomenon Of Man )
Charles Darwin, to me, captured the “without” of evolution but completely missed the “within” of evolution or mainly the universal urge to unite.
Teilhard used the term ‘within’ to denote the psychic face or consciousness of matter ~ since the beginning of time ~ which reveals itself in its innate urge to unite.
Teilhard defines this innate urge to unite as an energy force in his famous Law Of Complexity – Consciousness. The law states two principles:
- Throughout all time there has been an evolutionary tendency for all matter to unite and become increasingly complex in nature.
- With each increase in material complexity, there is a related rise in the consciousness of matter and an even greater urge to unite.
Teilhard divided this fundamental energy into two distinct components ~ a Tangential energy which linked the element with all others of the same order and a Radial energy which represented the innate urge toward union and greater complexity as well as a leap in consciousness.
It is this Radial energy in matter, this deep urge towards
union and completion, which eventually manifests itself
as LOVE .
As such, Teilhard’s Radial energy is one in the same with what I call a state of Soul Consciousness and the Unified Field . A state of love and soul consciousness that exists not only beyond time and space but also deepest within ourselves and whose principle property is the universal urge to unite.
If we compare this with Darwin’s evolutionary theory, Darwin’s only error was to substitute matter for spirit as the motivating force of the Universe.
For it becomes increasingly clear, in light of this innate urge to unite, that man is the product of an evolution of cooperation and love. From the pre-atomic stage in the depths of the primordial sea to his present ‘ humanized ‘ state ~ man is the product of a seemingly endless evolution within a loving plan of plurality, union and a resultant energy transformation into something more complex, more conscious and more loving.
Our common task on this planet is to surrender to this same universal urge to unite and play our part in the great coming together of mankind ~ and it begins with each one of us surrendering to love, social cooperation and altruism versus hatred, separation and greed.
Richard Leakey wrote in “The beginnings of mankind” that there was very little evidence of violence and aggression in early mankind with considerable evidence of social cooperation and altruism as the deciding factors in evolution.
Scientific American said virtually the same thing in its issue The Arithmetic’s of Mutual Help (June 1995) where it shared how computer experiments show how cooperation rather than exploitation can dominate in the Darwinian struggle for survival. The article by Martin Nowak, Robert May and Karl Sigmund seems to reinforce Teilhard’s Law of Complexity-Consciousness ~ “ Throughout the evolutionary history of life, cooperation among smaller units led to the emergence of more complex structures as, for example, the emergence of multicellular creatures from single-celled organisms. In this sense, cooperation becomes as essential for evolution as is competition.”
They conclude by saying ~ “In the course of evolution, there appears to have been ample opportunity for cooperation to have assisted everything from humans to molecules. In a sense, cooperation could be older than life itself. ”
And what else but Love, social cooperation and altruism could be older than life itself.
As such, we, the 99%, can no longer deny our deepest and most basic urge to unite and cooperate with one another by continuing to condone an unwinnable war on terror, excessive corporate greed as well as economic and social injustice!
And that is the world wide spiritual thrust of the Occupy Wall Street Movement ~ who utilize the consensus process in their general meetings which is an excellent example of true democracy in action.

There was no real political change in 2008. There was no real political change in 2010. However, there WILL be real political change in 2012, but it won’t be coming from brainwashed couch potatoes, manipulated voter lists, rigged voting machines or predetermined ballot counts. It will be coming from us… The 99 Percent and we are already too big to fail!

If its with regard my pointing out the...
The OWS Movement has self appointed itself as a representative voice of “The 99%” but clearly seems to only be pushing liberal viewpoints and agendas. For a movement claiming it is leaderless it now has a group of six people step up saying that they are the founders and leaders of the group. Moveon.org and the Democratic party are already claiming the movement and Moveon is using the OWS protest sites as Obama re-election platforms. If you visit any of their websites they suppress or outright delete opinions differing from theirs. Anything contrary that gets posted is met with several spam postings saying that the postings in question are anti-semitic and racist. However if you read the post it generally contains nothing anti-semitic or racist at all only a message differing from their own.
I really wonder who is behind these protests. They definately seem to be getting co-opted in to a leftist version of the Tea-O-Cons and an Obama re-election forum.
So what makes the 1% ignore the primal urge to unite and turn their backs on the weak and vulnerable? Is it a genetic deformation that results in psychopathic behaviors? Was it a lack of affection in their childhood? Maybe it’s addiction to money and power or all of the above?
It’s ego consciousness, Kelli ~ and with it control and power.

I read that piece by Chris Hedges and absolutely loved it! I admire what he is doing. I’m not savvy with posting youtube links but I saw him interviewed at OWS and he was very moved by all of this. Yes the ego is our own worst enemy. Anyone who takes a leadership position, even the people who are stepping up to organize actions at OWS need to be aware of the power of the ego.

How could you reform the entire world within a few years?
What if Oct 28th 2011 or Dec 21st 2012… that 1/3 of the entire planet had a Near Death Experience? You know that tunnel of light where you meet a dead relative and have a life review…
That’s the simple version, but what also happens during your life review you know the feelings of every person you have encountered and likely a larger knowing of the effects of your action on others. Then mysteriously you come back and decide to share or simply keep it to yourself.
During this venture (for many , not all people) you come to the realization that there is no such thing as death and that we are here to experience many lessons and to live life to the best of our ability. Also, that Reincarnation is a fact and that some form of Karma does exist but not how we think we know it. And the only purpose we need know in life is to learn (may take a lifetime) to love one another. One last thing (sometimes revealed) is that the potential of a human is a hundred times greater than humanity has ever been led to believe and that humans are restricted mostly to the confines of their thoughts & beliefs.
Now the day after such an event might be a little awkward at first, but do you think the protesters on Wall Street are pesky now, what do you think it would look like if people really knew some of the revelations of a NDE?
A great thought… but why do we give more credence to Ancient Scripture, than to the direct experiences of our fellow man? 100’s if not 1000’s have had NDE’s, but we hold our God fearing beliefs more sacred and most often will do nearly anything to defend them!
I figure it’s all part of the same thing. I’ve not heard it before, but the ‘feeling’ part would certainly make sense. It seems God may like to rub it in a bit.
In the spirit of empathy and compassion, we must examine our own dark side. Specifically looking at how we may be jealous, greedy, contemptous, afraid, angry, helpless, and ignorant in even small ways that if left unattended can also be part of the problem that allows wealthy ignorant politicians and corporate executives to take advantage of us. It is not us or them, it is us and them, together, to work it out without more violence and inprisonment.
Broken government fixes things that are not broken because they can. Who is going to stop them?
We don’t have smart bombs and deadly drones. They do.

I used to shoot frogs with my bebe gun. And on the 4th of July we would tie fire crackers to frogs and blow them up. I regret that now. I feel bad about it, but that is what we did as young boys taught that killing animals was a macho thing.
I doubt that the Dubya is a tortured soul. He is a man/boy of entitlement. And anyway, Jesus forgives him and Dick for all their cruelties. I however, will not be forgiven for my cruelties as a young man because I know that Jesus is a joke. And anyway, the ones that I need to forgive me are the frogs, not Jebus.

Even If you don’t “believe” in Jesus Or Jebus as you call him – Is the message still not valid? And since you throw out the message also – then you have no beliefs at all as the Bible is the foundation of a sound lifestyle that permits you to coexist in a sick and troubled world.

The Bible Jesus pushed the idea of hell upon his groupies. And then there is all the eschatological nonsense that he threatened people with. What a jerk. The Bible claims that “the beginning of wisdom is the fear of god.” Bertrand Russell pointed out that “all religions are based on fear, and fear is the parent of cruelty.”

Thanks for your confession, Gary ~ the common characteristics of a psychopath are the lack of compassion, empathy and concern for others. Killing people and animals is not a macho thing and Jesus was far from a joke. The frogs won’t forgive you until you forgive yourself and then, you just might begin to understand Jesus.

I did forgive myself, then I forgave Jesus. And now I think that I do understand Him, at least the Bible Jesus. He never existed. He was created by lunatics who respected Judaism but couldn’t do without the really cool pagan stuff like virgin births and soterology, etc. Christianity is founded upon a murder. The idea that you are cleansed by blood is barbaric. Blood does not cleanse, blood stains. This might explain the vulgar history of christianity.

This has always been a very ignorant question. It doesn’t matter if you’re a hawk or a dove, the answer is: there is no CASH to be made in peace. You get peace when you die, while alive expect an arguement once in a while.

America’s member of Congress all all owned by the military, big pharm and the banks and none of them are going to be paying America’s debt – that will be left to the little people – the average American.
The large corporates are not American, they are multi-nationals, and they can move to any country they want to. Once America goes belly up because of wars and debt don’t count on the military complex, big pharma and the banks to stick around.
The people who have always wanted peace and harmony have never and will never have their wishes taken into account when making decisions when it comes to making money in America.
Peace is not what our leaders and those that control our leaders want. Read Gilad Atzmon’s new book, “the Wondering Who?” if you want to understand the nature of our enemies. The face of the other enemy, the islamist terrorist, we already know from the WTC attack.
