A Canadian website, Globalresearch.ca, (article pulled from site since)has published an article claiming the Russian FSB, formerly known as the KGB, has issued a report claiming President Obama has ordered the killing of Congressman Ron Paul.
The European Times, another “fringe” source has also carried the story. The reason Paul is being threatened:
More reliable sources tell us that the real threat is one concocted by the Gingrich camp and their Israeli backers, based on Newt’s private promise of a full scale invasion of Iran.

Israel is terrified of Ron Paul and the Likudists hate him more than they hate President Obama. They actually fear Ron Paul and, we are told, will do anything to stop his candidacy, which is running 10 times stronger than the polls report.

Veterans Today, while investigating sources of stories in the “fringe” media supporting the Gaddafi regime, tales of his military victories and how his 250,000 man Tripoli militia was going to descend on the dozen or so rebels who eventually took the city, tracked two unusual aspects.
We found all pro-Gaddafi stories, along with much of his military support, to have come from Israel and Israeli contracted African mercenaries, thousands of whom are currently awaiting repatriation while being held by the new Libyan government.
We found something else. We tracked patterns of language, we call them “talking points” and records of payments through former Bush official, David Welch, through an Israeli spy organization in Lebanon and to “activists” and “dissidents” all over the web.
What makes this particularly frightening for Ron Paul is that the wild and hare brained threat attributed to President Obama may very well be a very real threat from Israel passed onto the web through news sources that, because of their “outing” on the Gaddafi issue, may actually represent the Mossad.
Newt Gingrich - For Sale to All the Right People
In fact, with Ron Paul being the only potential Republican candidate capable of challenging New Gingrich, Israel’s choice to unseat President Obama, a hoax like this is very possibly something very different.
Paul, boycotted by the media for his failure to kowtow to Israel, is very possibly the real presidential front runner.
It is also likely that Gingrich, known for his instability, is likely to implode soon, despite fabricate poll data and careful press handling.
Thus, we now get the assassination threat which, were it to have come through any sources other than those that are “no so covertly Israeli,” they could easily be ignored.
What are we saying?
This could very well be Israel using their access to the alternative media, though “hasbara” or “hidden servants,” to frighten Paul or his family. This isn’t the first time such a thing has happened.
In 1992, presidential front runner, Ross Perot, dropped out of the campaign though most polls placed him well ahead of both George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
PEROT EXPLAINS WASHINGTON AND NAFTA
Perot’s policies, to eliminate the Federal Reserve, balance the budget and steer and independent course in the Middle East.
Despite public pronouncements, Perot was never friendly to Israel. He financed a private investigation into AIPAC and openly advocating outlawing their operations in Washington.
Ron Paul, despite public statements recently to the contrary, is also very well known as an enemy of the Israeli lobby in Washington and a threat to their influence, read “control” of congress.
Then we get bizarre and senseless “hoax” threats against Paul that couldn’t be stranger if they involved space aliens.
This, of course, is the point.
Herman Cain crashed and burned, the candidate of the Koch Brothers.
Newt Gingrich is owned and operated by Rupert Murdoch, “closet” head of Israel’s ultra-nationalist Likudist Party, a man with more baggage than even Cain.
No Love Lost Between These Two
In fact, every Republican candidate is so scarred that no one can stand against President Obama, now clearly seen by global analysts as someone unable to work with Israel’s Netanyahu.
They hate each other.
There will be no attack on Iran, the US refuses to interfere in Egypt’s election and President Obama and French President Sarkozy conspired together to remove Colonel Gaddafi, long time Israeli ally, from power in Libya.
The question: Is Israel turning to its controlled “alternative media” sites to leak hoax stories across the net as a personal warning to Representative Ron Paul.

I was expecting something along this line to have emerged much sooner. THEY have not been able to “sweep Dr. Paul under the rug of obscurity” this time. If it involved any of the other “MSM legitimate NeoCon” candidates, we would probably be declaring a “code red” emergency and possibly going to war with the suspected culprits.
This is war in America by any definition.
BTW, the comparison with Perot’s position is spot-on. At that time I was “unaware” of the “shadow governments” power and intent. I do remember Perot’s VP running mate as being portrayed as “having a few oars that didn’t quite reach the water”. The MSM working overtime or not. I was’t as tuned-in and watching back then.
It is only too plausible. Ron Paul is a threat, many of us predicted that were he to gain the stature his campaign has earned that such efforts would be made.
Ron is fearless and really avoids thinking conspiracy and would be an easy target, one wonders why Herman Cain got service protection. While any attempt or actual kill of Payl would enrage millions, it is far better that he wins the bully pulpit.
We have all feared and loathed what seems to be fast coming. I can never forgive the evil Neocon broadcasters who earned our enmity with there pro-Zionist propaganda.
No wonder the smarmy Senators feel safe in passing this latest terror law, bringing real terror down on people for the first time. Bastards all.
Paul is incredibly clearheaded on most matters that affect us. He can go toe to toe with Bernanke. That will tell you something about his capabilities. Yet, the way things are today in Amerika, anything could happen and he could be “taken away”.
Still, I’m sure he is under protection, BUT never forget that certain of JFK’s SS guard were “insiders” that went along with the directions to step back before the rifles went off snuffing him out.
We live in a country where anything goes. While the Godfather basks in Hawaii, who knows what mayhem is being planned? Clearly, Syria and Iran and their current governments are precariously balanced on the ends of their diving boards. War is being planned as we speak.
But, as much as I prefer Dr. Paul, I really fear for the guy. When you look back at all the false flags we’ve pulled, dadgum, I even hate to think of this happening again.
As the boxing referees used to say, “keep your gloves up and protect yourselves at all times”.

I’m no stranger to their articles and I can see, easily, how Zionists would hate the site. I can even see how the average Amerikan would take to the series about Gaddafi they did, essentially praising Gadaffi for his work in boosting for a free Africa with their own gold dinar, etc. VT says Gadaffi was rotten to the core, a real bad guy. Well, you always start on the easy stuff in breaking down a long running scam. The African currency thing was an obvious scam. He had only the slightest amount of gold to even think about it. Saif was paling around with Nathan Rothschild on the Riviera, so that was a deep pocket for a backer. But what did they need Gaddafi for?
The whole thing was such a fraud, to see a well financed medium pushing it as a real story, people who are supposed to have Intel resources…it was obvious that they had been ‘tasked’ to push the story. This is the whole point of ‘owning media platforms’…to use them for key things when you want to, trading on the trust you have built up with reads on other issues that you don’t care so much about.
Even the Mossad has been purchasing media platforms, with their relatively smaller budget, versus just planting an editor and a few reporters. They want complete control over the whole thing. On North America country even has their Mossad station chief in one of these places.
And of course Rupert Murdoch has been thick as thieves with them. Just the added political influence these platforms give you is quite a bang for the buck.

When he asks how he is to know that you are legit, he’s being sincere. He’s not rhetorically telling you you aren’t. He’s obviously struggling with it.

That is insufficient testimony Gordon. To prove a site is a disinformation network you have to watch the articles over a long period of time. Globalresearch.ca most often sponsors well researched and documented pieces. That GR did not agree with your analysis re Libya is only relevant to you – they were in the same company as Pravda, Xinhua, China Daily and other sites. I note that Al Jazeera – a notorious US government schill – supported VT’s points of view. Does that make VT a US government schill?
If you read how VT supports the OWS movement, that suggests that VT is not a schill for the USG – but if you only read your coverage of Libya you would have to ask that question.

We examine dozens of subjects and are aware of political agendas that are not available to the public.
Reading what you write tends to support that you are someone tasked with trying to provide cover for the sins of others but lack both depth and intellect.
Folks who disagree because they have “other” beliefs are don’t attempt to be as cognative and, in the process, display their agenda so easily.

First off the title of this column should read; “I hate Israel” by Gorden Duff.
Perot left his campaign for two weeks before dropping out. It was because (he said) Bush had threatened to disrupt his daughter’s wedding by claiming she was a lesbian. It was also said that he found out the the Bushes had found out about the hiring of a detective to find way of discrediting the Bush’s. No place was Israel mention.
Also, The only place I have read where Israel has been accused of or even though threatening to assassinate Ron Paul is right here or other web sites where Duff has access. Israel certainly doesn’t like Obama. But I haven’t heard of any plan of assassination. And one won’t, until it’s over for anyone for that mater.

Hoax or no hoax, it does not matter much. Paul is riding high on his promise to bring 18th century heavens to the masses. Even assuming he would get the job, he will only make a mess by turning his Federal Reserve crusade and other unorthodox ideas into wedge issues that will conveniently pit political activists against each other.
Paul’s record speaks volume on the probability that he will serve the public better than his competitors. He has had 10 full years in the U.S. congress to request some technically credible explanation as to why the twin towers disintegrated completely in about 10 seconds. He has never done so. Consequently, like his colleagues, either he has never read the U.S. constitution, or he is, or he is inexcusably ignorant of 9/11, or he knows full well the stakes of 9/11 and is committed to preserve the official myth. Either way, he deserves little interest and the unknown oligarchy–whether it be zionist or not–that covertly runs the U.S. government has a friend in him.
