Nuclear Weapons and Smoking Guns

The smoking gun behind the rapidly accelerating covert campaign of assassinations, bombings and cyberattacks against Iran, is widely believed to have Israel pulling the trigger.
During Tehran’s morning rush hour on Wednesday, a bomb killed 32-year-old nuclear scientist Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, who had been a department supervisor at the Natanz uranium enrichment plant. Roshan was the fifth scientist with nuclear connections to be assassinated since 2007.
Iranian officials immediately blamed both Israel and the United States.
American officials deny any role in lethal activities to halt Iran’s nuclear program.
Tommy Vietor, a spokesman for the National Security Council claimed, “The United States had absolutely nothing to do with this.”
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton “categorically” denied “any United States involvement in any kind of act of violence inside Iran” and added, “We believe that there has to be an understanding between Iran, its neighbors and the international community that finds a way forward for it to end its provocative behavior, end its search for nuclear weapons and rejoin the international community. [1]

Many opine that the multifaceted covert campaign against Iran is the alternative to outright war and that sanctions have slowed down Iran’s enrichment of uranium and uranium is used to fuel nuclear weapons.
Defense Secretary Leon Panetta thinks that sanctions are “working to put pressure on [Iran] to make them understand that they cannot continue to do what they’re doing…Are they trying to develop a nuclear weapon? No.
“But we know that they’re trying to develop a nuclear capability. And that’s what concerns us. And our red line to Iran is, do not develop a nuclear weapon. That’s a red line for us.” [2]

Panetta won’t “take any option off the table. But the responsible thing to do right now is to keep putting diplomatic and economic pressure on them to force them to do the right thing and to make sure that they do not make the decision to proceed with the development of a nuclear weapon.
“I think they need to know that if they take that step that they’re going to get stopped.
“We made very clear that the United States will not tolerate blocking of the Straits of Hormuz. That’s another red line for us. And we will respond to that.
“I think, you know, our preference is that the international community, including Israel, ought to work together on this issue. We have common cause here.
“We’re not interested in them developing a nuclear weapon.
“We are not interested in them proliferating violence throughout that region.
“We are not interested in them trying to assist in terrorism.
“We are not interested in them trying to destabilize governments in that region or any place else. We have common cause here. And the better approach is for us to work together and not act.
“If the Israelis made that decision, we would have to be prepared to protect our forces in that situation. And that’s what we’d be concerned about.” [3]
What we the people of America need to be concerned about is America’s collusion with Israel in sabotage, such as the Stuxnet computer worm.
“Over the past two years, according to intelligence and military experts familiar with its operations, Dimona has taken on a new, equally secret role — as a critical testing ground in a joint American and Israeli effort to undermine Iran’s efforts to make a bomb of its own. Behind Dimona’s barbed wire, the experts say, Israel has spun nuclear centrifuges virtually identical to Iran’s at Natanz, where Iranian scientists are struggling to enrich uranium. They say Dimona tested the effectiveness of the Stuxnet computer worm, a destructive program that appears to have wiped out roughly a fifth of Iran’s nuclear centrifuges and helped delay, though not destroy, Tehran’s ability to make its first nuclear arms.
“Though American and Israeli officials refuse to talk publicly about what goes on at Dimona, the operations there, as well as related efforts in the United States, are among the newest and strongest clues suggesting that the virus was designed as an American-Israeli project to sabotage the Iranian program…Officially, neither American nor Israeli officials will even utter the name of the malicious computer program, much less describe any role in designing it.
“How and when Israel obtained this kind of first-generation centrifuge remains unclear, whether from Europe, or the Khan network, or by other means. But nuclear experts agree that Dimona came to hold row upon row of spinning centrifuges…another clue involves the United States…an expert added that Israel worked in collaboration with the United States in targeting Iran, but that Washington was eager for ‘plausible deniability.’” [4]
The only plausible way out of this state of madness run by hypocrites in high places is a Nuclear Free Middle East and a world where all people are free and equal.

The Israeli’s don’t want others to be “FREE” and definitely don’t think other middle-easterners or anyone else on the planet is equal to them. That is the problem, as they eye and covet the water, land and other resources around them. Supremacists, greedy and selfish. How do you correct those inbred characteristics?
Well, not sure I agree with the take on those characteristics being ‘inbred’ but most indeed agree that it is US foreign policy vi-a-vis Israel Palestine that is “supremacist, greedy and selfish”.
What I say is time is most ripe for the 2nd American Revolution keeping in the spirit of Thomas Paine and it requires the US regain Common Sense that flew out the window when that day we call 9/11 happened.

North Korea definately has nuclear weapons but for some reason the US is not beating its chest and talking about war with North Korea. North Korea is a far more dangerous lunatic than Iran.
North Korea does not have oil and natural gas supplies which is why the US Government and media stays mum and ignores it.
The wars in Afghanistan and Pakistan are all about the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, the US/Israel does not want India, Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan to join this group because it would mean that 50% of the worlds oil and gas resources would be in this economic grouping. 9/11 and these wars are all about spheres of influence and power, Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda are just media lies to cover the real game, which by the way, looks likes its not working.
The current wars are a failure, Afghanistan is not likely to allow the US to build permanent military bases on their soil. It is likely that India, Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan will all join the SCO within the next two years. The US is too bankrupt to go to war with Iran. The US strategy of making China out to be the big enemy in the Asia Pacific is not likely to work either especially given that the world is driven by trade and by 2020 every country in Asia will have China as their major trading partner. Most countries in Asia have signed non-aggressive pacts with each other so it is not likely that any of them are going to go to war.
The EU countries are going to be producing their own military weapons instead of buying them from the US which is why the US is shuting its military bases in Germany.
The umemployment figures in the US have just risen again which was entirely predictable because most of the December hiring was for retail staff for Christmas sales and all of these people are now redundant. The US sluggish slow economy is going nowhere for a decade yet the US Government cannot bring itseff to cut spending. The US deficit is likely to be larger than its GDP by the end of this financial year, and on the whole, the US looks worse than the EU PIIGS with the exception of Greece.
Smoking gun or no smoking gun, there is absolutely no way the US can start another war. No US ally has the money to go with it either. The relationship between the EU and US looks like it is on the rocks big time.

Eisenhower warned US not to bind our economy to the Industrial Military Complex and now it has morphed into the Industrial Military Security/Surveillance Complex.
Most concerning for me are all our returning Vets who are facing a bleak job market and the increasing homelessness among children in our nation.
Throughout America there are scattered manufacturing plants that produce a cog, a bolt -just one component that goes into a Nuclear Weapon.
The DOE/Department of Energy’s nuclear weapons design and production complex consists of eight sites.
The NNSA/National Nuclear Security Administration runs the weapons complex, and is planning to build three new nuclear facilities that will significantly expand U.S. warhead production capacity.
The Y12 Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee will produce “secondaries” which equates to 125 new nuclear weapons per year.
The Y-12 Plant is currently scheduled to manufacture upwards of 2,000 LEPS/Life Extension Programs warheads by 2016, which are refurbished WMD and which will equate to 80 NEW Nuclear Weapons a Year.
This will also exceed the number of deployed warheads permitted under the New START Treaty (1,675), as well as undermining the argument that new production facilities are even needed!
Most nuclear weapons in the current U.S. stockpile were produced anywhere from 30 to 40 years ago and they were not designed or intended to last indefinitely.
In the mid-1990’s, the DOE embarked upon “Life Extensions Programs/LEPs to refurbish and extend the ‘shelf life’ of existing nuclear weapons. Under the LEP, warheads in the current arsenal are disassembled, parts are refurbished or replaced with new components, and the warheads are reassembled and redeployed.
The purpose of the LEP is to maintain an enduring nuclear arsenal and add at least 30-40 years to a warheads usable life, according to the DOE and one official has been quoted at 100-120 years!
While programs for education and cleaning up our environment are being cut or are frozen, funding nukes and war continues!
Three decades after the Cold War, we the people of the US are being taxed at a rate 75% higher than the annual Cold War average of $5.1 billion!

Ms. Fleming, I’d like to think you are trying to do good just because it’s the right thing to do. But the fact of the matter is, your pieces read more like campaign propaganda. How many times have we read or heard political positions that sounded wonderful, only to realize it was pure BS designed to buy power for the purveyor of said BS.
Are you running for office, or are you genuinely concerned for the survival of the planet and the human species? If both, please give me a reason to believe you that’s more convincing than the crap that some cat named Obama (and MANY others) have rammed up our behinds.

The families of the Federal Reserve owe the Dragon Family some 250 TRILLION dollars. This law suit was filed in November in New York and is 100% viable and “ on the books.” There are hundreds of investigations going on involving Obama and his illegal war on Libya, and enough votes from within to impeach him on this alone. Major investigations in to George Soros and the Rockefellers on interfering with government acts, bribery and blackmail. A new financial system is being laid out to put an end to the Fed and its cabalistic bankers.
