Rarified Atmosphere of “Washington Insiders” Hides Reality from Buchanan

First of all, I am a fan of Pat Buchanan. I respect his view, see him as the last of the real conservatives and also know he is one of my readers.
Pat speaks for himself here with Hannity on Fox but, my view is that he misses the point. He was recently on Truth Jihad with Kevin Barrett and totally ducked any questions about 9/11.
Pat has to learn that the old dividing lines are gone. He has an offer to have full freedom of speech here on Veterans Today, actually a larger audience than he has had for many years. First, his video interview:
A move I have made after years of more than careful study, access to great people and, just perhaps, a bit of growing up that I wish more would do…is that “neo-conservatism,” responsibility for the decline of America isn’t an accident.
You don’t cut taxes, up spending, grow government ten fold, manipulate prices of gas and oil, food commodities and other vital needs and invent new enemies and hopeless wars if you aren’t looking for societal collapse.
So we have Hannity, to me the voice of Stalinist totalitarianism, working for Rupert Murdoch of Fox, an Israel ultra-nationalist, not the person he loves telling the world he is through his control of news, trying to talk to Pat Buchanan.
Buchanan is off the air because Israel took him and Andrew Napolitano off the air. Hannity works for them and is the utter political opposite of Buchanan who, out of disappointing dim-wittedness, finds himself next to one of the “front men” for the destruction of America.
Hannity and Buchanan have nothing in common and there is nothing “leftist” that has anything to do with getting rid of Pat Buchanan.
VT is one of the most progressive news sites in the world and Pat Buchanan would be perfectly at home here other than being poorly informed by having to spend too much of his life tied to limited mainstream news, edited intelligence reports and felt he was required to repeat the endless mediocrities he believed people needed to be told.
Still, during his career he did much, spoke out, and told the truth when he knew it. I like the hell out of the guy and, by his standards, I am “left” and among those he believes went after him.
What he is terrified of is, of course, the AIPAC/Israel lobby which he has been dancing around a full scale war with for many years.
We have the guts to go to American Jews and demand they choose, America and Israel or working for the Stalinist cabal run by the Likudists, the “neocons” and a gang of secret societies and rogue villains who would be more at home in James Bond movies than the real world.
The Koch Brothers or Mr. Las Vegas, Adelman? Auric Goldfinger is more like it, world control, collapse of currencies.
Why would Mr. Adelman, the ultra-rich Vegas boss insult America’s military, which he served in, or support people like Rick Santorum who balances between dim-witted buffoon and criminal sociopath.
Romney is worse, Santorum is right about that.

They are both right about Gingrich, he is the worst human in America and a cursory look at his life, not the version in Wikipedia that he has edited daily, but a real one, makes it obvious.

Did Buchanan think Oswald shot Kennedy or that 19 hijackers with boxcutters crashed a missile into the Pentagon? Did he think a friend of the Bush famly shot President Reagan out of coincidence?
Pat, I would tell him, we all have to grow up. You can’t be Nixon’s former speechwriter forever. Nixon only made on memorable speech and that was “Checkers,” and it didn’t come from you.
Since then, much has and yet much hasn’t. Seeing you with Hannity, the representative of the folks who took you off the air, watching you “not notice the elephant in the room” is humiliating.
When a man fired for telling the truth about Zionism goes on a tv show and is interviewed by the world’s biggest Zionist shill, the word “whoring” comes to mind, not truth telling.
Yes, Pat, the imaginary leftists who rule the world forced you off the air.
Not being totally stupid is a start, we thank you and Ron Paul for that. Are you afraid of seeing your name with Ernst Zundel or David Duke, perhaps even David Irving?
Bud McFarlane has shamed all Marines by pushing for Jonathan Pollard's release.
Yesterday, “Bud” McFarlane, a former Marine and who is now employed by a front group run by Henry Kissinger and the Israel lobby demanded the release of Soviet spy Jonathan Pollard.
McFarlane knows Pollard spied for the Soviets. He is not stupid.
However, McFarlane is on the payroll of a foreign government he chooses to ignore facts about, among those facts is that Jonathan Pollard did more damage to the United States than the Viet Cong and Taliban combined.
Playing “former Marine” without the combat credentials to really pull it off has reached an end. When are more Americans going to put America first and do it without going back to the trough for more and more “backhander” payoffs?
Pat, you have my number sitting in front of you. Have the guts to call. For Bud, “grow a pair” and get yourself on the ADL “hate list” where any patriotic American belongs.
If you think this is 2001, you are mistaken. Buchanan was shut up because he spoke truth about Israel. McFarlane is now on the “hate list” of another kind, our senior military and intelligence guys are ashamed of him.
If you don’t think this is a war, a war for the survival of all humanity, you have been watching too much television.
Excuse me for sounding like a softhearted liberal, albeit the only one of the group who has actually killed for the United States.

I wonder if he has done a Mossad 911 Mathaba Google search and then read the evidence in the article at the Mathaba website.
I dunno, Gordon. How can Pat Buchanan NOT KNOW that Israel did 9/11? Has he been living on Mars? He seems like a smart guy, he’s been in and around government for years, he must have noticed by now who’s in charge. So one can only assume he’s a neocon himself or some sort of controlled opposition, distraction or both.
Maybe he just turned chicken, like you say, but what does he have to gain by doing that? I can’t see the motive.

Kevin’s point. My problem is that I know that he has never ready any of it, never even gave it a thought.
He is untrained.
As for McFarlane, he knows all of it.
Worst part is that he is a nice person.
Why can’t he be brave and honorable?
I can’t be angry at him, I know what he has done that we don’t see. He has been there for people at times, he has put his neck out from time to time but dying in dishonor isn’t worth it.

Libya would take volumes. We are losing much of the history because those who go back to 1969 or even 1986 are gone.
I would make a 1980s type TV miniseries about Gaddafi.
The guy who could put it together is JB Campbell. He is actually a great screenwriter.
I can get a few of those left to talk. For others, the truth about Gaddafi is enough to put some in prison.
Gaddafi is a key actor in several important historical eras, was on 3 sides at the same time and is now a tragic figure.
But we have to remember all Libya…..and so much tragedy.

I don’t think running candidates against traitors and demons is wise, because it grants them legitimacy. Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice I have heard, and I’ll go with extremism on this one.
I’ve never been able to discern why Vietnam vets are so special. Hell, I knew right away I was being had. For those who enlisted to go and fight the Middle East menace, have you learned anything yet? Proud? Proud of what? Is there satisfaction in representing the monied Tarantulas? Is it possible to be proud of taking part in an illegal conflagration of a war of imperialism? Part of the damage accrued psychologically is the utter shame and utter lack of pride that saturates those who have signed a contract with the devil and now owe allegiance and loss of sanity, morality, and health for causes that can only ennoble those who fought legit wars in the past. There will be no more legit wars, has there been one before? I just find it off kilter to think that what I did deserved anything resembling unswerving respect. One of the last remaining VJ Day parades is in Moosup, Connecticut each August. How did WW2 end in the Pacific? A country employing the likes of General Curtis Lemay to firebomb Europe and then Japan with the first nukes refused numerous peace entreaties from the enemy in both conflicts and yet we can “celebrate” hundreds of thousands of deaths thanks to leaders who espoused so-called total victory. How did those who decimated columns of defeated, white flag bearing, tank turret reversing Iraqi soldiers celebrate their victory over the enemy? What about 1.7 million German soldiers starved post WW2 by Ike, our hero?
Our soldiers have little or nothing to celebrate. They take part in bogus actions at the behest of those agents not interested in justice or freedom. What is worse than serving in a military that propagandizes from start to finish and deprives soldiers of honorable effort and honorable results? One must read the war poetry of Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon before committing life and limb toward efforts and lives that can never share sweet victory. We ask all from our soldiers and give them nothing in return. Pride from my effort has never issued forth, I just don’t go the self canonization route of those who think their effort was so noble, so special, so unique. Ol’ Smedley said it right, war is a racket and soldiers are the mere cannon fodder of those who gladly exchange the dead and wounded for financial reward and the trappings of power.

I think you’re right with your statements, but what Gordon talked about, was the inability of honest conservatives like Pat Buchanan to face reality here and now, and Gordon does it from his own honest, and at the same time not specificly conservative perspective.
Yesterday, I did the same, as a reaction of the putting “Off Air” of Judge and Pat. I wrote a small article in the german leftist newspaper blogsite “Der Freitag” linking to the VT article and stating, that if anyone would think that these “shutup” actions had anything to do with left or right, didn’t get it. It has to do with the constitution, it has to do with fundamental beliefs and rights, for which we life (or die).
If anyone, in the current deterrent situation of the US, puts his preference of left or right above the destruction of the constitutional rights of the people, he/she has not understand anything of politics and “God given rights” at all, which means “Rights, that no one can give or deny”.
The readers of this leftist newspaper think, that neoconservatives are nothing more than politicians of the exteme Right. They know nothing (and they also don’t want to learn) about their ideological foundation (one of this is Trotzcism – never ending revolution, or today – never ending war on terror). If I make my statement there, they think, I’m a maniac, but I’m not.
These times are completely confusing for a lot of ordinary people, they don’t get it any more. Many of them live in a dreamland that’s long gone. Perhaps, Pat Buchanan is simply one of them?!
It is really, really sad to see someone who is falling grasping for handholds that were always just illusions.
Mr. Buchanan was, in my opinion, a great tool for the myth of the right/left divide.
At times, Mr. B. would come up with real insight, but one had to sift through great piles of rhetoric to get there. The thing about Mr. B. is that he always seemed to really believe what he said. In this way, he reminded me personally of all the times I was wrongheaded, and paid the price for bringing a stick to open the lock, instead of the key.
I believe he simply cannot fathom the world as it truly is, and was fired because he was never a guy to front the propaganda-which is exactly what the media puppets need right now-a front for propaganda.
9-11 reality requires enough science background to have confidence. Working with structural steel at some point helps. Also, cognitive dissonance and paradigmatic thinking are factors. Possibly, Buchanan thinks his big impact will be from his books, Android wanted to “respectable” to promote them. Maybe he was being wiser than a serpent?
The choir doesn’t want anybody singing offkey, at least till they get out foot irretrievably in the door in Iran. The fix is in in Maine and the MSM. Let’s not forget that every German was blamed fow WW2. Just because we’ve been dispossessed, we are still liable for what our country does according to Nuremberg Law. By that logic, nothing is off the table when it comes to defending ourselves from the terrorists who have hijacked our government. It’s happening again.

The MSM’s total control over the public forum in America gives it tyrannical control over our political process. Greg Palast’s recording Murdoch operatives offering political protection for toeing the Zionist line proves the MSM not only fabricates reality, but acts as an enforcement racket as well. If money and fame don’t keep our narcissistic politicians in line, MSM character assassination of these pols–90% of whom, I’d say, are chosen for their vulnerability to blackmail–will. If one can accept that Buchanan is a bit of an opportunist in the sense that he will not pass up an opportunity that will give him a sponsor and microphone, one can still like Buchanan and remember the courage he displayed. I had my shock when Ross Perot was looking for a candidate, Pet was just running out of welcome from the Republicans and was looking for a new home. The Perot group had money, Pet needed money. It was only years later that I learned what Pat did to the Perot people. So one has to learn to separate the work of art from the character of the artist. Pat was and always wanted to be a Republican
