Climate Debate is Another Part of Pincers by Humanity Haters

I have been a named columnist here at VT almost a full year, and this is the first time I’ve entered the “global warming” fray.
Although I read the sensational stuff at Climate Depot almost daily, and my personal views on carbon controversy say the manmade part is only hype for the market makers who screwed us over already, several times.
And, while I relished the juicy but superfluous info that came out about so-called “climategate,” I prefer less lobbied views. So sticking my big mouth in wouldn’t serve much.
Climate has changed drastically according to the best science we have, though we also have the difficulty of separating fact from fudge in everything these days. I have no friggin idea whether glaciers from a relatively recent “Ice Age” dug and filled the Great Lakes.
Like you, I only know what I know. I know the difference between information and knowledge. I count very little over the Internet as knowledge
I know I personally watched filmed “news” in an afternoon matinee as a boy, that showed a buildup of snow and ice in Antarctica. I recall because it was a topic of many conversations back around 1943 when we lived in Cambria Pines, which had one tiny theater in a barn.
I know that I watched another “news” film less than a decade ago that showed how the famous snows on Mt. Kilimanjaro had receded to almost nothing due to “global warming.”
Now I know that film and videos are showing that snow has come back to Kilimanjaro.
Those things I know only because seeing was believing back when film was innocent.
I believe, but don’t know, the whole carbon thing has been a huge scam of the kind only private bankers running our culture could pull off with the help of myrmidon minions in Hollywood, and Madison Avenue, and Washington, DC.
Frankly, I don’t give a damn. I’m old, tired and do not care to survive a helluva lot longer.
Were I one of my kids, I would be pissed off about so much, I would likely get myself tossed in a gulag or shot, or both.
The haters of mankind may eventually win over righteousness, but it will be a Pyrrhic victory at best. I pray for a ringside seat at the gates of hell.

Try to find a copy of the documentary “Mine Your Own Business” and see how envirowacko control freaks keep entire populations in crushing poverty on the pretext of protecting the environment. There is no reason industries and workers cannot prosper if managed well.
People who want to develop their own resources and improve their lot in life should not be obstructed by looters parading as scientists and goody-goody naturalists who have no regard for anyone outside their rotten circle. They wouldn’t know how to rake a yard of leaves or shovel snow.
Ann, you and I must stop meeting like this. I come from a family/culture of fishing folk in Morro Bay, CA.
Abalone divers and albacore fishermen were serious environmentalists who grew active right after WW2 when influx of veterans crowded the fishing ranks—pointing to over-fishing. Many divers, who were familiar with coastal ecology first hand, went to Sacramento to lobby for some common sense, libertarian rules, there were no environmental whackos back then, but genuine concerned citizens, By 1960s the picture changed. well-funded “environmentalist groups came in with media backup to create a huge subsidy of the fascist variety; folks today, with hindsight, can see what happened and how the private banking/financial world crept over every environment like well-funded kudzu. A pox on politicians and media for their faustian bargain.
I surely misspoke in the above column. I said that “films were innocent”, in the past and mentioned the old, small theater in Cambria back then. I also saw the original King Kong in that same theater, and knew nothing of “special effects”. Thus “knowing” is only about time and place and not about what one observed on a screen. (Plato’s cave)?
Well Tom, the earth produces untold amounts of Co2 and Co. So much in fact it’s nearly 1 million to one, in this manmade production of lies. So, if the trenches at the bottom of the ocean decide to produce even 1% less in a given decade, and the sun decides to produce less spots for a year or 2, we might actually cool down. Reverse those two and it might heat up .001 degree celsius.
Humans make up a billionth of that…….go ahead, check the numbers, not kidding. So, when I see money attached to anything, I know it’s shit. Carbon credits? Seriously? Trying to tax the stupid and ignorant was easy before the internet. The scheme was hilarious from the start. We’re going to tax you for making gas that comes directly from your lungs and plants in the hopes that we reduce these gasses (you).
Regardless, of whether or not these gasses are reduced, we’re still going to crush your economy. Uh, huh, works for them?! The system they proposed Tom, does nothing to stop the amount of tonnage in the air, it only made sure they made more money if your corporation was successfull. Let me restate; the GORE credit system proved it DID NOT REDUCE CARBON, it only made money from human systems.
So tell me, anyone, where is the benefit for the planet? There isn’t. If you go back in history, which americans hate or don’t wish to learn about, you will see 20 times more Co2 and Co in the atmosphere at the time when we had an entire planet covered in greenery. PLUS GIANT Co2 PRODUCING DINASAURS at the same time? How is this possible?
We have more ice in the arctic than in the last 40 years…….. We have more ice breaking off antarctica then in the last 60 years. That’s good. It means ice is growing. So when they scare you with “THE ICE IS BREAKING OFF” and it’s the size of Rhode Island, that’s good. See, when ice grows outward toward the north, you know, where the sun shines more? IT BREAKS OFF?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone seen the photos of the 60′ tall trees near the arctic circle? They’re really old…pre- Al Gore I think.
