Last week, while looking into the Supreme Court decision on “Obamacare,” I stumbled onto some startling information. Everything we think we know about insurance and medical care is a lie, all that stands between you and being murdered by a bankster is a doctor who may or may not choose to save your life, even if he or she has to break the rules.
These rules exist by the millions, rules by hospitals, by insurance companies, by the VA, by Medicare and Medicaid, all of them deny care, deny drugs, deny lifesaving procedures and the rationale is generally based on “not being former Vice President Dick Cheney” who is wanted for war crimes in dozens of countries.
Imagine the hospital team that had to decide who got the new heart beating in Cheney’s chest. Do we give it to a young mechanic or a man whose heart failed 40 years ago, someone who has caused death and destruction for decades, a man who can’t travel because he faces arrest and execution at the hands of any genuinely free nation on earth.
This is a man accused, very rightly so, of starting wars, ordering killings, responsible for the slaughter of over a million people, the death of thousands of servicemen, the tens of thousands of suicides (numbers no longer reported are that high), the disability of half a million or more and the collapse of the world economy.
He didn’t do it by himself but is considered, with people like Dick Rumsfeld, Henry Kissinger and George W Bush behind him, part of the biggest criminal cabal in world history. Sometimes I think TV is filled with shows about Hitler and the Third Reich only so Cheney’s face won’t be there whenever the term “mass murder” is mentioned.
As the rules stand now, war criminals come out on top every time, they get the heart, they get the experimental artificial heart no one else could have, they get flown around in helicopters, they have Secret Service escorts when, in truth, the majority of people in the world are wondering why he hasn’t been hanged already.
Cheney is just one of the inequities.
The big thing is that, for many decades now, health care has been rationed out. First of all, fewer and fewer employers in the US have comprehensive health care insurance. Only members of unions have insurance, though not like in the past. Currently 10% of public workers and 7% of private workers in the United States belong to trade unions.
All others covered workers, estimated at another 14%, have limited plans that deny things like transplants, exotic cancer treatments and newer medications which are, in most cases, more effective than those insurance companies authorize.
Let’s get those numbers straight. It isn’t 60% that are insured but closer to 8% with “full insurance” while the total with full and partial coverage comes to around 24%. In addition to this, 31% of the population, giving us that other figure, has limited coverage through Tricare, ChampVA, Veterans Health Clinics, Medicare and Medicaid.
Among these, those on VA coverage and Medicaid receive the lowest standard of care, comparable to that of the uninsured.
In a recent study by Harvard Medical School, patients suffering with strokes or heart attacks who have no insurance, but who go to the hospital, and many don’t, stand a 50% higher chance of dying.
Figures for Medicaid were omitted from the study. We wonder why.
Veterans wait as long as one to two years for some common procedures and even those few who qualify for full coverage, totally disabled vets and former POWs, received limited care, few medications available, waits to see specialists for up to 2 years and waits for common procedures of up to 15 years.
Most of these individuals were not covered until after an average of 12 years of processing, the Veterans who applied for disability compensation, and others are expected to pay for services at low market costs and are pushed into bankruptcy just as with private patients.
40% of bankruptcies in the US are caused by medical bills, 50 percent of those by patients choosing to pay “out of pocket” for life saving care that was denied by their insurance carrier as “experimental” or “off list.”
Then we have the invisible uninsured, those who don’t hang out at Social Services or Welfare offices, people who have worked and had their jobs outsourced to Asian sweatshops, this is millions of Americans now, people who own homes, or used to, who have families, who have always worked, some for very high wages, who realize the truth. Either stay well or die, this is the real choice they have and this is how you hear them talk.
Their children never get glasses, never see a dentist, they never get preventative care and many who are in this position were, only a year or two before, owners of large suburban homes, had 2 or more cars, vacation homes, boats, took cruises, then, with the Bush collapse, they were the first to go. They are America’s “new poor.”
First the job hunts and living off credit cards, then the minimum wage jobs and eventually half of those disappeared. A PhD doesn’t guarantee the ability to work at MacDonalds making burgers and fries in most of America.
At one time, when collapse came, you could move, California, Florida or to Houston to work in the “oil patch.” California of today is broke, Florida is broke, overcrowded and barely American anyway and the oil business has been moved, to a large extent, offshore.
What we have left is the bastard child, Obamacare. Question is, did he want this program, the one that carries his name, or is this the compromise he settled for that would allow GOP controlled banksters and insurance fraudsters to force Americans to buy insurance in a trade off to save the lives, save the sight, save the teeth of a generation of American children, in this case, the remnants of what America used to have for a middle class.
Is Obamacare good? No, it is too much of a compromise, living proof that many Democrats, called “Blue Dogs” can be bought just as easy as the scamster Republicans.
What is the real answer? It is simple, we build an efficient system that makes treatment available equally to Dick Cheney or your own child so that you don’t have to watch your small child wither and die because he isn’t drowning in money made by killing thousands, rigging defense bids or ordering assassinations.
You think Americans take care of their own? Do you own a car? Do you think the people lining our streets claiming to be veterans starving to death are all lying?
It is 95 degrees here in Ohio. Skin art, known as the tattoo, is something I recognize. When the “sign holder” has a bulldog or “screaming eagle” on one of the arms that says, “Family Starving, Will Work for Food” I take him seriously.
I know he has been to see a bureaucrat or been to the local Veterans Service Commission, our local one seems to have misplaced $7 million in funds over the past few years.
Want to go to a veterans organization? Need a drink, want to gamble, that’s their business, that and spending millions in dues fighting court battles over religious issues, memorial crosses placed on highways, left under bridges, each one brings out lawyers willing to spend enough to send a thousand children to college to fight for months over idiocy.
Remember these minor things:
- Insurance companies and the VA ration care and always have
- Poor die in hospitals, figures don’t lie
- The best of us don’t go to hospitals at all, we die peacefully, screaming in pain and are taken away to have our bodies dumped in a field. That is how the real America works, more and more that way each day.
- Veterans are scum to be spat on, mistreated and forgotten. If they were decent soldiers they would have all died because we were sick of hearing from them 30 days after they left anyway. I only speak this way because of 19 years of working with vets and managing an organization with 600,000 of them.
- If you get decent care, you have a doctor who learned to “play the system” and get around insurance company rules, be thankful
- If you think Obamacare is bringing “rationed medicine,” you belong in a mental institution or are perhaps in one already
We have thousands of nurses in America now unemployed, a great secret. We close and tear down hospitals all the time.
Drugs cost about 3% of what we sell them for.
There is no reason for private insurance, it is only another term for Wall Street Bankster. They do nothing positive, nothing but kill Americans.
The worst union in the US is the doctors union.
Every new system set up breeds a new group of crooks who manage to steal it dry. The only answer is full Socialized Medicine or Single Payer with community health centers, full accountability for those who don’t take care of themselves and a rope to hang those who steal from the people.
China uses a bullet in the back of the head, I can live with that method too.
Our next step is ending imports, leaving the Federal Reserve System, bringing our troops back home, closing our borders, ending drug use, returning all news and entertainment to real people, not NWO outfits and letting Americans get back to what they are supposed to be doing, working, getting paid for it and getting a fair shake in the process.

…….Ok Gordon and what is your point? It is Cheney’s fault? I do not like him either and I do work with vets. It is up to the person. Treatment? What kind of treatments do you want from the VA? PTSD is better treated outside of the system….they will just kill you with SSRI’s and you do not like that either. I wonder if you are just acting malcontent. You can treat that at home too. I mean no disrespect but many issues are better not chased with pills and CT scans unless you need emergent surgery. Behavioral Cognitive Therapy and what I originally wrote will do a lot of good if the person is motivated and wants to participate in their life. I think I am clear on this.

This article speaks my truth. Thank you. Obama care looks real bad but at least somebody did something. Now we have to fix it. The status quo was unacceptable inhumane and criminal. I think alot of people are super depressed and fatalistic about lack of opportunity and that is why they continue with the bad things to their body – it is form of suicide.

I am a healthy 86 year old person seldom use a Dr. not-even a physical in 30 years just a cardiologist for my BP, so blood test very 3 months because of the medicine he gave me and I am mainly herbal if I can help it. So did not abuse Medicare. Well, Something happened my BP went crazy, and could not lower it, also from old accident my neck and nerves in back I could not walk,
All so strange. Well Cardiologist increased BP nothing happened them went on vacation. I read the instruction on new medicine and found that it had a time factor for research and approval purpose, weeks months or years TOLERATION before your kidney or liver gave out, at my age ???? Well could not get in to see my Dr was on vacation and he had given me stronger medicine that would have killed me.on time factor. Switched to Herbal.
Called for my neck thinking take care one thing at the time after all never had such thing before..Five Dr all told me 3 month, one gave me appointment and cancelled four times,(something questionable about that place and only lower income people.) So tried them for a shot temporarily seldom used them, Call you tomorrow , never called.
The staff began to sound like the Republican put down of Foreign system, Gordon, this id all of a sudden
used those places for years, seldom as I said. Well the orthopedist gave me prednisone and had reaction with my BP. Well it sound to me like an order went down the line from somewhere, not just for me I am sure as an e-mail said it happened to others BUT after reading it it sounded like the usual letter form the crazy Right they had sent around before. They must have decided to go into action.
Well, I hit my herbal list and manage it myself But when the Blood test comes back next week I hope it is not kidney or any thing for hospital. Gordon cannot use Medical for political reasons. I was told Doctor over busy due to Obama Care so many new patient but those will not became available till 2014 ? Something smells. i urge every one to read those info. that comes with the medicine very carefully.I sure don’t want to be a TOLERATON time statistic.

I know one guy (just one) that read the national health care law (I know, I know, its not “National Health Care” to many folks – when actually it is a very confused nation wide health care disaster). The lady running the fed HHS office is the girl that is gonna tell us all what to do health care wise, or sort of. VA and TRICARE get to tell her once a year (I believe this is correct – really confusing) that they are in complinace with her dictates (new law says she writes all the health care rules). She don’t like the reports – where VA and TRICARE health care wind up? Who knows, not me.
Lotta insurance folks gonna make tons of new money with the John Roberts newly written law with its brand new taxes (or penalties?) and lotta “you better do this or else” rules. Yep – gonna have much more of a fed boot on our necks folks. How bout “… whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive … it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government.” Anybody remember where these words were written?

When a well meaning kid who’s busted his ass for thirty years becomes a full fledged doctor, deeply in debt, only to find out he is not free to practice medicine at all, but can only prescribe poison pills, the depression must be unbearable. And if he chooses to buck the system and deal with “alternative” remedies……. God help him. His days are numbered.
The poison is not just in the pills. The poison is the ideology of MONEY, who controls it, who keeps it and the notion that “profitable” enterprises are the only legitimate uses of human time and energy.

My ex (a cancer research nurse,) came hoe SO excited on at least 3 or 4 occasions that they were “on to a cure for cancer”, only to be deflated because some really, really REALLY, stupid protocol was not properly followed. And eye not dotted or a tee not crossed. Pretty soon, I told her, that they THEY were not LOOKING FOR A CURE!!!!!!!!!! It was so freaking obvious to me. And THAT, is TRUTH. Follow it.

Am seeing many of the Americans (w/families, w/small children) who left Japan post-quake/Fukushima, returning to face whatever, here, as opposed to coping with a declining U.S. economy and THE HEALTHCARE system. These people have law, and other advanced degrees, have been big earners both in the U.S. and Japan — have wound up living on food stamps, and going ‘bare’ w/ regard to healthcare.
I would reckon that most/all Americans who have experienced healthcare outside of the U.S., and, in ‘outside’ I would include some ‘third world’ countries, find it difficult to resign themselves and their families to the most inefficient, and inequitable system on the planet. Clearly, it is not a system in which a few people slip through the cracks, but, rather, one in which a few people manage not to.
How easy it would be take a small percentage of our tax dollars at the state level, purchase hospitals, pay the salaries there and open the doors to whoever needs the service. Charity Hospital in New Orleans operated this way since the days of Huey Long. Instead of copying this excellent system, it was shut down amid the screams and cries of generations of people who owed their lives to Charity Hospital. No, you did not hear about the demonstrations held to attempt to keep it open. That’s what controlled media is all about.

You well understand who, how and why this is going on. I am a Nurse Corps Officer (Nurse Practitioner-Pediatric and Family Practice). I practice Medicine not Nursing. I am sure you know what a NP does. What I am not sure of is why you wrote this piece. Is it to raise awareness? You are preaching to the choir. Here is one side of this issue you may not have considered: What do you do when a patient refuses to participate in their own health? Clean food and water, some basic supplements and moderate exercise is not out of the reach of the many you have mentioned. It does wonders for the body at any age. Most people refuse to do this. They want a pill and that pill will get them sicker with time. You cannot do anything with these folks eventually except prescribe them drugs. They smoke drink alcohol and eat garbage food and it is the Republicans or Obama’s fault. These folks are in the hundreds of millions and they do not want to do shit about their own bodies and selves. It is a dead end. They are brainwashed and this is how the Cabal make their trillions. I am not a Republican or Democrat culturally as I know better. If American Veterans and People alike woke up to the fact that “Medicine” will not get them well it would put this scam down the friggin drain. They need to get themselves well. Doctors like Joseph Mercola have free websites with enough free information for one to take control of one’s body and reach a reasonable level of health. Fat Sick and Nearly Dead is a great movie too. Life Extension is brilliant (lef.org) and they have sliding scale for membership. Their magazine is brilliant. Ranting at organizations and Cheney is understandable but the hard work is ours. I tell my patients everyday: What you Eat is What you Get. Get some jogging shoes. (Holabird.com) cheap. Put down the BigMac and get off your ass. No one else is going to do it for you. It is just common sense Gordon. BTW – I dig your stuff.

You might want to check out Pawpaw to get rid of the sarcoma. That would be the common American pawpaw, Asimina triloba (aka Michigan banana), and also its cousin Graviola, in the Annonaceae family. Both studied extensively at Purdue U. Drug companies have been unable to synthesize them yet. I would personally use pawpaw, but I know someone who successfully used liquid, standardized Graviola for melanoma, got it from pharmacist in Amish country. Either can be used along with standard treatment, if desired. Side effects minimal, such as some lowering of blood pressure. Clinical trials for both, on the web. It works by starving the cancer cells of oxygen. The good news is, unlike standard treatment, cancer cells apparently can NOT build up resistance to it.

How is it possible for a patient such as myself who is a VA 100% disabled veteran to be able to receive the best of care in a timely manner which includes cardiac.cancer and a host of other ailments requiring a total of 21 medications?
I agree that years ago veteran’s care was sorely lacking;however,in today’s world they are one of the most highly respected medical entities.You can disagree with me all day long but that doesn’t change what I experience.As you well know a visit to a VA facility can stretch out into several hours so that allows me to converse with a wide range of patients many of which are far worse off than me physically and mentally.
The patients that I hear complaining are those who fall under LOLA’s above description of those who are slackers and take no responsibility for their share of compliance with their medical teams plan and there are a s**t load of those types.
Having had years with an HMO and private medical care I can honestly says that VA medical care is far superior to what I experienced in the civilian world.I would venture to say that you are basing your bias on other veteran’s words and that you use your private medical insurance in lieu of VA care..
Your harsh words against VA care probably have scared other veterans away from seeking medical services through the VA.I also suspect that you are not willing to undergo the PTSD program but I’ll wager that you cash that 100% VA disability check in a heart beat if in fact you have been so diagnosed.
I suggest that you get your ducks in order so you will be able to better report of actual medical coverage rather than that of the grapevine gossip center..
lola, you are SO right! My brother is a doctor, my ex a cancer research RN, my current wife a pharmaceutical sales rep for a huge company and my father a chiropractor. I know these thing to be the truth. YOU are responsible for your own health. The allopathic medical profession is brainwashed to provide you drugs, first and foremost. Advertising is what creates human beings walking in to their doctors offices and stating with loud and steady voices, “I want Lipitor”, and the doctors are trying to accommodate them with their wishes. Most doctors know that exercise, eating the proper foods and restraint with alchohol and tobacco can promote a healthier lifestyle. But they are put under such “pressure” from BIG PHARMA with adverts and other promos, they feel helpless. Still, it is really not a valid excuse.
Therefore, as I said earlier, YOU are responsible for your own health, and you SHOULD be. There is PLENTY information available now on the WWW, so there is really NO excuse. STOP trusting your doctor and trust yourself, armed with the proper information. Say NO to vaccines NO to chemotherapy, NO to statins and NO to any pharmaceutical that lowers cholesterol or blood pressure. These drugs are ALL killers of humans. I SHIT YOU NOT!

Exactly why we need an opt-out, Truthman. Forcing everyone to purchase insurance is the same as forcing us to support a corrupt system which includes all corporate aspects of medicine, but most of all, it includes an enormous number of willfully ignorant people who refuse to do anything for their own health other than ‘take a pill’.
The fact that insurance does not have to be part of any human health care system is never even discussed in the controlled media. How can we even consider such a huge fundamental change to our system without first getting the media out of the hands of our enemies?
Herbs and spices, an excellent way to maintain good health when eaten consistently, should be part of all fast food and processed foods.. Until tobacco and alcohol MYSTERY ADDITIVES are outlawed, until chemtrails and flouridated water is outlawed, until the criminals who control banking and education and commerce are all behind bars, there should be no discussion of socialized medicine. The entire system needs to be crashed first and the reset button pushed.

Probably one of the stupidest replies I’ve ever read. I wrote prescriptions for 35 years and I really, really doubt what you say. As for a family of medically oriented people, you sound like either Juke or Kallikak.
Instead of stopping the trust in your doctor, bone up on the facts and have a productive discussion with him/her. Sure, some docs have savage ego problems and consider any disagreement as tantamount to insubordination,but real docs see both sides of the fence, especially when presented by a heads-up patient.
I’ve gotten away from many drugs and started taking natural supplements, Vit D, carnitine, taurine, etc. You may piss off your doctor, but until you know as much as he/she does, challenging them on the basis of their being an asshole is rather sophomoric. Learn the facts behind medical problems, learn what is known, add to it in deliberate fashion. You may be wrong, what do you do then?
I agree in that there are some great doctors and researchers that you should follow. Try Stephanie Senoff for lipids and cholesterol, Joseph Mercola for all around coverage using natural substances and common sense, Stephen Sinatra and his profound knowledge about Earthing, keeping in touch with the earth by various means. Once you feel confident with what you learn and apply, you can keep going. It’s exhilarating.
Go easy on this total distrust of your doctor. It’s a little all inclusive, frankly. Plus, don’t forget that not all people are so inclined as to learn as readily as others. Not all people have the interest, the mental horsepower. I’ve never seen one person with all the answers. Other than Obama, that is….

The term “insurance” should be changed to “access membership” in this sector. i.e. “health access membership” not “health insurance”. Because without insurance, you cannot afford health care in America. “Afford” is loosely defined here. Someone with a net worth of $3,123,233.02 not only will tell you they cannot “afford” health care without insurance, but they will also know the exact balance of their net worth at any given time down to the two cents.
The cycle is tied to the financial industry, of course. The medical doctors leave school with sizeable sums, and if they don’t get recruited by an institution, they have to either setup shop and pray for a customer base (since the market is already saturated by people who have been there and grown with it over decades) or buy some dying/retiring doctor’s existing practices. That adds to the debt. Thus, you run into epidemics of doctors using the insurance system to their pecuniary advantage. They also use the pharmaceutical regulatory system to their pecuniary advantage. Kickbacks are a huge antitrust, but even the best-worded statute can’t stop a doctor, who has gotten used to his meals, entertainment, and more care of the sales rep from wanting more of the same ol’ same ol’ hospitality to increase prescriptions of a certain brand of drug.
Back to insurance, the individual mandate just provided that industry with a windfall care of Justice “Benedict F’ing Arnold” Roberts. It was not only inserted into the bill by lobbyists vis a vis the Republicans (and then Obama, who ratified it with support in 2009, a flip-flop), but then it was called falsely a tax and approved because basically it made a 100% market share out of all Americans for a cheaper package they would have never been able to sell otherwise.
All of these are financial tools of terrorism, and they do not simply affect soft dollar amounts on a computer screen. Gordon’s article makes that clear. Think of the other examples revolving around the typical merchants of death: big pharma, gun manufacturers, cigarettes, etc. All of these industries have propaganda wings.
How many right-wingers were led to believe Fast and Furious was created to harm 2nd Amendment rights? Who is the best gun salesman in US history? Answer: the POTUS. The follow-up: as he appears to be a useable puppet, we must ask, “who’s puppet is he?”
Yes, we can. His inauguration speech made it clear, “The change is you.” aka “tag, you’re it!” He even urged people pathetically to call up their representatives. Was this his equivalent of turning to the camera and asking for help?

Meth I have to agre with a lot you say and Gordon’s ‘Is American Medicine a War Crime!?’ I do appreciate Obama’s efforts, yet to have Dick Cheney right NOW, the Ability for Health Care we the People Will NEVER SEE!!!,,,- Is a crime our president should understand. I hoped the Right wing Supreme court would Shut down Obama’s Watered down Health Care Bill so we the people could banter back and persist on Single Payer(Obama originally backed this!) .These Cheesey Right Wingers upheld his watered down manipulated view….
